Hiya! My studyblr is @redlitmusbluelitmus! For my memory, my classmates and I would skip class to go spend time in the library 😂 we'd allot subjects to each other and we'd have to make notes for the topic we were doing in class. We'd discuss them the next day! It was honestly so fun and I miss my classmates so so much! 😔 Congrats so much on 10k, you deserve it and more!!!! 💞

1. Who are you named after? my first name is just a name my parents like but my middle name is actually a family name on both my mum and dad’s side (it is part of my mum’s name and was my paternal great-grandma’s name)

3. Do you like your handwriting? i used to hate it but now i feel much better about it (i did a post a while ago about it)

what are the three things you're proud of?

•my mental health got better! that is a huge achivement for me I struggled for two years badly and it affected me in the worst terms it could but now I'm recovering and I'm really happy that I'm able to make even the slightest difference

•my progress on this community!! I'm really proud to say that I'm a part of studyblr I have met beautiful people on here and made really good frends to whom I can reach out anytime without any hesitation!!

•my hardwork-ing nature , as in the year 2020 it's not the best but I'm kinda proud of myself that I'm still going like online school is like straight up bullying but I'm keeping my grades consistent and hopefully I'll get them up!

what are the three things about yourself you love?

•my dedication, ik what I what in life and how to get it I love how passionate I'm about my dreams!

•my ability to feel things v deeply, it is however both a blessing and a curse but I'm really happy I can understand and feel the emotions of others in their words

•that I don't judge. i often find myself thinking about this issue, as someone who lives in a very toxic and judgemental society I think some part of it comes into me, and that is wrong! now I'm very happy that I have unlearned it, it makes me feel like a better person and inshallah I'll continue to improve myself!

what are the three things that inspire you?

•this community: also push me to do more and the whole concept of romanticising study helps me a lot

•my family and friend: my parents always have supported my dreams and they really inspire me to do the best I can! (as for frens I only have only have online frens lol)

•my dreams, I simply want to do medical there's nothing very new in that but it's a great position to be as it will allow me to help people :)

get to know me (academic TAG - maybe yes? idk?)

soooo... I reached 10k some weeks ago but I've never properly celebrated it because (lack of motivation, busy bee, etc.)

i thought it is time for you guys, mutuals and all to get to know me a bit better and i created a few questions that you guys can use as a tag, if you want.

what is/was your favorite subject? this was in high school because i didn't have any favorite in uni, but I loved English (as a second language) because I was good at it and Portuguese because my teacher was cool and it was a vibe I guess

what is your dream degree? In hs, my dream was to go to film school and I did go. now I can say it was more nightmare than a sweet dream, and now i'm dreaming of taking a language degree (and that it won't be a nightmare too pretty please)

what is and did you get into your first choice of uni/college? if you haven't, what were you alternatives? (or if you're still in HS, what are your options?) my first option was the only film school in the country and i had to do a bunch of tests to get in because it's an artistic school or wtv. i got in somehow.

are/were you an extracurricular student? i really wasn't as I barely had any friends anyway. I did swimming classes for one term once and I just went to Portuguese tutoring classes to prepare better for our national exam.

was there an essay or project you did for school that you loved to do and stuck with you? i wrote an essay on movie franchises and their planning. for example, how star wars became a franchise even though it was not meant to be one initialy and how marvel worked from the first iron man to build a continuous story that is lasting successfully for over a decade. honestly, i loved this concept so much, i wish i could do a new one, now that i'm more confident, preferably with a better, less intimidating teacher

what did you do to relax from studying and school stress? when i was in high school, i watched so many tv shows and i also wrote a lot as well as made a voiceover series on youtube and all. it made me so complete to write characters and give them a life and a plot and all. i also played guitar and wrote songs, both in uni and hs, as it made me feel a lot better.

what are your academic goals for the future? my plan is to enroll in a language program in uni next year (because i didn't make it this year) and just have a real academic experience in a real university. i want to meet new people and be able to express myself and just learn. JUST LEARN for the sake of it, and not because i want a job out of it or anything. i just want to live in an academic environment again :)

It has been three years since I started this blog and I never could have imagined hoe far this blog would come. Over the course of these three years, I have definitely changed my academic direction several times and I am in a bit of a weird gap year situation right now, even with this thank you for having this crazy academic journey with me. I am really grateful for the support of the studyblr community and everyone is a great source of motivation for me. I just hope that over these three years, I was able to help you guys too. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Due to my hectic schedule, I am only able to propose two very common activities and I’ll officially do the celebration this weekend (October 2-3)
