1. favourite fandom you joined this year

You know, I don't really consider myself a part of any fandom other than Supergirl atm. I've consumed new media this year, just haven't really sought out much fandom stuff. But I didn't really start to be aware of some people in the SG fandom or interact with anyone until this year/end of 2020, so I do kinda count it for this question. The little corner of the fandom I occupy is filled with super awesome and talented people, and it's my favorite fandom to date because of that!

3. favourite fanart of the year

Ah, I feel like I'm pretty out of touch with art and artists in stuff I'm interested in, but I love this absolutely adorable GRoot Person of Interest fanart by rfrzrspcp. Makes me smile every time! Oh and this one by sanctuary-for-strange-people completely wrecks me every time, way more than I ever felt in the episodes after Root's exit.

14. best fixit you read this year

I read this recently: at the end, these are all that remains, a Person of Interest Shoot fix-it series by Extrinsical that I really enjoyed. I loved the characterization and insight we get into the characters over time. And I will again list another favorite, though it's not exactly a fix-it at its core: love (it will carry the weight) by TheseTornadoesAreForYou. I adore every fluffy moment in this Sanvers fic, and it's been on my mind recently since it's like a shot of happiness.

15. favourite headcanon of the year

I'm sure there are ones I'm forgetting atm, but the most memorable one (if it counts) is from this Sanvers fic, It's all in the pose by Rehizle_28, where Maggie figures out Kara is Supergirl because she copies Alex's pose/stance. I first read it last year probably and it's from 2017, but I was talking about something (Maggie being perceptive? Kara picking things up from Alex? I forget) and remembered that idea from a fic! But not the actual fic itself. Tried to find said fic and failed miserably. But! cantdrawshaw came in to save the day with their super good memory and detecting skills and found it, and I was overjoyed! That whole thing was a stupid amount of fun to eventually have found, so it's what I remember best haha
