i affectionately call the one in the back bruce because their fur pattern reminds me of batman. they're also my secret favourite because right after he was born his mother dropped them into my lap for some reason and kept following me with them in her mouth. i got her a cardboard box so she brought all her babies into it and finally settled down and now there they are! they've gotten so big

the sweet proud mama. this couch is awful imo but it does complement her eyes very nicely <3

love malls that are dead and dying they’re so fascinating to me

#there’s this one that I used to love going to as a kid bc it had a bass pro and a rocks/minerals store. it could never really compete w the #other two malls in town not to mention the outlet malls and theme parks and the rest of the attractions. especially since nobody comes to #orlando for novelty stores which is all it had. I think there was a pacsun maybe? but I don’t remember any other clothing stores or anything #else people would actually go to a mall for. then when I was in hs everything closed except for the movie theater. ron jon’s. indoor mini #golf (glow in the dark). and ofc. bass pro. then they tried to revive it by putting in a bunch of stalls for local artists which was #actually kind of nice. and then they ruined it by adding an indoor obstacle course that killed someone. but bass pro still remains #thrives even #and we still go to the cinemark there bc it’s way more comfortable than amc and always has seats available #rooh.txt

me: i have all the dog mushing supplies that I need, honestly an excessive amount of stuff, an atv, a 3 wheeled rig, a fat bike, a kick scooter, a small dog sled, a toboggan style dog sled. i had to build an entire post and beam barn on my property to hold said items and yet...

the guy that made my rig: so i'm working on a 4 wheeled lightweight rig now.

Then I found a downed electrical cable in my yard.

So instead of doing all that, I think I'll just busy myself by having anxiety!!

did you know that there is love in this universe too? there are small creatures here called cats and when i pet them with my hand they are soft and it brings me great comfort. and i can tuck myself into my bed and be all nice and warm and know peace for a while. may the storm let up soon

The wind kept me up - the flashes of light too. This message is a nice thing to wake up to - it’s a comforting thought :) and I know cats haha! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen one!

And yeah, I hope the storm starts to ease. I’m very tired, and it’s hard to get to sleep. Here’s how it looks on my end - it’s nice to know that there’s love out there.

picture taken 5 minutes before discovering a wasp nest in the kennel

#dogs #my dog <3 #argentashes #AJFJGJJF it was a small nest that as far as we could tell had only one big (queen?) wasp in it #the dog doesnt often use her kennel (she sleeps indoors) but last night she kept going in and out and we were like ? #and we thought there was a toy in there and um. mom accidentally crushed the wasp nest in her hand #i dont hate wasps btw but i dont want my dog to get stung by a big wasp + if it had been daytime we would have figured out a peaceful way #to move it out of the dogs kennel #but by the time we realised... it had already been crushed and the wasp was Angry and we ended up chasing it away and clearing the remains #we thought it was a hornet actually bc it was a Big Wasp but after frantic googling we thiiiink it may have been a queen wasp building nest #altho we didnt find eggs in the nest remains..... #anyway! #this picture is very funny to me x

i'm rereading pet sematary (my favorite stephen king) for the first time in four years and as much as i still love it as a story about death and grief and whatever,,,,,,,,,,,, i can't help noticing that there wouldn't be any problems at all if these people had simply kept their fucking cat inside

I’m still in such disbelief of the misinformation around Covid protection and just basic lack of knowledge around what a vaccine does… like when people still don’t understand that being vaccinated doesn’t actually prevent the virus from getting in your body, it’s no surprise that they are so opposed to masks and are acting careless, and it’s just a sign that there’s a HUGE failure in clear communication around a major health issue on a global scale. Add to that the WHO dropping the emergency level, most people now think the virus is just gone… ANYWAY-
