Five sports, including cricket and flag football, will be included at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after receiving the approval of the International Olympic Committee.

Lacrosse, squash and baseball-softball also received the green light at an official IOC meeting in Mumbai on Monday with only two delegates voting against the five new events.

Each host city, under IOC rules, can request the inclusion of several sports for their edition of the Games.

Cricket has only appeared once at the Olympics, at the Paris Games in 1900 when Great Britain beat France by 158 runs a one-off final, but IOC president Thomas Bach said last week that the game's "growing popularity" made it an attractive proposition.

Bach said: "We are ready to welcome the world's best players of cricket to perform in the United States in 2028, while showcasing iconic American sports to the world.

"We see the growing popularity of cricket, particularly the T20 format.

"The Olympic Games will give cricket a global stage and the opportunity to grow beyond the traditional cricket countries and region.

"For the Olympic Movement, it's the opportunity to engage with fan and athlete communities to which so far we have very little or even no access."

'Olympics will accelerate rapid growth of women's cricket'

The Los Angeles Games proposal is for a six-team Twenty20 tournament for men and women.

England and Wales Cricket Board chief executive officer Richard Gould said: "It's fantastic that cricket will be included in the Olympics in 2028, putting it on one of the world's biggest sporting stages.

"This is a great opportunity to take cricket to new parts of the world, and to allow more people to develop a love for our sport.

"In particular I'm delighted that the Games will feature both men's and women's cricket, and have no doubt that featuring in the Olympics will accelerate the continuing and rapid growth of the women's game."

England fast bowler Kate Cross told Sky Sports: "When you become a cricketer, you never think you are going to become an Olympian. I think it will be great for the visibility of the game over in America, it seems to really be growing out there.

"It is giving the game a global audience. People in other countries, wherever they may be, seeing cricket on their televisions. That's where cricket needs to be - accessible and visible."

Afghanistan's head coach Jonathan Trott said cricket's inclusion at the Olympic Games will be a positive addition.

"It will give the sport worldwide exposure and it's a really exciting time to go to the Olympics," Trott said speaking to Sky Sports.

"I’m sure it would be an honour for anybody who is able to participate and it will be a real learning curve for the sport and it's players.

"To start off having six teams might be a close enough number and then we'll see how it grows. Sometimes it's about getting the format right first."

Squash and flag football set for Olympic debuts

Squash and flag football, the latter a non-contact format of American football played by teams of five, are set for their Olympic debuts in 2028.

The World Squash Federation has made several failed attempts to have the sport included, with other sports including skateboarding, surfing, and breakdancing previously preferred.

Baseball has featured in several previous Games, most recently in 2020, with softball, the women's counterpart, appearing at five editions.

Lacrosse has also been contested at five previous Games, with medals awarded in 1904 and 1908. In 1928, 1932 and 1948, it was held as a demonstration sport.

Lacrosse sixes, which features four, eight-minute quarters and is a variant of the established 10-a-side format, will take place in Los Angeles.

That version was included in last year's World Games in Alabama, with Great Britain's men's and women's teams both finishing fourth.

'Lacrosse sixes is exceptionally viewable'

England's Emma Oakley, who plays for Hawks Lacrosse Club in Richmond, west London, said: "Since the sixes game has been introduced everyone has got fully on board with it.

"It is such an exciting version of the sport, it condenses all of its best elements and it is exceptionally viewable for people who are new to lacrosse.

"As a young girl when I started in the sport I always knew lacrosse had been in the Olympics but I never dreamed it would be back, and it is lovely to have that legacy from so long ago.

"I loved the sport from the moment I started and it is great to think that along with the Lionesses and the Red Roses, who have allowed girls to see women competing on a global stage, lacrosse can become another option."

British Lacrosse chairman Leslie Rance described Olympic inclusion as a "watershed moment" for the sport in the country, saying: "We know there is a lot of work to do over the coming years, firstly to qualify for the Games and then to ensure we are prepared to compete for medals.

"But I know that our team of coaches, support staff and players are ready for the exciting challenges which lie ahead."

'Olympics will inspire millions to play flag football'

On the addition of flag football - in which players need to pull the flag off the person with the ball instead of tackling - NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said: "Congratulations to the International Federation of American Football on this landmark achievement for flag football and the global community that loves and plays our game.

"It's a tremendous honour for any athlete to represent their country at the Olympics. We have no doubt that this decision will inspire millions of young people around the world to play this game in the years ahead.

"The NFL is committed to working together to strengthen flag football's place in the Olympic movement long term."

Pierre Trochet, president of the International Federation of American Football, said: "This is a huge moment for our sport and our global American football community. We are grateful to everyone who has played a part in what has been a truly collective journey .

"We are convinced that flag football will offer an exciting new dimension to the Games - uniting them, for the first time in history, with America's number one sport in its youngest, most accessible and inclusive format.

2021 has been a simply wild ride for Wario. After 2020 brought some surprising Wario content, even with the pandemic, 2021 managed to trump that with a ton of stuff to talk about. We even got enough to be able to go month by month:

- Mario Party Superstars is released, giving us one more major dose of Wario this year. We even get a never before released Wario render from Mario Party 2, in the games' credits.

November:

- Wario himself is on the promo for the final new Spirit Board event, closing that book on a fitting note.

- A WarioWare Washi Tape Set is added to the My Nintendo rewards.

- Out of nowhere, Nintendo's Youtube accounts release a spanish version of Penny's theme from GiT, that is not in the game proper.

- The final Super Rush update introduces the All-Star Summit course and Wario & Waluigi have a section there.

December:

- WarioWare GIT recieves another Switch Home Screen article, all to itself.

- The author of Dr. Mario-kun releases the spin-off WarioWare manga on his blog to read online, for a limited time. It's been preserved.

- Nintendo releases a Ko Takeuchi christmas themed picture, with Wario, Red, Penny, Orbulon and Spitz.

And that's purely the official stuff, the fandom was no slouch either. To name some major things:

- We got the incredible Wario's Day Off animation

- A WarioWare skin mod for Friday Night Funkin'.

- Wario was released for Render96.

- The powerful Miitopia Switch Mii Maker brought us some really amazing Wario series Miis.

- Wario was featured in a lot of Smash Remix trailers.

- Wario Land 4 Parallel World was released.

- A Kat and Ana mod for Mario Kart Wii is finally being worked on.

- We got some nice WarioWare Gold and Touched sprite rip advancements

And that's on top of mountains of fan work in general. WarioWare obviously got the biggest boost, but Wario Land was no slouch either. This was actually a really good year to be a Shokora fan, given how much fan content she got and even Sal Out, Sarissa and Rudy got some really nice stuff here and there.

On a personal note, this was also a big Wario year for me in general. Thanks to my new laptop, I was finally able to delve into Brawl mods and all their beautiful Wario content and while it's true that I discover new Wario stuff all the time, this year takes the cake:

- I got my hands on lots of spanish Wario marketing material.

- I have found a lot of pre-release Wario Land, Wario's Woods and Mario & Wario stuff.

- I got a lot of Club Nintendo and Nintendo Power scans, which brought things like a in-character Wario World guide and new Wario's Woods art.

- I found out about Wario's car being in Tomodachi Life.

- I now have scans of two of the old Mario & Wario children's books.

And that's on top of other basic Wario media, like a rare WarioWare Touched wallpaper and guide exclusive Wario Land art. Lots of listing off stuff and that’s because there  really was that much here in every area.

This year is also where I brought the Wario blog to Twitter as well, to great success (and started a Shokora side-account on top) and where I finally wrote up my Source Gaming Wario article counter, which I am genuinely proud of, especially since I am seeing increasingly more people quote it.

All in all, 2021 was a spectacular Wario year and I hope at least some of that momentum carries into 2022, for his big anniversary.

It’s unlikely that the monsters attacking the fantastical land include classic kaiju from our plane of existence; that’s why these crossover cards will be included as a special promotional pack-in. The cards will not appear in draft boosters.

“Each Godzilla Monster Series card will feature a monster from the pantheon of the Godzilla franchise as a Magic card from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths,” Wizards said. “There will be a total of 16 Godzilla Series Monster cards available in English, with three more available only in Japanese.”

The special Godzilla, King of the Monsters card itself will only be available as a buy-a-box promotion at local retailers. Those retailers have been hit especially hard by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Wizards of the Coast is doing what it can to help, including a special promotion that includes Wizards Play Network affiliates in its new online version of Friday Night Magic.

Three of the cards (Heisei Godzilla, SpaceGodzilla, and King Seesar) leaked in Portuguese last week, although no one knew if they were real until now.

Crash Palace Interview: Catching Up with Dana DeLorenzo.

This interview briefly brushes over Ash vs Evil Dead and Dana’s latest projects.

Even though it has been over two years since Ash vs Evil Dead has been on the air, fans still clamor for their favorite badass, Deadite slaying heroine, Kelly Maxwell. Dana DeLorenzo, the actress behind her is equally adored and cherished by admirers of the Sam Raimi legendary horror franchise.  

So, as always, I was thrilled to speak with her about life after Ash, her latest movie, the heartwarming holiday comedy, Friendsgiving and what she has on the horizon. Welcome to the Crash Palace Interview with Dana DeLorenzo…  

The Denouement of Ash vs Evil Dead Crash Palace: Thanks for speaking with me, Dana. It’s always a pleasure. Let’s talk about life after Ash vs Evil Dead. As you know, Lee Cronin is helming the latest installment in the Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead Rise. Fans were hoping that the Ghostbeaters would be a part of that venture. While we know it is going in a different direction, do you think Kelly Maxwell could show up some time in the future?  

Dana DeLorenzo: One can dream, right? Let me take this moment, right off the bat to say something I say often because I mean it, and I can’t say it enough. People who know me know this is not fan service. I say it when I’m not doing interviews; I say it to my closest friends and my family on the regular.

I am so grateful to the fans of Ash vs Evil Dead and the Evil Dead franchise all over the world. They have truly been my Jiminy Crickets throughout this insane, bizarre year that is 2020. They have gotten me through so many of the toughest days, just by keeping the bloody love alive. With every year that passes, even though we haven’t filmed a season of the show for three years, it feels like it’s fresh because of the fans .

So, to all you Ghostbeaters out there: I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope I get to meet all of you someday. But I can’t convey enough how your passion and love of the show has gotten me through this 2020 roller coaster; thank you for keeping Kelly’s ass-kicking spirit alive! On that note, I have really missed the show, I’ve missed playing Kelly. I posted some things recently about Ash vs Evil Dead, photos I hadn’t looked at in a while. I miss it a lot. I like to keep hope alive that someday, somewhere, the Ghostbeaters will be reunited. Even just for a quick Ghostbeaters fist bump.

Is Kelly Maxwell going to show up in this film? No. I won’t say never, but from what I understand, this is an alternate universe for Evil Dead Rise, separate from Fede Alvarez’s movie with Jane Levy and it’s separate from Ash vs Evil Dead. It’s a new adventure in the Evil Dead universe. And I can’t wait to see the new blood and guts journey Lee Cronin takes us on. I would like to think in the Ghostbeaters’ universe, we’re still kicking it and we’re still fighting evil. But I am loving that the fans are clamoring for it! They can keep pestering Rob, Sam and Bruce the way they have for twenty-five years before Ash vs Evil Dead came to be — their persistence is what got me that dream job.

So, if they want to continue to pester to bring us all back, I won’t stop them! Because we know the fans have the power to persuade. It might take another twenty-five years. But I am always down to play with those guys and our great crew.  

CP: Do you keep in touch with anyone from the show?

DD: Yeah, I try and keep up with what everyone is doing and shoot them a message to tell them I miss them like the sap that I am. I just miss seeing their faces every day, you know?  I miss Lucy’s face pretty hard, and not just because she’s ‘Lucy Flawless’! She’s got new shows left and right, she never stops! Ray and I randomly text Pablo and Kelly’s catchphrases to each other. “How are you holding up? / What is happening?!” We said that pretty much every episode so it still makes me laugh. Arielle and I chat often even though she lives in Australia, she’s like my little sister! Bruce often responds “ in character” with the latest Snapchat filter. He loves those — just check his Twitter feed — and it’s all my fault. I showed him how to make them while filming Season 3. He could probably do a show solely with Snapchat characters — I’d watch.  

Fall from Perpetual Grace

CP: Let’s shift gears for a moment and talk about another series that you appeared on. You had a great run on EPIX with Perpetual Grace, LTD working with the talented Jimmi Simpson, Luis Guzman and of course, Jacki Weaver and Sir Ben Kingsley. There was some talk about a possible movie to tie up all the storylines after the show ended. Do you know if that is in the works?

DD: I have no idea, but I really hope that happens. Steven Conrad is a genius and so was that cast. If you haven’t seen or become a part of the cult following of Patriot on Amazon or Perpetual Grace, you should. But the people he casts and the stories he writes and the beauty of the cinematography, all  create a piece of art that is in its own category. He has such a strong point of view, aesthetic and vision, you always know when you’re watching a Steven Conrad show.

I’ve been very lucky to be part of two shows where both casts were like extended family. Like Luis Guzman. We  talked recently, I adore him. Side bar: I feel like in a crazy, crossover world, Luis could be Pablo’s other uncle because of his giant heart and comedic delivery. Anyway, we’re both working on my friend Joe Ahern’s indie comedy, The Disappearance of Toby Blackwood, which he co-wrote with Doug Mellard. And I can’t wait for people to see Luis slay the screen, yet again. The filming process is pretty innovative during COVID, where everyone but the two main characters filmed their parts at home using an app. These guys were doing it before anyone else, so kudos to them.  

Friendsgiving: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

CP: I had the pleasure of watching Friendsgiving the other night and it was an enjoyable holiday film. You had some hilarious bits as Kat Dennings’ wise cracking sister, Barbara. What drew you to the project?

DD: Thank you for watching the film and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It’s the kind of original comedy we all need right now.

I knew I was auditioning for Kat Dennings’ (Abby)  sister Barbara, whose part of Abby’s Jersey-Italian family. Within the first two lines of that family exchange, I was cackling. I’m drawn to anything that grabs my attention on the page and holds it for the entire sitting of reading the script. Those lines of dialogue, the way the family members are unapologetically who they are, and the fact they mean well but are constantly giving you their two cents when you don’t want it or ask for it, hooked me. And that kind of art-imitating-life comedy held up for the rest of the script for me. Nicol Paone hit it out of the park, both on the page and behind the lens. And I’m pretty sure it’s loosely based on a Thanksgiving that Nicol and Malin Ackerman shared.

The subject matter was also relatable. I’ve celebrated Thanksgiving with my family as well as a couple of Friendsgivings. And the bottom line is, the holiday is just dysfunctional, always. It might be a lot more fun with your friends but it’s still going to be dysfunctional.

That concept makes me laugh. It’s not funny when you’re the one going through the stress and drama of Thanksgiving. However, it’s very funny watching someone else go through it. It’s cathartic. That’s why I loved it.  

CP: With so many talented actors in the cast, do you have any behind the scenes anecdotes?

DD: There was a lot of laughing in between takes. It’s always a good sign when the crew laughs. Abby’s (Kat Dennings ) Jersey-Italian family was cast perfectly, and the actors were so damn funny! Rose Abdoo plays our mom, Nadya Ginsburg as Aunt Anna and Johnny Williams plays Uncle Sal. Like I said, it was already funny on the page, and Nicol being a New Jersey Italian herself really captured the essence of those family conversations. The actors brought Nicol’s words to life, and on a few takes she let us riff.  In one scene the Aunt Anna character was telling the scripted story of a sexual gesture; I remember laughing so hard at her adlibbing additional euphemisms for that particular act by referencing Italian food.

One of my favorite things Nicol did was add some of the funniest ad-libs and bloopers in the end credits. I love seeing those! Now everyone who sees the film will get to see those behind the scenes moments.  

The Show Must Go On

CP: When we were coordinating this interview, you told me that you were going into the studio to do voiceover work. Can you give us a hint about this upcoming effort?

DD: The show features a cast of familiar faces that might have worked together recently. I just realized what everyone is probably going to think when they read this.  

CP: Sorry everyone, it isn’t Ash vs Evil Dead. However, you have more work on the way. According to IMDb, you have completed a short film called PCH. What else can your fans look forward to?

DD: The Disappearance of Toby Blackwood which I mentioned before but we’re still filming that. I am so excited about this voiceover project because it’s completely original in every way, it really hasn’t been done before. And of course, Friendsgiving is out now in select theatres and VOD. It’s the perfect film to watch this Thanksgiving when we can’t celebrate as we usually do. You can laugh at the characters’ holiday drama and maybe even be grateful to take this year off.  

CP: Will you be appearing at any virtual conventions like Bruce and Ted are doing for Wizard World events?

DD: There are a couple in the works. But in the meantime, I’ve teamed up with this new platform called, Real Talk Live, which is both an app and on the web. It’s like a virtual convention where you can live video chat one on one, basically like a Zoom call. You can schedule the video call in advance or whenever catch me whenever I’m live. I think it’s a great solution, and personally I’m really looking forward to connecting with Evil Dead fans this way until live events pick back up. And it’s accessible worldwide so this will be great to finally see the amazing fans I hear from overseas. I miss interacting with them in the flesh, hearing their stories and seeing their badass cosplays! And do I miss pose-punching them in our epic photos. So I end with this, because I can’t say this enough: “Thank you, Ghostbeaters! I love you more than Ash Williams loves his Delta!”

Rewatch Mulan 2020

and upon second viewing the movie is okay. I’ll admit there are some elements that are interesting i.e the witch, some visuals are nice to look at. fight scenes the ones not slowed down were cool,  and for characters they added there’s like one that was okay. But that’s literally it

The movie lacks heart like all live action remakes before it. That’s issue with all these live action remakes expect say Jungle Book Movie 

There’s decisions made that the crew THOUGHT might been good concept but not executed right

So Mushu isn’t feature fine whatever. Instead Mulan gets red  phoenix that follows her around.  Why not make that a red dragon? Keep in mind the bird doesn’t talk so yeah this red dragon wouldn’t either. But maybe that was for the best because Lucky Cricket wasn’t in the movie ( he was replaced by a spider for matchmaking scene) and Spoiler I guess  Cricket is now a innocent kid that’s sent to the war. He’s name Cricket because his mom think he’s lucky. Which is cute I guess I did like him

Little brother the dog got turned into Mulan’s little sister. a real sister lol She like the dog is there just to be there. And matchmaking scene her, Mulan, and the mother are all together in the room, sure. Anyway sister is afraid of spiders Mulan covers the spider so sis don’t freak out she does anyway and Mulan using her Chi catches all flying teapots but whoopise hair gets in her face makes a huge mess now whole family is dishonored thus nobody wants be with the daughters. LITERATLLY  right after that scene the army shows up asking for Men to help fight. 

So you know Mulan and dad having a talk about her not being matched was okay and THEN we get the army scene well that’s reserved. So after dad says he’ll join THEN he talks to Mulan to have heart to heart. And next thing you know Mulan is in armor ready to leave. No build up of her preparing herself for ultimate risk in her life not only for her family’s sake but her well being because again she’s a woman. 

 Btw did I mention Mulan is magical from start of the movie? Because she is. And get this women that have Chi are witches but men that have Chi means they are great warriors...Ok.  ( Side note it shows Mulan did in fact were a binder to concel her breasts but she takes it off in where she shares room with 50+ men. Like there’s reasons in animated movie Mulan was kept to her when camping. Here it’s careless move on her part which I’m surprised guy didn’t wake up to see that lol)

Li Shang. He was there in two ways. There’s a commander  but then there’s new character that’s Mulan’s rival/love interest. Remember Li Shang was removed because MeToo movement which is still bullshit but alright. Anyway Diet Li shang is the rival and they attempt have him fall for Ping but try make it seem like he already knew Ping is a woman. Which I didn’t get at all. TBH he was so boring I just forgot he was in the movie like so many others. 

This movies tries to recreate bits and pieces of the animated movie and it just doesn’t work because again it lacks heart. The scene after girl worth fighting seeing the aftermath didn’t feel the same. That goes for snow scene as well which took place on flat surface and it was slightly steep hill.

Oh Shan Yu or in live action case Bori Khan, for what’s his worth he had scary moments but never truly stuck out like other Disney baddies so I’m indifferent on him either way. 

Honestly Chi idea would’ve been better use for animated Mulan ll instead of romanic drama...The reasons Mulan animated worked because it showed you didn’t need special powers especially as a woman to get shit done. Work hard and be determined that relates to many many people and Mulan 2020 missed that marked.

 4/10 Disney for love of god just think before you print out another live action remake. And god help you if you fuck up Lilo and Stitch which we know you will

Match Report: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians

What a start to the 2021 IPL season!

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians by two wickets, on the final ball of the match. Mumbai were limited to 159 by RCB and Harshal Patel (4-0-27-5), after looking like they would post a much larger total. They then failed to defend their total, due to a fantastic innings from AB de Villiers.

Early Mumbai Dominance

The match got off to a mixed start. The two Mumbai openers, Lynn and Sharma, struggled slightly in the first few overs as the pitch played both low and slow, nothing new for Chennai. Lynn then proceeded to run out his partner in the fourth over after a mix up meant Sharma had to turn around half way down the wicket and was not even in the shot when the bails were removed. Luckily for Mumbai, Lynn managed to cash in later in the innings, finishing on 49 from 35 before being caught and bowled by Washington Sundar in the thirteen over.

While at the crease, Lynn was partnered by two of the up-and-coming Indian talents: Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Yadav continued his fine form from the India vs England series, scoring 31 off 23 before being dismissed and allowing the keeper-batsman, Kishan, to run riot for the seven overs he was in the middle. Kishan was his usual destructive self and blasted 28 off 19 at a strike rate of just under 150.

RCB Comeback

Enter Harshal Patel.

135/3 was about as good as it got for the Mumbai Indians in the first innings. They then proceeded to collapse to 159/9 from their 20 overs, with none of their next six batsman passing 13. Patel ended with figures of 5/27 from his four overs and took the wickets of: Kishan, Pollard, both Pandya brothers and Jansen. This dominance ended with three wickets from four balls in the final over, while only allowing one run.

A New Top Order

RCB over the past few seasons, have had arguably the strongest top order in the history of the IPL. Gayle, Finch, Moeen Ali and AB de Villiers have all featured, not to mention their talisman and captain, Virat Kohli. However, this season seems to have brought a new era to RCB. They opened with an unorthodox partnership of Washington Sundar (an off-spinning all-rounder) and Virat Kohli (most commonly seen at number 3 in T20 cricket). 

Sundar was used as a makeshift opener as Devdutt Padikkal had not fully recovered after contracting COVID-19. I assume he was chosen to open for a few reasons: he is left handed, so could be used to counter match-ups Mumbai may have exploited if it was two right handers at the top of the order (ie. Krunal Pandya’s left arm spin); to be a surprise pinch-hitter to disrupt the bowlers plans and rhythm; and finally to allow the rest of the RCB batsmen to become accustomed to their designated spots and roles they will perform throughout the rest of the season. However, the strategy failed to pay-off, with "Washy” unable to score at a reasonable rate - stuttering to 10 from 16.

The Middle Order Cash-In

After a slow start for RCB, with none of the top three scoring at over 115, Glenn “The Big Show” Maxwell walked to the crease. He really struggled in the 2020 IPL season for Kings XI Punjab and failed to hit a six throughout the whole tournament, but he proved doubters wrong early on in his innings. Maxwell middled his third ball over point for four with a reverse sweep. A few overs later, he nailed a length ball by Krunal Pandya over long-on for six. The ball flew out of the stadium and travelled well over 100m!

Maxwell continued his form and was soon joined by AB de Villiers, who also decided to take apart the bowling attack. Combined, they hit seven fours and four sixes throughout the innings. Maxwell soon fell, however, leaving de Villiers lacking a partner to stay with him: Shahbaz, Christian and Jamieson all came and went. Luckily AB didn’t need a stable partner to blast the ball all round Chennai, ending on a spectacular 48 from 27. He guided RCB to 158/8, before he was run out with two runs needed and two balls left. 

It fell to Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj to strike the winnings runs. Siraj padded his first ball for one, before Patel flicked a yorker to Bumrah at short fine leg for a single.

Man of the Match: Harshal Patel

Although it was his single from the final ball that actually won the opening match for RCB, his five wickets for 27 runs was the real difference between the sides. In the final over, he took the wickets of the dangerous H. Pandya and Pollard in two balls and only conceded one run from the over.

Honourable Mentions:

AB de Villiers

Carried his team right to the end with a match-winning 48, but was unable to stay at the crease to hit the winning runs.

Chris Lynn

After barbequing his captain in the fourth over, he managed to take advantage of his chance at the top of the order with usual opener Quinton de Kock still in quarantine.

Marco Jansen

A solid debut where he almost managed to defend the required seven from the final over and took the wicket of the dangerous Maxwell.
