I deeply apologize to the quilting community, my post should not have come out of drafts like that.
Long story short, I intended on a much more humorous tone that failed due to edits not being saved correctly (thanks tumblr, luv ya) and coming off as an angry punch to the face. No offense was intended but it sure did read as offensive. There's no way to redeem the mess that ended up being released so I removed it. That straight up came off as bully behavior and that's not me.
I will, however, try to make the point again that this might not be an ADHD-friendly craft. It sure isn't friendly to me as someone with ADHD. It's the kind of trap for me that I get too emotionally invested in it and perfectionist about it, then I start judging my work against the much more fancy work on social media, then I feel I've put too much time and money into an "ugly, scrappy blanket". Not to mention that quilting shows and videos will have you believe you need a lot more products to start than you actually need, and lord knows it's too tempting to have "all the toys". So it's not the calming craft I thought it to be due to my ADHD-related restlessness and "shiny object syndrome", and I would warn others like me to ground yourself before starting because you will end up with a frustrating mess if you jump in the deep end because you're too excited.
But I will see this trainwreck of a project through. I have a lot of waste fabric from ruined bedsheets because I can't sleep restfully, and I don't want to further waste the fabrics.
Again, I sincerely apologize for what I published.

Saw that one denim hip pouch you made, the mcmurder one. Cool as shit! Going to see if I could make one kinda like that out of some old really ripped jeans I have just dying in a closet right now.

Excellent, glad to be an inspiration! It was pretty simple to make using sleeves I removed to make vests. It would totally work with old pant legs!
I turned the old jacket sleeve inside out, stitched across 1 end to make a bottom, attached a simple button closure on top, a chunk of leftover denim to make an inside pocket and used old belt loops on the back. Adorned with patches, buttons and metal. Sprinkled bleach on a few for more character. #10 crochet thread, always.
Here's some of the others I did for more examples/inspiration. Used old pant seams on another to make loops and attached carabiners afterwards.

This year's secret santa gift. Thrifted a leather jacket, ripped out the lining, and put in this classic horror movie fabric that I found on Etsy. My friend designed a custom clothing tag for me.
