Last year for FGO JP's 7th anniversary, there was a stage show called FGO the Dramalogue where the voice actors got up on stage and read out scenes from LB6. This is a compilation video that puts the audio from that show over the game's actual scenes.
It's not the full LB obviously, just some key moments. Mostly from part 3, so needless to say, spoiler warning.
The translation used in this video is the rayshift.io fan translation from 2021, so the dialogue is worded a bit differently than the FGO NA translation. Though obviously since they're translating the same Japanese script it's mostly just a difference of word choice.

Does the rayshift.io fan translation team know how much they irreparably changed me as a person with that "your favorite and mine"

I didn't know there was a reliable fgo hacker, is there a place I can check what they find?
Unfortunately I don't know if they publish leaks and stuff :( but they made a translation patch for the jp server that I have been using for several years, you can find it at rayshift.io

List of Magia Record Discord Servers
This is all in the Masterlink Post too, but here is a seperate post for MR discord servers. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have one that you want to have added!
-----
PMMM: Magia Record Discord: This is what I often refer to as “The Big Discord.” It’s a large and active discord with different kinds of people inside of it. As a warning, some of the culture there is very different to tumblr culture-- but you can always just be a lurker. The “Help” channel is extremely helpful and they have a “News” channel devoted to translating the news.
Magia Union Translations Discord: This is the Translator’s Discord. You don’t need to be a translator to join! You can help in other ways, such as recording videos or editing JSONS-- or you can just join to say hello! They’re a very friendly group. However, do not join and demand for a translation or yell at them! Don’t forget that translating is not their job, they’re not getting paid, and they are the heroes of the community and not a bunch of slaves to boss around.
Magireco Time Baybee Discord: This is what I refer to as the “Tumblr Discord.” It’s full of folks from tumblr, just chatting and having a good time about Magia Record. People are very helpful there and it’s not as intense as the Big Discord might be. Please don’t bring up shipping drama inside (you know the one).
Rayshift.io Discord: This is the Magia Record section for the Discord that does the Rayshift Patch! I don’t spend much time here, so I can’t speak to the quality of the content, but it seems friendly enough.

Wait, how did you get the in game translation for Lost Belt 6? I am only getting Reddit summaries for it.
https://rayshift.io/avalonlefae the translation app works by replacing the cached script files without editing anything about the app directly which is like, not NOT allowed but for those who dont like to take the risk they also put their translations in this playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLax9JmtqMNMKq3n8SvVE0qWBKDFf2hh7L normally they use machine translation so you can just get the gist about an event but for lb6 theyre translating manually and pretty fast to boot

This isn’t exactly RP stuff, but do you know any specific resources for writing fan-servant skills in “proper” notation? To give an example of what i mean:
Fgo wiki says Charisma is: “Increases party's attack for 3 turns.”
Gamepress says it’s: “Increase ATK for all allies (3 turns).”
But the actual official NA localization in game is: “Increase all allies’ ATK (3 turns)”
I try to make my fan servants look as close to genuine as possible and the biggest issue I have is how hard it is to find the proper notation for an original skill. It’s at the point where unless one exists i’ve just missed (entirely possible. Im generally an idiot.) I’m heavily considering systematically going over in game servant profiles and archiving a database of notation formulas myself. I can use Rayshift.io to search for and view profiles of servants i don’t have (but obviously I’m gonna have to wait for unique and JP only skill effects like Cu-ster’s LB6 buff)
Tumblr media
I think it might be more a matter of translation. The original Japanese text for Charisma in FGO is:
味方全体の攻撃力をアップ(3ターン)
According to google translator, the closest would be something like “Increases the attack power of all allies (3 turns) ”. Every single one of that versions is how whoever is translating that part felt would be more appropriated. Some of the FGO wiki is directly translated by the fans, either via reddit or some other source. Moreover, I also believe that sometimes the FGO NA team also makes slight corrections and adjustments in the translations.
My advice is that you analyze the meta of your OC Servant and don’t think too much about details. Again, let’s go with Charisma. According to Fate/complete material III:
Charisma (カリスマ) is a composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. A rare talent, and an ability inherent to Servants of the Saver class.
Basically, this is a skill reserved for leaders, usually for kings but some like Sakamoto Ryouma has the ability to inspire and lead groups. Is your Servant a leader or very good at inspiring people? Then perhaps they have Charisma, something that even in the real world is associated with leaders.
To make things even more confusing, each can have a slightly different flavor text added to it. Let’s pick Gilgamesh for example. He has Charisma A+, but the description for it both as an adult and for his child counterpart differs.
Often praised as the greatest king, Gilgamesh’s ability to command and lead great armies is excellent. An egotistical Gilgamesh radiating with self-confidence will surely boost the morale of his army to an extremely high level.
Archer Gilgamesh (Fate/complete material III)
Often praised as the greatest king, Gilgamesh already has an extremely high Charisma from a young age, as if it was a spell (curse).
Kid Gil (Fate/Grand Order material III — Profile of Gilgamesh (Child), translated by Kinalvin at Reddit.)
Write down the things your OC is known for. Things that made them outstanding and try to translate it into the skills. Are they nimble? Then perhaps they have one of the Mind’s Eye (true or false), and so on. Once you get that, pick the “flavor” of translation you like the most and, if you feel inclined to write even more, consider writing a more personalized version. Some people might have their own opinions about which translation is the best or more appropriate, but that isn’t a consensus and rather borderline personal taste. I personally would be inclined to go with the official NA translation, as it is the most accessible to the majority of players.
I hope this helps out. Let me know if you have some more questions or thoughts about this

Wait I thought Santa Karna was JPN only. How are you playing it in English?
There is a machine translator app for FGO JP. I’ve been using it since the summer event and it’s a ~70% good translation, but ymmv. It isn’t on the app store, and it’s android phones only, so you need to download it 3rd party (Which if you’re playing FGO JP in an English speaking country, you’re probably already doing)
Go to https://rayshift.io/, click on “Translate FGO” up top, download the .zip, and follow the instructions on the ReadMe to install.
As always, use it at your own risk. The app doesn’t modify the APK, only the cached text files, so it should be safe to use, but the chance of things going wrong is always there.

Where do you get these translations of JP FGO stuff? I assume it's a machine translation, but the text replacement seems like a whole different thing.
https://github.com/rayshift/translatefgo
it's a mobile app by rayshift.io that machine translates and replaces the scripts! it modifies cached scripts on your sd card and not the base game, it's been up for a year without any bans as a result of it but y'know, bind your account and all that
they also have some human tl done like on lb6 and old events/reruns which is generally better
Tumblr media Tumblr media
some of my favorite examples of the machine tl
but yeah check it out if you're interested, the faq by rayshift.io should answer most questions

Rayshift: Support Needed
Hey everyone, this was posted a few days ago and I thought I’d give it a signal boost. For those unaware, Rayshift is the team that makes the Magia Record English Patch. They’re responsible for putting in old NA translations back into the game, for organizing with fan translators for putting in new translations, and for other general updates such as japanese to english menu translations.
They also work on translating the Fate gacha for other languages.
I’m going to copy and paste their message and leave a link to the patreon below. I’m going to become a patreon since I love their work-- I know that not everyone can do so, but if you use the patch and have a few dollars to spare monthly, then it might be a good idea to give back. Of course, no pressure either! Reblogging this to get word out is also kind.
“Rayshift and it's associated services are not free to run - and I've been hit with a hardware failure recently that requires a fairly costly replacement. If you're able, please consider becoming a Patreon to support the site.
We have a few cool features currently planned over the next couple of months, and I would like to share them: - Login reminder: Receive alerts via discord, email, or text to remind you to login and collect your daily login bonus for both F/GO and MR if you forget. - 4K textures for F/GO: F/GO textures will be upscaled with the latest in machine learning(tm) and you can patch them using the TL app. Designed for people who record their gameplay or play on larger screens. this will be patreon only - 3 new languages for Translate/FGO: Russian, french, brazilian portuguese.  - Some experimental menu translation for MR.
And remember Patreons already get bonus features on the site, which you can read about here: https://rayshift.io/donate, as well as access to beta channels here.
A massive thank you to the past and present Patreons, for without you, this site and community would not exist. I hope you will look forward to the planned features. https://www.patreon.com/rayshift.”
As linked above, here is their patreon.
Lastly, if you weren’t aware that there is an English Patch, it’s an APK you download that has a good portion of things translated (aka stories and such). You can see a previous post I made about it here.
