Is Bravo’s Attempt of Diversity a Failure?!

With the speculations of Garcelle Beauvais leaving RHOBH, I can’t help but ask:

Is Bravo’s attempt at bringing more diversity to their shows an epic failure?

I’m thinking about all the women who was brought on the shows with a dominating white cast and the disasters the interactions left the shows with.

Tiffany Moon joined RHOD and was an amazing addition who brought fresh energy to a struggling show.

But due to the racist feud with Kameron Westcott the show got cancelled.

And what about Eboni K. Williams? She joined RHONY and wanted to enlighten topics of race.

But it was a complete fiasco!

Ramona Singer was reported to the HR because of discriminating behaviour, and it resulted in the cancellation of the reunion and later the show.

Bravo later put Ramona on RHUGT to soften her image in the eyes of the fans, but it didn’t help.

While Bravo was protecting Ramona, the women on RHONY were icing Eboni out! Even Leah McSweeney, which was shocking to me!

And then there’s the mess and chaos in Salt Lake City.

Jennie Nguyen, who we learned had posted some awful things on social media about Black Lives Matters, harassed and threw a glass after Mary Cosby.

And no one was checking up on her!

But Jennie is also one of the worst casting decisions ever made by Bravo.

It was easy to find the racist posts and Bravo should’ve done a better background check.

And then there is Beverly Hills. And not just RHOBH.

The shocking confessionals of Faith Stowers from Vanderpump Rules forced Bravo to clean house.

Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired because of this.

Crystal Kung Minkoff doesn’t exactly get along the best with most of the cast, where she and Kyle Richards specifically were butting heads at the reunion.

And we all know how Garcelle feels on RHOBH and Andy Cohen failed to acknowledge it at the reunion.

But if Garcelle leaves… then there’s just Crystal left!

All the other women have either left due to disturbing conflicts on the show or gotten fired. This is bad.

Found some new feminine inspiration! 😍

While I’m not new to her, I’ve always followed her on social media and admired her beauty. I’m old enough to remember her season of College Hill on BET, lol.

Watching her on RHOD has caused me to grow in admiration for her. I love the way that she Carrie’s herself. Her soft tone of voice, her always well lemon hair and soft skin, delicate touches of jewelry just for a grocery store trip. She’s gorgeous and a great example of femininity in the flesh.

I, personally am a visual learner. I am grateful to find new feminine inspiration that I can watch on TV, so that I can emulate what resonates with me. ♥️

What did you think of RH of Dubai? I finished the first four episodes and I’m kinda ehh about them

I believe that I watched 4 too (but I still follow through podcasts and twitter/reddit posts). I think that the show got some good potential! Chanel Ayan is a star too ☝🏽 she always crack me up and she is raw by showing us her real life vulnerability. + this quote I just saw on twitter lol

I even like the bri'ish woman (in she is entertaining)z her gay husband not so much. Maybe since it's the first season and it's in Dubai the wildness isn't out yet. I would give the show some time to settle but I have hopes ☝🏽.

finally finished listening to rhod’s special, The Man with the Flaming Battanberg Tattoo, and i have some random thoughts:

1, i was thinking all through it that the girlfriend he’s talking about must be sian and maybe they have matching potato tattoos so that ending came out of nowhere

2, wikipedia says sian was his ‘longtime’ girlfriend when they got married though, which was only a year after this show? idk, if anyone knows the actual timeline here, please fill me in

3, i’ve worked in customer service for over ten years (although i’m not customer-facing anymore), and i gotta say that if rhod was even approaching accurate in his tales of losing his temper with service workers (i know he must’ve edited them to be more funny, too, so chances are he acted worse than he says), he was my nightmare customer. i would’ve walked away sobbing. don’t treat service workers like shit, don’t blame them for things beyond their control, just do not

4, i’m glad he got help for that and now feels ashamed of how he used to act, and i’m so glad he’s become as beloved as he is (and is doing well, health-wise!)

5, now i doubly want to write a rhod/james follow-up with rhod helping james with his own anger management issues because i feel like they would understand each other so well there

6, anyway, more proof that growth and change are possible and the world becomes a better place, not worse, when you extend people compassion, give them space for their journey of self-improvement (while setting healthy boundaries, of course), and are willing to forgive when they do show that growth and change ✨💜

A Sweet Dream or a Beautiful Nightmare

It’s certainly a lot going on at this reunion. Where do I even begin? Maybe the dressing room?

This is the only show that’s as eventful during break as while they’re filming.

Alexia Echevarria went to Julia Lemigova’s dressing room to show how sorry she was for comparing Russian women to prostitutes.

Julia brought up something interesting that wasn’t shown this season, where she had tried to calm the situation in the Bahamas.

Alexia was in rare form this season. She had called Julia a non-feminist and told her to not spin this into a LGBTQ+ thing. What did she mean by that?!

All Julia tried to do in the moment was to try and explain why Adriana de Moura was struggling.

And Alexia was probably unaware that Adriana was in Julia’s dressing room.

It became a screaming match between the two hotheads, where Adriana accused Alexia of outing her ex-husband after he was dead.

All I can say is that Alexia appears to be unravelling this season.

And speaking of outrageous things these housewives say and does:

Larsa Pippen claimed that she had a real job, unlike Nicole Martin who’s a doctor, because she’s “only putting people to sleep”.

That is the most ridiculous, laughable, and embarrassing thing I’ve probably ever heard on this entire franchise. It was that dumb.

She received a clap back from Dr. Tiffany Moon, the only one worth mentioning from RHOD.

And she and Nicole made a tiktok together. They should meet more often!

But Larsa doesn’t appear to be that high on Andy Cohen’s list of housewives either.

She still won’t back down with her comment about Nicole having a child out of wedlock, and Andy called her an asshole! Yikes!

According to Larsa’s lover however she was winning at this reunion.

It must be nice being Larsa. Everybody just loves her all the time. No critic, because what is there to dislike about her?

And Kiki Barth joined the reunion and shared that she knows models Lenny Hochstein has cheated on Lisa Hochstein with.

Why didn’t she say anything to Lisa sooner?!

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have separated after 27 years of marriage, PEOPLE confirms.

A source close to the pair tells PEOPLE: "Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family."

Richards, 54, first met Umansky, 53, at a nightclub in 1994. At the time, Richards was divorced from her first husband Guraish Aldjufrie, with whom she had daughter Farrah Brittany (née Aldjufrie), 34.
