So apparently I ran two almost perfect sessions of D&D in a row

Notable moments include:

-a fight up a giant ice wall

-local artificer knows how to turn sea creatures into beans and back, just add water, and dropped a whale on the party

-kicking your local villain off a 100 ft cliff, but they have wings and say sike

-slaghund busts through the wall and fights with local dragon

-cleric gives small child a weapon

-party member almost dies, is possessed by his evil arm plant parasite who cocoons him a shambling mound and consumes said villain into their body as vengeance

-said villain survives and makes it to the centre where party member's body is and gets an idea

-sister of said party member and only available healer at the time convinces shambling mound to eat her too so she can heal her brother who is dying

-being inside is like being crushed

-sees villain there too when she gets there, creepy glowing elf eyes, and bloody knife

-all the leaves in the centre have mouths and they are chanting the name of the plant parasite.

-party member's heart glowing through their chest is the only light source, and you can see the parasite plant's roots silhouetted in his heart.

-vine monster collapses when sister heals him and villain escapes into the nearby mineshaft, covered in blood

A lot of the players in the campaign I’m in have their characters keep diaries/journals now with the addition of Cashmere keeping a diary as well! The first five drawings are of the pcs in the campaign and the last five are npcs, I’ve also got a diary page I could post if y’all would be interested! I tried to give Cashmere a v scribbly art style, I imagine they’re drawing these during their night watches or something!

Glasstide Fight

Been working really hard on making good fights for my D&D players lately and I made one I was really proud of.

The Party has reached the town of Glasstide, where Therius’s mentor and current ghost problem, Ilien Bellfall, slew a red dragon 25 years ago that had been burning down the town every year for almost a decade. The Dragon’s Death was built around the bones of the dragon. The Draconic Church and Glasstide have beef because of this. A cult offshoot of the church called The Bones of The Pantheon hailing from the frozen tundra thousands of miles from Glasside turned up and decided to steal the bones, and the party banded together with the bloody ghost of Ilien Bellfall and Sussissa Syrus Lisetris, a paladin, of the church in order to stop them.

Maps included the square and the tavern:

Enemies included the cultists, cleric and paladins, and a lot of skeletons.

Phase 1: summon 9 skeletons to rush the party in the square while the rest of the enemies enter The Dragon’s Death Phase 2: Party enters The Dragon’s Death. The cleric is performing a magic ritual on the bones. The cultists and paladins distract and hamper the party with dispel magic and silence. Phase 3: Ritual completes after 3 rounds of concentration. The dragon bones come to life under the cleric’s control and begin freeing themself from the tavern. Each limb freed is an attack the dragon bones can use during its turn. Round 4, the dragon is free and escapes with the remaining enemies.

So my DnD party for the campaign I run fought a ghost. One of the ghost's abilities is it can age people in an instant, so one of the characters got aged 40 years and is now 61.

And it. Is. Splendid. Key moments:

Team Tiefling!

I run 2 parties in the same campaign, the first with 3 tieflings and the second with 1. They both love the barkeep in their hub town, Cauldron, who I made a Tiefling bc I knew both parties loved them so much.

They've essentially become Tiefling buddies and I just ❤️

Some dumb doodles of my campaign's players. Reingus's sweet but awkward first meeting with August (They were referring to animals and showed them the nesting Axe Beaks and eggs). Torinn being carried by Goblin bandits. Therius's special lady brand of toxic masculinity. Stone sneezing from all the Myconid spores stuck in his fur (describing what happens to his fur is my favourite thing). Reingus's wildshapes, a match stick wielding rat and chicken that started a revolution. A comedic rendition of Therius's most recent breakdown. Richie about to die because he decided to climb August's tree. Richie eating dirt because the party encouraged him to. And last but not least, Triumph using puppy eyes to try and get people to listen to the tales of his ancestors. Maybe this time it will work.
