ATTENTION ROMANTICS, JANEITES, BYRONISTS, GEORGIANS, & OTHER 19TH CENTURY NERDS!
this website jane austen's music has resources all about the music jane austen composed by hand, like a link to this song captivity.
this website romantic-era songs has recordings of a bunch of music that was popular in the romantic era, including recordings of poetic works that were originally intended to be set to music. examples incl. lord byron's famous poems vision of belshazzar (a real banger!) & she walks in beauty (not what i expected having read it beforehand without it's music, but it was byron's own favorite to listen to). i really love this one the waters of elle by lady caroline lamb, also composed by isaac nathan. he was a famous jewish-english musician who later relocated to australia and introduced classical music there, & is thus sometimes called "the father of australian music" (apparently, according to his wiki, he was also the first person in the southern hemisphere to die in a tram incident after he got there... oddly specific factoid, but alright).
Hi! While I will absolutely keep posting my recordings here, I also just started a YouTube channel because diversity is good, so… here the first one I posted.

I’ll be uploading the rest of my “catalog” every week or so, so feel free to subscribe there!
Tae is interviewed for THE TIME. He mentions that he shared the idea of “Slow Dancing” (the main title track of his solo debut album “Layover”) with Jungkook, and recorded it at his home.
This isn’t the first time during “Layover” promos that Tae has given “Jungkook” credit. Far from it!😀During his Spotify interview (released September 8, 2023), Tae shared that Jungkook helped with the directing.
I will never stop gushing about how sweet it is that Tae and Jk share their work with each other first. This is incredibly meaningful and significant. They value each other’s feedback, and it shows (again) how close they are and that they’re incredibly supportive of one another.
Ah! Got it to work with me! Finally! Hello everyone! You’ll have to excuse me hijacking Mr. Parker’s funny little device for a moment, I just couldn’t help myself! Not sure who exactly I’m talking to here, but I’ll be more than willing to divulge a bit about myself here!
I’m Dr. Olivia Octavius. I’m primarily a genetic engineer, occasionally I’m inventor, and now, I’m the leading expert on plasmids (as most of my colleagues are dead now, sadly)!
Though my research has been stalled following the complete and utter societal collapse of Rapture, I won’t let that stop me. I had to put up with a lot just to even become a geneticist in the first place, I can certainly survive (failed) attempts on my life.
Anyway, enough about that, I’m open to questions for a while, and I’m sure Percy is busy now anyway! Hopefully he won’t mind too much. And, I’m open for discussion on anything really. I don’t get many opportunities to have actual conversations with people who aren’t spliced up.. so this is nice change of pace for me, you see.
are there any videos of rory storm and the hurricanes?
There is only one known video of Rory Storm and the Hurricanes available on youtube (filmed in 1963) which you can watch here.
However! There are some great recordings of the band, most notably is this video: https://youtu.be/TxQTr5nUAXQ?si=mfMnuobuuR2qWS_T of their live performance in 1960. (for those of you that would like to hear Ringo play with them, unfortunately this won't be the video! According to Johnny Guitar's diary, Ringo was ill and did not attend this concert.

(Rory says during this concert that they are at Bultins. In Johnny's diary from March of 1960, he says they are at the Jive Hive.)
Johnny Guitar had his own life performance in 1995, it's a cute watch and I suggest it. "[Rory] is probably up there now, having a good laugh of us here this afternoon..." https://youtu.be/o-6bEGsZPI8?si=OU8QkdmWwucjwgZU
I know for a fact there are some recorded interviews with Johnny within Rory Storm documentaries, but these are the surviving and released recordings (that I know of) from the band itself.
I’ve been bad at keeping up with announcing my recent audio releases and re-releases… Here’s me rectifying that! 😂
Enjoy exploring these fresh new recordings on your favorite streaming or other music platforms. Just click on the blog post for the full list of available listening places:
Meanwhile, here are just a few right now on SoundCloud…

Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari Their book is a profound and careful interrogation of what it might mean to be a 'friend of wisdom', but it is also a devastating attack on the sterility of what has become, when 'the only events are exhibitions and the only concepts are products which can be sold'.
