Whumpee who was shunned and treated badly by their team for something they didn't do gets kicked out by said team.

Months later, the team finds out the truth, and they look for Whumpee and find them happy and well.

The team goes to apologize for their actions, and asked them to come back, only for Whumpee to smile widely... so wide it creeps out even the stoic member of the team.

"Oh, if only you knew. I was a traitor, remember? Well..."

Behind them, an army of Whumper's henchmen and Whumper approached from behind. The team shouted at Whumpee to watch out, only to watch in terror as they approached the henchmen, and hugged Whumper.

"I'm with Whumper now," Whumpee said to the shocked team. "You hurt me deeply, shunned me, and kicked me out of the team I once called family. Whumper treated me a lot better than you guys had. If you wished for me to be a traitor, you got your wish!"

The henchmen surrounded the team, their weapons out and ready to kill anyone who dared to move.

"Take them to the cells," Whumper said with a grin. "Whumpee and I will have a little talk with them."

Despite the team's protests, they were captured and taken, all by their friend whom they hurt.

it’s been four months since December 2022 and I’m still not over the fact that Reigen was apparently so haunted by guilt from that one time in S2E2 where he scolded Mob for eating too many french fries that it showed up in the super emotionally charged eyecatcher montage during the series finale.

I wonder if reigen will ever find the closure he needs to free himself from the poltergeist of regret that obviously follows him around as a result of this incident. the confession incident really had reigen re-evaluating everything from the past three years.

When the accusations hit, Team Leader and the rest of the team immediately abandoned them. They kicked Whumpee out of the team, and they all glared at them with nothing but discust. Whumpee has proof that they didn't do it, but they refused to listen. They all abandoned them without a second thought.

They hated Whumpee secretly. They didn't want them around.

Why should Whumpee accept the apology after what they had done?

Whumpee turned to face Team Leader, their glare so intense that even the brave Team Leader cowered down.

"Yeah, you should have," Whumpee growled, their voice filled with hatred. "Now my life is ruined, and Whumper is on the loose, thanks to every single one of you."
