Drabblecember 2023 Day 12: Snowball Fight Headcanons

This is for @eternally-smitten and @bioexorcizm's Drabblecember Event! They said that Drabblecember could be anything that was low effort basically, so I've decided to do some headcanons! Just in time for the last day!

Ship: Optimus Prime (TFP)/Honey Moon (S/I)

🖤 So, I think the concept of a snowball fight would come up while Honey (me) is on a low risk patrol with Optimus. I would be riding with Op and near the end of the patrol it comes up that, like Raf, I grew up in an environment that didn't snow. And that I was curious about it too.

🖤 And he takes note of this and plans to take me to a place to see snow. He convinces me to come under the guise of getting Raf a snowball like he promised in the scraplet episode. He surprises me by telling me that the main purpose of the trip was for me to experience the snow.

🖤 "But we'll still get Raf his snowball right?" I would question, wanting to make sure Raf was happy.

🖤 Op would appreciate my thoughtfulness. "Yes, we shall." He would say with a small smile.

🖤 We get to talking about games humans play in the snow, a conversation started after I attempt to make a snow angel. I would tell him about snowball fights and things like that.

🖤 Then I would make a snowball and throw it at his windshield on his chest. He would just slowly raise a metal eyebrow at me while the snowball sloooowlllly slides down his windshield.

🖤 I remember Arcee mentioning that "Primes don't party" and I realize I might have accidentally offended the serious leader. So, I sheepishly apologize and he accepts it. I can't really discern his thoughts as usual. Since, he keeps them very well hidden. I would worry I just ruined any progress on friendship with the stoic bot.

🖤 We take a walk and I end up checking out a tree with snow on its branches. When I go under it I notice Optimus didn't come over with me.

🖤 Before I can ask what's wrong, he raises his foot up and then stomps real hard on the ground. It causes the snow to fall off the branches and fall on me. Some even going down the back of my shirt!

🖤 (I make a lot of embarrassing noises when that happens.)

🖤 Then Optimus chuckles, which is basically the equivalent of keeling over with laughter for him. He comes over and helps gently dust the snow off of me and asks if he wins the snowball fight.

🖤 And I think in my head that I want to keep hearing him laugh.

🖤 (Op: is gentle and kind and then shows a hidden sense of humor, but is still kind-hearted about it.)

I hope you don't mind writing something about Curt again, because I've got an idea. Headcannons for lizard man! How do you think he acts with an overly affectionate s/o (they respect the fact that he's busy sometimes so they only do it when they can) doesn't care if he's a lizard man, They'll kiss him, pet him, whatever the heck he's comfortable as long as they can touch him (affectionately) S/o is and will (going to) run their hands all over his scales, (this includes his tail) also I fully believe his tail wags like a puppy, no I do not take criticism. :)

before curt had become a lizard; he had grown used to his s/o’s affections!

although it was a bit daunting at first, he grew to appreciate how loving you could be. whenever he could he’d return the favor, but a part of him really enjoyed being doted on (especially after a stressful day.)

like after coming home sometimes he’ll just crash into bed with you

when he became a lizard tho? he was fully prepared for you to become distant and break up with him. to curt that was inevitable, and he was afraid no one could love him in that state.

then boom. s/o proves him wrong!

like he’ll just walk in as a lizard expecting you to start screaming but then you lunge at him with what may be the tightest hug he’s ever received.

if lizards could blush he’d be red 😳

somehow now that he’s a lizard, his s/o’s affections have increased ten-fold

and curt would be lying if he said he didn’t revel in it either

imagine a large lizard man’s heart fluttering at being pecked on the cheek. that’s curt.

lots of him carrying you around, piggy back rides, bridal style, you name it he’s got u

as i’ve mentioned in previous hcs, this man purrs! straight up will start vibrating while you pet him.

when he’s the lizard he really tries to seem all intimidating, but the only one that doesn’t work with is his s/o

“Stop petting me like that. I’m not a dog.”

“Then why is your tail wagging?”

when you two haven’t seen each other in a while he really misses your affections :(

he always sleeps well in his lizard form if he’s cuddling you

speaking of sleep, sometimes his s/o will pet him to sleep and to him it’s literally heaven

before he can protest he can’t stop himself from nuzzling into your hand

he will also let you use him as a bed. like you can just lie down on him and he’ll refuse to move after that. all he does is hold you like a teddy bear <3

isn’t as affectionate with you as the lizard, bc he’s afraid of hurting you

but eventually he’ll grow comfortable with showing you love in that form, always trying to be as gentle as possible.

I told you so, and it happened! I was gently rejected. 💔 Guess that’s karma for dissing PeteKao -> goodbye brownie points. 🥲 But because I’m a very open minded person (that loves to be proven wrong) -> I promise I will watch the whole franchise again at some point. Maybe then I will like them better; but for now, I think it was the constant (imho unnecessary) misunderstandings that put me off a little bit. (Truth be told, I only watched DBK 🤭 -> perhaps if I had watched Kiss: The Series and Kiss Me Again beforehand I would have enjoyed PeteKao more.) I hope you can still appreciate my input to your inbox; I’m trying really hard here. 😥

Anyhow, to end the confusion once and for all: I am and will remain (for now at least…) the only Win-stan in your inbox. And yes, I prefer to keep that side of me anonymous. 🙃 As for why: apart from the fact that he looks beautiful on the one hand (“handsome” just doesn’t cover it) and like the human version of a frolicking puppy on the other… He has a beautiful soft spoken voice: every time I hear it smth within me just feels calm. 😌 Plus, he is just so funny. Cracks me up every time. Also, I am a very simp-le 🧷 soul: if someone speaks English, they get a brownie point from me.

As for Degrassi, I am not as ancient as I sound (just past the 25-age border). But if I may give some elderly advice: I think you might appreciate Adam’s story (season 10-13). 😉

Finally: lmao, look at us (not into angst or violence bc it triggers stuff) BOTH enjoying Not Me (thriller, lots of violence, constantly looming threat of being exposed)!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I just think it’s been a wild ride so far. And it proves once aGun 🧷 why OffGun is soo well-matched. Tbh, this definitely not my genre, so I can’t say a lot about the execution. (Btw, as far as film in general is concerned, I’m great at analysing screenwriting and to some extent metaphors and scenery -> but as for characters/ actual acting skills, I’m not your gal. 🙈) But as far as my personal opinion went, I liked it a lot. Somehow, it was a lot easier to get into than F4: Thailand. About that, I do actually agree with Thel. It brought up a lot of unwanted memories for me too. And judging from the tag, I think this opinion is shared by a number of people. I can also say as much as that I’m not the only Gorya-Ren shipper on the block. (Typical me: shipping the wrong couple! 🤥)

and actually, i am so sorry for the confusion, but i do not mind violence at all, especially when it's in a stick-it-to-the-man context like with not me or manner of death. it's angst that i hate. half the reason why i chose the name archer is actually because i've been shooting out people's kneecaps with a bow and some arrows in video games since i was 11, so if anything violence is kind of my thing (in fictional settings, of course).

and as for your p.s., i think most queer russians have a pretty complex relationship with that song, but i am glad it made for such a positive experience for you!!
