Delicate, Chapter Five: Party in the USA…at Potter Manor? (Narcissa’s Version)
second half of the party!! narcissa+reg bonding, sisterly problems, messy alicissa! hope you like it <3
< prev chapter next chapter >
When at a party there are many old friends one hasn’t seen in ages, the risk is getting stuck in a tumultuous cycle of recognition, surprise, light chitchat and (empty) promises of keeping in touch. This is the mechanism that led Narcissa to lose Mary after barely fifteen minutes into the Potter’s house, or, more precisely, their royal castle. And mind you, Narcissa was used to big, luxurious houses.
She had just caught a glimpse of Mary, sitting on a sofa in the corner of the living room between Zabini’s girl and Marlene McKinnon, when she got up and went to the kitchen with the blonde and Lily.
Considering everything, the kitchen was still forbidden territory, and Narcissa wasn’t going to risk another encounter with Alice in front of everyone so soon.
One good thing about the whole small-talk-with-acquaintances routine was that it required incredible memory and ability to make plausible shit up to keep the conversations going, and the mental exercise was hard enough for Narcissa to not focus on the raging burning of all her blood vessels caused by her lovely ex-schoolmate (schoolmate? Who was she kidding?) that, for the record, happened almost two hours earlier. If Narcissa stopped babbling to strangers, she’d have to face the fact she was being blatantly ignored by Alice.
How fucking dare she.
Narcissa was ready for a fight.
She had never been an optimistic person, so she hadn’t hoped for a pacific reunion with Alice, but this childish indifference was beyond what she could allow. She could say it’s because they’re both adults, and needed to face their problems like such, but really, Narcissa just hated being ignored.
By Alice.
Especially by Alice.
Maybe because she was the first one to see her when everyone else was just looking. Beyond the snotty attitude, the prestigious family, the posh accent, Alice saw something Narcissa didn’t even know was there.
Okay, so maybe Alice hated her. Fine, Narcissa couldn’t blame her, but the silent treatment? Really? After everything?
The lack of people to talk to was slowly leaving Narcissa to her own thoughts, which was evidently not a good sign.
She needed a distraction. Drama. Theatrics.
It was time to say hello to her beloved cousins.
“Is there space for me?” she asked, standing in front of the sofa where Dorcas, Sirius, James and Peter were lounging, the girl mildly enraged, the three boys pleasurably sloshed.
Sirius’ eyes lit up, and he immediately made a show of getting up, arms wide, and hugged her tightly. Narcissa reciprocated awkwardly: the last time she saw Sirius, she was still working with her parents, and her cousin had always been resentful of her, blatantly preferring Andromeda’s company. Narcissa guessed he was more mad at their family’s business rather than her personally, so maybe he was being so friendly because she had left.
Or because of the alcohol.
“Took you long enough! We missed you, Cissaaaaa~”
Probably because of the alcohol.
“I missed you, too Sirius,” she patted his shoulder, breaking the hug.
She sat between him and Dorcas, and smirked at Regulus, on the armchair in front of her.
“How’s your girlfriend, Reggie?” she taunted him, glancing the girl asleep at his feet.
“Get lost,” he answered, but a smile was tugging at the corner of his lips.
“How’s yours?”
“Oh, fuck off,” she groaned.
One summer, years before, Regulus had walked in on Narcissa pacing her room like mad, losing her mind over a letter Alice had sent her at the end of the school year (because of course she liked that sort of thing, messages or emails were too banal for her, the romantic sod). Everything had been meticulously organized, the delivery kept secret from her parents, and then Narcissa had been caught by her little cousin because she couldn’t be normal about a letter from her ‘friend’.
She had thrown everything in a drawer and sat on her bed, Regulus following suit.
“What’s wrong, Cissa?”
“Nothing, Reggie, I just received a letter from a friend-“
“A letter?” he asked, eyes wide. At this day and age?
“Yes, well…” she laughed, embarrassed, “She’s a bit old-fashioned.” (She was absolutely not.) “Did you need anything?”
But Regulus kept quiet, staring at his lap.
“Did you know some male celebrities had relationships with other males?”
Oh, Narcissa was going to be sick.
“It goes for other males, too, not just celebrities,” he clarified, his cheeks getting as red as apples.
“Wh-Who told you about this?” Narcissa asked, trying to sound as neutral as possible and probably failing. Their family wasn’t progressive at all, and Regulus wasn’t much more than a kid, so she wanted to know if he was genuinely curious about the matter or if he was about to unknowingly insult her.
“I can’t say!” He exclaimed, panicked.
Sirius, then.
“Okay…How do you feel about it?” she tried, still as diplomatically as possible.
“I don’t know…I know Mother and Father are against it, but I’m not sure why. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, though. Personally,” he raised his palms almost as an excuse, “I’ve never been in love.”
Narcissa couldn’t help but chuckle at Regulus’ self-assigned distance from the matter. “But art often portrays love, and it comes in many different ways,” he continued, innocently. “So it’s not that weird if it’s shared between two people of the same sex?”
“Seems to me like you have it figured out,” she commented, smiling softly. “They don’t do anything wrong,” ‘We aren’t doing anything wrong’ “But I have to warn you, your parents will disagree.”
Regulus nodded. “I’ll keep my mouth shut with them.”
How sad. How incredibly, inevitably sad.
Narcissa was a lot like him: a spirit of preservation stronger than her morals. That’s what made the two of them so different from Andromeda and Sirius, who’d prefer a clear conscience and bloody wounds, rather than the safety that hypocrisy could offer them.
“Who was the letter from?” Regulus asked.
“Told you, just a friend from school.”
“Who got you walking around your bedroom like the Phantom at the Opera,” he countered raising a dark eyebrow.
Oh, he was going to grow into an insufferable teen. She couldn’t wait.
But now, Narcissa had two options: completely ignore the whole talk they had just had and deny everything (safe, hypocritical), or admit-
“You have a crush on her.”
Fuck it.
Narcissa told him everything. From her encounter with Alice, to the interest disguised as repulsion, to the sweet, lovey dovey details that made Regulus scrunch his nose in childish disgust. And when she spoke, Narcissa realised with stupor that the words took shapes and colours she wasn’t aware they could.
Narcissa was capable beauty of her own creation.
Then, years later, Regulus causally came to her room one day complaining about a boy he was seeing like it was nothing, and it made her heart warm. They had created a safe space that survived even after Sirius ran away, dying only when Regulus himself left, a few years later. The two of them kept in touch after her own escape, but they didn’t talk as much as they used to.
“You like girls?” Sirius asked shocked, bringing her back to reality. Regulus bursted into laughter.
“I’ve been out for years, Sirius,” Narcissa answered flatly.
“You’ve never had an official girlfriend, I couldn’t be sure!”
“Oh my God, Sirius, don’t be homophobic!” Peter swatted him in the head.
“So you’re the Narcissa Black,” called a voice from her left, and she had to lean over Dorcas (“I’m sorry love, you’re gorgeous by the way”) to see that it belonged to a handsome young man sitting on the ground. She wondered how such a tall person could almost hide behind the armrest of a sofa.
“The one and only. And you are?”
“Remus Lupin. I’m Peter’s bassist. It’s an honour to meet you,” he shook her hand.
“You look dangerous, Lupin. It’s charming.”
“Hands off, Cissa,” said Regulus, “Sirius already called dibs on him.”
“When did you learn to be such a asshole?” his brother replied, rolling his eyes.
“It was for a role,” Regulus answered, buried in the leather armchair.
“I’m not interested, just stating a fact.” Narcissa shrugged.
“Besides, if Sirius had to be jealous of anyone here, it should be me,” stated Peter smugly, “Since I’ve already kissed Remus. On the mouth. During a live show.”
“I’m not jealous of anyone,” protested Sirius. Liar. He was seething.
“Anything to say, Remus?” intervened James.
“Peter kisses all his friends, it’s a rite of passage. Even you and Sirius did it, he told me,” Remus replied nonchalantly.
“Enough with the petty fighting,” said Dorcas. “James, Sirius. Weren’t you going to recreate that one scene from Dirty Dancing?”
Oh, what had Narcissa walked into?
“Sirius.”
“James.”
“If I have to be subjected to that one more time,” commented Peter, “I’ll have to get more champagne. Excuse me-”
He got up while Sirius and James started making space around them. Dorcas pulled out her phone and exchanged seats with Regulus for a better view.
“It’s not much of a show,” he whispered, next to her. “They’re just being idiots.”
“Try sounding less fond, when you say it.”
“I’m not fond.”
“Mhm. It’s good to see you don’t hate Potter anymore,” she commented.
“I never hated him. But that doesn’t mean that I can stand the guy.” A bit confused, her little Reggie, but Narcissa didn’t pry.
The whole room was watching Sirius and James being embarrassments to themselves, drunkenly spinning around the room and shaking their heads while singing. They had learnt the choreography well, though, if they could perform it in that state.
“Sirius is playing Baby?” asked Remus.
“Potter has enough strength in his arms to hold him for the final move,” Regulus explained, like he had seen this show a thousand times.
“What would you know about Potter’s arms?” Narcissa teased.
“I saw the attempts with the roles reversed. I’m surprised Potter didn’t end up at the hospital with a concussion.”
Everyone was still watching Sirius and James dancing when Peter came back. He had brought a glass of champagne for Regulus, too.
“Oh, we’re almost done,” he commented, sitting next to Narcissa.
“Apparently. Did you go to the kitchen to get those?” she asked.
“No, I picked them from a trail. Do you want one?”
“No, thank you,” I just wanted to know where the fuck is Alice Fortescue. “Mary and Lily are still there, right?”
“Alice too, I think,” commented Regulus glancing at her. Telepathic little shit.
And that’s when Sirius threw himself at James: a couple of screamed curses were involved and the form wasn’t at all perfect, but everyone felt the need to applaude the performance. The two clowns even bowed, showering in the attention.
Then, out of the corner of her eye, Narcissa finally saw Mary and Lily leaving the kitchen, arm in arm. Smiling. Looking all sweet and cute. If that was the direction things were taking, well…it was time to have a little chat with Evans.
Just as she was getting up from the sofa, though, Regulus grabbed her wrist.
“I wanted to tell you something, Cissa,” he whispered, serious, “It’s about Bella.”
Narcissa immediately sat down.
“She’s getting married. Soon. They’ve tried to keep it hidden, but rumours spread fast.”
Narcissa’s head was suddenly spinning like a top. Bella always said she’d never marry, and yes, they were still young when they used to talk about marriages and growing up, but…she would have invited her sister, right? It couldn’t be true.
“Are you sure? Rumours are rumours.”
“I have reasons to believe it’s true. I just thought you deserved to know.”
“When’s the wedding?”
“No clue. Are you thinking of sneaking in?”
Narcissa bit her lip. “I’m considering it?”
Regulus stared in silence, but she knew he wasn’t judging her: he probably would do the same, in her place.
“I have to go, now,” said Narcissa, noticing Mary and Lily getting closer. “Thank you for telling me.”
Regulus nodded, and she could hear him making a snarky comment at his brother as she walked towards the girls.
“Mary! I thought I had lost you forever!” Narcissa put her hands on her hips like a disappointed mother.
“Same here, this house is huge,” Mary smiled, offering her a glass. “Apple juice?”
“Aw, thank you, darling. Were you in the kitchen?”
“Yes, Lily and I wanted a drink.”
Narcissa didn’t have to say a word, because Mary apparently read her mind and stealthily shook her head. So Alice wasn’t there, then. Where the fuck was she?
Lily watched the exchange, sipping from her own cup.
“Lily, I wanted to have a little chat with you, alone,” smiled Narcissa, “To get to know each other.”
Mary sensed danger, Narcissa could tell .
“I really like her, Cissa,” she warned, “And I think we can become really good friends. So don’t scare her.” Mary added in a whisper, and it made Narcissa smile even more devilishly.
“I won’t. Thanks for the juice.”
Mary narrowed her eyes, then threw a look at Lily, who seemed pretty calm, and walked towards the sofa.
“Okay, Evans, what’s your deal with my Mary?”
“Straight to the point, I see,” Lily commented, taken aback. “Your Mary?”
“She’s like a sister to me. So?”
“I want to get to know her, hopefully become her friend, eventually write a song with her,” Lily listed without hesitation.
“Huh, so your priorities changed, then,” Narcissa raised an eyebrow, “I thought the collaboration was your main goal.”
“Before we properly start writing together I wanted to get to know her.” she replied, quick. She really had her answers ready, Narcissa could appreciate that. She had to catch her off guard.
“…Do you like women?”
“I-What?” Lily faltered, her face becoming as red as a tomato. “I-I don’t…I don’t. I’ve always been with men.”
“That doesn’t mean shit, you know.” Narcissa commented, satisfied to have caught Lily by surprise.
“Yes, of course…” she replied, apparently finding the tip of her shoes incredibly interesting. “Does…does Mary like women?”
Narcissa looked at her, not answering immediately to see how Lily handled the suspence. Answer: pitifully.
“I dunno, go ask her,” she shrugged.
“I can’t just go up to her ask if she likes women!”
“Why not? I just did.”
Lily pressed her lips, clearly flustered, and they held eye contact for a while.
“Okay, you seem harmless enough. The interrogation is over.”
Lily sighed in relief, and took a sip of her drink.
“…So, what‘s your deal with Alice?” she asked, breaking the silence. Narcissa tensed.
She could tell her everything. She had the chance to be the childish one, making Alice seem like a bad friend for hiding their relationship to her friend. A taste of sweet, sweet revenge.
“If Alice didn’t tell you anything, I’ll keep my own mouth shut,” she said instead.
“Fair,” Lily shrugged. “Can’t say I didn’t try.”
They looked around, pretending to ignore the rising awkwardness.
“Thank you for coming,” started Lily, “I already told Mary, but coming here represents a risk for both of you. So thank you, I appreciate it.”
“You don’t have to thank me, Lily,” Narcissa softened. “You were there for Sirius when he ran from home, and then for Regulus, too. I know it wasn’t only you who helped them, but you have my respect.”
“So, you don’t care you’ve voluntarily walked into the snake’s nest?” Lily joked humourlessly.
“Darling, I live with a snake. My house literally qualifies as a snake nest.” Narcissa replied, rolling her eyes.
“You…What?”
Narcissa smiled at the surprise on her face. “Follow me, I’ll show you.”
She led Lily to her car, that thankfully wasn’t too far, ranting about how she had a whole fight with Mary about bringing the snake that night. In the end, Narcissa had won: a mother can’t just leave her daughter alone at home, and going out was good for development. Mary argued that snakes didn’t grow like human babies, but she had given in.
They had left the tank in the passenger’s seat, and when Narcissa pulled out Bunny, she immediately found her place around her forearm, small head resting on her palm. Lily was staring at the reptile, mouth wide open.
“Bunny, this is Lily Evans. She’s Mummy’s friend.”
“This is Bunny?” she replied, amazed. “Can I hold her? Please?”
“Oh. Mary freaked out the first time I showed her, and Amelia threw me a shoe. Here, take her,” Narcissa gently held Bunny. “Aren’t you scared?”
“I love her. It’s hard to find it insulting when people call me a snake, looking at her,” Lily said mindlessly, watching the snake carefully as she slithered up her arm. “It tickles!” she giggled, like a kid petting a dog for the first time.
Narcissa let her play with Bunny for a bit.
The streets were almost empty, the air cold, and the sky didn’t get much darker than this. Soon they’d have to go home, and she still hadn’t talked to Alice. How frustrating.
“I know what they say about you, Evans.” Narcissa commented. Lily gave her her full attention, Bunny now drifting unsupervised around her fingers.
“…And?”
“Honestly, I think they’re scared of you. You are friends with two prodigies of the Black family: they couldn’t manage to overshadow Sirius and Regulus’ success, and now that even I left almost unscathed, I think they’re scared of more of their actors and singers doing the same,” Narcissa explained. She had started formulating that hypothesis when the youngest Black started his own career: the beginning of the downfall wasn’t him leaving, but him not needing his family to succeed, and Narcissa was further proof of that.
“Our family couldn’t go against Potter, the main reason Sirius left, because of his parents, but you were unlucky, getting involved in that ordeal with Severus, so you’re an easy target. They want to take you down, and the brothers with you.“
“What do you think I should do, then?” Lily asked, sincerely. Now, five years weren’t that much of an age difference, but to Narcissa Lily was looking a lot like a lost puppy at the moment, and she was holding her precious Bunny oh so tenderly…she felt the need to help her.
“Make them pay. Give them a reason to be scared. I bet Sirius and Regulus would gladly help you with that,” she answered, taking Bunny from Lily’s arms.
“We were all so relieved, when Regulus ran away,” Lily said, as Narcissa put Bunny back in her tank and locked her car.
“I have to ask those two about the details. You should’ve seen Regulus when Sirius left, I thought they’d never speak to each other again,” Narcissa sighed.
“Their relationship was frail, at first. But in the end they sort of made up.” Lily offered, and Narcissa had the feeling she wouldn’t get much more info from her. It was a personal matter, after all, and Narcissa doubted Lily herself knew much more.
“And they did it by what, talking?” Narcissa joked.
Lily nodded, and Narcissa’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Are you se…kidding me?” Lily shook her head.
“Those two talked?” Nod.
“About their feelings?” Another nod.
“Sober?” …Reluctant head shake.
“Listen, I was as surprised as you are-“
“Surprised!” Narcissa let her back rest against the cold car door.
“If they can do it, why can’t I?” She exclaimed, frustrated.
“I know!” Lily agreed, standing next to her with her arms crossed. They both acknowledged their slip ups quickly, and shut their mouths.
“What, do you also have sibling issues?” Narcissa smirked.
“A sister that pretends I don’t exist,” Lily said, facing the house. The gold lights and the wind made her hair glow like wildfire. “She’s pregnant. And I found out through a fucking Facebook post.”
Narcissa hissed. “Ouch. Well, at least you have only one sister to worry about: I was too high to crash my niece’s baby shower but hey, maybe I can make it to my other sister’s wedding.”
“Well, better late than never. If you crash the wedding I’ll crash my sister’s kid’s baby shower,” Lily replied, and they both chuckled. Yeah, Narcissa liked her.
“…Shall we go back inside?” said Lily.
“Please, I’m freezing. I can’t feel my toes and I don’t know if it’s the heels, or the cold.”
As soon as they stepped back into the warm house, Narcissa decided she wasn’t going to waste any more time.
“Listen, Lily…Do you happen to know where Alice is?” she tried.
“Oh…” Lily replied, “I don’t know. Really. Marlene went looking for her some time ago, maybe try asking her.”
“Okay, thank you,” Narcissa nodded, already searching the room for a blond mullet. “But tell Mary I didn’t traumatise you, or it’ll be a dreadful ride home.”
“I will,” Lily laughed. “Good luck.”
Narcissa found Marlene, but she was too loyal (and hammered) to give Alice’s precise location, so Narcissa had to search the whole house, room by room. She found that Longbottom guy Alice was friends with, but even his lips stayed sealed, and Narcissa damned Alice for having such good friends. She was halfway into exploring the second floor when she finally found her.
Alice was lying in a bed of dark guest room, an empty bottle of vodka by her side. Her short curls were dark against white pillow, and she was wearing a black suit, white shirt and a waist coat, the jacket discarded on the sheets. She looked tired, but apparently she had had the decency to take off her shoes before laying on the bed. When she saw Narcissa, she had the audacity to groan.
She fucking groaned.
To Narcissa’s face.
“Hello to you, too.” Narcissa said, venomous, standing in the doorway’s yellowish light. Alice glared at her, still not speaking a word. Narcissa physically needed to hear her voice. At least once, after so many years. Or she was going to explode.
She walked into the room, Alice’s eyes on her, and stood in front of her.
“Are you not going to say anything?”
“I have nothing to say to you.” Alice replied.
Oh, her voice. Her voice. Give her the most offensive, atrocious words, but please, please don’t keep Alice’s voice away from her.
“Amazing. Because I have a lot to say.”
Alice stood up, making Narcissa retreat just a step. She had gotten taller, Narcissa had to slightly lift her chin to look at her in the eye, even with heels on. She tried not to think too much about it.
“Speak, then. I can’t promise I’ll listen,” Alice smelled of alcohol, but she looked as sober as ever. She had never been a light weight, even at parties during their school years Narcissa was always the one getting dragged back to their dorm. In Alice’s arms. Arms that were so close she could just reach out and-
“That’s exactly the problem, Fortescue,” replied Narcissa, snapping back to reality. Alice’s eyebrow shot up at the last name. God, Narcissa hadn’t used it since their first weeks as roommates, but it still rolled off her tongue like a deadly curse.
“You can yell, scream, hate me all you want, but don’t ignore me. I won’t accept it.”
Alice blinked, and then laughed bitterly. “Oh, so the princess can disappear for a decade, but when I ignore her then that’s unacceptable? Don’t be a fucking hypocrite, Black,” she said, all bite, and Narcissa had never been happier of someone being mad at her.
“You broke my heart, ran away with the pieces, and vanished. I didn’t hear from you for years, and then you come back into my life, expecting what? Me, waiting with open arms?” Alice never shouted when she was mad, her words became more and more settled and firm, like slaps to the face that progressively got stronger.
She was close, really close, close enough Narcissa could smell a hint of cinnamon under all the drunkenness. She didn’t move an inch, couldn’t move even if she wanted to.
“This doesn’t seem like nothing to say,” commented Narcissa, snarky, because she couldn’t help it, not with Alice so close, the closest they’ve been since they were at school.
“Oh, fuck you,” Alice groaned, turning away, but Narcissa grabbed her by the collar of her shirt.
“No, fuck you. I came here to apologise, but you want to act all childish-“
“Childish?”
“Let me finish!” Narcissa shouted, then angry silence settled between them. Narcissa let go of Alice’s shirt, now all crumpled.
“Have you listened to any of my songs?” Narcissa asked, more quietly.
“No, I’ve made a good job at avoiding you, in the last ten years.”
“Well,” she snapped, trying to ignore the angry ringing in her ears. “I’m performing, next Friday. It’s a live show, and I want you to watch me.”
“You can’t make me-“
“Watch me fucking sing, Alice, or I promise I’ll haunt you like a ghost. Every. Step. You. Take. And you won’t be able to ignore me.” Narcissa punctuated, tapping her finger on Alice’s tie. “I’m not asking you to like me, or talk to me. Just to listen.”
They were glaring at each other, but Alice’s brown eyes caught the light in a way that made them glow like bonfires, mysterious craters on the surface of a far away planet, and the freckles on her face were still exactly where they were supposed to, a map imprinted in her memory, and Narcissa had forgotten she was supposed to be glaring at her.
“…Fine. But take your hands off of me,” Alice swatted her hand away, but Narcissa was satisfied, both because Alice had given in and because her voice was almost soft, if she listened carefully. Or if she was delusional enough.
“Good. It’s time for me to go. By the way, you look stupid in that suit,” Narcissa lied.
“You love women in suits,” countered Alice, smirking because she knew it was the truth.
“On you, it’s repulsive,” Narcissa shrugged.
“Repulsive is that green you’re wearing. It’s not really your colour, Cissa.”
“Green is my colour, always has been and you know it, you lying-“
“If no article of clothing is coming off, I’m escorting Narcissa to the door,” interrupted Lily, standing behind them, with Mary next to her trying to suppress her laughter.
“My heels are the only thing I’m taking off,” said Narcissa, walking towards them, her mind repeating that last ‘Cissa’ like a broken record. “Let’s go.”
Narcissa didn’t look at Alice while walking away. They had never been good at goodbyes, and if they didn’t even consider saying it when they thought they would see each other for the last time, why would they start now?
Goodbye, for them, was a promise bound to be broken.

Regulus black | problems.
This fanfic is abt the problems they face while being secretly dating while Regulus is sirius's brother and you're James's little sister, and you're very close to the marauders. A quite long one, longer than my usual fanfics, content angst, fluff, NO SMUTS.
Tumblr media
"I love you, reggie" You Whispered. "I love you more, y/n" Regulus whispered.
You found your self on regulus's bed, cuddling. You knew you two wouldn't work out, but the love you have for each other is inevitable.
"Love? Y/n? Wake up" He pecked all over your face. "Yes yes Regulus I'm awake" You giggled. "It's a sunday, let's go to Hogsmeade" Regulus smiled.
You have him a 'hm' scared if the marauders were there. "Pleaseee" He begged and gave puppy eyes.
"Alright, alright" You sighed, but grinned. "We'll have to sit separately at breakfast, alright? " You asked, and he groaned an 'ok'.
You got up and went first to the great Hall, meeting Marlene, lily, dorca, and the marauders.
"Hi" You said, the girls greeted you a 'hello! '. "Are you going to the Hogsmeade? " Dorca asked. "No, I mean, yes, I'm going with a friend" You said. "Who? " Said James. "Uh, I don't know, friend from a friend" You said.
"Uh huh totally believable" Said sirius. "It is" You groaned, while eating. "Well we want to go to hogshead, me, marlene, lily, James, sirius, remus, and Peter, you want to take that friend of yours too? " Dorca asked.
"No thank you, I still don't know if he's shy or not" You said. "Alright" Said dorca. "Oo, a boy, is it? " James said. "It's just a boy, james, I'm gonna go" You said.
"Alrighty, bye bye y/n" Marlene said. "See ya later" Said lily, and so you went to the hallways.
Not long after, you saw a tall, black haired, and a very attractive boy, who is it other than Regulus. "Reggie! " You said. "Look who's enthusiastic now" He said in an almost giggle.
"Come, I already took your scarf and beanie, McGonagall is already escorting students" He said. It was your first time going anywhere public with Regulus. You were always worried about James and sirius, and so was he.
You two walked on the hallway before getting out, somehow, the marauders, lily, dorca and Marlene were already there.
"They're there, reg" You said. "It'll be fine, I think" Regulus said. "Can we go to honeydukes, pleaseeee" You said, Regulus smiled, replying "of course, we can".
After all the fuss, you finally get to go to Hogsmeade. "Reg reg, where do you want to go? " You asked. "You said honeydukes" He replied. "Yes, I want to go there, what about you? " You asked again.
"Hogshead, maybe? " He said. "Your brother and mine are there, is that okay? " You asked and he nodded, but he said "we should go to honeydukes first, alright? ".
"Alright" You said, as you two started walking to Honeydukes.
While you were in there, you saw a heaven of candies. You immediately took some chocolate frog, and nougats. But you split up with Regulus, and when he came back, he had brought so many candies and chocolate.
"Really, you're only getting two? We can share" He chuckled as you giggled. "I'll pay" You said putting the candies on the counter. But, when you were reaching your galleons, he already paid it.
"Seriously, reg? " You sighed. "You're not paying" He said, taking the bag of candies.
You two walked outside, going to hogshead. They were not there. Which is great.
A waiter came up saying "what would you like? " To Regulus. "Two butterbeer, please" He said, and the waiter.
After the drink came, you drinked it. "I will forevee have a love hate relationship with butterbeer, right now i love it" You said.
"You Love butterbeer more than me?! " He gasped dramatically. "Regulus, I love you more than butterbeer, it's obvious" You sipped some more butterbeer.
"I love you more than anything in the universe" He smiled. After sipping the last drop of butterbeer, you two left to hogwarts.
"It's freezing cold out here, I don't know how those boys survive with just a hoodie" You said. "It is really cold here, but you're hot" He smirked. "Oh yeah you're definitely sirius's brother" You said.
You walked as you finally realized that the marauders were close, and they probably can see you. You, not for the first time acted like you didn't care.
"Come, reg" You said, holding his hands. You ran into the hogwart hallways. "Well, that was a bit smooth, I'm going to go now alright, reg? " You asked. "Alright love" He said going to the dungeons.
You walked to the common room, seeing sirius and James looking mad while sitting on the sofas. "What's wrong? " You asked. James answered in a very harsh tone "ask lily", and so you did.
You knocked on their door. "Lils? " You asked. "Y/n! Get in" She said.
"What's wrong, with James, and sirius? " You asked. "They, sort of saw you with Regulus and now sirius is mad with Regulus, and James is mad at you for dating a Slytherin" Lily blabbered out.
"They got into a stupid fight, I mean you should be with who you want, right, dorca? " Marlene said. "Yeah, I mean you love Regulus right? " Asked dorca.
"Yeah" You said, "I have to tell him that sirius and James knows, ill be here in a minute or so" You said.
They all gave you an 'alright'. It was, of course getting colder as it gets to evening.
You walked and knocked the Slytherins common room. As a young girl opened it, first year.
"Hello!" She smiled. "Hi, I have a friend to meet, can I get in? " You asked and she gave a lovely nod.
You walked to Regulus's common room. Knocking on the door. A furious Regulus opened the door.
"Get in" He said. "Reg, sirius knows about us" You said. "I know, y/n, but you need to know something" Regulus sighed.
"It was all a bet, me and my dorm mates set up, I don't love you, y/n" His face was stern. "But Regulus, I thought-" He cuts you off "you thought. Theres nothing more for us y/n, you're a great person, but not my type" His face were emotionless, except the tear running down his face.
Your eyes started getting more watery. "This Is all a bet, Regulus? I loved you you bastard!, all this time? Why couldn't you just tell me before we, I mean I fell in love with you! " You said before sobbing.
"I couldn't cause, it was all a bet, y/n" He said. You took a step back and said "maybe James was right, that I wasn't supposed to be friend people like you, I thought you weren't like what James and sirius had told me, but I guess you are" Before leaving the room.
You Quickly ran out of the Slytherins dorm. You cried while going to your common room.
You went into lilys dorm, and told everything. "What? Regulus did that? I thought.. " Marlene said, all of them were completely shocked, and flabbergasted.
"I'm going to my dorm" You sighed after a while. The girls nodded and so, you left.
You felt emptiness. You lay on your bed, feeling weird because you're used to cuddling.
You can only think of him. Tears after tears fell out of your eyes. It was so bad that you can feel that your pillows wet on your eye area.
Not long, you woke up from the blistering sun. Another Monday.
You used your robes, using your perfumes, and rushed to the great Hall. Your eyes locked with someone, Regulus. You quickly looked away to the marauders and the girls.
"Hey" Sirius said. "Hi" You said. "You alright sis? Said James. "No, but, you guys were right, I guess people like him are... Different" You sighed.
I loath this but idk part 2 if I get to atleast 10 likes cause this is bad 😭😭

👀 SIRIUS SHOULDN’T KNOW
synopsis. how is james supposed to leave reader alone, when she always kisses him so good?
notes. james potter x black!reader.
Tumblr media
even though many thought that the relationship between the black family wasn’t even tolerable, sirius black loved his siblings (and cousins) to the point he grew protective of them. he believed that his slytherin brother was sly enough to protect himself, but his youngest sister didn’t seem like it. so… at first he protected her from their parents, now it was time to protect her from the boys, who’d like to have her undies on their room floor.
at the beginning you thought it was cute, even your twin agreed, but it had quickly changed, when sirius wanted to be the one who’d take you to the homecoming ball, scaring everyone off. so talking to james there was easy, it was probably one of your first talks ever. you sat next to him throughout the whole night and talked, getting suspicious looks from remus, who knew how could that end up.
james was going through a break-up with a girl he thought was the love of his life. it was definitely teary for him, and his best friends were aware, so if sirius caught his sister looking at potter with those daydreaming eyes, he would shoot some deer. oh, and if you were heartbroken, because he used you as a rebound, his head would hang in their dorm before the sun come.
he didn’t think much that night, seeing you alone in that emerald gown, visibly sad due to sirius’ nonsense, and he had to talk to you. he’s heard lots about you, from padfoot, moony and regulus, but never got quite a chance to start a conversation with you. in between the words, you left the great hall to go to the bathroom and ten minutes later his white, silky shirt laid on the floor of your dorm, while he unzipped your dress.
there were multiple rumors going around the school about james, and which type of a partner he was, was he a good kisser, had he got good manners, if he respected boundaries. now, you could truthfully admit that james potter was a hella good kisser. so good that if he wasn’t hovering over you, you’d barely stand. you were shaking under his touch or when his cold breath itched the skin of your neck.
it was supposed to be a one time thing, at least you thought so, because you hardly talked the following week, but then he asked you out to go on a date with him. his request was unexpected, but who were you to disobey? and now, a few months after, you were secretly seeing james potter, remus and regulus being the only ones that knew, keeping sirius away from discovering the truth.
“dove, just lay down with me alright? nothing will happen.” your boyfriend mumbled into the soft fabric of his pillow, one of his arms trying to reach you to somehow get you back to him. “he’s not coming here so early, c’mere and gimme a kiss.”
“jamie,” you pouted. “i don’t want this to end, and it probably will if he finds out.” he sighed upon hearing your words, and hugged your bare back. “we really gotta come up with a solution.”
his fingertips traced lines on your arms as you spoke, your words getting quieter with each stroke. “i’m gon’ play pretend with lily, alright? just like we’ve talked.” you didn’t want this, not more than sirius finding out about you two, nevertheless seeing your boyfriend spend more time with his ex would definitely hurt. “then, we’ll find a real solution.” he finished leaving a few kisses on your shoulder, sending a shiver down your spine.
“are you sure you can do it?” you asked, tilting your head to the side. “the question is, are you sure you can handle it?” now, it was your time to wonder.
you liked lily, you really did, especially since she’s been hanging around your friend’s dorm so much, it felt as if she became your housemate. she was always so nice to you it hurt, thinking how good of a match she used to be with james.
“dove, don’t overthink it. i love you, remember? now, chop chop, i need to meet up with ginger.” he smiled, pulling away, before reaching for your shirt and giving it back.
“leaving me for your ex? rude.” you rolled your eyes jokiny, while putting on your shirt. “see you after classes.” you added, before leaving.
you’d say you expected everything as you walked down the hallway to enter the great hall, regulus and barty brickering over something as insignificant as what you’d eaten the day before, or that sirius was being obnoxiously loud. however, you were definitely not ready for what you were about to see.
evans was snuggling in james’ side as he feed her, big grins on their faces, shooting a glance at pandora, you noticed you weren’t the only one upset with the whole thing. clutching your bag to your chest, you sat at the slytherin table between your brother and one of his friends. “i don’t like this.” you murmured prior to regulus’ arm drape over your shoulders. “barty, mind moving a little to the left, so i don’t kill myself in a minute?”
“i don’t get it.” crouch began, looking at you all confused. “why won’t you just… i don’t know. confeont sirius about all this? it’s not like you’re twelve or something. you’re gonna be sixteen in a short time, why acting like you’re not?” he shrugged, stuffing his mouth with anything his hand could reach.
“you know sirius.” you mumbled, hiding your face in your palms. “you should either tell him, or break up with potter. there’s no point in hiding if you never come out of your shell.” evan shrugged, immediately getting a look from regulus. “did he even ask you out properly?”
“no, but– we’re exclusive.” you frowned upon his words. “evan, just shut up.” dorcas uttered, knowing where this conversation would lead, the five of them (including aliya, who were currently occupying the hospital wing) has already discussed the idea of your relationship with james. the conversation reoccurred whenever you seemed a little too upset after talking to him, and even though they would never say anything that included your relationship in front of you, they cared if you were happy.
“i lost any appetite that was left in me.” you sighed, locking eyes with remus, who quickly hit james in his leg under the table to make him look at you. it felt like when he did, he looked like he had realized something.
nevertheless, when you left so suddenly, he kept the act, not rushing after you. it wasn’t the first timr, when you were visibly hurt by something and james couldn’t do anything in public, because sirius was always somewhere in sight. good thing you had a friend to run after you. well, barty didn’t exactly run, but he caught up to you swiftly, and left the hall with his arm on your shoulders and a quick stare for james.
“you gotta man up, tell sirius and stop this whole potter-evans madness.” he sighed, his arm falling off you as soon as the door closed behind you. “i mean, what will your brother do – kill you? you’re a young woman, he gotta know that!” he nudged you with his elbow as you walked to the class.
to be honest, you absolutely loved potions, what you disliked about them was that on fridays you had them with the gryffindors, and slughorn made it his mission to make you socialise more, so… you were stuck at one desk with marlene mckinnon for the whole two hours.
you’d lie if you said you didn’t know or like marlene. mckinnon was one of the girls you liked the most from your brother’s friend group, most likely because she also hung out with dorcas and dora a lot, so you knew her vibe matched yours. nonetheless, after the scene with your boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend, you weren’t exactly in the mood of talking to anyone who wasn’t a part of your own house.
“so… you and rosier?” her eyebrows wiggled suggestively as she spoke, grabbing your attention faster than ever. “what? what’s with the face. everyone saw how protective he was of you today at breakfast.” she grinned and stopped babbling for a moment, at the same time the professor sent you a glare.
“nah.” you shrugged, scribbling in your notebook. “why? he’s my friend.” a reply left your lips as you relaxed your chin on your palm, shutting your eyes for a second.
“i mean… lily and james were also best friends and now they’re back together…?” you knew she didn’t know that it wasn’t the truth, but somehow you grew quiet. “you and evan would look just as cute as they do, or even more. who knows?”
till the end of the period, you hadn’t spoken more than a one-word sentence, mckinnon’s words still ringing in your mind, getting louder and louder each second. you wondered if you and james looked cute together, if anyone would be like «woah, if they broke up i don’t believe in love” type of person.
“i think even sirius said he’d root for you.” that was all you needed to let go of the fear, not only because you were annoyed that someone thought you and evan were a thing (when he was clearly interested in his other friend), but because sirius used to brag about any boy you talked about making either you or the boy himself lose interest.
you decided to hold your horses until necessary, and… you were really surprised, when the jealousy burst out at james’ birthday party a few weeks later. you weren’t directly invited, “not to raise any more suspicions”, but since your boyfriend clearly stated he needed you to be there, you appeared, elbow intertwined with your twin’s.
at first, you wanted to keep everything simple. a plain, fitted black dress that you wore to the banquet your parents forced you to go to, when you were younger. although, back then your silhouette looked completely different, your curves developed and now the dress that once made you look like a wardrobe’s door, now it brought out everything that was needed.
within few drinks, and half an hour of watching your boyfriend fooling around with his ex, you had enough. it was his birthday and you couldn’t even properly celebrate it with him in front of all these people. with another two shots for courage, you walked up to them and by pulling his tie the closest you could, you crushed your lips onto his.
you didn’t even give sirius a chance to protest. without saying a word, you pulled back, grabbing his hand and almost run to the stairs to his dormitory. “sorry mate, what your girlfriend says, you must obey.” he shrugged and followed you, leaving your poor brother in shambles.
“finally! i thought she’d kill herself or you two, no offence though.” regulus sat beside lily, and smiled warmly, catching a glimpse of pandora who’d seen your outburts as a sign to finally give up hiding.
“wait, you knew?” the oldest black turned his head to his younger brother and frowned.
“we all did, padfoot.” remus laughed, taking a seat at the armrest of sirius’ chair. “some of us–“ his eyes landed on marlene. “– were pushing their buttons to end this madness.”
“what? i almost got the jealousy admission from james.” mckinnon shrugged, sipping on her drink.

Better than him.
James Potter x Reader, based on 'Boyfriend' by Dove Cameron.
Tumblr media
James Potter thought of himself as a lucky man.
He had everything he wanted: Good grades, good friends, a good life. The only thing he wanted, which he worried he might never have, was you.
Y/n Cassiopeia Black, twin sister to the elusive and handsome Regulus Black. But despite being at the same school, and being best mates with your older brother, the space between the both of you was almost impossible to cross. You were cold and indifferent - sticking with your friends and Regulus - and avoided James like the plague. You rarely spoke, supposedly scorned by his theft of your older brother, and when you did converse, it was usually under the watchful eyes of Charles Nott, your betrothed.
At the age of 16, you had been auctioned and sold to the highest bidder, wrapped in his vice like grip. James watched from the side-lines as the eyes that used to shine like her brother's name-sake, faded.
He had tried to become besotted with Lily, a beautiful and intelligent girl, but it was futile. Your power over him was strong, his urge to move on with Lily too weak. But a strong friendship between the Head Boy and Girl did blossom, so James ended up ranting to Lily about his situation.
“James I don’t know what to say. Y/n is one of the most prized girls in school and her circle is small. Your best bet to get her attention is to ask Sirius to introduce you,” Lily paused to brush her long hair out of her eyes and behind her shoulder with a thoughtful look, “Of course, that’s if she’s willing to speak to Sirius, I don’t think I’ve seen them together since last year.”
James sighed. He already knew that you had closed yourself off after losing your brother, and he grimaced thinking about how hurt you must feel. He knew that Sirius was still mourning his loss as heir to the House of Black, and heard him crying at night when his ache for his little siblings grew too heavy.
“I know,” James fiddled with his glasses, face heating up. “Maybe it’s best if I just leave it. It’s a pipe dream that a girl like that would ever go for a guy like me.” James moved to pick up his books from the library table and head to his dorm, mood low. Lily gasped and slapped his hand away.
“Definitely not! I remember Remus telling me that you two were completely smitten and oblivious to it despite belonging to rival houses. The James Potter should definitely not give up this easily,” Lily’s brows were lowered in an expression of seriousness, her lips thin, “I’ve got an idea. You know the Christmas Ball is this weekend?”
Of course James knew the Christmas Ball was this weekend. The whole school had been preparing for it since it was announced early November, a night of bliss and relaxation to temporarily ignore the deteriorating state of the outside World. James’ parents had already sent him his dress robes, and he saw that last Tuesday you had received a large parcel in the mail which he guessed must of been your dress.
“Yes, but I don’t see why that matters? She’ll be going with Charles. He proposed in August.” James spat, anger lacing into his words. Lily merely rolled her eyes and huffed.
“So? Steal her away! Ask her to dance and charm her! I’m sure it won’t be that difficult, it’s not as if she’s in love with Nott,” Lily placed her hands on the table and leaned towards him, “She’ll definitely leave him for you, she’s always been sympathetic towards muggle-born’s and I heard her talking about how she wishes she didn’t have to marry Nott. Give her a reason, Be her reason, and she’ll leave her supremacist family and be with you.” James scoffed and leaned back in his chair, watching as Lily reclined also.
“I don’t think it’ll be that easy. She loves Regulus and she fits the role as ‘Slytherin’s Princess’ perfectly. I don’t want to put myself out there for her if she’s already too far gone.”
“Believe me. She’s not. People don’t look at each other like you two do.” Lily smiled at him, certainty blazing in her emerald eyes, “You could be her new beginning, and I really think she wants that. She loves Regulus and she always will, but I know that he would value her happiness and I doubt that she wouldn’t love to have a reason to escape,” Lily’s hand reached over to James’ and clasped it, “I really believe that you two would work. I want to see you happy James, please trust me.”
James’ lips formed a smile, and he felt hope blare in his chest. If Lily, the smartest girl he knew, believed that he stood a chance, then he had faith. He squeezed her hand and stood up, collecting his books and shoving them into his bag.
“I trust you, now watch me get my girl.”
————————————————————————-
The Great Hall looked beautiful, you thought, as you entered. The ceiling showcased a clear starry sky, and the decorations shone and sparkled in the candle light. Ice sculptures decorated the corners, and 12 great circle tables surrounded a square dance floor and far off, adjacent the teachers table, was a long buffet and drinks table laden with Honeydukes delights and crisp pumpkin juice. Charles, your financeé, gripped your hand tighter and dragged you to a table with his friends, only slightly admitting how beautiful you looked in your F/c gown. Charles' friends briefly acknowledged you (with a few appreciative eyebrow raises) before ignoring your presence entirely. Across the room, you spotted your older brother and his friends, who hadn't seemed to notice your entrance just yet. Sirius looked remarkable like always, a classic example of the Black families striking looks. Even Remus looked quite handsome in his robes, and Peter had cleaned up nicely. Admittedly, you thought, James looked incredibly good in his robes and had caught your eye as soon as you entered the Great Hall. His robes were tailored to his fit physique perfectly, and his hazel eyes shone with excitement. Although he hadn't managed to tame his hair, you secretly appreciated how well it framed his face.
"Admiring the blood traitor, Y/n?" Rosier, one of Charles' close friends, scoffed. You turned back to the table, missing James' look your way, and shot a smile in Rosier's direction.
"Of course not," you replied, entangling your arm from Charles' grip, "But you have to admit that he does look very enjoyable in his robes." you smirked, watching as Charles' face contorted into a sneer. He made to grab for you, already muttering about your incompetence with an extremely angry look on his face. He wrapped his hand around your arm hard, pulling you close enough to whisper in your ear. Despite being pulled into his side, his body still angled away from you, like you didn't matter at all. From across the hall, you wondered whether it looked like it was a lover's embrace. It was anything but. You spared no love for Charles, and it was no secret. Rosier and the others all sniggered, slurs tumbling from their lips and their faces a mixture of disgust and outrage.
"Y/n, you should watch your mouth. You don't want people thinking that you agree with your mutt of a brother, do you?" Charles asked, his face settling into a blank stare. Your brows lowered and your lips curled, before quickly schooling features once more. You simply hummed, avoiding Charles' eyes. "Now run along to Regulus. I'll come to you when I need you." He unwrapped his hand from your arm and pushed you away, before turning back to his group. You wondered through Hall, greeting friends, before making a bee-line for your twin. The dancing had begun, a light tempo that sent couples soaring over the floor. You watched in admiration, the way they held each other, looking into each others eyes like no one else existed, souls mingling and stretching across the floor. You wished you could be swept along the floor, lost in the steps and the feel of your partners hands. The partner you imagined never had the Nott green eyes and cigar scented yellowed palms, he always had the face of your older brother's best friend.
From behind you, you heard somebody cough to catch your attention, and you turned on your heel to come face to face with James Potter, watching his already huge smile grow wider. His hands were in his trouser pockets, his body angled towards you so completely that you couldn't even acknowledge other's brushing up against you.
"I can't believe we're finally alone, I've been trying to catch you since you arrived, you look so beautiful," James revealed, blush drifting across his cheeks, "I almost went back up to the dorm."
"Well that would've been a shame, Potter" you smiled back, easing towards him, "I was hoping to see you on the dance floor."
James laughed, a sound that sent shudders down your spine and took his hand out of his pocket to push up his glasses that had fallen down his nose. "What are the chances? I wanted to see you on the dance floor too," James squared his shoulders and cleared his throat "Everyone's dancing, yet you aren't, somebody that I know is stuck by dance fever frequently, and he's not with you," James leaned forward and smirked, "the Universe must of divined us, little Black, it looks like we're destined to dance together tonight."
You could almost see the thoughts fly across his face as he grabbed your wrist before you could even object, pulling you towards the dance floor. The music had changed to a sweet, mouldable beat, sweeping partners across the floor in unique waltzes and dips. James positioned you on the floor, a large hand leaving a burning touch on you waist and the other slipping into you awaiting hand as you breathlessly laughed. Your hands fit together perfectly, just like his hand rested so perfectly on the curve of your waist. He started leading, smiling down at you as though you placed the stars in the sky, a twinkle in his bespectacled eyes. You followed readily, returning his smile and placing you hand on his shoulder, heat building and spreading under your dress at your close contact.
You were flying, soaring, just two people in a sea of revellers. You didn't slip from his gaze, totally unfettered, lost in him. You never stumbled, never faltered, you recalled every conversation, every lingering glance, every lasting touch, knowing you were utterly enthralled. James looked the same, captivated by your presence, stuck in your energy. You saw the words bubble in him, and your heart soared when he stopped biting his tongue.
"Y/n," he whispered, drawing you closer, his face a picture intimacy, "I could be a better boyfriend than him," you sucked in air, but didn't draw from his arms. James tightened his grip on your hip as you looked deeply into his eyes, "I could do all the shit that he never does," he flared his fingers against your waist, "I'll stay up all night for you, I won't quit. I'm thinking that I'm going to steal you from him," he dropped his head to press against your forehead, your joined hands tight as you still manoeuvred around the floor, "I could be such a gentleman, plus all my clothes would look so good on you." You slowed to a stop, dancers fluttering around you as you ended up at a loss for words, mouth agape and your heart singing. "I could be so much better for you than him."
"James..." you unlaced your joined hands, already missing his touch, as he stared at you desperately. You knew that everything he said was true, and James was nothing if not an honest man. He made you smile, kept you safe, always thought of you as the prettiest girl in the room. You were in love with James Potter, but it wasn't as easy as that. You had to worry about your brother, Regulus, and the future of your family. While your parents were definitely not kind and nurturing, they were all you had. You didn't have James Potter to whisk you away if Sirius didn't allow him too. You wanted James, more than you'd ever want Charles and his prejudice. Your eyes watered, and you suddenly felt lost.
"I don't need to tell you twice all the ways he can't suffice, he wouldn't care about your happiness, or your dancing or your smile," James' unwavering hope warmed you, cocooning you in a safety net when you felt like you were falling from the Astronomy Tower. James wanted to be your new beginning, your second chance. He wanted to cuddle you on cold nights and to show you the beauty of the muggle world and all its secrets, "If I could give you some advice baby, I'd leave with me tonight." His desperation slipped from his face, replaced with a confident smirk, as if he saw your facade melting, as if he could see you melting in his arms, as if he knew that you were going to choose him, just like you would every single time.
"You'll help me get through it?" you asked, and James immediately knew that you meant the sparking fall out between you and your parents, and the Nott family. James took your face in his hands, love shining in his eyes, before placing a chaste kiss on your forehead.
"I'd give you my heart if you asked, darling, of course I'll help. Besides, what's another Black sibling in my house? if your brother comes I'll have the full set." you shared a laugh, biting back the tears that threatened to spill.
"You'd like that." you said between laughs.
"I'd love it." he answered, leaning back and taking your hand in his once again. He led you back off the dance floor, both of you blushing madly and smiling merrily. Towards the left of the hall, you spotted James' friends watching you both intently, glasses raised. Lily Evans seemed particularly excited, emerald eyes aglow with excitement as she waved enthusiastically and gave James a thumbs up. Sirius and Regulus stood further away, small smiles on their faces as they watched their little sister walk out of the hall with the resident trouble maker. No complaints rose up their throats, just unbridled joy for their sister who finally looked happy. James and Y/n didn't look at anyone else as they left hand in hand, not even at a furious Charles Nott, hands balled in tight fists. They ignored the open mouthed stares and muttered remarks, completely absorbed in each other.
The next day, Charles would arrive at his dorm to an owl waiting by the open window. Tied to his leg was a envelope, and Charles reached for it immediately. Ripping it open, he tore the piece of paper out and dumped its contents on his bed. Gleaming back at his sneering face was the ring he gave Y/n when he proposed, and scribbled on the letter was one sentence:
'I suppose you were right Charles, I do have a taste for blood-traitors.’

Tysm love x
Thanks for requesting sweetheart!
James Potter x Black!reader ♡ 911 words
“Do you really think this is the best place to hang out?” you ask James, eyeing the closet in his dorm as if you’re brother’s going to come popping out.
“It’ll be fine,” he promises you in that optimistic, sure-footed way of his.
From the way Regulus had talked about Sirius’ friends at Hogwarts, you’d expected James to be insufferable. Arrogant, entitled, the true embodiment of the mask your oldest brother puts on when he’s here at school. But you’d discovered when you’d arrived that Sirius’ goofy friend wasn’t the James Potter you were warned about. He was self-assured, certainly. Confident, but in the years you’ve known him it’s never seemed like anything more sinister than that. James doesn’t walk into every room like he owns it; he walks in like it’s home. He brings that everywhere with him—that feeling of home, of belonging. It seeps into you when you’re with him, and to your brother’s acute repugnance, you’re with him more and more these days.
“Remus is off with Lily, and Sirius got pulled aside by coach after practice, so he’ll be on the pitch running drills for a good hour yet,” James goes on. He sits down on his bed, and you follow suit. “Plus, your dorm is occupied and this is the only other semi-private place I could think of.” His smile goes a bit sheepish as he shrugs, one-shouldered and boyish.
You catch his meaning—the privacy carries implications neither of you are ready to act on—and you’ve got no reason to feel awkward about that but a nervous laugh fizzes up out of you anyway. “Yeah, I guess you’re right,” you admit. Though Sirius is far from unaware of this blossoming whatever between you and James, neither of you are keen on him finding out through the grapevine that you were seen canoodling in the hallways. Privacy is ideal. “So, I’m guessing practice went better for you than it did for him?”
James shrugs again, the show of humility making you both grin. You can never seem to stop doing that around him. “Yeah,” he says, “practice for a seeker is pretty straightforward. Less strategy to it, so I guess I got off easy.”
“You make it sound like Sirius isn’t just hitting things with a bat,” you deadpan, and he laughs. The sound feels like sunbeams shooting straight into your gut.
“It’s a bit more complicated than that,” he hedges. “But hey, are you coming to the party after the match on Saturday?”
“Is there still going to be a party if you lose?”
James fixes you with a look. “We never lose, sweetheart.”
Another giggle bubbles out of you, though the joke isn’t really that hilarious. You secretly love when James calls you names like that. It makes your heart do all sorts of funny, acrobatic things. You don’t love that it’s probably not so secret, and he can almost definitely tell. His eyes go warm now, a knowing smile playing on the corner of his mouth.
“Yeah,” you say, “I’ll think about it.”
“You should come,” he encourages, leaning his hands back on the mattress. You very pointedly do not let your eyes linger on his forearms as he does so. “It’d make me happy to see you there.”
“You’re always happy,” you tease.
“That’s because you only see me when I’m seeing you.” You must look confused, because James’ clarifies, voice softening slightly, “I can’t help but be happy when I’m with you, sweetheart.”
The combined effect of the words, the tone of his voice, the sweet way he’s looking at you—it starts up more than butterflies in your stomach. There’s got to be a whole ecosystem in there by now, with buzzing bees and jumping frogs and everything. You look down, a half-hearted effort to hide the smile that takes you.
“James,” you murmur, lightly chiding.
The door comes open, and your brother’s eyes widen as they take in you on James’ bed, his hand an inch away from your leg and both of you looking terribly caught. Then they narrow.
“James Potter, zip your pants back up right this instant!”
“Sirius!” you exclaim, and there’s no lightness to this chiding, your face heating with mortification. You glance at James’ zipper, just to be sure—and yup, it’s fully closed, everything contained—and then glance quickly away, horrified all over again that you’d looked.
“We weren’t even doing anything,” you seethe, knowing your stare matches your brother’s as you glower at each other from across the room. “What are you even doing back?”
Sirius rolls his eyes, utilizing that older brother’s insouciance he knows gets under your skin like nothing else. “It seems you’ve gotten turned around. These are the boys’ dorms.” His words drip venom onto the dull red rug. “I’ll be happy to escort you back to yours. Let’s go.”
“No.” You set both hands on James’ bed, feeling ridiculously petulant. Sirius raises a brow as if to say No? but you ignore him. “This dorm is as much James’ as it is yours, and he invited me here.”
“Pads,” James says, not quite softly, but mildly compared to the fiery tones you and your brother are throwing back and forth, “we’re just talking.”
“And now you’re done talking.” Sirius shrugs, stalking toward you. You grip James’ sheets a bit tighter on instinct. “If I recall, you have a potions’ essay to write, and you’re not—ugh.” He grunts, wresting you away from James’ bed using a hold that’s worked since you were kids. James himself offers no help, other than a sympathetic grimace as you’re hauled off. Sirius fixes him with a cold glare in return. “You’re not getting that done in here.”
“You are so immature,” you gripe as he starts tugging you towards the stairs, your feet barely skimming the ground.
“We can talk about—oi, quit!—we can talk about who’s more mature when you stop pinching me, you prick!”

THE BATTLE OF LIONS AND SNAKES - R.A.B
As the first wizarding war draws near, the rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin becomes even more visible. You'd thought that being James's sister and a Slytherin would change things, but it only made things worse. Pairing: Regulus Black x fem!Potter!reader. Genre: fluff, some angst. Warnings: pureblood supremacy, war talk, slightly dark themes? Swearing, Sirius being a dick. YN calls Sirius a cunt.
Tumblr media
The Potters and Blacks were, perhaps, two of the most popular wizarding families at Hogwarts; along with the Malfoys, Prewetts and the Notts. Yes, being pureblood had it's privileges, but it was popularity that put James Potter and Sirius Black on the map.
James and Sirius were the kinds of people that no-one disliked. They were good at sports, funny, daring, and over-all good natured people. They might not have the best grades like Remus Lupin or Lily Evans, but they were damn good at making people laugh, and no-one seemed to mind if they lost any house points.
When the Sorting Hat was sorting you into your house, it had mentioned Gryffindor. Out of all the houses, Gryffindor was the house to be in. Gryffindor made stars, and was home to many famous witches and wizards.
James was a leader. He became Prefect in his fifth year and Head Boy in his sixth year, and was the youngest Quidditch player in a hundred years to be made Captain of the Gryffindor team. He was a good friend - always loyal, always listening to the side of everyone's conversations, always making sure everyone was involved. He was a gentleman - when he had his heart set on someone, he knew exactly what to do and how to treat her right (in the later years, of course). Your mother and father were extremely proud of him.
You yourself were somewhat similar, as his younger sister, but you always envied him for finding most things in life easy. James had every opportunity laid out for him. You, however, had to work hard if you wanted something, sometimes twice as hard as the average student; hence why the hat placed you in Slytherin.
Being in Slytherin and being a Potter caused quite an uproar your first year at Hogwarts. Everyone in Slytherin had a bone to pick with James, based on whatever prank he and his friends had done on the house. Because of this, everyone had some kind of opinion on you, except for the first years, who knew nothing better but to be your friend.
You had met your first ever friend on the Hogwarts Express. James had brought you to sit with his friends, the "Marauders", as they liked to call themselves. You'd spent two Christmases with them before coming to Hogwarts, and honestly, they were pretty stuck-up, especially Remus, who was some sort of care-home yob, and glared at you every time you spoke.
Eventually, you left the carriage, telling James you wanted to make some new friends. He didn't mind, and jokingly told you not to make friends with the "wrong sort", although you didn't really know what that meant.
All of the carriages were full of people who looked older than you and scarier. You walked further down the train, wondering why some students were staring at you. You ignored them, looking through all of the carriages. Finally, after quite some time, you came across a carriage that was almost empty.
A small boy was sitting on the left side of the carriage, reading a book about Ancient Runes. You smiled, he looked so peaceful compared to everyone else; and he was your age. You put your hand to the door and knocked. He looked up, frowning.
The small boy put his book down and got up. He opened the door, "what do you want?" His dark eyebrows furrowing in confusion. You smiled apologetically, "I was just looking for a place to sit. My brother and his friends are a bit annoying." The small boy looked you up and down and stepped aside. "You can sit with me."
"My brother and his friends are a bit stuck up, too. I met them on the platform. My name's Regulus, by the way. Regulus Black."
Your eyes widened. This was Regulus Black? The brother that Sirius Black despised so much? Well, he didn't seem quite so decietful and troll-like after all, but perhaps siblings just disagreed with each other. You wondered why he was all by himself.
"I enjoy my own company, normally, but mother said to make friends. You seem like a respectable enough witch... Would you mind telling me your name?" You tried not to giggle at how Regulus spoke. You'd never heard a ten-year-old speak so posh before. You smiled, "YN Potter, nice to meet you."
Regulus's eyes darkened but he shook his head. "You're not bad for a Potter. Let's be friends." Regulus Black held out his hand, and you shook it, sitting down next to him.
The train continued to move through Scotland. "I'm afraid I'll be put in Slytherin," you said after awhile, putting your head in your hands, "all of my family's been in Gryffindor for thousands of years, but the other day dad joked that I was more cunning than bold."
Regulus looked at you, "I think what you did earlier was pretty bold." You scoffed, "what, asking you if I could sit with you?" He grinned and nodded, "yeah. Do you know how many people avoided me just then before you got here? Even in the Slytherin carriage they think I'm some sort of a freak." You frowned, "I don't think you're a freak. You're just a regular kid to me."
Regulus pulled a face, "I'll have you know I'm the second heir to the Most Noble and Ancient House of Black, an extremely respectable and non-regular young wizard." You let out a snort of a laugh, "what kind of kid has to be respectable?!" Before covering your mouth. Regulus smiled at you, "the ones who don't snort like that." You giggled.
Regulus started to get more comfortable. "All of my family's been in Slytherin for thousands of years, just like how yours is with Gryffindor. When Sirius was put in Gryffindor two years ago mum went absolutely ballistic. Maybe I might be put in Gryffindor too, but I think I'll probably be in Slytherin... I wish I was brave enough to run away."
You snorted again, "I wish I was brave enough to be in Gryffindor." Regulus laughed loudly. You turned to him, "if I am put in Slytherin, it won't be so bad if I'm with you." And he smiled.
And you were right. With Regulus by your side, you found it easy making friends in first year. Everyone in Slytherin was a pureblood, and was either scared of him (which you thought was truly ridiculous) or they respected him.
As the years went by, it was clear to most people that the two of you were as close as two peas in a pod. You were often seen together so much that on the rare occasions where you weren't together, you were asked where the other one was.
It was in your third year where you realised your feelings for the youngest Black brother was not just those of friendship, but something much stronger. As your crush grew and your Slytherin friends teased you about it, you began to worry and think of what would happen if you were to date Regulus, and what would happen when your big brother and his best friend found out that you were dating the little brother that he despised so.
And in fourth year, as if nudging these events into reality even further, you and Regulus began to date. In fifth year, the two of you became prefects and Quidditch Captains, and it was clear that you were a powerful unstoppable couple. Despite this, however, some people still did not agree with the dynamic of your relationship.
It was during lunch in the middle of your fifth year did the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor really take its poll.
The war was almost in full motion, and it was obvious to anyone with brains that Voldemort did not have good intentions. There had been whispers in the Slytherin Common Room of some older students who had joined Voldemort's side through some kind of ritual.
James and Sirius were convinced that Regulus was one of these people, and as usual, had convinced themselves that they were right.
"What exactly are you trying to say, James?" You snapped. Your older brother put his hands up in surrender. "Don't get mad at me, I'm just the messenger. Padfoot thinks you should reconsider your relationship with Regulus, that's all." Merlin, were you glad that Reg was out in the pitch training. Sometimes his mad Quidditch obsession was a good thing.
You turned to Sirius now, "you think that, do you?" And Sirius shrugged. James jumped in quickly, keen to stop an argument from happening.
"Well you know how Padfoot's family are all very... Traditional," James was picking his words carefully, watching your facial expressions, "and he told me the other day that his folks had been talking about some dark lord for a long time, like, ever since second year, and how they were all going to join him and support him, and Padfoot was just saying-"
"Regulus is bound to join up!" Sirius butted in. James turned to him and sighed. You looked at him. "He means well, but he's easily coeerced into things, and he's always trying to impress mother, and they always brainwash him, I mean, just look at Bella."
You scowled. Sirius's parents may have been horrible people, but that didn't mean everyone else in his family was. Okay, perhaps one or two of his cousins had done some nasty things in the past, and Bellatrix was one of them, but you would always remember her as the girl who cursed some older students for boxing your ears. She'd said any friend of Regulus was a friend of hers and that you could count on her.
"Bella is a perfectly kind and respectable witch. She's really nice, actually." Sirius rolled his eyes at this. "Well, whatever, but don't come crying to me when your boyfriend has suddenly run off to join Voldemort. I'm telling you, all of them are like that. You know, at least ninety percent of Slytherin house are evil!" Sirius threw his arms up and you began to fume.
"But you always forget the main thing, don't you, Black?!" Typical Sirius Black to hate something but to leave an exception. "I'm a Slytherin too! You think we're all just so evil, do you? You think all of us want to join Voldemort? Since Regulus apparently will, maybe I will to PROVE YOU WRONG, you righteous, narcissistic cunt!"
Lily and Marlene gasped but you didn't care. Sirius scoffed even louder. "Oh, that's rich, coming from YN "I don't want to be a Slytherin" Potter! But I suppose after snogging my dear brother everything's fine, is it? Suppose the death eaters will just have to snog you to convince you to join up-"
"CONFRINGO!" The Gryffindors shrieked loudly at the sudden spell. Sirius flew backwards, knocking down the students who were sitting next to him and you knew who it was immeadietly. Regulus was always rather powerful with his magic.
Sirius got up and glared at his younger brother, taking out his wand. Regulus held his chin high, "don't you say a word against my girlfriend." And Sirius scoffed. "Is she really your girlfriend, or is she just someone who you lock lips with in your bed? LEVICORPUS!"
You dove infront of Regulus just before you saw Sirius wave his wand, but forgot to take out your own, and now you were hovering in the air. James let out an enraged roar, getting up. "WHAT THE FUCK, PADFOOT! DID YOU JUST CURSE MY FUCKING SISTER?!" You didn't think you'd ever heard him be so mad before.
Sirius glared at him, "I was trying to get Regulus, but the little weasel doged it just like everything else in his life!" You tried to fight the enchantment, "GO FUCK YOURSELF, BLACK!" kicking at the air. The other students laughed.
"Expelliarmus!" Regulus flicked his wand and Sirius's wand flew out of his hand. "You're just as bad as mother," Regulus hissed, "cursing an innocent person." Sirius rolled his eyes, "oh, I'm as bad as mother? Who's the one still grovelling about her knees and begging for her admiration?! Who's the one who-"
"CAN THE TWO OF YOU JUST SHUT UP AND PUT MY SISTER BACK? FINITE INCANTATUM!" James wove his wand angrily, and you fell back down to the ground. The school had stopped laughing now, and were all just watching intently.
Regulus turned to you, "are you okay?" You dusted yourself off and nodded, "I'm good." You turned to Sirius. "Not that it's any of your business, but Regulus is my boyfriend and I love him. So if you can't deal with that you can just get lost."
James looked the two of you up and down before nodding solemnly. He turned to you, "YN, Regulus, I'm sorry. I didn't see it before, but I do now, and I can tell that you're in love. So, what I'm trying to say is, if you want to be together, I don't have a problem with it anymore." James nodded at Regulus, who still looked a bit taken aback that he was being addressed.
Sirius scowled, "I still do."
This time it was Regulus who rolled his eyes. He then turned to you and grinned, "since you've got such a problem with it, Sirius, watch this." You looked at Regulus in confusion before getting the memo and grinning. Regulus smiled too, grabbing your waist and leaning in, kissing you on the lips. Slytherin house cheered as the others stared in shock.
Sirius scoffed in disbelief, "whatever." And you smiled, kissing Regulus again. James made a sound, "you better remove Regulus from my sister, Padfoot, or you won't have a brother anymore." You giggled softly, threading your fingers through Regulus's dark curls before looking up into his green eyes and pulling away.

1. Is a Jegulus long fic with wolfstar subplot and black brothers reconciliation. it’s alternate universe, and i haven’t seen the concept around much
2. Is centred around Lily going home for Christmas 1976 and dealing with her problems with Petunia and their relationship. It’s probably going to be about 20,000 words, but I can’t say for sure. It also has kinda subplot Jily, James does feature.

Sirius felt ghastly sick to his stomach as he held a letter in between his fingers that was sent by his brother. Must’ve been one of the occurrences that Regulus sends him a letter saying that someone might be dying.
It has been two years ever since his father died. Sirius hated him for sure, but the least that he could do is respect him at his funeral. He thought something might've happened to his mother yet he got the chills of shock when he read the letter from his brother.
Mother wants you back. She’s getting married in a month and she wants us to meet his groom-to-be and his daughter.
Regulus,
Sirius merely laughed at the scribbled words before dropping them onto the kitchen table of the Potters and resting his hands on his hips. He laughed at how at the end of the day, even though he was thrown away from the tapestry by his own mother after he left home.
And now, she wanted him back for her white veiled occasion in a month? And a month before to unwillingly meet his mother’s new lover and soon to be stepsister.
“Go, she’s the one who wanted you.” Sirius scoffed at Remus’ incredulous statement. “I bet you she does," he sarcastically said. Rolling his eyes, placing down the cup of coffee Lily just made for them.
“It must not be that bad,” Lily chimed in. “Just go and meet them then at the end of the day you can leave.” Sirius thought about it for a moment before all of them heard Harry’s cries.
“He must be up.” She leaves the kitchen to go and grab Harry. “She’s right Prongs,” Sirius declared.
“Isn’t she always?”
“Not always.”
Tumblr media
“Welcome back, Master Sirius.” Sirius gave Kreacher, the house-elf that had been most loyal to the family, a big grin. Kreacher took his coat from his arm. He scanned at Sirius as if trying to find something.
“You don’t have any luggage, sir?” he asks. Sirius shakes his head, “Not planning to stay long,” he states, walking into the manor with droopy eyes. He doesn’t know what to feel by inspecting the manor that has been changed up for a bit. Lights were now around, not the old darkened and shadowed surfaces of the area. More paintings to what he assumes were either bought or made by his mother. Antics of gold vases and more objects that signify decorations.
“But sir, the mistress instructed you to stay for a month.”
“To what? There’s-”
“Father, have you seen my slippers!”
A slight hindering voice caught the ear of the older son, making his head turn to the staircase that was set to his upper right. There you stand barefoot in your simple little sky dress that has sparks of gold accents on the hem of the dress.
That’s her?
It seems as though Sirius can’t move nor shift his eyes away from you. From the very beginning when your voice was heard, he couldn't take his attention away from you. It’s as if you’re the opposite that attracts him.
“Dear, it's with me. And please, don’t shout in the manor.” The atmosphere of a calming presence was gone as he saw his mother running after you with black shoes in her hand. You swivelled around to face her, with a soft grin swelling over you.
“I’m sorry ma’am, I forgot. Thank you for bringing these to me!” Sirius watches as his mother hands you the shoes with a smile that he had only seen once or twice in his whole life. “It’s all right dearie, no need to fuss about it. Call me Walburga, please.”
“Mistress,” Kreacher said, “master Sirius has arrived.” Both you and Walburga turned to look to your right to see him, a boy with gracefully long black hair. You’ve heard about him. And honestly, it was tragic the way that Regulus describes him. A blood traitor. You can’t even perpetuate if someone from your family had called you that.
“Sirius, you’re back.” It was meant to be in a happy and excited tone of greeting. But you only heard of what seems like flat pace boredom. “Mum,” said Sirius.
“Good to see you back,” searching for a hint that she meant it sincerely but it’s like hidden away from a dungeon. Sirius only nodded in response, flaking out and appearing to be wanting to leave the manor in a matter of seconds.
When he turned to look at you, you gave him a dashing smile — wanting to have a first impression like what you did to Regulus. And honestly, it fulfilled a brilliant relationship with him. Sirius returned the smile but with a sprinkle of a smirk that he can’t seem to remove.
Walburga, seeing the interaction between the two of you said, “I’d like you to meet Y/N. She is the daughter of Charles. Don’t you know him?” Sirius shook his head up and down, side-eyeing you without caring if his mother saw it.
“Well then, come along dear. I’ll help you with your hair.” She says, smiling once more before turning her head to Sirius again. “Go and clean yourself up.” With that said, Walburga pulls you gently by the arm. You waved him goodbye first, then followed the mistress of the manor back to your room.
Sirius stays still, watching as the last strand of your hair is gone. He takes a deep breath and then turns to the house-elf on his right. “I’ll go ahead.”
“Have a nice stay, Master Sirius.”
Tumblr media
Finishing his shower, he goes ahead to wander around the manor, trying to reminisce about what it looked like back then. However, as he can remember, it still looks the same with lights flickered on. With a towel on his shoulder, he dries his hair down, whistling a tune. That is until he heard someone. Particularly his brother.
He heard him muttering through his door, he stepped closer to Regulus’ door, pressing his ear on it and listened carefully.
“Spoiled little brat aren’t you?”
He was shocked. More than shocked that he will hear those words from him. He wants to know who he was saying those vicious words. Just to his luck, the door was slightly crooked. He moved closer to it, making sure his presence is still nowhere to be found.
Then there he sees you. Bent over at the end of Regulus’ bed, dress pulled upwards with your hands tied by his hand as he strongly slams his cock to you. Hair splattered everywhere, as cries echoed in the room.
His eyes broadened at the vulgar scene being set in front of him. And really, he doesn’t know if he should be either proud or stay surprised.
Regulus pulls out for a minute and flips you over to your back. His body loomed over yours, his right arm lying flat beside your head for balance and the other roaming from your throat up to your cheeks. As you were facing the door, Sirius could see your face very well. Disorganized, crying, mouth flew open to catch heavy breaths. Overall, a fucking shit of a mess.
“Look at me,” says Regulus, wiping the tears that keep streaming down your face. It took time for you to finally calm down and glance up to meet his eyes. It held softly for what seemed like affection. Something that is expected when someone is making love with Regulus. The only difference is when Sirius caught his brother making love with another woman, he didn’t hold any mercy at all. No talks, no wiping their tears, not saying that they should look at him.
Sirius can’t see if Regulus is staring down at her. But he can feel him. If he was being honest, he would be too if was given a chance. Regulus’ head dropped at the crook of your neck. Inhaling deeply your scent that made him furious since day one. The scent that pulls him over to you to this explicit moment with you. And does he regret it? No. Not even a bit.
“You drive me crazy, y’know that?” he continues to trail burns up to your neck. Sirius adored how you reacted to it. Gasping slightly as if it wasn’t expected. Well, it wasn't foreseen from Regulus after all. The way that you bit your lip to secure the erotic sound leaves your throat.
“D’you?”
“Is it bad, Reggie?” He chuckles heartedly, smiling down at you as he glares contently at your worried expression. “It is love, it is.” Both of the boys eyed you as you said “Oh no.” It was adorable of you to worry like that. But then it hits Sirius. You’re innocent.
It’s mental of him to even have his pants get tightened just by the thought of it. No wonder Regulus is mad about you. He thought as he heard his brother chuckle once more.
“Worried?” he asks, his thumb swiping over your bottom lips, daring to push it in. Your head nodded, eyes glistened over the fact that you might be hurting him in some way. “Want t’help me?” you muttered a yes but as soon as you did Regulus can’t help but be drawn over to your lips. After tasting it a million times already, he can’t help but be addicted to it. Like he’s dependent on it for life. A day won’t and shouldn’t go by without him having a taste once again. He can have your lips for breakfast and lunch. Merlin, he can have you for dinner and he would be content.
Sirius also can’t encourage himself to stop his hand from rubbing the bulge in his pants. The scene was too much to not be adored. You were too much. Too much for them.
Regulus’ pulled the bottom of your lips with his two sets of teeth, causing a soft moan to escape. That dear moan that makes the Black brothers be seduced right now. Your hands finally climbed Regulus’ hair, locking your fingers in between curls, pulling them slightly if you want to. Regulus likes that. Very much.
He continues to grapple with your lips, swiping his tongue on its lower part — asking for permission for you to open up. Or more like demanding you to open those lips so he can taste every being of you. “Put your tongue out,” he hisses, eyes closing as his hand travels down to your clothed breast, kneading it the way his hand likes. You displayed your tongue out open for him to see. Sirius too, watching carefully as your droopy eyes anticipated what Regulus is about to do. And it surely caught the older brother off guard.
He spits directly in your mouth, some splattering onto your lips. “Swallow,” he says, like the way that you obeyed instantly without any hesitation. Your mind was clouded. You weren’t sure if you liked it or not. Who are you kidding? Although you are innocent, you know that you loved it.
Both men watching your throat swallow his spit moaned ever so slightly. Sirius had to cover his for many reasons. His brother then proceeded to push his mouth closer to you, both of his lips shoving them onto your tongue, sucking on it as if he needed it to survive. Moving his head up and down, sucking and kissing your tongue just to have every taste of you not missed.
As of now, your legs were pulling each other closer. Your pussy going into a whirlpool of need. Itching for his touch. Wishing for him to touch you like last time. To fuck you there into oblivion like last night when everyone was asleep. “Open your legs my little serpent.” His voice just seems to propel you more and more into this madness. You heeded his request, opening them just how he likes them.
Sirius can’t help but finally reach into his pants for his length, rubbing it up and down as he listens to your moans when Regulus slid back in. His tight grip on himself is as if it was not enough. He held onto the door frame so that he couldn't just barge in and have to explain why he was there. But really, there’s no other reason but you.
Eventually bottoming out. You held on Regulus’ shoulder for dear life. Scared that you might break into pieces if you don’t. Regulus continued to thrust into you slowly, pace becoming faster and faster — testing how loud you can be for him. However, he can’t do that just now. So he had to cover that sweet voice of yours with another coaxing kiss.
Moans and sobs getting louder by the minute, and the way that you kept on squeezing him tells him that you’re near. He pulled away from the kiss but not before mumbling that you should be quiet or else your father and his mother will soon see how you are such a whore for your soon to be step-brother. He pushes your dress further up, then holds your hips for balance as he rams back into you.
His head falls back, a groan joining in. Your hands gripped onto the sheets as he fucks you like a vice. Sirius ran his hand up and down faster, following the rhythm of his brother’s thrusts.
“I’m c-close daddy-”
“Go ahead. Come undone f’me. Fuck,” like the obeying sister you are, you came undone, legs shaking up and down with mouth open and an erotic moan choked your airway as your eyes rolled back. Sirius also came in his pants, biting his arm to lessen the volume of his groan. Regulus followed after, shooting his seeds right in you, throwing his head back once more.
As Sirius finally calms down, he left the two of you. You are still stuck in his mind. As he took another shower, pulling his clothes off him and throwing them somewhere in the bathroom. He can’t help but do it once, twice, or three times more with your pornographic look clouding his head. Surely, he won’t be letting his brother take all of the fun.
You’re still sensitive to everything so when you felt Regulus dragging his cock down on you again, you pushed him away slightly. “Too much,” you mewled out. Regulus finds this charming of you. Yet he’s far from being done with you.
He lowered down on your frame, soothing your still shaking legs by rubbing them. “I know love, but just one more for me. Please?” you hesitated for a bit but nodded after.
As you came down to your second orgasm, you felt incessantly tired. But again, Regulus wants more. “Please love, just more ‘kay? One more and we’re done.”
What one more turns into another, and another, and another. Coming down to your fifth orgasm for the day. “Don’ want more daddy. 'm tired.” “One more fr’daddy. Please princess, just one more. Then daddy will take care of his little princess.” You sighed, knowing that you just can’t resist him. “‘kay, jus’ one more, daddy.” He smiles, kissing down on your forehead as he slides back into you.
Finally coming undone for the last time. For real this time, with hinges of calls for your name and saying I love you. The side of Regulus that was barely shown to anyone. Just as promised, he cleans you up and massages your legs whilst you sleep peacefully. He then went under the covers with you, spooning you to the side with his hand pushing your hips down on him. He closes his eyes, listening to your small little snores, smiling happily. Hopefully, dinner comes late.

_____
“The Mckinnons are dead.”
Those words took a moment to populate in your mind before you were able to react. Your hands automatically went to cover your mouth! While you should be entirely shocked by this news (afterall, people on both sides died). It was still shocking to hear that all of the Mckinnons were dead
Oh Merlin, Marlene!
Your heart ached at the realization that one of your best friends was gone forever.
“Did you say the Mckinnons were dead? Like all of them?”
Regulus questioned. Sirius only nodded. He couldn’t bring himself to repeat it. Knowing yet another one of his childhood friends had met a grizzly fate was something Sirius didn’t want to keep repeating.
Regulus was silent for a moment. While he didn’t give two shits that Noah was dead, the news the whole family was wiped out was shocking. His gray eyes flickered in your direction. You hadn’t said anything since Sirius dropped the news.
“Fuck, now they are wiping out whole families.”
Regulus grumbled before turning his attention back to you. He wrapped a hand around yours gently squeezing.
“I’m going with Remus to set up all of the arrangements. We don’t even know who to contact now that all of them are dead.”
Sirius wasn’t surprised when Regulus didn’t appear at all interested or bothered. This was just typical Regulus Black behavior.
“Yeah, good luck with that.”
Regulus commented before turning to go find fire whiskey.
You, meanwhile, turned your attention back to Sirius.
“Marlene…did it…appear that she suffered?”
Sirius took a shaky breath. He didn’t want to tell you everything. Sure, you had every right to know but this was still one of your best friends.
“Unfortunately, yes. You know what they were up against. I’m sorry about Noah.”
Regulus’ grey eyes flickered in his brother’s direction as you pressed your lips together.
“Noah wasn’t anything special to me, Sirius but thanks. He had no issues giving me hell over dating Regulus earlier today. I suppose I feel bad that I don’t feel bad enough.”
Regulus smirked and took a sip of his drink. Something told him that he would probably have ended up killing Noah for how he talked to you had some death eater not beaten him to the job.
“Well, Noah was awfully jealous of the two of you.”
You only nodded as Lily walked into the room. Her eyes were puffy as she looked in your direction.
“I talked to mum. She’s fixing a roast chicken tonight. Would the two of you feel up to coming with us?”
Regulus instantly made a face. He DID NOT expect to meet your parents that quickly. His evening plans consisted of shoving you in a nice steamy shower and having his way. Now, he had a feeling that he was about to go give your father some cheesy line about how much he liked his daughter.
“I probably shouldn’t introduce myself as the man who makes Y/n’s legs shake.”
Regulus thought with a smirk as Lily turned in his direction. Lily’s smile faded. She was not at all happy with the lover that you decided upon. Lily would have much rather that you ended up with Sirius vs Regulus. She knew that you would have to fight Remus or join some kind of throuple but at least it would be with someone decent.
“You might as well come along too, Regulus. We should get mum and dad introduced as soon as possible.”
“You sound so excited.”
Regulus grumbled before turning back to you. He knew that you weren’t looking forward to going anywhere either. You were devastated about Marlene. Now Lily wanted you to make some kind of social call.
“Sugar, do you want to get this over with or shall we do it at another time?”
Regulus’ voice pulled you from your thoughts. He was hoping that you would say tonight wasn’t a good time but that didn’t happen.
“Lily’s right. We might as well get this over with.”
An hour later, you stood outside of your parent’s home with Regulus at your side. He hadn’t said much since arriving. James was his normal golden retriever self as he reached for the door.
“Hey Regulus, now the heat can be on you. Thank you for coming along and getting it off of my shoulders.”
Regulus gave James a cold glare as the front door opened. You had been thinking of things to say to your parents for some time. Turning up and looking devastated wouldn’t end well. Your mom had a nose like a Doberman and could detect the slightest thing being “off.”
While your parents knew about the war in the wizarding world, they hadn’t been told entirely everything.
“Let's go in here and act like everything is fine. There is no need to worry mum and dad more than necessary.”
Lily commented as her eyes met yours.
“No, there isn’t. They will never sleep at night if they knew everything.”
You replied. James grinned. He wanted nothing more than to ease the tension.
“Maybe you also shouldn’t mention that you are sleeping with Regulus already. Something tells me that won’t go over well.”
“James, I will give you money to shut up.”
Lily grumbled at her husband as your mother opened the door. You were so thankful to see your mother’s warm kind smile. With everything that had happened that day, you needed something warm.
“I’m so happy to see all of you!”
Mrs. Evan said happily before moving to kiss Lily. She quickly grabbed a hold of you next. Wrapping your arms around your mum’s shoulders, you took a moment just breathing her in.
“Hi, mum.”
You said, faking a smile. Silently, you prayed that your mum would buy it. Mrs. Evan’s cupped your face. It was always good to see her baby.
“Y/n, sweetheart, I haven’t seen you in weeks. You are looking well. Are you doing alright? Your eyes look puffy.”
You faked another smile.
“I’m fine, mum. I promise. Mum, I have a boyfriend. This is Regulus. He’s Sirius’ younger brother.”
You watched as your mother took a step back and looked Regulus over. Maybe it would be funny later but your mum reminded you of a wary motherbird.
Mrs. Evans meanwhile, was carefully taking Regulus in. She could tell he was Sirius’ brother. He shared the same perfectly handsome good looks that the boy who had become like a son to her possessed. Something about Regulus, however, was different. He didn’t seem nearly as extroverted as Sirius was.
While Mrs. Evans had her concerns she decided to push those out of her mind for now. She could always talk to you about this more in-depth later.
“Nice to meet you. How long have the two of you been together?”
You had returned back to Regulus’ side and squeezed his hand.
“Officially, yesterday but we’ve been seeing each other for a bit.”
You decided to leave screwing like bunnies as “seeing each other.”
“It's a pleasure.”
Regulus added in a quiet tone. His quiet nature was coming right back out. You hadn’t expected Regulus to chat your parents up as if he had known them for years. In fact, you had expected him to be quiet.
“Come on in, I am finishing the finishing touches on dinner. Your father is in the dining room waiting.”
Mrs. Evan commented in your direction. She decided to let you be the one to drop the whole “boyfriend” topic on your father.
James and Lily walked in as if nothing major was happening. For once, the attention would be off of them. James was looking forward to seeing Mr. Evans lay into Regulus. He didn’t foresee Mr. Evans being too thrilled with Regulus’ reserved nature.
Regulus looked around the home as he followed you down a narrow hallway. His eyes glanced at the family photos lining the hallway. He knew good and well that your family was muggles but seeing no movement in the photographs felt strange to him.
With each step, Regulus could easily point your pictures out. They went all the way from a baby photo up to a family portrait that was recently taken.
“Merlin, she’s stunning.”
Regulus thought with an internal smile as you turned to face him. He suddenly couldn’t remember why he liked to bug you so much in school. Maybe it was because he always liked you but didn’t want to admit it because of your blood status? Now none of that mattered. Regulus didn’t care that you were a muggle-born and, if the two of you had children someday, that they would be half-blooded.
“Children? What the fuck? Where did that come from?”
Regulus thought, in total confusion. The two of you had been dating officially for a day and here he was being dopey thinking about you. Regulus didn’t know how to exactly process that thought. Never before, in the history of his life, had Regulus ever been this “feeling” over. You were making him question everything about himself. Since when did Regulus even entertain the thought of having children? As far as he was concerned, Regulus hated children. Now...he wasn't so sure about that topic.
“What is this girl doing to me?”
Mr. Evans’ talking pulled Regulus from his frantic thoughts. Regulus quickly looked to the middle-aged man who had stood from his place at that table.
You had let go of Regulus’ hand to go hug your father.
“Dad, it's good to see you.”
You said as your father kissed your cheek.
“It's good to see you too, sweetpea. What’s new?”
You turned your attention back to Regulus. Had the situation not been a bit tense, you would have made a joke about how Regulus looked ready to run right back out the front door.
“Dad, this is my boyfriend, Regulus.”
You chuckled at the expression of sheer annoyance on your father’s face. Mr. Evans had the same reaction when he met James or Vernon for the first time. According to your father, no man was ever good enough for his daughters.
Mr. Evans looked Regulus over carefully. The boy in front of him looked less than pleased to be in his home. Something about the perpetually bored expression on Regulus’ face made Mr. Evans raise an eyebrow.
“Ah, what to do you know? So, Regulus, what do you do for a living?”
Regulus didn’t let his cool calm composure falter.
“I’m the muggle equivalent of a lawyer.”
You looked between Regulus and your father with a wary look.
“We went to school together.”
You added. Your father nodded before turning his attention back to James. Mr. Evans would ask his own questions later.
You edged your way to where Regulus stood as your mother called Lily into the kitchen to help with dinner. It was no secret that your mother was interrogating Lily about Regulus.
“Well, that was exciting.”
Regulus said in a soft tone. You winced.
“Want to come see my old room?”
Regulus quickly looked up at your father. The last thing that he really wanted was for Papa Bear to hear that.
“Don’t you think they will notice that we have gone missing?”
Regulus questioned. You rolled your eyes.
“It will be fine. They won’t notice anything. Dad is grilling James and mum is busy with Lily. We will have a few moments.”
With that, you turned and pulled Regulus out of the room toward the stairs. After the day that the two of you had, you had an itch that only Regulus would be able to fix.
Regulus, meanwhile, was chuckling to himself. Did he realize that you were this big of a tart? No. He expected you to be a little more tame but, as usual, you were proving to him that he was right about nothing.
You opened the door with a smirk. As Regulus walked past you, you reached out slapping him on the ass. It took Regulus all of three seconds to pull you into the room and shut the door. You were pushed against the door and had Regulus pressed against you before you were able to register what exactly happened.
“You’re going to pay for that, little girl.”
Regulus said in a stern voice. He reached down to wrap his hand around your thigh, hoisting it over his hip, You bit your bottom lip as Regulus shoved your head to the side.
“I hope that I do.”
You replied. Regulus leaned down to kiss your neck.
“And you said that I was slut.”
Regulus murmured against your neck before biting down. His breath was hot against your skin with each kiss and nibble. You took your want out, casting a silencing spell on the room before moaning. Regulus moved his hands down to cup your breasts. He squeezed and teased your nipples through your dress.
“Let's see how ready you are.”
Regulus said, in that dominating tone that made your clothes fall off. His hand slid up your thighs. You gasped feeling the coolness of his rings on your skin. The moment that Regulus made contact with your bare flesh, he froze.
“No panties and making love in your childhood bedroom…such a naughty thing.”
Regulus said as he stroked his finger over your pussy lips. They parted easily for his fingers. You were swollen and puffy. Regulus used the pad of his longest finger to tease your clit. He rubbed softy at first before rubbing harder. You cried out, your breath ragged and knees shaking"
“Come for me, sugar, Come for me now or I’ll lay over my lap and spank you. You’ll have to go downstairs and face your parents with a red little ass.”
Regulus whispered in your ear. You did exactly as Regulus told you. You came in a deep and shuddering orgasm. Regulus held you close, feeling the pleasure energy run through your body.
“I would love a blow job but we don’t have the time. We can’t let your mummy and daddy know what I’m up here doing to your little twat.”
Regulus said with an evil little smile. He slowly unbuckled his belt and pushed his pants down enough to get his cock free. Regulus was half tempted to leave you like this. Make you face your parents, still wet and frustrated…but he couldn’t be that cruel. Especially not after he removed his free hand from your body and it was soaking wet. You were most definitely going to have your pussy stretched.
Regulus was hard and aching for you. It was still amazing how you were like sexual kryptonite to him. It wouldn’t make much more than a wanting look from you for Regulus to be ready for whatever could happen.
“Please, Reggie…”
You whimpered as he continued to tease your opening with the head of his cock.
“Fuck, sugar. You beg so pretty.”
Regulus groaned before pushing his hips up enough to completely sheath himself inside of you. He set up a nice steady pace, pumping in and out of you. You put a finger on your clit and strummed it in time to Regulus’ thrusts. It didn’t take Regulus long to feel your orgasm building. Each time your pussy spasmed around his cock, Regulus felt the burning need to come building within himself too.
Your eyes were closed in ecstasy with each snap of Regulus’ hips. How you would face your parents all flushed was a mystery that you weren’t ready to think of yet. Regulus whimpered your name before coming hard within you.
“You really are a little tart.”
Regulus murmured as he leaned down to kiss you once more. You giggled against his mouth.
“And you love it.”
Regulus was about to say something cheeky but froze hearing Lily calling your name…

5 STEP MASTERPLAN
pairing- regulus black x reader
warnings- mentions of voldermort and death
summary: you and regulus conduct a 5 step masterplan to keep your loved ones safe.
Tumblr media
step 1- pull it off.
“Remus” y/n choked a perfectly rehearsed sob. “what’s the matter?” he asked. She handed him a letter
my dearest y/n,
if your reading this i am dead. When i first came to hogwarts i was a pool of sadness and smoke. But then i met you. La vie est un sommeil, l'amour en est le rêve. You most defiantly we’re a dream. it should not have been that easy to fall for you not in the broken and ugly hand in life we had been dealt.
i have betrayed the dark lord if he has not killed me for doing so i have died trying.
i will forever long your touch and voice.
we will meet again in another life.
forever yours
R.A.B
“y/n i’m so sorry” Remus encapsulated his friend in a tight hug. “hey guys!” Sirius walked in to the room very chipper “woah who died?” he joked as he noticed the damp atmosphere. “your brother” Remus spoke quietly. “what?” Sirius asked confused. Y/n handed him the letter. She watched as his face dropped into a face of what one should only describe as the highest feeling of distraught. He looked at y/n with tear filled eyes. she almost felt guilty. But then she remembered this was all for the greater good.
Remus pulled up infront of the Potter house. “I don’t understand” James tried to understand his distraught sister. “He’s dead!” she yelled brushing the hair out of her face that was damp from her fake tears. James looked at Remus and Sirius and then motioned for them to take Y/n home to her flat.
Y/n walked into her flat and wiped her fake tears away. “did they believe it?” he asked she turned to regulus and smiled “hook line and sinker” Y/n told her lover.
step 2- make it believable
a month after the ‘death’ of regulus circulated it was clear that y/n wasn’t coping.
later that night Remus, Sirius and James all sat together reading letter each addressed to them.
my dearest brother
i hope you can forgive my soul for what i have done. i have gone to be with regulus. For a life without him is a life not worth living.
always and forever
y/n potter xo
dear remus,
i’m sorry, for what i’ve done. please look after my brother and sIrius. don’t let go of hiM. the love you Have for hIm goes far beyonD friendshIp you and i both know that don’t we Remus. Please Never forGet me.

y/n potter xo
dear sirius,
i hope you can forgive the mass of pain that i am about to contribute too. i never wanted any of this to happen. Please don’t let go of Remus go live your life happy loving eachother.
always and forever
y/n potter xo
“she’s gone.” James broke the silence. “i suppose the pain of loosing the one you love is far more that she could handle” Remus whispered.
step 3- make sure no one finds us.
“are you sure this is safe?” Y/n asked regulus as they stepped into grimwald place. “my parents are dead and Sirius will never come here” Regulus sighed.
“oh for fuck sake” Y/n muttered Regulus raised his eyebrow she motioned to the portrait of walburga. “oh for fucks sake indeed”
“reggie” y/n said staring at the paper in her hands “what is it love?” reggie asked “its sirius hes well he’s escaped” y/n said frantically. Regulus face dropped. “he might come here” he muttered. “if no one knows he’s here that won’t be a issue” Y/n tried to reason. “if he finds out we are alive…he’s going to kill us for sure” Regulus shouted. “maybe we shouldn’t have faked our deaths” y/n shouted back “we did it to protect them” Regulus yelled back. “well look where that got my brother and lily” y/n yelled back. “y/n” regulus spoke quietly. “i could have protected him. i could have saved him. He could have seen his child grow up” y/n yelled. “he could have lived” she whispered. Part of Regulus hoped Sirius would find them, as much as he would hate to admit it he missed his brother.
step 4- come out the shadows.
“do you think they will hate us?” y/n asked regulus. “it’s only natural at first” Regulus kissed his love on the forehead. “do you think they will recognise us?” Y/n asked Regulus. “Your forget my darling that we have not aged since the day we got here” Regulus had set them in a time warp of sorts their body’s would never age neither would their minds only their souls.
“why is it so clean?” Sirius’ muffled voice could be heard from the parlour room. y/n walked into the room “that would be me” both Remus and Sirius head turn towards her.
Remus sat at his desk and looked over the letter again

present day.
“y/n?” Sirius choked. “i’m so sorry” y/n stared at Sirius. he ran over to her and engulfed her into a hug. “suppose you missed me as much as you missed my lover?” Sirius head whipped up. He began walking over to them and brag them over to the table he slapped the back of both their heads. “That’s for making me think you were both dead for 14 years” he then slapped their heads again. “that’s for making remus think you two were dead” Remus rubbed the back of his neck. “well padfoot…” he trailed off. “You knew they were alive?” Sirius crossed his arms as his voice went very high pitched. “no,not right away anyway. After you got arrested i began looking over y/n’s letter again and i noticed some sort of code which spelt ‘im hiding” Remus explained. “although i am very disappointed well done you clever little bitches” He high-fived them both.
“how come you both still look 18” Sirius asked them holding remus’ hand to which y/n raised her eyebrows. “just because you look as old as Dumbledore brother” Regulus joked Sirius stared him down. “it was a enchant ment i placed on us i hoped by time someone came here everyone that would recognise us would be too old to remember” Refukus explained.
“when did this happen?” y/n spoke to remus as he sat with her drinking hot chocolate as the brothers repaired their bond. “when did what happen?” Remus asked wiping his chocolate moustache away “you and sirius” she dead panned. “when he came out of azkaban” Remus answered truthfully. Looking at her hands “how’s harry?” she asked quietly. “he’s wonderful just like james on the mischief part but just as smart as lily” Remus smiled.
——————
“who are they in the photo of you and my father ?” harry asked Sirius as he showed him around grimwald place. “that’s james’ sister your aunt y/n and my brother Regulus…they fell in love” Sirius spoke carefully. “What happened to them?” Harry asked his god father with hope of meeting his aunt. “this might explain things better” he walked Harry, Hermione and Ron to the gardens of grimwald place. There they watched two people chase eachother around the gardens in a world of their own. “Reggie put me down now” Y/n squeeled as Regulus threw her over his shoulder. “Would you two get a room” Sirius laughed Regulus put y/n down as they both walked towards his brother. Hermione watched as the young man only a few years older than her self approached them she took in his dark green dress pants and black shirt with only one sleeve rolled up his sharp features and stone grey eyes she swore she had seen before. She watched as the young girl again only a few years older than herself approached she took in her Tanned complexion and thick long black hair and her bright green doe eyes and her green floral tight crop top and her long dark green skirt. She was much shorter than the man maybe shorter than Hermione herself.
“Forgive me let me introduce myself” he shook all their hands “Regulus Black” he smiled and Y/n hugged them all and “y/n potter lovely to meet you all” she smiled she stared at the boy that reminded her all too much of her brother. “harry?” she questioned. “your y/n my fathers sister” He put the pieces together but not as far as Hermione. “they have been hiding. Some sort of age charm too” Hermione stated aloud. “well you most certainly are the brightest witch of your time Miss Grainger” Regulus complemented. “But why?” Ron asked. They all sat on the grass. “When the dark lord was at large i was sent in by Dumbledore to become a death eater” Regulus explained “that’s why you only roll one sleeve up” Y/n high-fived Hermione “remind me not to get on your bad side” Hermione smiled. “i was so close to destroying him when he found out that i was planning on marrying y/n he threatened to murder out entire friends and family” Regulus motioned for y/n to carry on.
“so we wrote letters claiming our death to those who mattered to us. We kept them convincing short and sweet…except for one in my letter remus i made a code that spelt out i’m hiding. And that’s all really” Y/n smiled.
“how did you two end up together?” Hermione spoke y/n’s eyes lit up. “my brother and Sirius and remus were best friends obviously and i was FORBIDDEN from talking to Regulus as Sirius had ran away. Anyways i was in the kitchens one day and i heard a some groaning so i walked over to behind the alcove and saw Regulus trying to dress his own wounds. So i sat there with him listened when he wanted to talk and didn’t pry when he didn’t want to… after that he became my greatest friend then beginning of 7th year we had to tell our potions class what we had to tell the class what we smelt from amortentia i smelt eucalyptus, old books and quidditch jersey i knew instantly that it was Reggie” Y/n was smiling with fond memory’s. “I smelt Cherries, hot chocolate and coconut body lotion…it took me a while longer to come to terms with falling in love with y/n. She was the sun and i was the dark sky polar opposites but somehow work together”
at the end of the day as Harry was walking to bed Y/n stopped him on the stairs. “i know that if you hide, it doesn’t go away”.

Not me thinking of how hinny (harry x ginny) in the books would have gone if Jegulus and Marlily raised harry!!
Like Harry def told Mary and Lily first. Cause hes tryna attract a girl. WTF DO REGULUS AND JAMES know about getting a girl? Also, he wld def ask Mary how she got Lily cause Ginny looks like Lily. I think Marlene wld pull out Mary’s old diary and show Harry a page titled “PLANS TO GET RED”!! I think Mary wouldn’t be much help but Marlene definitely had a “HOW TO GET THE CUTE SLYTHERIN” and she would cancel the word slytherin and replace it with Chaser (Ginny).
I feel like he would only really involve his dads after he gets tgt with Ginny and realises he’s broken 1918827828 friendship codes by dating his best mate’s little sister (something James knows a thing or two abt). Obviously, James would pretend he’s above it all and say “just tell Ron. I mean at worst you get beat up. Padfoot chewed all of my red converses and ate my autographed quaffle. I’m sure Ron is wayyyyyy nicer.” Of course, Harry will tune that out the same way James tuned out Arthur’s same advice. Instead, he’ll look for the diabolical slytherin aka SLYTHERIN SKITTLES for help.
Big mistake: Barty and Dorcas are laughing so hard they fall down. Pandora who already knows how this is gonna end (cause she is a seer) is sighing. Evan is trying to help but can’t because AGAIN what does he know about girls? And also he’s engaged to an only child!! Regulus AKA Professor BLACK to the rest of the students is sighing and questioning how Harry not only managed to find but also date someone who is a mix of both himself and Lily (the two great loves of James’ life).
Unable to help, Regulus will probably refer him to Sirius (consult the enemy). Sirius is probably the last one to know about Hinny (naturally, Reg and Remus found out first cause they work at Hogwarts). He is definitely very salty about it (EVEN PETE knew before him). So, Sirius wouldn’t help his godson. He’d just say something about karma after Harry sasses him for the thirtieth that day.
Eventually, Harry gives up and comes clean to Ron. He braces himself but Ron just goes “oh ok. Sorry I already knew.” He was completely fine with it cause urm Ginny is her own person? And he respects her? So, Harry relaxes. He doesn’t have to sleep in the room of requirements for fear that Ron will send a rat to him. That is until he feels two identical hands on both sides of his shoulders. Fred and George Weasley are looking down at him with matching mischievous grins. “So you’re dating our little Ginny eh?”
