Introductory post!
Hi and welcome to my blog :)
I’ve been in a fair share of situations- some good and some bad, and I know by experience that some people don’t even realize they’re coping unhealthily until someone points it out to them :(.
And that’s why I wanted to speak about coping mechanisms for my Social Action Project. During these few years of lockdown, I had many mental health ups and downs. My family suffered losses of loved ones that took a toll on all of us mentally, and I’m sure many others around the world went through similar, if not worse, situations. Resilience is a very necessary quality to have, but how should we bounce back from these stressful situations if we cant cope with them healthily?
Along the course of this blog, I will be talking about the importance of having a healthy coping mechanism, answering a few questions that I picked up while I was doing my research for this project, as well as talking about my coping mechanism, art, and how it helps me cope.
I hope this blog ends up proving useful to somebody :)                                           sending love.

Rise up
Next is a quote from a fighting spirit quote from Andra Day’s Rise Up. Whenever you feel burn out, recovering from a fall... when you wake up and you’re not sure you can carry yourself through the day:
You're broken down and tired Of living life on a merry go round And you can't find the fighter But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out And move mountains
You're broken down and tired Of living life on a merry go round And you can't find the fighter But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out And move mountains And I'll rise up I'll rise like the day I'll rise up I'll rise unafraid I'll rise up And I'll do it a thousand times again
And I'll rise up High like the waves I'll rise up In spite of the ache I'll rise up And I'll do it a thousand times again
For you

It Doesn't Need to Work Out
An anxious person's response to the "What if you just tell yourself the opposite?" Approach to anxious thinking, and argument for walking away from things you no longer find fulfilling or meaningful.
Daily writing promptDescribe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.View all responses “What if it doesn’t work out?”“But have you tried asking if it does?” Often when we are confronted with a challenging or unproductive mindset, the most immediate impulse is to reach for the opposite. What if it does all work out? Have you tried looking on the bright side? What do I…

Tunde Imann Writing Challenge Day 8 🥲
Prompt: What is your relationship to failure
I’m so glad I failed. Failure has brought me so many blessings. Failure gave me an out. Failure brought me freedom. Failure took my ego. Failure broke me down. Failure gave me courage. I can’t go back to caring about what other people think of me because failure gave me clarity.
Over the last two years, whew, I’m crying. I don’t know what affirmation I said or what I wrote, but my life started “crumbling.” Let everyone else tell it; I fell off, was making the wrong decisions. According to my own grandfather, I was “lowering myself.” To me, it didn’t feel like that. Granted, the loss of many, many, many, many, many things that were once cornerstones of my reality hurt me—real bad. Outside of that, though, I was just listening to an inner guidance. I started meeting the coolest people. I somehow started living a life that was only in my dreams. I just could have never expected life to turn out like this. Before failure, I thought I was this master planner. If I have a plan, then nothing could go wrong. (LOL)
These days I don’t care for plans. I have goals, sure, but those are always changing. These days I just go with what feels right. I can trust I’m always where I’m supposed to be. Failure gave me peace. Failure made me confident. It healed my relationship with mom. Failure took away all the fucks I had left to give. My life is my own, and I owe it all to failure.

Heart so hollow deep as a cave
One day I'll be dancing on your grave
Taking it back the life you stole
Every little piece you took of my soul
Now I lay you down to sleep
And pray with the devil
You rest in peace
"You can't hang your chains on me
When your six feet deep
This heart ain't yours to bleed
Now that yours no longer beats
Hallelujah, I'm over you yeah
I buried you, oh Lord, you're dead to me
Rest in peace
Black umbrella
In the pouring rain
No preacher, no prayer
To cry your name
A little to late to right your wrongs
No one's laying roses on your bones
No tears no loving memories
Long is the road out of hell and the misery
So by my decree"

The Lessons of Defeat: How Losing Builds Self-Reliance
Losing is an inevitable aspect of life, be it in sports, relationships, or professional endeavors. Yet, it is in these moments of defeat that we are presented with an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and ultimately, self-reliance.
In the wake of the Super Bowl showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the air is thick with celebration, disappointment, and reflection. While the Chiefs emerge victorious, their triumph illuminates a valuable lesson that extends far beyond the confines of the football field: the importance of dealing with defeat and the resilience it fosters. Losing is an inevitable…

Battle of Vahe Imperial Gardens
Today, let us take a look at a tale of resilience, unity, and victory for the people. The Battle of Vahe Imperial Gardens was an epic struggle that showcased the power of collective action against a deceitful real estate developer. In this blog post, we will look into the inspiring story of how consumers joined forces to reclaim their rights, protect their community, and bring justice to those who sought to exploit them.
The Rise of Vahe Imperial Gardens:
Vahe Imperial Gardens, a once-promising housing project, had captured the dreams of numerous families seeking their own piece of heaven. With grand promises of luxurious amenities, lush greenery, and a serene lifestyle, the real estate developer lured in potential buyers from all walks of life. Excitement and anticipation filled the air as people eagerly invested their hard-earned savings into what they believed was their future sanctuary.
The Deceptive Web Unraveled:
However, as construction progressed, so did the cracks in the developer's facade. Soon, residents began to notice discrepancies between the glossy brochures and the ground reality.

This is a great reading from the SPAD book. Several points in my journey I have experienced these feelings. Starting over is simple, not always easy, but simple. I get to a meeting, make that call and get back to basics. . #spiritualprincipleaday #spad #resillience #startoveragain #keepcomingback #narcoticsanonymous (at Kitchener, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClAmluFsAWW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I Never Wish to Be Called Resilient Again
Why do we feel guilt when it comes to change? We become so wrapped in what we are letting go of that we sometimes forget what we are running toward. How do you release guilt? How do you move forward from what you've always known? Let's discuss this.
Daily writing promptWhat was the best compliment you’ve received?View all responses “I just have to say, I’m so proud of you for being so strong and living all on your own, leaving just because you were unhappy.
