Stiles is a thirty two year old omega with a successful career in runecraft. He has a two bedroom bungalow with a den filled with books that he calls a library. He has hobbies and a thriving garden, he’s the cool house that gives away full-size chocolate bars at Hallowe’en. He’s not really looking for a mate, honestly he’s more likely to join up with a pack, given his shiny magic skillset. Most of the time he’s happy. But lately, he has a problem.

Whether it’s a midlife crisis, or something in the goddamn water, his dad has become obsessed with becoming a grandpa.

The 2023 Steter Valentines Exchange collection is up, and with it, the first chapter of my gift for the fantastic @rebakitt3n.

1. Are you named after anyone?

It’s kinda weird, because it’s very close to what Z said... Officially no, but unofficially I might be named after my dad’s ex-girlfriend...

2. When was the last time you cried?

Ughhhh, maybe a week ago? I tend to bottle up until I burst, but I’m not overly emotional.

3. Do you have kids?

Big fat No. Unless you count pets (and friends/mutuals I adopted).

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Of course not, I’d never. And that my sis hates talking to me is in no way related to me using sarcasm.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Uhhhhh, no idea really. Probably something about their hair color or the clothes they wear?

6. What's your eye color?

Hazel. Sounds better in english then “piwne”, which makes me only think of beer 😅

7. Scary movie or happy ending

Scary movie. Just... no snakes.

8. Any special talents?

I guess, I’m very good at reading people? If they need support or if they wanna be left alone with no witnesses. Or I can say that my anxiety is a special talent in itself...

9. Where were you born?

Poland 😉

10. What are your hobbies?

Ohhh, I’m a nerd so video games and Marvel/DC movies. And D&D podcasts. And chinese and korean dramas, because who doesn’t like their beautiful clothes?

11. Do you have any pets?

Yes, my baby demon called Alex (Wesker). She’s a cat or a viper, depends if she’s sinking her fangs in my flesh at the moment. Yes, she’s named after a Resident Evil character.

12. What sports do you play/ have you played?

I played soccer and basketball, which is funny because I was always the shortest in PE classes. Loved both a lot, but never played in ‘real’ games.

13. How tall are you?

153 cm, which Internet tells me is about 5′01? I don’t understand inches even if they still say I’m Short.

14. Favorite subject in school?

English and History. Clinical psychology if we talking Uni.

15. Dream job?

I really want to work as a legit psychologist, who genuinely helps people. I have a MA in Psychology and I wanna use it for good. Like a goddam superhero 😅

Also, I wouldn’t mind writing and leaving on the outskirts of humanity.

“So, how did the two of you meet? He seems kind of-- intense,” Courtney says, eyeing the way Peter cuts seamlessly cuts through the crowd to get to the bar. 

Stiles laughs, feeling the good kind of buzzed. He’s having a good time tonight: his boyfriend dropped by for a surprise weekend visit, they’re hanging out with his roommates and a few of his college friends and everyone seems to be getting on well. 

He watches how the bartender bypasses a few other patrons to just serve Peter, either anticipating a tip or just to get rid of the man and yeah. Intense is a good word to describe Peter.

“We met when I was still in high school,” Stiles says. He sees that Peter is already making his way back, a tray full of drinks in hand, and he grins, “And at first? He creeped me out. I’m not gonna lie.”

Peter rolls his eyes at him even as he places the tray down and sits down in the booth next to Stiles. “That’s not a very nice thing to say, darling.” 

His fake pout makes Stiles laugh.

“It’s true though, baby,” Stiles replies, kisses Peter’s cheek to soothe the sting of his words to the chorus of his friends awwing at them. He pats Peter’s chest and directs his next words at his friends, “But he got better after a few years and we became friends.”

“Intense friends,” Peter interjects with a leer causing the whole booth to groan or laugh. 

Stiles rolls his eyes. “Not that intense. Peter was adamant I turn eighteen before any actual intense business took place,” Stiles says seriously, then grins and adds, “My dad, who’s the sheriff by the way, may have done some gun-waving to ensure that.”

He doesn’t mention that the gun-waving ended with Peter getting shot in the kneecap though. Instead, he stops whatever dirty remark Peter might make next by pulling him into a kiss.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the 2022 Steter Secret Santa!! I had such an amazing group of Santas this year. You were all absolutely lovely to work with and have created some really outstanding gifts. I can't wait to read them all!

Hi,

For the ask, how about Hannibal and Bedelia?

Oooh, this is a tough one. I definitely enjoy sticking to canon where Hannibal and Bedelia were in a relationship, but I don’t endgame them by any means, and I also didn’t think the relationship was a positive one. So I guess based on that... no, I don’t ship it.

Why don't you ship it? GOSH THIS ONE IS SO COMPLICATED. Okay, so, obviously Hannibal was not a “positive” relationship for ANYONE and he psychologically tormented both Bedelia AND Will. BUT, while he actually felt love/affection/empathy for Will, he didn’t seem to do so for Bedelia, which means that his psychological torment was purely out of sadism/boredom/rebound drama. He was mad at his ex and took it out on her, and Bedelia was both drawn to him and terrified of him.

What would have made you like it? I guess if we saw that Hannibal actually had genuine affection for her or if there was any sign that he was trying to choose between her or Will. But she was just a distraction for him, which... not a great feeling for Bedelia :(

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? I love both of them. They’re both such strong characters, and Bedelia’s ability to hold her own against him as much as she did was so impressive.
