I think this is based on a little snippet of the fic that @ressyfaerie wrote for me (in which Brooklyn simply spoke to Mariah and Ray got jealous), but I’m imagining Brooklyn flirting with Mariah in a charming, debonair way, and Ray getting absolutely furious like “Stay the fuck away from her!!” And maybe breaking a table or something in his fury. I imagine knowing that Brooklyn has a history of being dangerous would make Ray even more freaked out about this.

After finishing up my fanfiction novel that is Tattoos, I'm finally opening my askbox again!

Haven't been here since the last time?

No problem! In short, I open my askbox for a limited amount of time. Promising to write nearly any *bakuten shoot* beyblade prompt! Creating your own personalized ficlet (tiny fanfiction) for free!

(I still hold the ability to reject any prompts that I find uncomfortable, but I'll still try my hand at any pairing, scene, etc!)

This is your opportunity to get a scene you never got to see in the show? Or an unusual pairing? A continuation of a chapter of a fic I've done before? So many options!

I'm making this post nearly a week in advance so everyone has a chance to get those ideas flowing!

Here's a link to my archive, with examples of what I've done in the past!

Reminder* I'll only do original series beyblade, as I'm unfamiliar with anything metal fight etc.

Remember to mention in the ask if you prefer dub or sub names! (English or Japanese)

Here's mine: Hiromi x Ming-Ming. Hiromi becomes Ming Ming's new assistant, she needed a new job and landed on this one but she hates Idol culture. (I'm just trying to birth more wlw ships into the fandom lmao)

Wow whoops I made this dirty oops I love girls oh my god i LOVE GIRLS SOOO MUCH.

She wasn’t sure how she landed this job.

There was a very specific set of events that caused this outcome.

Hiromi sat at the desk, trying to trace back the very day it started.

She was at the BBA, begging for a job. She wanted something close to her friends and teammates, but she was instead stuck on a desk job.

She worked in a lower position for a while before she quickly rose up the ranks with her perfectionism and professional aura.

Then one day she was offered a very specific position. She was told she had to keep it on the down-low. She barely knew where she was going until her first day.

If anyone had told Hiromi the details of the job she wouldn’t have taken it, but perhaps that’s why they never told her.

Hiromi sat in the back of the car. She had given the driver specific instructions. Now she just had to wait. She had her iPad on her lap. She tapped away at calendars and plans for the next few months, and even into next year.

They stopped the car outside the mansion.

Hiromi got out and waited patiently.

She crossed her arms, it was cold, and she hated waiting.

But waiting for a specific person that was always late was a part of her job.

She glanced down at her phone to check the time. At least she was getting paid.

“Hiiiroomiiii!”

The incredible high-pitched voice rang in her eardrums. She had to force herself not to cover her ears.

“Ming. Welcome back.” She opened the car door.

Ming hobbled down the stairs in her high heels. She crawled into the car. Hiromi closed the door and walked to the other side of the car, getting in beside her.

“Oh, Hiromi…”

Ming smiled and leaned against her leg.

“Ming, you need to put your seatbelt on.” Hiromi tried to reach for her iPad, but Ming swatted it away.

“Ming!” Hiromi was on her last nerve.

Ming had gone through personal assistants like chewing gum.

And now Hiromi knew why.

Ming was good at her job sure, but on top of that, she was bratty, annoying, indecisive…

While Hiromi was listing Ming’s negative qualities in her head as her form of free therapy, Ming’s expression changed.

She went from overwhelmingly silly, to sad in an instant.

Hiromi swallowed her pride, She looked down at Ming, who had nestled her bright blue hair on her lap.

“Do you think people can fall in love at first sight?”

He showed up at the hobby shop. He asked for Max, and hoped he was there.

If anyone could cheer him up right now, it was that ball of sunshine.

He heard quick stomps roaring down the stairs from behind the front desk.

Max was there, trying to hide how fast he was breathing, “Rei? Dad told me you were here—what happened?”

Rei smiled, and played it off, “nothing! I just need a break from those guys is all…”

Max could see right through him, but he wasn’t ready to push the subject.

“Want too…” Max pushed off the railing of the staircase so he was pushing himself back and forth, “come up to my room? Talk and eat some snacks?”

“I’d like that.”

Could I ask for a TyKa fic where Tyson is struggling with an eating disorder, and Kai eventually finds out and tries to help him, but Tyson at first refuses because he feels ashamed of his body and still feels bad about his weight, but after a while he lets Kai help him and Kai eventually ends up telling him that he loves him and Tyson just cries because he has had horrible self esteem for a long time and they kiss at the end?

Before I start, it sounds like this ask really came from the heart, and I want you to know that you are loved! And it’s okay to ask for help if you need it! 

Here’s some links to websites that walk you through how to find help when struggling with an eating disorder. (I did a bit of an amateur google, so if anyone has anything better to recommend let me know!

“He’s got a lot on his mind right now, Ray.” 

Ray had cornered Kai in the BBA. They were on a balcony overlooking the city. Kai wasn’t as active at the BBA as he used to be. Now that he was an aspiring businessman and all. Recently, Kai had come back when the new championship started. He would come to watch, but he would never play. And even when he did talk to his old friends and teammates, it seemed like he was avoiding it. 

Or perhaps avoiding one blader in particular…

“You guys used to hang out so much…” Ray questioned him but was a hair away from making it intimidation if necessary. 

“Yeah, we did.” Kai gazed off into the city, “after the fall of BEGA and his fight with Brooklyn. We saw each other a lot.” 

“Didn’t you even stay over at his house a few times?” 

“Sometimes. When I stayed too long and it was too late to go back home… why are you asking me these things?” Kai crossed his arms, making sure he looked aggressive. 

Ray laughed off his puppy-like intimidation tactic, “he’s just been… distant lately. And kind of off… I wanted to know if you knew anything?” 

Kai stared at him with his mouth slightly open. His mind raced with thoughts. 

“Ray… are you asking me these things because you think I’m the reason for them?” Kai was careful with the accusation, but it did seem like that’s where Ray was going. 

Ray shrugged, “do you have a reason to believe you could be the center of his problems?” 

Kai shook his head, “no. I don’t believe so.” 

Kai told the truth. When he weaned himself off of Tyson a year ago it was purely personal. And he didn’t think he had hurt Tyson since he left him so gradually. 

“I think he misses you.” 

Ray’s words hit him like a train.

He didn’t show it. 

“How do you know?” 

“He mentioned you the other day. He just wants to hang out with you the way things used to be… I guess.” 

Kai’s heart felt four times as heavy. 

Then Ray asked the words he had been dreading. 

“Why did you stop hanging out with him?”

One Beyblade character I find often overlooked is Wyatt. I think he should get a bit more attention. Perhaps you can come up with an idea for him, either about his adoration for Kai or his life after the incident with the cyber Bitbeast. I know Yuuya dies in the Japanese version, but they cut that part out of the English one. Maybe Kai visits Wyatt in a psychiatric hospital or something like that or oversees his recovery.

This is…. Fantastic. 

I love this! 

One of my favourite headcanons is that Wyatt was Kai’s first crush/boyfriend/ gay realization LOL. 

I have a good idea for this one, not AU but based off the English dub where Wyatt lives, so let’s see what I come up with! 

So I wrote it… it was uh… longer than expected. 

It really tears at the heartstrings. 

So if you want to cry, be my guest.

Too many years had passed.

Kai worried he had waited too long to come here.

Maybe Wyatt would think he was avoiding him…

Or worse.

Maybe he forgot Kai entirely.

He signed into the facility with a solemn feeling.

Kai’s stomach twisted as he was led down the hallway.

The corridors were beige, the paint was peeling, and the lights felt dim. Kai grimaced. He wanted to fight to prevent Wyatt from being sent here, but he never did.

He was ashamed.

When the workers opened the door to his room Kai stepped in.

Apparently, Wyatt wasn’t deemed dangerous, so Kai was allowed to be alone with him.

So many rules, so many regulations.

Kai’s body turned to stone when he remembered… it was all his fault.

This room didn’t have much in it. A single bed in the corner with white sheets, a window with glass that looked way too thick, and an old wooden desk.

A familiar brunette sat at the desk. He scribbled away at something. He hadn’t noticed Kai come in.

Kai coughed lightly to get his attention, then placed his hands behind his back.

Wyatt turned around abruptly.

He locked eyes with Kai—

Kai couldn’t tell what Wyatt was feeling.

To Kai, he looked shocked.

Wyatt looked him up and down, then back into his eyes.

“Kai? Is that really you?”

Hello Ressy! Hope all is well. I love the idea of bitbeast/sacred beast merging with their bladers and noticed you wrote a TyKa fic on it. May I request a sequel fic for it? (Take your time, I know you’re swamped with requests!)

Hmmm seee that problem with that fic is I really don’t have the desire to continue it… also if I did it would turn into a really looongg fic, and I don’t have the inspiration for it… As much as I would love to, I think that ficlet needs to stay as it is… 

But what I CAN do is write a scene from another weird bitbeast merging fic that is jumping around in my brain like the windows screen saver to make up for it! 

This time I think we should do Kai instead of Tyson? It’ll be a good opportunity to practice my descriptive writing!

Fire.

Red.

His skin was burning.

Since the morning he woke up, the sensation had grown in intensity.

The hair on his body prickled. His back was drenched in sweat.

After he fought Brooklyn, the symptoms had come on gradually.

But today was brutal.

Today he couldn’t take it anymore.

He fled the dojo during practice, running into the woods.

He didn’t know where he was going.

Somewhere cold…

He remembered a river in the woods behind Tyson’s house. They had run through it during one of their intense training drills.

It was the only thought that raced through Kai’s mind.

He ran through the forest, envisioning the cold water engulfing him.

He stopped to grab a tree to stabilize himself.

His breaths were heavy and fast. Running had taken everything out of him. He placed his hands over his face, pulling his fingernails down it with force.

“Aaaaah!”

He tried to muffle his screams with his palms—it didn’t work.

He wanted to dig his fingers into his eye sockets to stop the burning.

It hurt to keep his eyes open.

It hurt when his skin rubbed against his clothes.

It hurt when he felt the beads of sweat roll down his back.

“Everything off!” Kai roared while tearing off his shirt.

The white t-shirt fell to the ground, he abandoned it to head further into the woods.

Just a silly little story idea that came into my head. Tyson decides that, from now on, he's only going to wear suits and other more formal attire. He sees this as his duty, not only because he's the undefeated world champion, but also because he believes that people look up to him as an icon of style and coolness and therefore must keep up that image.

LMAO okay, so I know as anime weebs we all LOVE a good anime boi in a suit

But the THING about suits in anime is that they don’t translate over to real-life high school boys the same way

Idk if any of you had that kid in highschool that would wear a baggy suit everyday and naruto run to each class but i had A FEW.

The team had managed to convince Tyson to meet them in a secluded room in the BBA building.

It was on one of the top stories. The glass windows overlooked the whole city.

Tyson glanced out the glass that encased the room, then turned to the rest of his team.

“Why did you guys ask me to come here? Didn’t you say there was going to be a buffet?”

Ray stood in front of the group.

“Yeah, so… we lied.”

Max locked the door behind them.

“Guys…?” Tyson grew worried. He looked to Kenny who was sitting nervously in a chair, “Chief? What’s going on?”

Max placed his hands in front of him to calm Tyson down, “It’s not that serious Ty—”

“You guys are really starting to worry me… even Kai is here!?” Tyson pointed to Kai who was leaning against a wall out of sight.

Kai just nodded, he didn’t say anything.

“Look.” Ray took a step forward, “we didn’t want to say anything… but this is getting out of hand.”

When he said he would try to find a cure—he meant it.

As time went on…

He was losing hope.

He ran away from everyone he loved and everything he knew.

He looked for one person.

Sanguinex.

The leader of the dark bladers was the one who turned him. If Kai wanted answers, he knew he would have to go through him first.

Kai had managed to make it to Europe on his own. Then severed all ties.

He started his search in France. He was surprised when Sanguinex found him first.

He viewed Kai as his precious offspring. He was very vocal about choosing Kai over anyone else.

Kai was disturbed by the way he treated him. Yet he couldn’t deny…

He needed him.

When Kai arrived in Europe he was a shell. He hadn’t had a single drop of blood. He was frail and paler than ever before.

Sanguinex took pity on him and babied him back to health.
