#i Do Not know the structure of a forest service office. i do not know who works there. i dont know how many people work there. #i dont know what paperwork they store there and what goes to regional offices. i dont know Anything #i'm guessing there's like.... #a receptionist. perhaps someone for admin and payroll and books? typical office-keeping jobs? probably more than one person #and then i assume that theres some. management structure? do rangers ever have offices? or office space? or are they mainly in the field... #my one point of reference is when i worked for a city health dept and that's like. not really a great reference LOL #now i can guess at how the agency operates at the regional level #it's the tiny individual offices for each natl forest i dont know about #shoshone has like. 3?

When you tell your manager you know they want to make you team lead and you’re cool with that and the responsibilities but there’s too much stress on yourself right now and so I vented about all the shit heaped on me atm and she said “ash once your supervisor is back we’re all gonna sit around and discuss this because even once you’re promoted you should never be expected to handle this much responsibility”

#it’s not even my supervisors fault… an emergency happened so he’s OOO #but since he’s not here nobody does their fucking jobs #and our regional manager is coming in tomorrow so we NEED to get them done so it’s up to me and my one ride or die coworker #PLUS I have to answer all of my supervisor’s emails and make phone calls!!! #AND one coworker won’t even try to figure out how to use one of our apps and makes ME do all of his shit for him #get the fuck over yourself!!!!

they scolded me at work today because the pressure got to me and I have trouble hiding my anger behind a facade of complacency when I am hurty and tired so I'm doing my job looking like a chimp that just got pepper sprayed, surpassing quota and maintaining safety measures regardless I just look mega pissed the whole time, but they just had to take me aside and say "well that's not a very becoming attitude for someone trying to get promoted to display" 🤷I won't crimp their throat in my jaws for saying that but it reminded me that I am unpalatable to employers in my natural state and made me wistful for living on a goat farm

#pretty sure they blacklisted me for promotions at some point anyway #bc I mouthed off at the region manager #so I usually just apply for promotions to piss in the wind #job is toughies on me sometimes #also the fema alarm woke me up when I fell asleep after work

If I say this enough it will speak it into existence: being a Pokémon master does not have to mean being the strongest battler. I’m sure being a strong battler comes with the territory but there are still regions Ash hasn’t been to and Pokémon he hasn’t met. He’s going to keep traveling until he’s seen them all.

Anyways speaking of clothes im always on the hunt for a really thick cardigan to wear at work cause im freezing cold in the summer, winter is hell, and my job doesnt allow anything but cardigans cause we can't have zippers for who the hell knows why and i've come to the conclusion im simply gonna have to make one myself
