#xenia.txt #when i tell you this case keeps me up at night to this day #not even the murders themselves as much as the general public's reception to and opinions on the case 3 decades later like #i get why it;s always been so divisive especially after the pl docus came out (lots of opinions on those btw none of them are good #from the bottom of my heart fuck you joe berlinger and bruce sinofsky) #but it's truly baffling how no one is willing to do the research on what is arguably THE most well documented true crime case in recent #history like. everything that's ever been released to the general public is available online and i mean everything #you can find all the court files trial transcripts depositions interogation tapes aerial photos you name it it's out there for anyone with #internet connection to access at any and all hours of the day #and yet people are still foaming at the mouth fighting on reddit abt their innocence based off nothing but a couple of movies like #bffr with me right now!! almost every point the innocenters make can be easily debunked by scrolling through callahan for 15 minutes #'but they've been pushing for dna testing since their release so they can't be guilty' baby the case is closed! #it's been closed the second they took the plea. they can be striking under that courthouse and it still won't change a thing and they knowi #that's why they're pushing for it in the first place but that's just my opinion #^ and i say they but it's really only echols which makes a lot of sense to me personally #and if you want to talk abt dna testing let's talk abt the one that was done in 2011 and how the defense hurried to propose the plea as soo #as they got the results! let's talk abt those cause no one's ever seen them and i would very much like to #braga share the results the people want to know!! #makes me wonder which pieces of evidence they even submitted for that 2011 testing because if i'm remembering correctly #there was one that would've closed this case instantly and maybe that's why the results were never disclosed and the plea was rushed #but that's also just my opinion #and it's also interesting how the majority of people who have in fact deep dived into this case #(and i'm not talking abt big true crime youtubers as i'm very sceptical abt their research abilities) #all collectively lean towards guilty. much to think about #i was hoping someone would make another ~actually~ unbiased documentary for the 30th anniversary and go over all the case files #but i don't think that's even realistic at this point seeing as everyone and their mother has some sort of an opinion on this case #hbo deserves another lawsuit for this. they should've never won the first one in the first place #true crime tw

Part 5 of my Canon Rdr2 Horses - The Murder Twins

Those two, still have my heart. Technically I already had them before Buell but I wanted them to be the last part before the time skip.

Like I already said I played most Story missions with Korra but the more story passed the more I started to stall main quests and focused on side quest. It was during a hunting trip in Big Valley that I suddenly stumbled upon a black American Standardbreed mare.

True black horses are my absolute favorite color so of course I cought and tamed her and made her my new main horse. It took me a while to settle on a name but I thought I already have a Korra so lets name her Asami.

Not long after I stumbled over another black Standard breed close to Fort Riggs, this time a stallion. Normally I never owned the same horse in the same color twice but for him I made an exception, named him Mako and had him as my constant temporary horse.

I spent so many hours with the murder twins, my nickname for them, while I finished most of the challenges, some Achievements and some collection side quests, and the second half of the Chapter 6 quests, I think I got them around the time we killed Cornwall in Annesburg till the end.

Mako is the only one I did not find a new home before starting the last quest of Chapter 6 instead he waited for me in the Beaver's Hollow camp. I like to think the rain away when the shooting started and continued to live in Roanoke Valley on his own.

Asami of course was my horse during and until the end <3

estranged is from @pocky-raisin-fanart-blog's Estranged (soon to be Burnout) mod, where you play as one of artificer's pups! they're a wee exploding baby who doesn't know where they're going. i had the yarn on hand and figured i'd use it to figure out the rest of the slugcat pattern i've been working on. now that estranged is finished, the pattern is about done! expect a release soon :)

On a brighter note I've taken to cleaning and reorganising the kitchen since I'm the one that mainly uses it now and it gives me serotonin to see my baking supply all neat and tidy.

Last week I tried my hand at making a no bake matcha cheesecake and a matcha bread with red bean paste yeee

#doing the braid for the bread was fun and it turned out pretty #the only thing i don't like about making bread though is that i can't tell when it's proofed enough lol #also the no bake matcha cheesecake turned out nice although the cream cheese was a lil strong #but the recipe had an oreo crust so that balanced it a bit #i also made a brownie style batter with ube extract instead of cocoa powder and i could've sworn i took a photo??? #but welp the photo is gone to the void somewhere #it was very purple and i remembered in that moment why i hate doing brownies #and that's because of the bake time lol #anyway that's been my current adventures in baking 🤡🫡 #also had a rare moment 2 days where i decided to just clean out the bathroom's sink cupboard/drawers at 2am #which took like 3 hours at which point i also decided to sweep and mop the house #cause apparently i can't clean at normal hours

The management at my old apartment stole my fucking bike

#apparently theyve been mass 'confiscating' bikes off peoples porches without telling anyone that theyre taking them #i dont know how long mine has been gone bc i didnt notice it was missing until i went to load it into my car to move it #but if its been more than (i think) 30 days then it would be considered forfeit and they would have already sold/claimed/trashed it by now #my gf and i saw a whole pile of 20+ confiscated bikes near the maintenance building but it doesnt look like mine was in it #i called them today to ask about it and they told me that for them to look for it i would need to provide a photo to prove its mine?? #its MY bike! you stole it off my porch. how tf was i supposed to know that i needed to take a picture of it beforehand #they told us we can go check out the pile so me and my gf are gonna go look more thoroughly now that we're officially allowed #but if its IN the maintenance building we wont be able to find it #and if they already sold it or took it home with them or threw it away then it also wont be there #and i cant even ask them to confirm when they took it / if its already gone #bc it looks like theyve been doing this with dozens of bikes over the past few months so how would they even remember one specific one #what the fuck #rambling #also to be clear: they arent being confiscated BECAUSE theyre on the porches #the bikes are supposed to be under the stairwell and thats where mine was #my neighbors who leave their kids bikes piled on their side in the yard got to keep theirs #theyve been doing unscheduled porch painting without any sort of warning or notice on and off since like december tho #so my only guess is that they decided since they werent giving us any notice to move our stuff off the porch ahead of time #they decided to just move straight into confiscating everything off of the porches and hoping no one would call them out on it #which is fucking bullshit
