I think this is what's so haunting about banana fish. jk, there are a lot of things that linger when it comes to banana fish. but I think this is what drives the au's where langa and reki or viktor and yuuri are ash and eiji in another life. they crossed oceans to find one another, and found home in another person. where ash (and all associated danger) eventually drew eiji out of his ennui following his retirement and general naïveté, eiji's gentle innocence and compassion (that came without strings) made ash feel safe and loved despite a life riddled with abuse and objectification.

whether you choose to see them as a romantic pairing (vikturi au) or as friends who made one another better through their connection (renga au), the ending they got was heartbreaking. because after everything they survived, everything they sacrificed, having found each other against all odds in the first place - there's no resolution. no happy ending. just more trauma to punctuate a life ensconced in trauma.

ash deserved more. aslan deserved so much more. and he deserved to think that he was worth saving.

Here’s my sk8 the infinity trans hc from last year. I reread it just now and it’s honestly still cute besides the ending being bleh

i think that reki and langa are a t4t couple and see joe as their trans adult that they can go to (mainly reki) for guidance and advice. Langa has known he was trans from a very young age and his parents were always very supportive of him. They allowed him to go on hormone blockers at the right age, start hrt, socially transition at a young age, and even get top surgery when he was older. All in all his parents wanted what is best for their son and to see him happy. Langa and his dad bonded together over snowboarding, it was langas escape and he loved it. Reki was not so lucky. His mom is a single mom and it’s not like she wasn’t supportive, it’s just that she couldn’t afford to put him on hormone blockers or hrt like he wanted. That didn’t stop her from supporting her son and doing what she could to help alleviate dysphoria. She helped him buy the clothes he wanted, helped him through his first gender affirming hair cut (and talked him into it not being as bad as he thought “all short haircuts look awkward at first it’s okay”), and made sure family and friends used the correct name and pronouns for him. Reki worked hard to pass without going on hrt. He learned his love of skateboarding, and quickly learned how much gender euphoria it gave him as it is seen as a “boys hobby”. He found himself a job at a skate shop and was able to save up for his first binder. When he meets joe and cherry, him and joe clock each other right away. Reki is starstruck, this is the first time he’s met someone who is like him and to see joe so happy as a fully transitioned adult makes him so hopeful that he can’t help but want to talk to him. He is quick to try and befriend joe and cherry, and joe takes him under his wing. Joe is willing to give him all the advice and answer all the questions reki has, his only rule is to do it when his restaurant is closed and to not tell anyone. Joe is at the point in his transition that he can just go stealth, he’ll tell people if they ask but he doesn’t feel the need to shout it out, not that he isn’t proud of who he is and how far he’s came. Reki takes all the advice to heart and tries to follow it as best he can. When reki and langa finally do meet, reki doesn’t realize that langa is trans at first. Langa was the first to ask the other if he is trans, out of pure curiosity and in hopes that it will make them closer as friends. Reki is so jealous of langa at first for living the life that he deserved, he thinks it’s unfair that he didn’t get to pass as easily as langa is able to or that he is able to go on hrt. It causes a real rift in their friendship, and it takes a while for reki to understand that just because langa may seem to have it easier they are both still going through the same hardships. They grow closer upon realization and fall in love the end.

Revelations of the Intimate Kind by flowerofsin. Oneshot, 4.6K, Eleven/Rory/Amy - it's not Amy who's been having fantasies about the Doctor. Rory/Eleven doesn't get explored as much as some other dynamics, and I'm weak for it.

Show Me by kickcows. Oneshot, 3K, Aranea/Ignis (Highspecs). Aranea visits Ignis and he makes sure she has the best, most enjoyable reception. A hot new Highspecs in exactly the flavor I love and adore? In 2024? I owe this author everything.

Compensation by mumsywrites. Oneshot, 2K, Kojiro/Ainosuke (matchalove). Ainosuke pays Joe back delightfully for the use of his restaurant for an event. My sk8 otp, rendered in hot and gorgeous fashion.

my love is unusual by janie_tangerine. Jane/Joanie (Deadwood), oneshot, 700 words. These ladies deserve more attention, and this fic gives it to them in lovely fashion. I want them to be happy.

Lavender and Pine by Spiderlily_Writes. Oneshot, 6K, hildaclaude with background marihilda. Hilda helps Claude work out some stress. This is so gorgeously spicy and illustrates the trust between these two SO well.

Heartless by Aewin. Oneshot, triple drabble. Neuvillette and Zhongli have a spicy confrontation. Please can I have 100K of this dynamic? It's so hot and the conflict is SO JUICY, playing off good solid canon reasons why that'd happen.

Much Ado About a Thick Dick by Cavalierious. Oneshot, 2K, Zhongli shows off his Childe-shaped toy. This is SUCH a hot premise and it's executed so well!

Hypotenuse by beleghir. Oneshot, 6.5K, Renga/Eden, with a tentative and wary connection between Reki and Adam. This Adam makes my chest hurt. He's so good. I love this fic.

chrysalis, coaxed open by anonymous. Oneshot, 5K, Asahi/Bokuto, soft dom Asahi. SO GOOD, I love this rarepair, this flavor of them is just right to me, and softly commanding Asahi incinerated me.

Love Me Till We Both Suffocate

So this is a two shot for the Sk8 fandom! This is the first chapter! second one will be out as soon as I finish it! AO3 link: here Reki POV playlist, Masterlist Summary:

Reki has always been a person that holds on tightly to the people he cares about, whether he admits to it or not is the question. If it was up to him he would never take the leap of faith and risk that which he holds most dear. The flowers that have rooted deep in his lungs is his price for his self-imposed silence. Langa on the other hand would need a big ass sign to know if he had fallen for his best friend. He gets the one he needed at the worst place possible, now he has to deal with the consequences that follow.

Chapter 1: Plans of a short future

Reki looked over the photos lining his room, his hand gliding along the edge of the newest addition. The blue haired boy’s hand lifted to the camera, eyes closed in his laughter, hair sweepted in wind and movement. He was forever captured in his happiness.

It's funny. He's not sure when all of his posters and knick knacks started to be overwhelmed by pictures and clothes that don't quite fit. The impression of the boy that made a home inside Reki’s heart; surrounding him in a love he didn't know was there till it overtook everything, tinting life in rose color. Hundreds of little things were left in his room, bag, and workshop; they took up space as if it was always meant to be there. 

Reki takes a deep breath, pushing a cough down as pressure increases in his chest with the swell of the emotions he refuses to look in the eye and realize what could, can be. Taking the cowards way out is what he has always been best at, everyone at S knew that. It's time he embraces it and takes his out. He’s just holding Langa back, well, holding everyone back, really. Miya was right. He's just some low level slime in the grand scheme of things.

So he'll just step back slowly, and fade into the crowd again. Reki will be a background character, barely seen in the cast of wild stories and skill in the life of the boy he holds so dear. He'll rot there as his lungs fill with the bloody beauty of his refusal to acknowledge what he wants most.

This slow suffocation is the best outcome he has. 

Hanahaki: the disease of dead poets, lost lovers, and skater boys who can't look their best friends in the eye. Reki really was fucked with this one. He never wanted to put Langa in this situation. 

Or anyone, really, but he already failed that once.

Why does he keep falling for boys that always deserve so much better than he can, could ever, be.

His best friends don't deserve to have some lovesick idiot that can't keep his heart in check enough to not get flowers in his lungs. Reki hates that he hasn't changed. He's still falling for a best friend that would be pressured to love him back, to save him. He's done with forcing others to save him, fight for him, care for the doomed loser that he is! 

Reki's too much of a coward to remove the flowers.

He… he just can't live without Langa, without the love that gently presses into everything in his life. He can't lose another friend like that. 

So, he'll lose himself instead. He’ll let the flowers take over his lungs until he can't take another breath. Reki will get up early in the mornings coughing out all the flowers he can just to do the same thing during lunch and after he returns home. Every interaction with the blue haired boy will leave him wheezing and gasping for a breath that will never be enough. The feeling of his lungs burning will become commonplace and will only make him fall for Langa more. That's the problem, isn't it?

Reki could never get over Langa.

He cares too much about the other boy. It's the whole reason that they fought in the first place; Reki cared too much about the wild boy with nerves of steel that will always be just out of reach. They may have repaired their friendship since then but the wounds run deep into his chest, thick and scarred, barely healed and still sensitive to touch. 

He just hopes that by the time he stops breathing that Langa moved on to a better friend than him, to someone that won't keep their feelings to themselves and won't quietly suffocate on their own feelings. It's the least that Langa deserves. 

He deserves someone who can make him happy so that he never has to know what it feels like to drown in your own blood with no hope, nor want of getting help. Reki just wants the best for Langa, and he knows that he is not what the other boy needs. 

Reki will hide the rattling of his failing lungs for as long as he needs, whether it's weeks or years. He'll slowly step out of Langa's gaze while still staying by his side until he can no longer breath on his own. Setting up his own final moments with a smile and a long gaze over to the boy that used to be glued to his side but now lives a better life.

One not held back by one overexcited fool who couldn't admit what he was actually feeling to himself. 

This is dumb. He is so dumb. Langa would never let him pull himself away and he knows that!

Stinging pain flairs through his finger tip as he focuses back on the world around him, leaving future plans and past musings behind. Reki gave himself a paper cut on Langa's picture, staining the edge with blood. Taking a deep breath to calm down causes a twinge of pain to crawl through his lungs. 

He'll deal with this later. He has time, after all he was only diagnosed today. Falling into his thoughts will just take time away from hanging out with Langa, which he was supposed to do today after his appointment. Reki can never leave the other boy hanging by himself for too long before he was hunting him down. 

Tentative plan: hang out with Langa as if nothing's wrong and deal with the consequences later, maybe even live with himself in the time in-between. Wiping off the blood from his hand, Reki picks up his board from the place next to his door and leaves to meet up with the boy he cares for more than he ever did himself.

Snowdrops and purple hyacinths bloom, their small petals escaping Reki's smiling mouth as he calls out.

Sorta more for my one fic bc they bond by going through the same intense trauma. But I realllly like the idea that Miya bonds with MatchaBlossom as SURROGATE parents. It’s just cute and makes my heart happy, he deserves all the love. Hopefully maybe we’ll get more Miya and parents in S2.

Reki pouts, rubbing his thumb against the sticker in his hand. There’s only so many ways he can arrange this display, and he’s running out of ideas, but after he finishes here, he’ll have nothing else to do. And then what? Is he just supposed to sit at the counter and listen to Oka and Shadow be all lovey-dovey? Truthfully, Reki would rather have to deal with whatever Cherry and Joe have going on than be subject to that.

And, okay, maybe he’s being a little bitter right now, but he thinks he deserves it! Shadow and Oka are in their honeymoon phase, Cherry and Joe have had their…whatever going strong since they were, like, sixteen, and Reki—

Well, Reki is also very happy in his relationship. Langa is everything Reki ever could have dreamed of and more, and Reki loves him so much. But Langa is also across the ocean in Canada right now and Reki misses him.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Mainly anime/manga fandoms, but I hop around based on my current interests. My top fandoms by work count are tower of god, hxh, and sk8, but I've mostly been stuck in bsd hell since last year so until that gets under control that's where I'll be!

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

I actually stopped checking stats (like got a skin so I can't see it unless I go to my stats page) so yeah! let's go with my top 5 fav fics right now instead!

backsliding: bllk, nagireo, 4k, rated t. exes fake dating in front of their friends to avoid having to talk about why they broke up, AGAIN. it's so fun!

Collateral Damage: hxh, killugon, 9k, rated t. aka when Bisky said to Killua “you can’t stay with Gon”, but for real. aka my heart broke writing this goddamn it.

Inevitably; daiya, miyumei, 30k, rated e. my love letter and ship manifesto for miyumei through canon. you know when writers say they wrote in a trance fugue state fueled by love and lack of sleep? this was me. loved every moment!

you're my mortal flaw (and I'm your fatal sin): yuumori, sherliam, 17k, rated m. the hunger games sherliam au of my dreams. this was an absolute joy to write all my fav parts of the hunger games au without having to learn how to write action. vibes and feelings only!!!

Yes, I try my hardest to reply to every one. I'm a lot slower now than I used to be, but I do treasure them!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

it's ironic that people knew me for fluff and now I don't know how to write fluff and have to pick between MULTIPLE angsty fics. Probably Collateral Damage right now, since it made ME feel bad writing it ;-;

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I think you are the magic in me or skyfall were both pretty long fics with a well-deserved happy ending that I knew I wanted the characters to have!

8. Do you get hate on fic?

I've gotten a bit here and there, mostly on my e-rated fics when I venture into more 'problematic' categories. It sucks, but I'm less affected by it now than I used to be.

9. Do you write smut?

Yeah, once that door was opened there was no closing it back up haha. Honestly, it's pretty fun when I'm in the mood to write it, especially shorter scenes where I can just turn my brain off a little.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I've written a short crossover called What a Steal on my alt account where Gojo and Reigen meet and Gojo tries to recruit Mob. I don't think I have enough brainpower to map out a true crossover but this short one was fun :D

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so, and I hope it stays that way!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I have a few! Not all of them were completed, but I always find it touching that people took the time to start! Same goes for podfics and art, just so touching <3

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've done a collab once where the general plot was mapped out per chapter and we had 6 authors and 6 artists where each of us got to craft a chapter! It was called Infinite Road where Reki & Langa travel across Canada together and it was ultra sweet and fun. Fandom is so amazing and I was honoured to be invited into this labour of love.

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

ouch. ouch ouch ouch. This is too hard. BUT if I had to pick one ship that encapsulates everything I want in a ship though, it would have to be Mark/Eduardo from The Social Network. I have yet to find another ship that has so much potential on all fronts and go through the full spectrum of human emotion depending on which era you put them in. Also that fandom still has the best fic I've ever read, hands down, even if a lot of it has been wiped from the internet, it lives in my head rent free - truly foundational, lifechanging shit.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

the guilt. the guilllt. I have a ton of khunbam WIPs lying in a graveyard that I don't even want to open up again because I'd feel bad. I also really wanted to finish the miyumei royalty AU of my dreams, and I even outlined it, but it got outrageous and the fandom is pretty tiny so unfortunately I lost motivation :(

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'd say exploring character! It's the main reason I read/write fic and am in fandom in general. Make me fall in love with a character and you've got me for life.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Having a coherent plot, action scenes, finding balance between too much or no dialogue, transitions... def more where that's from and that's okay! I know what I'm not good at, and if I had the time I'd think more on how to improve. But now I just think hey, it's a precious hobby of mine and instead of working on my weaknesses, I'll just ignore them and write the way I like to write :D

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't think I'm confident in doing much more than a word or two in Japanese lol personally. I think it can be done artfully and I love it when it's pulled off well!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Card Captor Sakura I think! At least published and not like, just in my head. It's on FFN somewhere, I pretend it doesn't exist, as with the rest of my FFN stuff.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

It'll probably be you are the magic in me for a long time, but these days I still think of when and how I'll finish silence strikes like a hurricane. Can't believe I broke my rule about posting an unfinished multichapter WIP. I have an ending but no clue how to get there. oopsies.

LIKE, COME ON, REI IS JUST SO PRECIOUS AND GOT SO MUCH MORE POTENTIAL, Even though I love his arc and think we have him solid enough as a character, I feel like the series kind of forgot about him as it went on, its quite painful on one hand because Rei is one of the few characters in Free! that you see literally go from 0 to hero, and their improvement in everything feels very personal, also, the guy is a nerd and a jock (kinda) WHAT IS COOLER THAN THAT?? I require more extra episodes of Rei strategizing to face life and swimming, with Nagisa participating and both getting into everyday adventures.

Character I find most attractive: It would be expected of me to say JOE, and he is attractive, but I gotta give this spot to Nanako. In fact, also to Masae. Beautiful, caring women.

Character I would marry: I'd be down to marry... hmm... I'd marry Nanako in a heartbeat. Or Cherry.

Character I would be best friends with: Joe, hands down, Joe. We can get on Cherry's nerves together.

A random thought: Miki, the green haired chick from episode 2, I think she has the potential to be skater. I actually wrote a whole fic with this idea called "You're Lime Green Jell-O".

An unpopular opinion: Reki actually has some great fashion sense and I would wear his hoodies. I want every single color.

My Canon OTP: Okay, since it's not exactly stated if they are canon, I'm not going to say Renga, but I will say Nanako and Oliver. Because... 😭

My Non-canon OTP: But I will say Renga here.

Most Badass Character: REKI. Look, I don't care what anyone says, that kid was the first to ever humiliate Adam. His plan involving the rain was solid! He's also crafty, makes skateboards!! Like the other characters are badasses in their own right, but Reki's race with Adam in the rain? That took the cake for me.

Most Epic Villain: Hands down, Adam. He's easy to hate, but you gotta admit he is an interesting character.

Pairing I am not a fan of: I do not like Adam and Langa together.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Kiriko, I actually wanted to see more of her and her investigation of Adam. But I hope for her return in season 2.

Favourite Friendship: Love it romantically, but I also love Reki and Langa as friends, too. They just click so well!! I also love Joe being like a big bro to Reki.

Character I most identify with: Reki, yes, Reki. A lot of how he felt about himself was relatable to me and his personality is similar to my own. Also, big siblings. I am a big sibling, the eldest, and have siblings just about all three of his sisters' ages and it be like that.

Character I wish I could be: Sketchy. Seems to have a lot of fun.

SHINKAMI! 🐈⚡

When I started shipping them: Ooh, when did I... okay in my early days of being in the fandom. It's actually one of the first ships I started shipping due to what my first ship was. (I'll let you guess who was my first ship, and yes, still ship it.)

My thoughts: I just love this ship! First off, individually, I do adore both characters.

What makes me happy about them: I like that they are friends in canon. That there is that foundation of their relationship.

What makes me sad about them: I actually don't have anything really sad about them. I'm just happy the ship exists.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Again, I really don't have anything here. I haven't actually read that much ShinKami fics enough to pick up on a recurring trait that may annoy me.

Things I look for in fanfic: I'm not really picky, to be honest. So I kind just explore when it comes to ShinKami.

My wishlist: I would love more interactions with them. Even just a single shot will do for me.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Okay, personally, for BNHA, I don't care for any ship to be canon. An ending doesn't need to have canon ships to be a good ending, that's just me. I don't hate the idea of ships being canon at the end though. But I don't mind Kamijiro, still a purple-yellow ship. For Shinsou? I actually don't have anybody. Maybe Midoriya, I like ShinDeku, too.

My happily ever after for them: See them partner up some more in the future.

How I feel about this character: That she deserves happiness and everything else she wants. She's adorable, she's precious, she's funny.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Damian and Becky

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Gotta bring up Becky here again because her friendship with Becky is just too adorable. And I love Becky!

My unpopular opinion about this character: Hm, do I actually have one?? I don't think I do.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: There should be like those comedy segments, like shorts of Anya's antics with Bond, Becky, Damian and the other kids as guest stars.

Favorite friendship for this character: Again, Becky and I also adore her and Bond as pals! He's the best!!

Heyo I finished SK8: The Infinity! I have thoughts! (Spoilers below the cut)

Right off the bat- what a series! I can’t believe I went so long without watching it- it made me laugh and cry and squeal and flail and all the good things!

Favorite character by far is Langa. I just love him so much! Not only does he look absolutely amazing while skating, but his personality and character really shine! He and Reki’s relationship is so grand, their bond is truly special!

And let’s not forget about said redhead! Reki is by far one of the coolest characters I’ve witnessed! I love how creative he is in the way he designs boards and how passionate he is about skating. I was sure there’d be a moment where he went the Makoto route and altered his path in life- but I’m honestly kinda glad he stuck it out? Only love for Makoto- I liked in Free how he found a way to love swimming through different lenses. That said, Reki just loves to skate period- and I like that he didn’t give up on his passion for the sport and came to terms on who he was.

Joe and Cherry- the bickering husbands: GAH! I can never get enough- they are comedy gold! I adore their relationship as well and their history: also that moment where Adam slipped in rain and Cherry laughed his ass off? *cluches chest* beautiful.

Miya and Shadow are also incredible! I love how Shadow is so passionate in the skating world but acts so meek in his day job. He’s an absolute cutie and deserves the world. And Miya- my child! Such a sweet kid! Despite his bratty presentation, he’s a really good kid and deserves only happiness.

Adam…eh. For 90% of the show anytime I felt nauseated. Not only for his relentless flirting with Langa and other kids alike- but his incredibly toxic views of love. I understand that’s due to family trauma, but still; that’s not an excuse to constantly abuse everyone around you.

Scratch that- the man straight up tried to KILL these kids. Like dude- they’re a pair of 17 year olds skateboarding for funsies; relax.

By the end of the show…yeah- still gross. I would sympathize more with him had he not randomly start trying to kill Reki and co. (The man just gave up making it look accidental- he was literally trying to grind him into ground beef against the wall in their race; put Cherry in the hospital after swinging his board into his face, and tried to do the same thing multiple times to Langa while skating an incredibly narrow path)

His theatrics and such are top tier- but it’s kinda like glitter. Pretty at first but slowly loses it’s appeal overtime. Eventually you just find it everywhere and it causes problems.

Loved the final race though- very Castlevania like!

So yeah- overall a great series! I loved how well written all the characters were and the music! Langa’s facial expressions live rent free in my head now and yeah- 10/10! 🥰🥰🥰

God I hope either the OVA or Season 2 gives us more Cherry and Joe backstory cause fuck do they deserve it.

Cherry, honestly, you have extended your hand to Adam far too many times. Honestly, what has he done for you other than take? You try and give your friendship, you try and give a helping hand, you try and give love, and you try and offer a chance to be better, but he won’t take it. It’s not your job to fix him, and at this point it’s hurting you more than you realize.

I wish Sk8 was longer cause we deserved more serious beefs for Joe, Cherry, Miya, and Shadow. Really amp them up to show why their the top skaters of the place.

I’m gonna start walking around S with a shirt that says “Reki Defense Squad” and a bat.

Reki: “Hey, LANGA!” (Now everyone at S knows ya’ll are gay.) [Who am I kidding? S is just a gay club with skateboarding.]

So, fun fact, steel beams can weigh over 1,000lbs even if it’s a small beam. Since it was being held up by a crane we can assume that the beam that Joe kicked was at least 4,000lbs. Muscle-bound God of Skateboarding indeed.

Ooof, Cherry knew Joe lost even before the race finished.

Adam: I can hear them now, the ringing of wedding bells! You’re about to hear my foot going up your ass.

Joe taking over for Oliver again. At this point, Nanako’s gonna be paying child support.

Not gonna lie, when I first watched Sk8, I actually put a little hope into Adam, watching him lose his voice after he pulled Cherry’s card. His little “Oh” had me thinking he actually had a soul for a hot second.

The one outcome Joe didn’t want coming true. God can you imagine, even if he won against Langa, he’d still have had to watch Adam and Cherry’s beef?!

Cherry: I’ve been waiting for this day. Adam: I didn’t want to compete against you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.

I do actually like that Joe can flirt with people he only probably expects a passionate one-night stand, or something of a short relationship from. But, when it’s someone he truly loves, he loses his voice and becomes flustered.

Adam: Hey, how long is this little skit of yours going to go on? It’s about time to start. Me: Aww, is someone jealous he gave up his only two friends and that they still find happiness in each other? Sounds like a you problem.

Joe: Be careful. He’s not the old Adam. Cherry: I don’t need you to tell me that. Oof the double meaning in that.

If you think Cherry not only dodging the Love Hug, but also skating a corner with his eyes closed isn’t cool only because Carla told him the angle, we can’t be friends and I’m gonna have to ask you to leave.

Ya’ll ever noticed Cherry talks to himself a lot?

I have so many words I have to say about Adam v. Cherry. Like. Sooooo many.

I wonder if these are his classmates or just random dudes he found. Like 3/4 are actually kinda cute, even though the two on the right look like total snobs.

Now, I’m 100% gonna make a separate post about Adam & Cherry, but for now, aren’t the red tiles on the ground sorta posed likes wings?

You can physically see Joe’s last shred of hope for Adam shriveling up and dying. Joe can tolerate a lot of shit, but he 100% has a line and it’s name is Sakurayakishi Kaoru.

I like the way that Sk8 shows that Cherry’s current feelings for Adam aren’t romantic. When he gets hit, the image that shatters isn’t the one of the two of them looking into each other’s eyes or when Adam calls them special. It’s the one of him with Adam and Joe. The one of them laughing and being happy, something that he wishes that they all could have again.

I’m so gonna make a post on Adam’s boring comment. Like, how can I not? He’s so full of shit it’s actually insane. Like, I’m sorry you’re not letting yourself have fun.

On another note, I’m also gonna make a post on why I think Kaoru can’t go into the zone. And it’s not because of the way he skates either.

So am I supposed to believe the hospital didn’t call the cops when Kaoru escaped?

Love how it’s implied Joe drank that entire bottle of wine. Like, can you imagine how worried he was, head injuries are no joke.

Now, why meiko and miku? Like ofc I dont ship meiko and miku cuz mikus 16 (plus kaito/luka x meiko supreme) but like when I discovered who meiko was xuz of how underrated she is compared to the crypton characters (and vocaloids in general tbh) I was going through my sk8 major brainrot and i relaised in a way shes "similar" to reki and like how miku is "similar" to langa (position wisse)

Out of the crypton characters meiko had been out longer than miku, but she wasnt an instant hit amongst producers and fans, and didnt make it big for a long time, she was(and still is) underrated, and most people either weren't a fan of hers or didnt really pay attention to her. It really was only after mikus release did she make it big and now more people have come to appreciate her and realise how amazing of a voice bank she is. Shes also difficult to tune/use but if used properly can do some of the most amazing sings and has some INSANE songs that I just HOOO BOY LOVE EM

Miku came out later than meiko but was a huge success and became a hit much faster and much bigger than meiko ever did and ever will. She sounds incredible, is easy to tune, and has sung some of the most incredible vocaloid songs to exist! Every one knows her, everyone loves her for a great reason!! Shes incredible and she deserves the fame because shes has an amazing voice!

i want to write about ellie calling joel dad over and over again. i never want to stop, even after 15.5k. it was so nice to do that and to give them a happy ending and to let them love each other, ya know? like they both go through so much and they deserve a nice quiet life where ellie can learn what it’s like to have a dad and joel can be a dad again. anyways i will definitely be writing more fics where ellie calls him dad. not all the time, because him being her joel is more important than him being her dad, but i think she’d totally do it to get her way with him lol.
