Celebrating Richard Madden’s B-DAY would Include:
Waking up early to make him some tea, only for him to pull you back into bed.
Teasing him about the streak of blonde in his hair is turning grey.
Breakfast in bed with virtually everything he likes: basically eggs, bacon, fruit, beans, toast, and multiple cups of tea.
Sleeping until noon from going into a food coma, but it would feel so good.
Going for a scenic drive through Central London.
Turning the radio up and singing along (terribly) to Elton John and George Michael.
Jamming out to Richard’s favorite “really crap pop music.”
Begging Richard to sing his verses of ‘Honky Cat’ from Rocketman, only for him to get really embarrassed and start turning beet red.
Calling his parents through Zoom for their safety, and celebrating Richard’s birthday with a small cake and a bottle of champagne.
Catching up with his family, as you hadn’t seen them in a year, and telling them about your job as well as Richard’s new projects.
(Trying to get Eternals secrets, but Richard refuses to spill any beans) As he knows you’re a HUGE Marvel fan.
Slightly pouting when you don’t get anything, only for Richard to playfully tackle you with kisses.
Then you both finish the night with cups of tea and a wonderful movie.

TO A FELLOW DAD --
Richard ( @maddenhqs ),
Happiest of happy birthdays to you, my friend! I hope you’re spending the day being spoiled by your kiddo and all the other folks important to you. We haven’t known each other for too long, but I do love our kid playdates and the encouragement you’ve always given me as a fellow father. Because it helps having that support from other parents, am I right? And I’ve always appreciated yours so much.
You’ve told me about wanting to take your daughter camping and that it wasn’t the easiest since she’s so young. But now that she’s getting a little older, I thought maybe if you wanted to try taking her camping again, something like this self inflating couch would ease the transition a little and give you both a little more comfort. I’m refraining from using the word glamping, for obvious reasons, but anything that’s portable and makes the kids a little more comfortable is something worth considering, am I right? The t-shirts are self explanatory; we have to take advantage of their being young enough for us to choose their clothes with funny matching things, if only for picture purposes. Additionally, you and Finley will have to drop by for dinner sometime, if only for us to laugh about the two kiddos probably on the same level of making a mess with their food.
Have a great day, and I hope it’s an even better next rotation around the sun!
