BOO!
[image description: a drawing of two original characters named rowan and gordy. rowan is a medium-skinned thin person with fluffy, brushed-back hair, a large nose, stubble, and yellow-tinted round glasses. he is wearing a yellow turtleneck, orange bellbottoms, white gloves, and black boots. gordy is a fat ghost child with pale blue skin and curly white hair. he is wearing a sailor costume and is drawn to look as though he is flat with white outlines. rowan is looking back at gordy in mild surprise in the middle of walking, and gordy is excitedly floating behind rowan and greeting him. gordy's ghostly tail is also loosely floating around rowan. end id]

my boy bojangles rly cheated death TWICE 💀 we can’t get rid of him
Lmao you’re not wrong (except we have gotten rid of him now……… oh dear)
This case was certainly a wild one, from its planning to its execution (not the death execution I mean when I started writing it lmao). I think, very early on, I had the idea of making Bojack a killer, but an actual killer to someone else. Said victim would’ve provoked him enough to the point of him getting violent (direct inspiration from s5 ep11…. Perhaps even the same method. Despite how morbid it was).
But then we changed it to a suicide. At first, we had the idea for it in chapter 3. However, I wanted to do my whole complex ‘4 person murder case where A kills C after being manipulated by B but then B gets killed by D’ plan. I was a bit unsure if I was going to be locked into trope hell because of a chapter 4 suicide, but to be fair, I’ve only really seen it done in DR1, anyway (and kiiiinda SDRA2? I forgor the details on that one).
Plus, the greatest difference anyway was the person being executed. Because if you do have a suicide, the killer’s already dead, right? But what if their specific method of death could have a chance of not working so they can come back just to be executed? Sounds insane and it is but we did it anyway.
So yeah. Imagine dying twice. Sounds so dumb it could only happen on a sitcom or something.
