Something I just wanna point out is how in the season 3 poster for hsmtmts you can kind of tell how they are going to play the relationships this season.

Like you can clearly see Carlos, Kourtney and Nini standing on their own and having a good time (although Nini is kind of spacing out it looks like which may symbolize her following her dreams), which I think symbolizes how each of these characters will grow to be more independent this season. However Ricky is clearly positioned between EJ and Gina. Showing that he is going to cause a riff in their relationship (yes I’m aware he already has) however he is a little more off to the side so I think that’s showing that it won’t cause any major damage. He also isn’t looking directly at anybody so I don’t think he will actually be looking for any relationships this season, but judging by the way Jett is looking at Ricky I think something will probably happen between them. Then you also have the way Maddox is staring at Ashlyn, clearly showing that there is going to be a crush and May end up being that Ashlyn is also into girls, or it’s just Magic and nothing ends up happening between them. I also think that Ashlyn will leave camp with two new friendships. Idk I just think it’s interesting how everybody is positioned and only some are looking at each other.

I've been getting really pissed about this. When people say Ricky needs therapy before he gets into another relationship we aren't saying people in therapy can't be in relationships. We're saying that Ricky's family issues make him unstable in relationships which can be helped with therapy and that until that issue is solved all his relationships will be negatively affected by it. And Gina just deserves better than that especially when there's EJ right there without anything affecting his relationships like that.

Have you watched the fucking show. Rini's first breakup was literally because he couldn't tell her he loves her because of his parent's relationship. Again and again it was shown that the reason he couldn't handle Nini leaving him was because of how his mom left him. Until he heals from that, Gina is just going to be put in the same situation Nini was.

I've seen some people saying that everyone in therapy can also be in a healthy relationship which just sadly isn't true. Many people with disorders like cluster B personality disorders or addiction can be in healthy, loving relationships but it is so important for them to get therapy first so their partners aren't affected by the negative sides of their disorders.

“Ricky should be single and go to therapy.” What is unloveable about people in therapy that they can’t be in a relationship at the same time? Plus, he was single for 2B and all of S3. We never saw him in a relationship with Lily so y’all can’t count that. Why do people in therapy not deserve love and happiness and relationships to you?

“Gina’s character was ruined.” and all that’s happened is she’s accepted that S1 her wasn’t a bad person and that ambition, confidence and knowing your worth isn’t a bad thing. dude Ricky and Nini broke up in episode 8 of season 2. there was the school break, at least one more week rehearsing, the end of the semester, and we don't know how much time pass til the camp begins. what do you mean he's jumping from girl to girl? the kid had a whole episode focused on his heartbreak and the first steps to move on and explicitly said in the finale he's working towards his happiness. he will get his friendship back with Gina this season, before they build the romance. from the trailer, he looks happier than he's ever been (in comparison to his s1 sulking and the s2 downfall of his relationship). just... find another excuse??

The main thing I want for EJ is for him to have a happy ending but it seems like the writers care more about giving Ricky a happy ending who is so convinced that he always needs to be talking to, flirting with or dating someone in order to be happy. I want EJ to find himself in season 4 find whatever he is meant to do with his life that makes him happy and pursue a career in that but I don’t fully trust the writers because they do him so dirty and they won’t let him be happy for very long.

i want everyone to have a happy ending!!! especially ej because things ended at an all time low for him last season lol, but it really should not be hard to ensure every character has some sort of satisfaction or positivity in their story at the end of the season. some closure (&joy) for ej in some capacity is all he needs/all we wanna see

Bc after your baby is born and Ricky is holding you in the hospital while you hold your newborn baby

And he watches you care for your baby

You heal his mommy issues

Who always makes time for your baby and makes sure they feel loved

So two years after Sonny is born, you welcome Pippa into your family

Laser tag (then slices), trampoline park (then slices), six flags (then slices)

Grandpa Mike is over a lot too and he couldn't be prouder 

He keeps every single memorabilia 

He still has your oldest’s first ultrasound picture on his fridge

And he has a bookshelf that’s filling up with boxes of craft projects and photos and drawings

He’s proud of you and proud of your grandkids

And he’s especially proud of Ricky

The kid has had his ups and downs, but Mike really can’t believe the amazing man his son has grown into

And Miss Jenn aka fairy godmother

The literal godmother of your children

Is equally obsessed with them

She’s still directing shows at East High as well as at a local community theatre

“My theatre family… my children… I am beyond honored to announce our first official theatre baby.” 

She will hold up your baby in front of both casts and sing a slow, soulful, emotional rendition of the circle of life from broadway lion king

It’s a canon event you can’t interfere

Ricky is so relieved that Pippa is still too little for school by the time Sonny is getting ready to start pre-k 

He can’t imagine having both his babies out of the house all day at the same time
