Pamela Turner died resisting arrest by her neighbor. 

Decynthia Clements died after an officer saw she had a knife while attempting to pull her out of a burning car.

All of them should still be here.

The police are neither judge, jury, nor executioner. Black people should not be held to a higher standard than the police. Black people sure as hell should not be held to a higher standard than white terrorists. There is no way to safely exist around police while Black.

So yeah, the police shouldn’t be allowed to perform an execution because their perp decided to resist arrest and run. Anyone who makes the situation in Atlanta about Wendy’s truly doesn’t understand why people burnt it to the ground.

Rayshard Brooks was shot in the back as he was fleeing from a police officer. The police officer who shot him decided that he was the judge, jury, and executioner of a criminal.

That is a major injustice

Say it publicly, you fucking coward.

Cops should not have the right to kill ANYBODY. I could not care less about whether or not they were shooting or are armed with a tazer (WHICH IS NON LETHAL AND NOT HARMFUL FROM THE DISTANCE BROOKS SHOT FROM BTW). Cops should be trained to handle situations under pressure. The should be trained to know how to de-escalate a situation and get the suspect arrested and charged for whatever crime they're committing. If they must fire, they should be trained to NOT shoot to kill. If they must fire, they should aim for a leg and not the fucking chest.

Should Brooks have been charged for a DUI? Yeah, probably should have. Should resisting arrest have been tacked onto those charges? Yes. But he shouldn't have been fucking shot and killed.

Do I blame him for resisting arrest? Absolutely not. He was terrified. Everything happening right now surrounding the blm movement and the injustices black people have faced against cops for how long now? How people that look like him have been shown that even if they comply with police, their lives could still be snuffed out quickly. This entire situation has been so mentally taxing to many black people because they have been shown yet again that they should absolutely fear the police because they are black. So I'm not surprised that Rayshard Brooks resisted arrest in an attempt to fight for his life. But to say he deserved to die because he pointed a non lethal weapon from a distance where it wouldn't have been harmful at all.

If he deserved to die, tell me how Dylan Roof deserved to die after he shot up a church. Tell me how Nikolas Cruz deserved to die for shooting up his former high school. Tell me how James Holmes deserved to die for shooting up a movie theater. How Robert Bowers deserved to die for shooting up a synagogue because he hated Jewish people.
