LGBTQ+ FRIENDS:
Your dad doesn't get to choose if you know who you are or not.
Your mom doesn't chose if you're 'just confused.'
Your sister doesn't get to chose what pronouns you should feel comfortable with.
Your brother doesn't chose if you date boys or girls.
Your grandma doesn't get to be mad if you like reading gay books.
Your grandpa shouldn't yell at you and be angry if you say something that associates with the LGBTQ+ community.
NO ONE CAN TELL YOU YOU AREN'T VALID, NO ONE CAN TELL YOU YOU AREN'T OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW, NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR PRIDE.
You are who you are, even if thosse around you think you should hide it or deny it.
Lots of love <3
Sincerely, me
(aka Micah)

An interesting article with a little hope for the future but also I think some of you worker's rights protesters might be interested in this bit:
A gherao is a kind of protest in which employees refuse to let their managers or superiors leave the workplace until their demands are satisfied. The gherao originated in West Bengal when Subodh Banerjee, who was first labor minister then head of the public works department in the United Front Government of West Bengal in the late 1960s, introduced it as a formal means of protest in the labor sector. The gherao has been deployed time and time again as a tactic to protest against corporations and government actions since then.

So why do men get to choose
men think they have the right to choose reproductive rights. If they dont have a uteras or identify as a women, they don't get a choice weather a women can have an abortion.
Men can change the pay gap. But they dont. Women face harrasment and discrimination in the workplace and it disgusts me that some people think its normal. That some people dont even notice because thats what they have been brought up to see.
Men should learn about periods and about what women go through. In sex ed. Boys should learn not to be disgusted about periods because ITS NATURAL.
Any women, born female, trans, non binary fem, above the age of 15, nearly all have experianced some sort of harrassment or missogany.
Weather it be cat calling, comments like "women belong in the kitchen", online grooming, unwanted dick pics, creepy teachers. It has happened to nearly every one of us.
I am masc nonbinary, i use he/they. But i am still viewed as a women, i have a womens body. My first form of harrasment was at age 12. It was the worst experiance i have ever had. I thought the cat calling and creepy stairs was normal because nearly every women i have talked to has has the same experiance.
Dress code is another thing. Stop slut shameing litrill children. Are my fucking knee caps to slutty. Is every male student gonna nut their pants because of my ankels. No. Their not. Because some teenage boys have more self control than most male teachers.
We need to teach boys.
If you have brothers, friends who are boys, teach them. Talk to them about it.
One of my guy friends has only ever been friends with girls and he is one of the most respectful men i know.
I make this post after seeing the abortion laws in america. And roe v wade.
No one wants an abortion like they want ice cream. Its a last resort.
And if you think abortion is only justified from rape and incest then you belive a women first has to loose control of their body to then have a sliver of a chance at haveing control. No one owes you and explination of why they are haveing an abortion
After being sick of how women are treated, i have been sick and disgusted with this type of treatment for years
Its fucking 2022 we should be better.

Something that really irritates is when you get fans that insist that what mages go through isn't as bad as what elves go through, because they aren't literally being enslaved. Unless it's a Tevinter mage most Southern mages have suffered in some form so I don't know why people love to play 'who had it worse'. Not suffering as much as elves do doesn't automatically invalidate the mages plight. Bizarre...
I actually haven't seen too much oppression olympics come across my dash but I do curate my feed pretty heavily.
No one deserves to go through suffering and oppression, whoever they are, but I will admit that elves kind of did get the shit end of the stick in this series. Elven mages are just double fucked too. Unless they're Dalish, but even they have their own bag of problems.

Using the bathroom in general is a human right and should be enshrined as such and I'm not joking. Too many groups of people are denied bathroom breaks or the use of bathrooms entirely--disabled people, blue-collar workers, children, homeless people, prisoners, students, the elderly. I'm surely missing other groups. Not using the bathroom when needed can cause serious, long-term damage, not to mention death. Free, clean, accessible bathrooms should be available everywhere. It's fucking cruel to deny someone the use of the bathroom, regardless of the reasoning. I'd rather every student in the world goof off and every homeless person make a mess and every worker "steal company time" than let one person suffer because they're denied the right to fucking pee in peace.

to any americans who feel "paralyzed" and "dont know what to do" to help with gaza:
reading a fucking book. i beg of you.
in a time of knowledge suppression is it your duty to arm yourself with knowledge.
read about americas occupations in the middle east.
read about 9/11 from outside of america and see how they inflicted senseless harm and violence to countless amounts of people and have been suppressing your rights for the past 2 fucking decades.
read about any of the countless wars from the past 30 years. especially from a civilian's. and the victims and survivors' perspective. listen to the horror stories and do not plug your fucking ears as to what your country is doing.
and read about fucking gaza and palestine and keep up with what is happening no matter how "sad" or "uncountable" you might get.
dont look away from this.
you dont have the right to be comfortable during countless active genocides.
if you're knowledgeable, you're powerful, and our current state doesnt fucking want that.
you have the power to change things if you open your eyes and scream to the world.
wake the fuck up.
Edit: please check the reblogs there are readings and ways to help

the funniest thing about ttrpgs is that you can create a guy and say "his name is blorbo bleebus. he sucks severely. i hope that many misfortunes befall blorbo bleebus. he does not deserve to be happy." and at least one of your friends will immediately jump in to say "noooo... don't bully blorbo bleebus... i love blorbo bleebus..."

above all else a trans woman is a person. above all else a trans women is a woman who goes to the same grocery store as you and buys fruits in the same grocery cart as you and goes home and eats her dinner the same as you. above all else a trans woman is a woman who dresses like you do and talks the same way you do. above all else a trans woman is a woman who wants to be cared about the same way you want to be cared about and a trans woman is a woman who makes friends the same way you make friends. above all else you should care about trans women because they are people. treat her as such.

as my own direct immediate list of game grievances i hate that stardew valley expects you to side against a wheelchair user who is upset that he was moved without his consent. i hate that the mass effect trilogy gives you visible scarring as a direct result of choosing mean dialogue and heals it if you're nice. i hate that the vampire the masquerade ttrpg has a monstrous player class that can appear as horrible vampiric monsters or as visibly disabled people and both of these appearances are mechanically the same. i hate that dark souls games have a difficulty level implemented in a way that cannot be adjusted for disability. i hate that i can play as a mermaid or a werewolf or a horse in the sims games but can't use a wheelchair. i hate that the ace attorney games have so much flashing and not all of the games can disable it. i hate that disability is constantly something that happens to teach a lesson, i hate that disability is something that happens as a punishment, i hate that disability is either compensated perfectly with no drawbacks or something that is endlessly sought to be cured. i hate that no character customization will ever include the mobility aids i use, that the player avatars that represent me will never look like me. i am so goddamn annoyed and so goddamn tired.

i love when random tumblr users find my blog and go through it liking and reblogging everything in a frenzy, it feels like i’ve been cultivating a nice backyard with a lovely birdbath and feeder and i’ve glanced out the window to see a bird going absolutely wild with it

still the funniest plot point in all of pmmm that Homura Akemi is a 14 year old magical girl who realized that her sparkly transformation sequence did not come with a cutesy custom weapon like everyone else's so she just went online and googled "how to build a bomb"
