How to get the Regi Trio in Pokemon Fool's Gold

First, obtain Exploud, Spinda, and Volbeat. Their locations are easy to obtain via Fool's Gold documentation here: https://foolsgold.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page

For Regirock:

Put Exploud as first pokemon in your party. Go to the desert area. With the correct pokemon in slot 1, there will be a cave about 1/2 way through route 50.

For Regice:

Put Volbeat in your first party slot, go to Lake of Rage. Surf north, you can't miss it.

For Registeel:

Put Spinda in the first slot of your party. Go to Mount Moon Square (area with the gift shop, most guides for GSC have maps if you need help). Walk left until you find a cave.

Regirock - Poké Ball

There wasn't really anything that matched Regirock's colors, the Poké Ball was the closest I could really get because while Regirock technically isn't Red, he is partially a warm color close to Red. And the stone Grey may as well be the White of the Poké Ball's lower half.

Regice - Great Ball

In hindsight, I should have grabbed more Dive Balls and put Regice in one of those, it being all Blue and White, a good substitute combination for this Ice-Type Pokémon. At the time however, I didn't really have the patience to go out and get Dive Balls, so I settled for the closest thing to that, a Great Ball, since it too is mostly Blue and White, though the Red crests don't really pertain at all to Regice.

Registeel - Timer Ball

I thought Timer was the best choice for Registeel, since the ball has all the main colors, Red, White, and Black.

Latias - Poké Ball

I could have gone for Great Ball since Latias does have a Blue triangle on her belly to reflect Latios's Red triangle, but the Poké Ball seemed more appropriate for Latias since Latias is primarily Red and White. And besides-

Latios - Great Ball

I had already given the Great Ball to Latios, a perfect match. Mostly Blue and White, with Red crests to serve as a smaller detail much like Latios's Red triangle.

Groudon - Poké Ball

I was divided between Poké Ball and Repeat Ball for Groudon, because with Repeat Ball, it had the Black circles to match all the crop circle style fault lines making up Groudon's inner section, and the Yellow rings around those Black circles reflect Groudon's eyes. Ultimately I decided on the standard Poké Ball since Groudon primarily has Red and White, Red for all the armor plating that makes up most of its body, and White for all the claws and spikes that Groudon has lined across it. The Black line across the equator of the ball serves just fine to represent Groudon's fault lines.

Kyogre - Great Ball

Once again, the Great Ball is a perfect match, the Blue and White base body colors, and you have the Red crests to be like Kyogre's Red lines.

Rayquaza - Nest Ball

This was a tricky one. Between the best candidates, Nest Ball and Dusk Ball, I went with Nest because Rayquaza's Green body armor and Yellow lines and circles were more prominent than the Black lines in-between the armor.

The beginning of Citadel DLC is really funny in his canon because Regis absolutely hates fish in all forms, as pets, as food, whatever. I think I've mentioned this in one of my fics, but it's just one of his quirks.

He never buys any fish, hates the fishtank in his quarters, and seeing the email from Joker about meeting at Ryuusei is kind of like a major insult. In my canon, Regis and Joker mutually tolerate each other at best, but they are mostly antagonistic towards each other throughout canon.

I've written a few dialogue snippets under the cut about this too, taking place in the same universe as the Citadel Epilogue Mod :) (aka the Citadel DLC happens post-war).

"I'm going to murder him," Regis said, flopping back down on the couch. "What the hell is this?"

Zaeed looked over his shoulder, squinting his eyes at the omnitool. "Are you sure it's from him?"

"I've scanned it, ran it through my filters. Do you want me to message my friend in infosec? It's legit," he replied. "I've already looked up the place. It's a fucking fish tank that only serves sushi and seafood. I'll pass."

"Joker's an ass, but he's not an idiot," Kaidan said. Fair point to make. Moreau values his life over jokes when it comes to Regis. Most of the time. "Want us to go with you?"

"I might need some material witnesses, but I'd argue you're both too damn biased to be any use," Regis said, turning to kiss Kaidan on the cheek. "I appreciate the offer, though."

"That's what Spectre authorizations are for, right? Abuse your goddamn power. Wipe your slate clean," Zaeed chuckled. "So, are you going to go?"

"Might as well. What's the worst that could happen?"

"I could think of a few things," Kaidan said, furrowing his eyebrows. "You just jinxed us."

Regis rolled his eyes. "Just be on standby, loves. Hell, why did this place highly recommend formal wear? I rather not waste one of my suits on Moreau."

"Think of you wearing one of those suits as something we can take off of you later," Zaeed said, leaning over the couch to whisper in his ear.

Regis smirked, pulling him in for a kiss. "You have good ideas, Massani. Fine, I'll wear one of my suits. But not my nicest one."

He got up from the couch. "I'll be back. Don't follow me, because I know damn well you'll make me late."

"What? We would never," Kaidan replied, laying his hand on his chest in mock offense.

Regis walked backwards to the stairs. "Bullshit. I can see you two already scheming."

"Only about tonight, baby," Zaeed said, curling up next to Kaidan. "We would never sabotage an important meeting."

Regis stopped at the stairwell, a hand on the railing. He glared at them with narrowed eyes. "Sure," he said, drawing out the word. "And I'm definitely straight."

Grumpy Libertus at your service. My man there is a moody. Would be snappy at everyone in  5 kilometer radius. ( Tredd gets the most shit, cuz he likes to play with fire) Complains even more on food, weather, nobles. (Cuss all of them in Galadh) Folds his arms around his chest, glares so much! (Smooth those wrinkles from his face)  Squad has enough, throws him your way quite literally when they see you. (”It´s your problem now!” yells Crowe, yeets Libertus into your arms)

Wrap yourself around him and don't let go! (Man´s warm and plushy, so it´s deal) Mumbles into your neck that everyone is stupid.(We know Libertus, we know) Scratch his scalp down to his neck. Rebraid his hair (You and Crowe have this exclusive privilege, use it wisely) Kiss those tattoos, he´s proud of his heritage as Galadhian. Shut him up with pecks on lips. (Wants to said something kiss, starts to protest kiss “ Lib, staye quiet and I will kiss you to your hearth content.”“Promise, love?” “Of course, my teddy bear”) It may sound unusual but Lib is big fan of belly rubs (belly scratching, if you will). There is the feeling of domesticity of which he can´t get enough, also your touch is intoxicating. My friends to make this proud man stumble over his words and be tender: speak to him in Galadhian, even better tell him that you love him! (His jaw hangs open, pupils dilated. Swear his whole face is getting pinkish) You just made him the proudest and luckiest man on Eos! Expect homemade galahd style dinner and something little extra ;)

Badass kicking headmage Crowe Altius has graced us with her presence! For the record, she´s not needy you´re needy! ( You know Lib and Nyx won´t let her live it down) After herding her mages and yelling at Nyx and Libertus for their shenaningas, she will corner you in one of the hallways. Her hands cares your sides, kissing you hungrily. Sadly there´s not enough time, so you part your ways with promise to meet at home. (She´s more action driven person as you can see)

My dears, the second you walk into your shared space, she pounces on you. You will end up in bed with Crowe cuddling on top of you. She adores the closeness, your warm enveloping her like a blanket. In your embrace Crowe feels serene and whole. (You´re what´s makes her want to survive this crazy war) When she takes her hair down, brush it for her! (Crowe will even let you style it)  Shower her with kisses on her clevage, arms, neck just everywhere. The giggles she makes are adorable! (And will return it tenfold back) Gaze longinly into her chocolate eyes, take her hands into yours and kiss her knucles. THIS!  For Crowe this is such soft and pure act of intimacy that should be cherished in the harsh world. Softly hums to her, and draw ornaments on her back, Crowe will doze off on you. (dreaming of life with you and her friends) If you pinch her sides prepare for pillowfight :*
