Tendou and Ushijima are such scary yanderes! Tendou cause he's already kinda insane and Ushijima is like a brick wall when he puts his mind to something.
i feel like ushiwaka's the type of guy that could pretty easily convince you to start a relationship with him. cuz let's face it he's stupidly attractive, a crazy talented volleyballer and an olympic medalist (to me) to boot, and he's not actually a dick, he's just a little intense. blunt. some might say slightly awkward.
but at the start of it all, you don't see the red flags. you like ushijima. he's surprisingly attentive for an athlete playing at his level, which you weren't really expecting but it makes you feel special. wanted.
and then you meet his friends. tendou, specifically.
the thing is, wakatoshi's kind of a possessive guy. not jealous, exactly. he's not glaring down every guy that dares to look at you that's just his face and throwing punches, he's not even that big on PDA, he just likes it when you're close, when he's got his hand wrapped in yours or resting on your thigh. he enjoys that physical touch, a tangible reminder that you're there, you're his.
he doesn't take it well when other people try it.
tendou, apparently, is an exception to that rule.
while you've been walking around with rose tinted glasses this whole time, ushiwaka's got full on blinders on – at least where his high school bestie's concerned. he almost growled the other night when eita went in for a hug hello, but he's sitting right next to you, seemingly unbothered by the redhead practically draping himself over you, the long fingers fiddling with the hem of your skirt.
you'd knocked his hand away – he keeps sliding it back.
not wanting to make a fuss, you'd kept your mouth shut, only bringing it up with wakatoshi later, when it was just the two of you. but he shrugs, like it's no big deal – no, like he doesn't understand what the issue is to begin with. why you're uncomfortable with tendou being friendly.
and so you drop it. maybe you are reading too much into it. tendou's an odd guy, maybe that's just how he is and you haven't known him long enough to get accustomed to it.
except it gets worse. it's uncomfortable and a little creepy. you're out for drinks one night at a bar, and when you come out of the bathroom, tendou's right there, almost caging you in. it's always a joke, or you think that's what he's aiming for, because he wears that same too wide, glittering grin and laughs when you get flustered and uncomfortable.
he shows up at your job to drive you home when wakatoshi's held up with training. lets himself into your place to 'hang out' while you wait for your boyfriend to get home. always staring. amused, apparently, by the six feet of distance you seem determined to keep between you and him.
the next time you go to one of wakatoshi's games, he's got tickets too, his seat right next to yours, and spends the match with his arm slung over the back of your seat, playing with your hair and asking whether you let your boyfriend cum inside you before the game started. y'know, for good luck.
it's too much. you've tried to talk to ushijima about it but you might as well be talking to a brick wall. in the end, you make a choice.
you like ushijima, you even think there might've been a future there, but if being with him means letting yourself be subjected to tendou's friendliness, then it's not worth it.
when you explain this to him, however, trying to break it gently, you see an odd stoniness cross over his features. the hand enveloping yours tightens for a beat, bordering on painful, before he exhales. 'you want to break up with me?'
swallowing, you nod. it's not what you want, really, but you're not going to keep putting yourself in this position. you're not going to be uncomfortable in your own relationship – and you're not going to have a third party involved at all.
'yeah.'
he breathes in, a muscle in his jaw ticking, and when he speaks, when he looks at you with dark, flinty eyes, there's nothing but iron determination, 'no.'

not me having a little dream about a plump brown bat, who chittered to me and then magically became a vampire who called me little witch.
also not me staying up til 2 am on ao3 reading burning yarrow 😭 it’s so good, i can’t wait to dive in more and rb here and comment on ao3 🖤🖤😩
IT'S MY NUMBER ONE MALADAPTIVE DAYDREAM. No matter where I am in life... at work... driving... I'm always just pretending lil vampire bat Eddie is with me.
I am so stoked you love it so much. I hope it fuels so so many daydreams and nightdreams. A safe and warm and fuzzy place to retreat into. xo Rhi

Thinking about werewolf! Karasuno using Hinata as a lure, where he befriends the reader and tricks her into coming onto their territory, where they can keep her <3 <3
Ok no but I love this.
Cuz hinata is so bright and warm, so impossibly friendly that it’s hard not to like the guy. He makes friends without even trying, and werewolf hinata would be no different.
A little rougher around the edges, seemingly ignorant of concepts like personal space, he’s still that happy go-lucky, excitable guy, especially when he’s got his heart set on something. No prizes for guessing what.
He’s also not-so-secretly thrilled that daichi picked him for the job – meaning he’s bragged to kageyama, tsukki and yams several times and won’t shut up about it. Daichi trusts him, and he gets to be the first one you meet! First impressions matter, and sure you could look at it like he’s luring you, or you could consider him like… a welcoming party. Kinda.
Or, perhaps more likely, he’s the one who found you on his own, and knew you were special. Knew you were perfect for his pack.
Either way, Hinata can barely keep himself from vibrating with excitement when he drags you out into the pack’s territory, deep in the woods. You might not have been thrilled at the concept of an early morning hike out in the middle of nowhere, but one look at those warm baby browns and suddenly saying ‘no thanks’ felt like an asshole thing to do.
Hinata’s sure you’re gonna love the pack.
But you’ll probably love him the best. He was the first, after all.

Can you see, in your characterization of yakuza Oikawa, that he would use Kyoutani as punishment if his wife acted out? Especially with your comment about seeing Kyoutani be a little in love with the boss’s wife? Or could you see Iwaizumi doing that?
Would he threaten it? Absolutely.
As for the follow through, I’m kind of torn. He can picture it perfectly, fucking his wife with a punishing pace before handing her over to kyoutani, to iwa, to his best and most trusted soldiers.
Watch them fuck her, debauch her, ruin her. Unmoved by tears and apologies, by the sweet, desperate sound of her begging.
He’d sweep in when it was over and done to take her again, slower this time. Gentler. A reminder that she’s his above all else, that he might loan her out every now and then but she belongs mind, body and soul to him. That he might be the one to break her but he’ll always be the one to put her back together again afterwards, piece by piece.
Alas, in the end, I think his raging possessiveness would win out.

Rhi your tags about the Inarizaki teams as werewolves has got me sweating... you're so smart. that poor reader would never stand a chance
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay clearly I hit on smt here so allow me to expand a bit;
Inarizaki as a pack of half feral roaming werewolves. Kita’s a traditionalist, a born werewolf; he believes that’s how they should be; free, unbothered by things like territory and boundary lines. They roam where they like, eat what they like, fuck what they like.
Kill what they like.
It happens. Sometimes they come across a pack who aren’t too pleased about inarizaki encroaching on their territory. There’s only one response to a perceived threat they’ll honour – Kita might not revel in the violence, but viciousness is as much a part of them as the change is. It’s in their nature to fight, and his pack are strong. Savage. Some might even say bloodthirsty.
Their reputation precedes them.
Your pack – your family – on the other hand, are practically tame by comparison. Living apart from humans to avoid the temptation, only hunting and killing as a necessity – deer, boar and other wild animals wherever you can. You outnumber the likes of inarizaki, but you’re not fighters. There’s not a doubt in anyone’s mind that if your pack were to face a challenge, you wouldn’t come away unscathed.
When the scouts first spot the pack crossing the edges of your territory, the response from your elders is immediate. Submission. The inarizaki pack can do what they like, they’ll face no resistance from yours. Eventually they’ll move on, it’s a matter of weathering the intruders until that happens.
Except, certain members of Inarizaki take offence to that. They’ve come to enjoy the promise of a kill to get their blood pumping, and now what, they’re being denied?? You’re just going to roll over and show your belly?
Unacceptable.
You’re stood by your parents’ side, the rest of the pack behind you as your grandfather delivers the promise of a peaceful passage through your territory. Helpless to do anything but watch as the offer is met with a chorus of harsh, barking laughter and growls, teeth bared and glinting in the firelight.
Standing at the head of his pack, Kita is alone in his lack of an outward reaction. He doesn’t move, doesn’t speak immediately, but you recognise the silence for what it is; he’s communicating with his pack.
And then those cold, sharp eyes flicker towards you.
Ice claws at your heart.
You freeze in place, a metaphorical deer in headlights, as he calmly voices their counter offer. Either your family hands you over to inarizaki, or they’ll slaughter the whole pack. Werewolves don’t tolerate such cowardice.
All the while, his pack stare you down. Hungry. Excited.
In the face of such an offer, your parents, your grandparents, betray you without missing a beat.
Thinking themselves merciful, they bargain for one night, a head start before you’re to be hunted. Kita gives you six hours.
So you run, as fast as your legs will take you – fleeing to put as much distance between you and that pack of monsters as possible.
You think they’re hunting to kill, that the fate that awaits you ends at their maws, ripped apart and consumed.
Unbeknownst to you, they hunger for something else entirely.

I know it's mean, but I always enjoy it when Iwa-chan sides with Oikawa over the reader... just two bros gaslighting ladies.
Noooo but I love this dynamic, especially with those two. No matter how much iwa likes to paint himself as the voice of reason – your white knight – nine times out of ten, he’s gonna side with oikawa when it counts.
Because it benefits him, doesn’t it. When oikawa gets jealous, possessive, when he gets unreasonable, it works in Iwa’s favour. Because, truly, he’s worse than tooru.
He’ll wait for you to come to him with tears in your eyes, seek comfort in his arms while you cry about how awful and mean tooru gets. Iwa wants to be under your skin, wants your every thought, every secret, laid bare before him. And make no mistake, he’ll betray that trust time and again if it means keeping you trapped between them

Yandere Atsumu: Meeting you was a disspaointment
Darling: That's okay, my expectations for you was was non-existent
Oh it eats at him. It’d be one thing if it was just some random chick who wasn’t interested in him. She’d be stupid as fuck and clearly have no taste, but he could accept that and move on. She’s not just some random chick though, she’s his soulmate. Yeah he kind of treated her like shit, which, okay, not his finest moment, but so what? She’s supposed to be the one on her knees begging him to see past her flaws, not the other way around.
How can she be perfectly fine with moving on from him? Even if he has doubts this whole soulmates thing isn’t some cosmic joke/fuck up, the thought rankles him. He’s the fucking catch, not her. Instead he’s the one who can’t sleep at night cuz he’s still thinking about her.
Not to mention the asshole who apparently thinks it’s his god given right to fuck around with Miya Atsumu’s girl. He doesn’t know a single thing about the bastard but now every time he catches sight of him, his head starts pounding and he swears he sees red.

How obsessive was Oikawa upon first hearing Hatori was his son, and how much did his obsession with family worsen when he met reader in Settle?
Did he know what his plans were for her from when they first interviewed? When did he start to realize he wanted to keep her?
Oikawa was stunned, but once he actually had Hatori in his arms, it was like a switch flipped. He’d do anything for that little, squirming bundle, give anything.
I think I’ve mentioned before in an older ask that oikawa didn’t set out to find a wife/mother with the babysitting gig, he truly just wanted someone he trusted to look after his boy while he was training. Somewhere along the way, watching her take care of his son, seeing how hatori clung to her – and then spending his own time with her after getting home and putting hatori to bed, a seed took root, began to sprout.
I do think that as his obsession with the reader deepened, his own protective tendencies over his son grew worse too. He has this perfect life, surely no one’s allowed to be this happy? Oikawa’s terrified that somehow it’ll slip through his grasp.

Bokuto does strike me as the type who'd like to take his darling's virginity 😔😔 cruel of her not to wait for him
It’s not so much her virginity on its own, it’s more than bokuto feels entitled to everything when it comes to the reader. She’s his, made for him, they’re made for each other (and akaashi ofc)
He doesn’t blame her for it tho or hold it against her; it’s not her fault some smooth talking asshole felt he could worm his way into her pants.
But he’s like that with everything. He doesn’t like reminders that the reader had a life before him and akaashi. He’d be the type who’d wanna go and recreate every holiday/vacation the reader took because this time it’d be infinitely better because this time she’d have her soulmates with her 😤

Do you think it'd bother the Miya twins to share a soulmate or they'd prefer to share one with each other ultimately?
well i mean i've written like four fics where they're happy (enough) sharing but yea ig they'd probably prefer to have their girl be just theirs

With Sea Change, I headcanon that while Hatori looks like Oikawa, that Y/n's daughter looks exactly like her.
Also, because Oikawa views his children in the lense that they should act the perfect children, how would he react if his daughter grew up, saw how fucked the whole family dynamic was and started rebelling and disrespecting him??
hmmm for certain iterations of oikawa, that'd be true. scion oikawa would very much be a ruthless parent, settle/sea change kawa's a little more chill, the love he's got for his kids is genuine and unconditional.
i actually think hatori, being the oldest and the mama's boy that he is, would be the one to act out. tooru's not pleased in the slightest, although i do think there's some small part of him that's almost... proud, maybe, that his son's standing up for her. doesn't make him any less irritated by it, but at least it's coming from a good place?
ultimately he's not gonna hurt either one of his kids. full stop. he'll get frustrated and pissy, and depending on how old they are, he might threaten to cut them off and/or make it so they can't see her, but that's pretty much it

fracture osamu with a breeding kink 🤤 imagine him taking every precaution to make sure the reader’s sister does not get pregnant because he knew there was only really one womb he wanted to fill up? the only one worthy of mothering his babies 🥺
oh it is 100% a point of contention in his current (soon to be prior) relationship with her sister.
she thinks a baby'll fix them and wants a family of her own more than anything. plus, she's also at that point in her early thirties so it's not like she has a massive amount of time left to get started.
osamu on the other hand could think of nothing worse. it's the opposite of baby-trapping this man'll slip birth control pills into his wife if he has to.

Rhiiii inexorable has been on my mind for so long. Arguably the best Iwa fic I have ever read. Please please get us some Iwa crumbs. I need to know more about iwa and reader 🥹🥹🥹
@iwaasfairy pls stop sending me anon asks about inexorable it's starting to get embarrassing <33 i'm kidding, i'm kidding
hmmmm
it probably goes without saying, but iwa is not the kind of guy to half ass things. he recognises that you probably weren't aware of the gravity in you knocking on his door for help (and maybe you might've thought twice about it if you had) but for him, that simple act solidified months of watching. waiting. you knocked, and you can't take it back.
he's killed for you. can't take that back, either.
you're his girl. not for a night, not for the next few months. his, that's it. full stop, end of fucking story. and he wasn't joking when he told you to stay – you're not going back to your apartment. hell, if it were up to iwa, you wouldn't be leaving his bed at all.
s'fine, he'll ease you into it. maybe.

ugh something about yanderes like oikawa and gojo just get me. they’re attractive and charismatic, able to have anyone they want, but they’re obsessed with the one person who doesn’t want them back… it’s so tasty
Yes, but they’re also the ones who go fucking nuts when they think they have you at last and you slip right out of their grips 😌

Hey Rhi! Hope you’ve been well!
I recently binged through all your Tokyo Rev fics and it made me think of something. I really love the concept of Tailspin with Chifuyu being the one to remember the past timeline. The simultaneous regret of how they treated reader being balanced with this uncontrollable desire to be with her again was so great and really fascinating to me.
It made me think, what do you think Mikey would do in a post-bonten/sink to the depths timeline where those events never happened, but he’s still able to remember them in the new timeline? On one hand, he was in love with reader, but how she was treated by him and bonten was a complete nightmare for her. I guess it depends on which timeline, but do you think that would make him hesitate from trying to find reader in this new timeline (to prevent her from being dragged into his mess of a life) or would he not be able to resist finding her anyway?
hi nonnie first of all ily <33
so if chifuyu's fucked up about it, mikey.... oof. man's got trauma big time.
doesn't help matters that when he was on the brink of complete self destruction the reader became his emotional support pussy person.
on the one hand, of course she's better off far, far away from him and sanzu and kakucho – all of them. it was an obsession, fucked up and depraved and sickening and damn it all to hell if does he wish he could feel that disgust all the time.
it'd be easier that way, to focus the hate inwards and pretend that's all it was. that there aren't nights he doesn't like awake and fucking miss her like a part of him's been ripped away. that his cock doesn't stir at the filthy dreams – memories – that won't leave his head.
on the really bad days, it's like an ache. an itch. incessant. he misses her.
he'd taint her all over again.
so he should leave her alone. stay as far away as humanly possible.
there's a problem, though. two, if he's being completely honest with himself. the first is that along with their whole sordid relationship, he remembers how the reader managed to end up in bonten's clutches in the first place. bonten doesn't exist anymore, obviously, but just because he and his friends aren't running around as gangsters anymore doesn't mean bad men, bad luck and bad circumstance have ceased to exist.
her brother's probably still a bottom feeding piece of shit with a gambling problem. there's every chance he's gonna do something just as stupid this time, and she'll inevitably be the one to pay for it. glass stones and houses and all that bullshit, he doesn't like it. no one's allowed to touch her. no one but him.
the other problem, the one he's less eager to admit to himself, is that he wasn't the only one fucked up over her. the haitani's might not look twice (he thinks. hopes, maybe), and who knows with sanzu, but kakucho? koko? they might not remember any of it, but if they walked past her in the street, bumped into her at a bar, would they feel that pull in their gut? would it spark something?
mikey hates the thought of her in danger, being mistreated – by her brother or by anyone else, but there's a sick, possessive part of him that hates the thought of any of them taking her too.
she was his first.
but even if he shoved that all aside, buried his head in the sand and pretended he wasn't slowly being driven out of his mind by her, the universe is a funny thing. one way or another, it'll work its magic and shove her right back into his path.
some things are just... fated.
