Sander Voice Claim

While I don’t have a video with voice lines for this sort of thing like other people have done with their OCs, I would like to say that for my TW OC Sander Erickson, his seiyuu would be Shouta Aoi.

Yes, that is the same seiyuu for Ortho. But unlike Ortho’s robotic/child-like voice, what I imagine with Sander’s voice is it being more soft-spoken and gentle like Ai Mikaze from Uta no Prince Sama, Rui Minaduki from Tsukiuta, Tsukushi Monet from Magic Kyun Renaissance, and Rentaro Taki from Meiji Tokyo Renka. Also, because with Chapter 5 being out and the characters singing, the seiyuu would stay the same and he’d retain that gentle softness but can hit high notes with his singing like Ai, Rui, Monet, and Snow White/Shirayuki from Taisho x Alice as well. I wanted him to have an innocent, angelic/Disney Princess-like voice especially when singing, considering his inspiration and personality after all. Here are examples of how Sander would sing pretty much.

『荒城の月』は、1901年に発表された、土井晩翠作詞・瀧廉太郎作曲による歌曲。哀調をおびたメロディと歌詞が特徴。七五調の歌詞（今様形式）と西洋音楽のメロディが融合した楽曲。特に、日本で作曲された初めての西洋音楽の歌曲とされ、日本の歴史的に重要な曲であるそうです。（wikipediaより）

なんとも寂漠としたとした思いに駆られる曲ですが、この作詩の背景は、近代化によって去り往く徳川の世を偲ぶ日本の風情に満ち満ちていると言うことで、虚無僧にもピッタリではないでしょうか。

三段階に音階が上がっていきます！

1の楽譜の「ツの中（ちゅう）メリ」は読んで字の如く、中くらいにメルということです。

一の穴を開放したまま顎でメるか、もしくは薬指で穴をかざして軽くメル。

This is not a drill! They finally announced something new on the game front with Meiji Tokyo Renka!

They’re going to make a new game called Meiji Tokyo Renka ~High Color Diet~ and three new characters have been announced - Ozaki Koyo, Kyoya’s mentor, Taki Rentaro, who appears to be a composer, and Yokoyama Taikan, Shunsou’s classmate. (Koyo-sensei and Taikan have been mentioned in previous games. But this is going to be the first time we get sprites.)

The game is set to be released as an app - iOS, Android - sometime this Summer.

Jinsei Hono Jigumi Vol 1: This guy, on the road to seriousness.

((hi guys, this is part 1 of 3 of my Naoki Special! Please enjoy!))

Naoki and I have been working together as members of EXILE and as leaders in 3JSB. Since we were in both teams, we’ve spent a lot of time together, so much so that within a year people were saying things like “You guys are totally dating right”.

This guy…he’s totally serious.

Up till now he’s the No. 1 most serious guy that I know of.

That would be possible. In middle school he was of course, not just the class representative, but also the one administrating all the class reps of that year.

This Naoki, even though he has these tightly strapped muscles, oozing an aura not to be messed with, he was surprisingly in his middle school’s choir ensemble.

There was once I got to see a photo from his middle school days, I thought, isn’t that Taki Rentaro!? Or wait, with those glasses, isn’t that Endo Shusaku!? From the side, it looks like he has been possessed by that person from Edvard Munch’s [Scream].

No no wait, even with the beautiful lyrics from Taniguchi Juntaro’s music, he could sing with that wild destructive look in his face!! He must have been performing with all his might (lol)

I think I might just die laughing!!

Even after going to a stageplay or a movie together, his commentary is really great.

It gets pretty deep (lol)

I wanted to ask, how are you able to enjoy the show if you think so deeply about things that the director and actors wouldn’t have considered? Though, this guy really lets his imagination run wild.

Anyway he’s totally serious.

I did something one day. It wasn’t malicious or anything. I just had an urge to play a prank on Naoki for fun.

I really liked Attack on Titan, so I recommended it to Naoki and lent him the first volume. Then when volume 2 and 3 were released, I was reading volume 3 in the rest area one day.

“Huh? Volume 3 has been released? Could you lend it to me again, Naoto-san?”

He asked. So I said “Sure, but Volume 2 is at home so I’ll bring it tomorrow.”

At that moment, I had an idea.

What if I put Volume 2's cover over Volume 3 and lend that to him?

For those who read manga, I’m sure you understand that it’s annoying if the story suddenly shoots forward halfway and you know what’s going to happen, right. Also, the target is Naoki.

It’s totally terrible! Also Volume 2 is super important (lol)

All the more I wanted to do it.

I kept that plan to myself.

The next day I pumped my chest, and snuck out with the fake Volume 2.

After work, in the car on the way back,

I gave Naoki the fake volume 2 with an inviting face.

He said happily,

“I’ll read it when I get home!”

And he went off with a smile on his face.

But then, we had a filming the next day. We were supposed to get up at 5am the next day, so that meant we only had about 3 hours of sleep…you mean Naoki was going to sacrifice his precious sleeping time to finish reading that manga? Then in that moment he’ll also realize that he’s been actually reading volume 3 (lol).

I really pity him!

What kind of face will he make? I kept thinking so excitedly that I was the one who was going to have a restless night instead, so I forced myself to sleep and the next morning came…

I got into the pickup first, then when Naoki got in…

It’s so exciting…now then, the time has finally come!

Come at me!

Let me have it!

My impish conscience is brimming!

……

“Good morning”.

Hm?

That ended up normal.

What?

The hell?

Isn’t there supposed to be more!! Like:

“What did you do during that busy period before shooting?”

Or

“I was so bothered I went to raid the city BOOKOFF in the middle of the night!!”

Isn’t there…

Even though I did all that there’s no reaction?

Oh! Don’t tell me…he didn’t read it!

What the heck, that’s really cold~

What if he’s really mad?

By the way, Naoki is surprisingly short-tempered (lol)

If that’s so, it means that this NAOTO-san has done something real weird!

Yeah, isn’t it just understandably some fun as an adult!?

I ended up agonizing on my own.

Me: “Naoki, did you read the manga?”

Naoki: “Huh? Ah, yeah I did! It was super interesting! That was a development I didn’t expect!”

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!?

You’re kidding right?

It shouldn’t be that interesting!

D-don’t tell me, this guy just managed to forcefully connect Volume 1 and 3!! (mindblown)

He’s totally the Master of Imagination! I bet he examined it so hard, he thought that taking away that part of the story was the author’s intention, or thought there was some real meaning behind it while reading it!

I’ll say this again. ARE YOU THAT SERIOUS!?

ALSO THAT’S QUITE COOL!?

Me: “Actually that’s the 3rd volume.”

Naoki: “EHHH!? Really!? I thought it was weird-.”

Somehow I was the one who felt guilty.

Naoki-san, please continue with that loveable serious character.
