Ultra-brutal mini-episode is supposed to keep fans quiet

The rest of Rick and Morty Season 4 is still a long time coming. Thanks to Adult Swim, there's now a kind of mini-adventure for grandparents and grandchildren and that's bloody bloody. In the short film Samurai and Shogun, Rick Sanchez kills his opponents with his katana – or rather: alternative versions of himself.

Heads are chopped off, bellies cut open and legs shortened by a few centimeters, which, according to the genre, causes impressive blood fountains to shoot up every time. Check out the new Rick and Morty short film here in the article.

Rick and Morty Season 4: Anime Studio creates mini episode

Samurai & Shogun is the name of the Rick and Morty short film on the Adult Swim YouTube channel. The story is reminiscent of the Manga Lone Wolf and Cub and its film adaptations. In it, an executioner who has fallen out of grace is out with his little son and hires himself out as an assassin. In the anime version of Dan Harmons and Justin Roiland's series, Rick and Rick WTM-72 take on the role of the lone wolf and cart Morty around. Who knows how to defend himself, of course …

The Rick and Morty short film Samurai & Shogun:

The new mini episode of Rick and Morty was created by the Japanese animation studio Deen (Jin-Roh) produced. Kaichi Sato directed and wrote the script. The speakers are Yohei Tadano and Keisuke Chiba, who give Rick and Morty their voices in the Japanese Synchro of the series.

When are there new episodes of Rick and Morty?

The series recently attracted attention primarily due to the lack of new episodes. A Super Bowl commercial and several Rick and Morty teaser could not hide the fact that there is no start date for the return. The fan voices were correspondingly desperate as last week's Teaser trailer for solar opposites was released, the new series by co-creator Justin Roiland.

Season 4 of Rick and Morty is said to consist of 10 episodes. So far 5 of them have been shown. The last one, Rattlestar Ricklactica, ran in the United States on December 15th. The three and a half seasons of the series are in Germany Sky ticket ready for subscribers.
