Ugh, Pixie Faire. It’s the second night of Hanukkah, and Pixie Faire has produced a Jewish pattern under their house brand of Liberty Jane.
While kippot (yarmulkes) are not with a specially religious garments (as a tallit would be), they are worn by non-Jews a sign of respect and are often worn by observant Jews during prayer and at the synagogue.
As Pixie Faire/Liberty Jane is owned by a Christian, they never should have developed and sold this pattern. Also, they plagiarized their kippah description directly from the Wikipedia article.
If you’d like to sew your Jewish dolls and their friends a kippah (so they can wear one at your doll’s b’ mitzvah!) I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a handmade item or pattern from a Jewish person.
SewJewish has a pattern available on Etsy, as well as other doll patterns and products! Check her blog too for tutorials, sewing tips, and more. I love her doll tallit tutorial, and I used her instructions when I made my doll’s!
You can find SewJewish’s kippah pattern here.

if there’s one thing i can recommend to you if you live in a cold place it is to go on ebay (or other secondhand website) and search for a men’s quilted flannel shirt jacket situation. don’t look for any of that new shit get an old one from ozark trail or dickies or wrangler or something. get one with a hood if you can. make it oversized. you will live in this when you are sitting around your house in the winter i PROMISE! i have never purchased anything better in my life. here’s a picture of mine for you to admire

Countdown to Coven of Chaos: Day 425
Wanda: *slams newspaper on the table* “Do either of you happen to be familiar with this?”
Y/N, reading aloud: “Locals spot large swooping shapes in the night, could this be the famed cryptid mothman?”
Agatha: “MOTHMAN?! Why didn’t you tell me MOTHMAN WAS HERE?!”
Wanda: “No, look at the silhouette of the photo taken”
Y/N: “Oh no”
Wanda: “Looks suspiciously like a set or two of robes doesn’t it Agatha and Y/N? or should I say Mothman!”
Agatha: “Salem in hell”
Wanda: “I hope you’re proud of yourself for torturing the neighborhood”
Agatha: “I’ve been Mothman the WHOLE TIME and you NEVER thought to tell me?!?! Do I even know myself if I can’t recognize the Mothman in me?”
Wanda: *Hangs head in defeat*

Ohh, I also recently got this acryllic stand featuring this Fairy Tale (Red Riding Hood and the Wolf) version of Undead Unluck's Andy and Izumo Fuuko!
This is actually from a Weekly Shonen Jump blindbag acryllic stands collection that featured the cover illustrations from Weekly Shonen Jump 21-22 (2021), which was released... last year, I think? This collection is based on, you guessed it, fairy tales. You had, for example, Luffy dressed as Aladdin, Roboco as Snow White, etc, etc. These were also released in "mini" variants, but I suppose those were lottery or subscriptions related...? And are much smaller than these.
ANYWAY, I basically fell in love with this one. Especially since these are the same outfits or versions of Andy and Fuuko that were featured in Ch 39's color cover (which, instead, happens to be one of my fave color covers of the series so far...) and MAN, do I love a nice werewolf design (and it fits Andy SO WELL, I CAN'T-) And Fuuko as Red Riding Hood is nice.
That being said, GOSH, I WISH there were WSJ-related stuff like these AGES ago! There's neat older thematic cover illustrations variants from WSJ featuring their older series and I feel they would have looked SO cool in physical merch like this? Especially when I am more familiar with some of their older series that have finished in the past few years :').
Here it is with my other couple of acryllic stands of Mage (I wish he had more meat on his bones, but this was from those CG profiles from the Dandevi PSVita game) and MeiRitsu (this one actually featuring art by @/kuroztonbi)

ive been playing thousand year old vampire in my spare time and it's so good. my girl is named estrid svalfidottir, she was a viking shipwright from the far north of norway in ~950 or so, now i'm in about the 1500s and she's the navigator for a pirate ship called the hanged swan where she's slowly accidentally driven the captain/her lover to madness.
it's definitely on the more 'advanced' side for a solo journaling game - there's quite a bit to track and it took me a bit to figure out a system for doing it in a journal, but it's SO fun. im putting how i use a journal for it here in case anyone wants ideas:
i have two parts to each entry, which are numbered as "Entry # (Prompt # (2/3 if ive landed on it multiple times). the two parts are the written journal entry (im playing long-style) and then a summary experience that i code with the memory symbol and the number of the experience. i cross out the number when it's been forgotten.
i have a key that i use for experiences/memories: each symbol is a memory, and each tally mark is for an experience. once i move it into a journal, i put a 'J' underneath the symbol (and number the journal, im only on 2)
for diaries, i indicate which memories are in them, and then grab the entry numbers for that memory for easy reference
im not going to put pictures of my lists of characters and resources and skills and shit but i have a dedicated page for each of those - it seems to be enough space, i know im coming up on the end of the prompts (i'm at 62...my last few i've rolled high) [ids in alt]

There's something really funny but also really sad about Yukio canonically enjoying horror manga. It's sad because you can assume that he might find comfort in a genre like that, as the terrifying, otherworldly shit depicted in story collections like "Crushed" or "Fuan no Tane" are kinda just exaggerated versions of his reality, and seeing your own experiences lived through by characters just as helpless and scared as you feel, in a manner that is almost unquestioning of these monsters, who exist as they are with no real explanation as to why or how can be cathartic, as I imagine it is for him.
But it's also funny because imagine being Rin and seeing your shy stick-and-the-mud brother peacefully reading a book and at first you're like "ha what a nerd" and then you look over his shoulder and you see this shit
