#right after I bought the poor calla lily it just started flopping over and mushy

Lowes currently has giant Colocasia bulbs (like the size of a cantaloupe). I killed my last one by over-watering... but popped off some offshoots (which are only about the size of a golf ball).

I honestly had a pretty shitty week, so I went and bought... umm... 3 of them... to go with my three baby bulbs. Figured that should fill the huge planter I killed the mother bulb in.

#obviously I'm going to water a lot less #i actually really loved it while it was alive #the leaves are incredibly beautiful with sunlight shining through them from the window #I have no idea if the baby bulbs will resprout... but I bet they will #i don't think the Calla Lily is going to come back though so I'm also going to buy some more of them eventually #but I'm going to buy them as bulbs so I can assure the store hasn't already half killed them #right after I bought the poor calla lily it just started flopping over and mushy #poor thing only lived a week... and I had even transferred it to a terracotta pot so it could get more air... but it didn't make it #bulbs are super easy... if you don't water them to death #i really love my tubers and caudexes... I legitimately have a thing for them
