redesigns for pink diamond and rose quartz!!

pink diamond was created when white cast away most of her magenta light and her legs. pink diamond incubated in homeworld, conceived at the same time as blue and yellow but she emerged late and overcooked, lending to her small size and extreme, condensed power. she is the only other diamond aside from white with pure white pupils.

what appear to be white tights are actually white diamond's legs. as rose quartz, she shapeshifted away the six fingers that identified her as a diamond and while she could not hide the marks white left on her body, she changed their appearance to be thorns. i personally love pink/rose's forms in canon but i wanted to give them something extra; with pink, i love her clown theme and wanted to push into it more. and with rose, i wanted her to look more war-ready and messier, hence the messy curls and flowers in her hair. her feet also look dirty, although they aren't- that's how she reformed.

also, pink's halo is broken and uneven.

I am not a hater of Garnet's final design however I also think it doesn't quite fit with everyone elses so here's a random Garnet redesign

I think this could use some modifications it feels like it's missing smth and the colours ended up a bit dull but the idea was to go more modern and casual like everyone else's designs whilst making sure she stands out a little as the leader of the crystal gems hence the gold details and not going too human. Also I wanted to experiment with her hair a little whilst still keeping it as an afro since I feel like ppl tend to make her hair a little looser in texture when they give her a new style and I didn't wanna do that.

blue and yellow were born when white cast away all of her cyan and yellow light, as well as one of her two pairs of arms. blue diamond's left arm belonged to white, just like yellow's right arm did.

for blue i wanted to go with a more heavy, somber, draped look while trying to lean into the water theme i gave her, hence her lines, like the ripple of water. as yellow is in charge of most of the gem army, i wanted to give her an outfit that really made her feel more militarian. all of my diamonds have six fingers (but i draw four fingered hands)
