VII Muestra de retroinformática y videojuegos (RetroPixel Málaga 2024) - 13 y 14 de abril ¿Qué es RetroPixel Málaga? RetroPixel es una actividad orientada para toda la familia, cultural, solidaria y completamente gratuita organizada por la Asociación Lúdico Técnica de Aficionados a la Informática Retro (ALTAIR), más conocidos por realizar el podcast Retro Entre Amigos.

El evento está patrocinado por el Polo de Contenidos Digitales, la ETSI de Telecomunicación, el Vicerrectorado de Cultura de la Universidad de Málaga, OXO Museo del Videojuego de Málaga, Hobby Retro y Krom Gaming.

Además, la Facultad de Derecho nos cede su grandioso hall para poder realizarlo. El objetivo de RetroPixel es dar a conocer la historia de la informática, los orígenes de la industria de los micro ordenadores, ordenadores personales y videoconsolas así como la evolución de los videojuegos en estos últimos 40 años.

remember how i said that styles in the 1910s were moving towards comfort? yeah, take that and multiply it by ten, and you've got the 1920s. the quintessential flapper girl is the queen of this era, with her short skirts and shorter hair, but that wasn't the only thing that marked the decade. silhouettes became "boxier", and moved towards androgyny (well, as close to androgyny as possible). some women were even wearing pants – in their day to day lives! like many other trends, the hemlines of skirts would reach their shortest in the middle of the decade, before slowly falling back down again. cloche hats were all the rage, but many women went hatless instead to show off their new short hairdos! in many ways, the carefree nature of this era was a direct response to the brutality of world war one and the despair of the spanish flu. having faced death, the new generation spurned prior social taboos, showing that off through their fashion.

Hi! In your newest post are you using The Boardwalk created by retropixels/gilded-ghosts? If it is do you happen to have working links/downloads to the cc it needs?

Hello! Yes that is what you see in the background of the first shot in this post, good catch! 😉

I downloaded this lot through this Dropbox link that Gilded provided (the file is named "The Boardwalk"). This includes the tray files to the CC used in the build. While some of this CC does show up in the game, you are right that much of it is broken and makes this lot mostly unplayable without major renovations. This is partially why I did not include more shots of this lot, as it did help inspire this scene in the first place.

I’m really sorry I couldn’t be more help, as I did try to get this lot to work myself. If anyone has more information on this please let Nonny know in the comments below ❤️
