I cannot calculate how many hours, days, months and even blood has taken me to finish this jacket, but it was absolutely worth it. Every time I wear it I instantly feel a little piece of reputation tour in my skin, and I think its the closest feeling of a Taylor hug I will ever be. My first Taylor show was literally a dream, every time I think about I got chills and it's like it never happened, like ever. I needed to remember it somehow so I decided to start to make this jacket despite the fact that I had never sewn in my life. I bought the jacket and some patches in aliexpress but then.....surprise! I discovered the rep patches were sold out in the Taylor store. GREAT. So I had to hand-embroidered them by myself! This was the reason it took me AGES to get this jacket done. It turned out that my embroidering skills were not bad so I decided (bc why not) to embroider the golden crown too. The snake was also a NIGHTMARE...more than 400 sequins hand-stitched to it. Hope you guys like it and it would mean the WORLD to me if you tag @taylorswift @taylornation Hope Taylor would see this someday 🥰💗💗

As soon as I walked in the room taylor said “HEYYYY YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL” she must’ve seen how shook I was because she said ‘’aww don’t be nervous, I’m nervous too!! I’ve never played a stadium show in ireland before’’ she scooped me in for a hug and she hugged me so tightly and wouldn’t let go until I did. I thanked her for giving up living a normal life just to bring so much happiness and light into ours and she said “you’re so sweet no one’s ever thanked me for giving up a normal life before in the 15 years I’ve been doing this”

I told her how proud I am of her and how I can’t even imagine how hard it must get at times and that I’ll stand by her forever and she put her hands on her chest and said “you’re so sweet and empathetic, I love you” she hugged me again before we took our picture which- again she hugged me so tightly for. 

She listened to every word I had to say, she never broke eye contact and she made me feel so special. Security started rushing us after the picture was taken since I’d already been there for quite a while longer than I probably should’ve so I said I love you, she said I love you too and went in for a last hug.

I just turned away to start walking out but she started another conversation with me instead, “heyyy, are you going to the show tomorrow as well?!” I said yes and she asked what seats I had so she could look out for me in the crowd and then we started talking about the show tonight and where I’d be and then the last thing I said was “see you on tumblr?!” and she replied with “YAAAAASSSS SEE YOU ON THE INTERNET” and she started doing this cute little dance whilst looking SO HAPPY. 

Getting to meet her after 9 years truly meant everything and more to me and the fact that it happened on my 22nd birthday just makes it more special and to then walk out of that room to see her perform in a stadium in front of 80 000 people was absolutely incredible and to think that she wanted to meet me out of all these people is just so insane to think about but I’m truly so grateful and I’ll always remember this.

@taylorswift Thank you so much for everything, I’ll hold on to you and this memory forever. You mean the absolute world to me.

Hi everyone. I’m sorry I haven’t been online for these past few days, but it’s been hard for me to see anything Taylor related since the Dublin show. First of all, thank you so much for reblogging my tour post, it meant the world to me and I’ll be forever grateful. I want to tell you what happened, because I think you deserve to know, and I can’t keep this to myself anymore. I know there could be consequences from posting this, but I just don’t want this to happen to anyone, because no one deserves this. @taylorswift I’ve been thinking a lot about writing this to you as well. I don’t know if you will ever read this, or your team, but I need to get this out of my head or I’ll go crazy.  I got a DM from Taylor Nation on Thursday, the day before the  first show in Dublin, and naturally I got super excited. The thing is, they never called me. I got the message at 5:20 pm and  I replied shortly after with the information they needed. I told them I was available until 7:30/8pm because I was catching my flight to Dublin at that time. Then I waited for a call that never came. I arrived in Dublin that night and thought that maybe I would get a call on Friday morning, but that didn’t happen either. Around 3pm I sent another message asking if there was something wrong with the information I provided. And TN replied that they would contact me in the next few days. I don’t know why TN would send me a message on Thursday, possibly knowing that I was attending Friday’s show, if not with the purpose of giving me a chance to meet you @taylorswift. I have been completely in love with your music, and you, since I was 12 years old, and this was the first time I was able to see one of your shows live, and what should’ve been the best night of my life, turned into the most horrible situation ever. I couldn’t get this out of my head throughout the whole show and it just ruined this experience for me. The show was amazing obviously, but I just felt like shit the whole time. It was still the best show I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and I’m so grateful that I had the chance to finally see you after 10 years. I just wish it didn’t have to be like this. I’m trying to find reasons to understand what happened, but I just can’t. That’s why I haven’t been online. I’ve been struggling with this, but I’m better now.  Maybe I’m just unlucky, or maybe that message was a mistake, or TN forgot to call me, or they thought I was going to a different show, but I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone again. I don’t know what went wrong, but I’m okay. I hope you know how much you mean to me Taylor, I hope I’ll meet you one day. I’ll always love you and support you no matter what. 

To Taylor Nation, I know you don’t owe me anything, but contacting me the day before the show I was attending, getting my hopes up, and then not calling and messaging me on the day of the show saying you will contact me in the next few days, which you didn’t by the way, is just horrible. You need to be more careful with what you’re doing.

A letter to Taylor <3

Hey @taylorswift my name is Julia! I am 21 and I come from Italy. 

I’ve been listening to your music since I was 11, so this year marks our 10th anniversary! Me being a fan goes back to You Belong With Me, I was in 6th grade when it came out and I remember watching the music video and literally getting obsessed with your music. 

When I was 17 I was lucky enough to live for a whole year in the United States in Colorado and that’s the year 1989 came out. My American best friend and I would just jam to your songs every single time we were together, during volleyball and soccer practice or every time we were in a car together. You gave us so many good memories together! 

You and your music have been with me in so many moments of my life, you have been my constant. You got me through the darkest periods of my life but also through my happiest ones. you were there when I lost my best friend cause she decided I wasn’t enough for her. She was the only person I could truly speak to and I could totally feel myself around her, but she decided she wanted more and our friendship wasn’t good enough for her. You were there with your music when I first fell in love and got my heart broke. You were there when I graduated high school and never thought I would. You were there when I was totally alone at 17 in a new country, didn’t know anyone, everyone spoke a different language and my whole family and friends were an ocean apart. You were there when I started college and felt like everything was changing and didn’t know what to do. You were ALWAYS there. I remember getting upset cause people couldn’t understand how important you are for me and in those moments I just plugged my headphones in and the rest of the world would simply disappear. There are times when I feel so lonely the only thing I want to do is listening to your music cause I feel like you are right there talking to me. You’re like a friend I can always count on. I admire you for your path, for always being your true self. You are my number one and I couldn’t be more proud of having you as my role model. You’re my source of inspiration and I love the way you fought against those who couldn’t see the light in you or didn’t recognize your talent. You kept singing and doing what you do best made you different from all of them. 

In June I traveled to Dublin to see my first ever Taylor Swift concert (cause I had just flown home from Denver when you had you 1989 concerts there). I remember being so nervous I don’t even know why and it was the best night I have ever had. That was my biggest dream getting true!! When you first came on the stage I couldn’t believe it was actually true, it was really happening. I started crying so freaking much and I couldn’t stop. I loved everything about your concert and I wished it could have last forever, I never wanted it to be over. That night I knew our story wasn’t over. 

I immediately looked for new tickets for another show and this time…

I’ll be traveling all the way to Tampa to see you on August 14th😻  

I’ll be there with my mom and we’ll be sitting in section F, Row 10, Seat 1 and 2. 

I really can’t wait to see you again and sing my heart out to all your songs!! And it is just 35 days away!!

When reputation meets Lover 😂😂💗💗 It's been a whole week since Lover came out and the album is SO GOOD like... THE LYRICS THO. But tbh it is taking me some time to process it and adapt myself to it bc conceptually and musically it's worlds away from reputation, and I'm too attached to rep. Like, rep is my damn life anthem.

I'm pretty sure I will love Lover as much as rep bc I think that these albums are the two sides of the same coin, the end of a decade and the start of an age 💗💗💗 .
