Sorry for the crazy rambling but i need to put it out somewhere (jsyk i don't even read your answers, probably very condescending).

News flash : Timmy went back once again to fucking Daniella. Things seem to be very chaotic between them and i think everytime they're back on, she criticizes him for not being invested enough and basically just wanting to fuck her.

Like, a few days ago when T posted the chanel pics they were back on (she liked some pics, none of Armie's friends did), then Ryan posted a meme about passive aggressiveness (aka "it's fine") and one about a "Deluxe model".

Then just 2-3 days later, things seemed to turn sour between T&D : jps posted "let us leave pretty women to men with no imagination" and "don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it, because what the world needs is people who have come alive". Tyler also reposted a video with someone saying "i love you but i release you (...)" with the caption "i would love to see this dude try this" (could be referring to T telling this to D, although to me he doesn't actually love her). Ryan posted a meme that made me laugh: "anyway if both my unions are on strike, and you see my feet on Onlyfans, no you didn't" (cause at the same time this is all happening, a&t are still in contact, but a doesn't wanna have his heart broken up again by t admitting to him that he's back with d).

Then we got jps posting about someone not doing what they're supposed to do by fear (in this context referring to Tim being honest and leaving D once for all) : "fear is incomplete knowledge" , "a man grows most tired by standing still" and " a day can really slip by when you're avoiding what you're supposed to do".

Now, one thing that really surprised me is that Stéphane seems to be pushing that relationship between D and T : Yesterday and the day before, he posted stories at the EXACT same time D made her posts (once, it could have been a coincidence, not twice), as in to show Timmy that he's on her side.

But finally, you wanna know what i believe happened (like yesterday)?

Timmy as the dumbfuck that he is, went back once again to her 💀

He obviously told Armie, who then told Ryan, hence his meme this morning of the american guy saying "no thanks" to a brain.

He also told jps who just posted : "the man who lies to himself can be more easily offedend that anyone" and "everybody said follow your heart, i did, it got broken".

So yeah, Timmy prefers to lie to himself and pretend to his friends that he loves this girl, than being honest and vulnerable and go back with his one true love.

I pulled them from an old game and tossed them into baldur's gate just for funsies and it's, uuuuuuh, going GREAT. They are not stressed about protecting everyone to the detriment of themself AT ALL (LOL). I actually didn't intend for them to go paladin when I first started playing them. I actually had planned to multi-class into druid. (Because I like to smack things with my BEAR hands. ...yeah, I'll see myself out.) Then my spouse and I got to talking about 'what would you be if you ended up being transported into this game' and while I would 'choose' druid or ranger (or perhaps bard) that wasn't 'technically' the question. So after a lot of self analyzing we both agreed (with gritted teeth) that we have some really strong paladin tendencies. Adding it to the character actually kind of made them more interesting to play (and more frustrating sometimes lol but I like the complexity) so its been fun. Anyhow the textures on this thing took me three days and my hands are cramped into claws. I 'forgot' that I could make shape into a brush (sadly) and did a bunch by hand before I got wise. I also forgot (for a while) that I have a lovely bunch of texture brushes from True Grit Texture Supply and those also helped save my sanity. (also it made it deliciously crunchy looking. Very happy.) It was a big debate on whether to leave the line art on or to take it off to get more of a dragon age 2 cut-out art look to it. I ended up keeping the lines (obviously) but I'm still mentally debating on which was better. (honestly I just wanted to be DONE) The tarot card, btw, that I used as inspiration was the ten of wands (which is why I went with ten hands) because I felt like it was fitting. I think I might do this for a few of my other tabletop characters because as eye strain inducing as it was I REALLY like the style and result. (and who hasn't put up with horrible things for AESTHETICS???? admit it, we all do it lol)

Anyhow, please admire the result of forty+ hours of me squinting at a screen.

I usually don't make post like this, and I hoped I would never have to but here we go.

I recently made a reel that everyone's been loving (the one with Az and the Lilo and Stich audio) and on Insta and tumblr its been doing really well. However, since I don't post videos/reels very often at all, I forgot to post it to my TikTok as well.

This morning, one of my friends in our group chat notified me that someone had reposted that reel to TikTok and asked if they had asked permission to do so. I said no, they hadn't. But at the time my Insta bio said "credit and tag if you repost" Which I assumed was what happened in this case. I took the L on the lost engagement and let it go.

When my friend initially found them, she reached out to the poster, told them to please credit me in the caption. The poster said "Thanks for letting me know" and I thought it was all good. Later tonight I took a look at the actual TikTok only to find that I had been credited in the comments 10 HOURS after the initial posting. By then the damage had already been done. I did find they credited my Instagram earlier, but it was buried so deep in the comments section, there's no way anyone could find it. There's no reason for me to not have been credited in the caption.

I had posted it to Tiktok after the initial notification of the theft and the difference in engagement is staggering. Their post got a whopping 29k likes and 300 comments. Mine? 7 likes, 1 comment.

Not only that, but the thief, (who on TikTok is @imaginethislifewithme or Sofia) made a few replies in the comments that gave the impression that she was taking credit.

Because of all of this my policy on reposting has completely changed and is not allowed at all. It's EASY to reblog, share media you like from the original artist. There's no need to repost. Even if you cant find their profile on whatever social, you can still GO TO THE ARTIST, ASK, and if they say yes, they'll inform you on how to properly tag them. It's not that hard.

As an artist who is 1: paying a LOT of money to improve my craft in art school, and 2: is working hard to build their brand, this is INCREDIBLY discouraging and I am certain I am not the first or the last person this will happen to. All I hope is to bring awareness to help ensure this doesn't happen to others. I'm really disappointed in this fandom today.

Repost because I fucked up the quality, plus forgot their crown and I could do better with the caption.

So here’s a little background for this image, other than it’s just a cool as fuck painting of Sterling. (Feel free to scroll down to see the WIP and time laps if you don’t feel like reading about it)

For last few levels I had the, replace their staff with a scimitar, hoping to do a fun built of a melee Druid. And while it worked good for the most time, I’ve realized that it wasn’t as functional as I wanted it to be and Sterling only got more and more damaged with each fight. So I switched up to a different tactic: keeping distance and using a thorn whip with a few other Druid spells. And finally, it worked! Managed to get some good damage done with it. And while I know it’s because of how I built them mechanically, I couldn’t help but to find a way to tie it in with them on a character level.

You see, the issues started popping out somewhere during the Grymforge mission, and that’s also when Sterling was at a low point with how strained they felt with the hero stuff. And it hit me. They do not feel comfortable with the idea of a sword swinging hero who saves everyone. In fact, said approach only caused them to become weaker and weaker in combat. Only once they decided to keep their distance and focus on survival they finally flourished in combat.

Which honestly, reflects their morals. Like, they are not a big hero. Never wanted to be one. Yes, they’re all for supporting and helping the little ones and those they feel a bit of attachment to. But the moment they have to sacrifice themselves for something, they’re going to run away and do the selfish thing. Because that’s how they survived until now, so they know that this works. Maybe someday they’ll grow enough to be able to handle the bigger picture, but for now? They have a tadpole in their head and should focus on that.

George’s passionate speech was actually in Hungary 2020. He outqualified Alex which was obviously…not good for Alex… and when he got asked by Sky he told them Red Bull are making Alex look stupid because he’s so talented and it’s obvious they’re not giving him the same car and that they should sort it out for him. Idk if there’s enough Daniel/George moments? I mean they’ve only been friends properly since F1 whereas George and Alex have nearly 20 years of stuff to use 😂 I should have included George moving in with the Albons but I forgot 😭 and I also should have included LA and Alex reposting the lingerie edit 🤦🏼‍♀️

something i completely forgot about tumblr is like. this post format is so good for... posting literally anything. mainly, as i thought about this, my focus was on the fact that it was especially good for flash fiction due to its much bigger character limit, but...

on twitter every post is just about the arrangement of 240 characters. you can post images, videos, and gifs, sure. but those are secondary to the caption. they’re tacked underneath the words you might or might not put over them. on tumblr, the type of content you’re looking to post always comes first - you will always see images and videos first before their captions, quotes are in large text, and so on.

honestly, i feel like this type of format should be so much better for creators, because it puts a bigger focus on what you have made. on twitter people had to deal with their artwork being cropped into a thumbnail - to the point there were workarounds being implemented to ‘cheat’ this, to get the Cropping Detection to focus on the part of your art you wanted it to - until very recently. even then, artwork had a shelf life to the point people were more often encouraged to repost their works for new engagement instead of just boosting the original post.

but tumblr has never cropped images; even when they’re in a photoset, you get the full pieces, and they’re displayed before anything else. you can post as long of a snippet of your own writing as you want before putting a readmore over the rest of it or linking to where the rest of it can be read or bought offsite. most importantly, there’s never a need to reupload posts - there’s always a chance someone will see your post in the tags you used and share it, or you can just reblog it for more visibility.

i really hope this site flourishes with creativity again. there’s not a lot of online spaces anymore that are friendly to not just artists, but the people who want to support their work too.

posting hiyoko zine stuff on chiaki (and chihiro)'s birthday (late bday it's 1am in japan oops) because i was assigned chiaki in hiyoko zine lol (so yea happy birthday to chiaki and chihiro!) yes this is inspired by the (bonus?) chapter 3 cg when they were performing in titty typhoon, and oh crap i just realized i forgot to draw hair highlights for chiaki💀and ibuki's hair was a lot of fun! thanks to the hiyoko zine team for having me, i also made a sticker for the zine which will be out soon i think? there's a preview of it inside the zine though so be sure to check it out!
