How Felix reacts to dating a bookworm
Tumblr media
Pairing: Felix Volturi x reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @xxx-wounded-angel-xxx
Story:
Hi! Could I get my beloved Felix Volturi with a bookworm reader please? Thank you :)
***
• Not long after you had found each other as mates, the very first thing that Felix learns about you is the fact you liked to read
• You always had a book with you, weather it’d be an actual book or a book you’re reading electronically
• To his amazement, you finish at least eight books before the end of the week and to Felix, that seemed to be a world record
• You tell him that reading is something you loved doing because it makes you feel like a traveler, traveling to places and even different universes
• The book series you were currently reading at this time was the Unwind series by Neal Shusterman and because Felix couldn’t quite get the knowledge of what the book was about, you go on to explain in a way he could understand it better
• “What’s it about?” Felix asks, not knowing what he’s really in for
• When it comes to talking about your favorite book, or a book Felix has never heard of, such as the one you’re reading now, you go on without missing a detail while telling him about how much you enjoy it
• Felix isn’t all that much into reading, but that was something that was about to change later on. But in the meantime, he respects you greatly for it, as you are his mate after all
• Every night without fail, you are always reading a chapter or two in bed while being snuggled up against Felix’s side, he would have his arm gently draped around you while pulling you as close to him as he could get you. You haven’t caught onto it yet, but while doing that, he would be silently reading along with you every page you turn
• For as long as you can remember, you would always read something until you felt tired enough to fall asleep and sleep the night away
• As you had gotten older over the years, and still to this day, you sometimes have those nights that even reading can’t do the trick in helping you to sleep. But nearly restless nights are a rare occurrences, they don’t come across you as they would to some others
• When those nights do come, however, Felix would offer to read aloud to you and you agree on the spot without hesitation. Handing over your book, you got into a comfortable position as you listen to his soothing voice narrating the story with your head on his chest and your eyes closed
• Moments later, you started dozing off until you allow for sleep to take over, finding the night’s rest and sleep through it peacefully. Felix would still be there holding you as the day’s sun comes up
• It took time, but before either of you know it, Felix had just about the same amount of love for reading as you, his mate
• Though you both have many things in common, this was the best one yet, right after the love you have for each other

Pairing: Alice x Reader
TW: Light cursing
Y/N: Werewolf reader with they/them pronouns
Word Count: 2147 words
Summary: As you're sitting outside the Cullen entrance waiting to take Bella home after Jake asked you for a favor Alice keeps you company. What'll happen when you start feeling something for one of your biggest enemies?
*For this story vampire's powers can be used on werewolves. Twilight is a weird universe, the Cullen's powers don't seem to work on werewolves but Jane's do? To save us the hassle let's just say they all work*
————————————
Alice POV:
(Graduation party at the Cullen's mansion)
Honestly everything was going amazing. People were having fun, they were dancing, Bella hadn't made a single remark about how much she disliked parties. Well... that's what I thought until I smelled that disgusting musk as I walked down the stair. I knew the werewolves had made their appearance and I knew Bella had invited them but I didn't know they would actually go through with this. A very short time after I could tell the werewolves were here, I had that vision.
————————————
Y/N POV:
"You invited me, remember?" I overheard Jake mention towards Bella. I really had no idea what I was doing tagging along with my brothers stupid antics, but some of us had to make sure he wouldn't burn the Cullen house down because of Bella and break the treaty between vampires and werewolves.
"Was my right hook too subtle for you? That was me uninviting you." the girl with brown hair mentioned to my hardheaded brother. I must admit this girl was weird but as soon as she said that I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, which earned a curse towards me from Jake as he thought it.
"Look Bella I'm sorry, about you know.. the kiss and your hand. I'd blame it on the whole inner animal thing, but it was really just... me, being an ass. I'm really sorry." Jake managed to say as a shitty apology for the possible trauma he put this girl through and I made sure he knew how bad this apology was through my thoughts, which caused Embry and Quil to chuckle next to me.
Jake brushed my stupid comment off and pulled out something out of his pocket to show Bella before saying "I brought you something, a graduation present." He gave her the bracelet with the werewolf pendant and I knew it was my turn to talk.
"I made it myself" I mentioned as I peered over Jake's shoulder to look at Bella. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I had seen her actually smile given the amount of times we've seen each other, maybe twice or three times. It was my first time home in a while after traveling.
"Wow... you made this? It's really pretty, thanks." She mentioned as Jake helped her put the bracelet on. That's when she noticed the short haired vampire girl at the end of the stairs looking puzzled, that's when we noticed her too. It was like as she had seen a ghost.
————————————
(Cullen mansion's balcony)
"They'll be here in four days." The short black haired vampire by the name of Alice mentioned as Carlisle managed to say "this could turn into a blood bath."
Edward, the red haired vampire fighting with my brother for Bella's love and adoration, added "who's behind it?" And Alice soon after that affirmed that she hadn't seen anyone she recognized except for local missing person, Riley Biers. The Cullen vampires started theorizing about who it could possibly be, until the tall long blond haired vampire with the name of Jasper mentioned an army would be coming and there wasn't enough of them to protect the town.
"Hold up, what damn army?" Jake asked puzzled enough to even be talking even if he had anger unresolved with the Cullens.
"Newborns, our kind." Carlisle finally let us know. New vampires made to destroy or so I thought.
"What are they after?" Embry beat me saving me from the embarrassment of asking myself. I didn't hate the vampires I just didn't know them enough myself to be speaking freely. “They're after Bella? What does this mean?” I thought. “What could they possibly want with a human girl?”
"They're after Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Jake commented. I was so grateful I had my brother and friends to ask these important questions for me. Carlisle finally let us know that this would be an ugly fight with lives lost. Jake, Embry, Quil, and I all looked at each other.
“What do you guys think?” Jake questioned in his head. I was sure he wanted to protect the girl he loved but I wasn't sure this girl loved him back. Although... Bella's life wasn't the only human life at risk here. “Our duty is to protect human lives from any vampire, I'm in if you guys agree on it.” Quil mentioned as he thought. “I wont deny to it but we also can't get too carried away and lose a werewolf life for Bella.” Embry thought. “Bella's life isn't the only one at risk here, what's preventing these newborn vampires from attacking any of the Forks citizens when they feel like it? We have to get rid of every last one of them.” I mentioned in my mind.
"All right, we're in" Jake insisted as he turned his head to look at Carlisle. I guess this caused Bella to panic a bit because she started refusing to let us fight in this newborn war. Which my brother quickly shut her down by mentioning he wasn't asking from permission. This caused Bella to look at Edward, waiting for him to say something.
That's when Edward said "it means more protection for you." Carlisle quickly followed this with a "Jacob, do you think Sam would agree to an understanding?"
“We get to kill some vampires, I'm sure he'll understand.” Embry thought. Quil then added in his head “as long as all of us werewolves come out intact.” Then I finished the last thought with “some blood will be spilt and it sure as hell wont be ours.” For the first time ever the Cullen vampires and us, werewolves, were getting along. Let's see how long this'll last.
"As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jacob mentioned in response to Carlisle's question. This is when Jasper mentioned that with us helping they'd have more numbers and the newborn vampires wont even know we exist.
————————————
(Cullen’s front door steps)
Sometime later after my brother and friends left, I stayed behind to make sure Bella returned home safe. I was sitting on the stairs outside the Cullen home when Alice came out to check up on me I suppose. It wasn't like I didn't notice how uncomfortable I made her or how whenever she came close she seemed to cover her nose with her hand.
"Are you sure you want to stay out here, Bella's telling me how cold it is, don't you want to come inside and-" before Alice could finish her sentence I interrupted her and said as I made eye contact with her "I'm not human, I run hot, I don't get cold. Why do you think my brother and friends run around shirtless all the damn time?" I'll agree I was being a bit rude not letting her finish her sentence, but I was on the edge. As much as I had liked to mention how I didn't have any problems with the Cullens something in us werewolves made us skittish at any close contact with vampires.
"Well... if you don't mind I can sit here with you, keeping you company, until Bella's ready to leave that is and if you'd have me" Alice mentioned, dragging me out of my deep thinking. What was wrong with this girl? She seemed to have no second thinking. I had heard about her amazing powers at being able to see the future but was she just so certain of everything that she'd come close to one of her biggest predators? All I could do was nod and look away as she took a seat next to me.
"I might not be a mind reader like Edward but I do know what you're thinking, I can see the future after all... okay that came out creepier than expected" she chuckled as she made lines on the dirt with her index finger. Now that I thought about it... her hands were beautiful, they were slender and pale, how cold could they really be? If she had me holding her hand I'd make sure she was warm all the time, oh god what was I thinking? There's no way I could ever imagine myself with a vampire. As I heard my brother and friends complaints in my head I knew they were against the idea.
"You don't have to listen to your family, I mean it should be up to you whether you'd like to date whoever you'd like" Alice snapped me out of my thoughts one more. Dammit I forgot she knew everything I was thinking before I thought it. If I was annoyed at my family doing that I could just shield my thoughts away from them but Alice could just listen into whatever she wanted.
Alice chuckled before saying "you know I know what you're thinking and everything but it's so much better when I can have an actual conversation with someone." That's when she looked my way and showed me her beautiful smile, then and there I knew I had fallen under the vampire control. The books said it, humans who saw them said it, even my family's stories mentioned how beautiful they were and here I was charmed by one.
"Oh yes! Sorry about that it's just... I got caught in my thinking and well you were answering me back" I chuckled "I guess I felt like you were a part of the werewolves since we all just kind of talk inside our heads to each other."
That's when I head the door open behind us, as I looked behind me I could see Bella peeking her head out and I could hear Edward telling her to be safe and to be careful around me. I didn't have problems with Edward, I understood all he wanted to do was protect Bella. Plus I thought this fight between him and Jake was stupid anyway.
"Am I interrupting something?" Bella mentioned as she looked between me and Alice who seemed to be sitting a little too close to each other.
————————————
3rd POV:
"Nope, I was just keeping Y/N here some company while you made up your mind to leave." Alice smiled and got up as she patted away the dirt from her clothing. Alice seemed to be a girl of high class, the kind of girl who stressed over having the latest bag or piece of clothing. She didn't give off the brat vibe, she just seemed like she put a lot of effort into herself. Yet... here she was sitting on the dirty ground with Y/N just because they didn't want to be inside. They could've at least given her their sweater to sit on or something.
Y/N looked at Bella and said to her "are you ready? We don't have to leave if you aren't ready." Everyone noticed how Bella and Edward seemed attached at the hip, never own without the other, one always trailing behind.
"Oh don't worry about that I've had my fun, plus I think it's cruel leaving you waiting more. I know how faithful you guys are to each other and if Jake asks a favor you'd do it. The same goes for the other werewolves."
"Well... if there's nothing more to do then let's get going, I have a date with my comfy bed." Y/N mentioned as they stretched but Alice caught their attention before they could leave.
"Hey Y/N! Before you leave here..." she handed them a small paper with her phone number on it.
"We should hang out soon... somewhere where it's not so full of dirt" she chuckled. Y/N nodded before they left with Bella. They knew the dirt had bothered Alice. She gave them her number... and all they did was nod and walk away!
————————————
I hope you guys enjoyed that, I'm not a pro at writing fan fiction and even though I've mastered English as a language I still have some trouble as it is not my mother tongue. If you guys would like to see more of this please let me know or let me know who you'd like me to write for.

Loser. - Jacob Black X Mike Newton X Edward Cullen - 18+ MPreg - 6. Occupied
Tumblr media
Riley Biers: 18, Xavier Samuel, Newborn Vamp TW: SA February 12th, 2006 9:05 PM Mike was still a little upset at what happened this morning. Jacob hasn't been texting him back, and Bella hasn't been coming to work, so he drove to La Push to confront him but was stopped. Mike tried to run him over, but he was too fast. Sam Uley stood before the SUV and told him they were dealing with werewolf stuff, and he couldn't be a part of it.
He kept trying to call him hands-free as he was driving to Seattle. Since Mike could drive by himself, they had been forcing him to go. He hated this long ass trip, but at least he got to hang out with his parents. He doesn't like his parent's views but still loves them. He would even sing and gossip with them on this trip.
He did errands for his parents, such as getting used Bibles from closing down churches, attending storage unit auctions, and picking up his mother's order from a furniture store. When he was done, he walked through the mall to a music store to listen to more audiobooks or CDs on his drive home.
He also spent a pretty penny on a tuxedo for the dance, he always had to use the hand-me-downs from his Uncle, and most of his clothes were from the 80s. Mike used some of his earnings to eat out before he had to head home, Romano's Macaroni Grill. The only food restaurant to eat at was Keatons in Forks, and that was mostly fried food. Port Angeles had some chains, but they would have to come to Seattle if they wanted good food.
He felt a little stupid going to the dance alone for two days. It was a combination of the winter formal and valentines Day so the school could save money. He was hoping that it was Eric calling him to tell him that he locked down most of the voters giving them 50% off coupons to Olympic Outfitters.... but it was Jacob.
"Hello..."
"Hey, Sam told me that you were trying to come see me. You want more of this-"
"Why haven't you been texting me back," Mike interrupted as Jacob had acted like he was 'the Man' after fucking him the other day.
"Oh, there are a couple of people after Bella. The Wolves are stepping in to protect her since vampires suck." Jacob said in a 'no big deal' tone.
"Should I be worried?"
"Nah, I marked my territory around your house and in your car, if you know what I mean,"
"I knew my car smelled different," Mike mumbled.
"Where are you at? Eric's again?" Jacob asked as he lay down on the branch outside Bella's room.
"I had to run some errands for my parents. I am eating on a balcony right now,"
"When are you going to be back? I miss your scent," Jacob said, and Mike blushed... he hated that it turned him on that Jacob was always smelling him.
"My food just came out, so probably four or so hours," Mike mumbled, wanting to be in bed. He wanted to convey how mad he was at Jacob, but it wasn't coming across as he missed him so much.
"Wait... 4 hours? Where are you," Jacob sat up, realizing he didn't answer the first time.
"Seattle?" Mike said, a little concerned that Jacob's tone had changed. "Hello?" Mike asked as he could tell Jake was quickly talking, but he was breaking up. He looked at his phone. "Sorry, I am losing service. I will text you when I am headed home,"
Mike chowed down on his pizza and 'built a pasta.' He put almost everything on the menu and loved every bite. He wiped his mouth with a napkin when he felt eyes on him. He turned to see in front of him to see a good-looking guy and a red-headed woman sitting at a table at the end of the balcony. He blushed but finished eating, giving the waitress a large tip before he left.
He still felt eyes on his back and was a little spooked. He asked a larger waiter to see him at his SUV, far from in the parking lot. He texted Jake that he was off, but when driving just outside the city. He saw it didn't end when he parked at a gas station. He kept trying to send it as he filled up his tank.
As he had downed several glasses of Dr. Peppers at lunch, he was icked out by the gas station. No one was there but one gas station attendant, there were blinking lights, and the sound of the buzzing light almost overpowered the highway. He locked his Escalade looking around before he ran into the station. He looked around for the bathroom but couldn't find it.
"Bathrooms are outside," The employee said without looking up from his magazine.
"Really?" Mike whined, and the man looked up, "I mean, can't I pay you, and I can use the employee bathroom? Going to outside bathrooms in creepy gas stations is like Horror Film 101,"
"Bathrooms. Are. Outside," He repeated, and Mike groaned. He told himself he was just being skittish, and he couldn't make it to drive to another gas station. He ran to the side of the station. and then to the other side as he went the wrong way.
Knocking on the door, he didn't hear anyone saying 'occupied.' so he turned the knob. He gasped as the first thing he saw was a man with black eyes looking down at him with a smirk. He recognized him as the guy staring at him at the restaurant. He stepped back before running to his car and screaming bloody murder, but the guy cupped his face.
"Come on inside..." Riley said with compulsion dripping out of his mouth, Mike tried to fight it, but he felt his body moving forward.
Mike was cornered into the bathroom as his omega was drawn to the vampire. He tried not to look into his eyes since Jake told him when he was face to face with a vampire as thats the main thing with compulsion. Riley still didn't know how not to play with his food, but Mike was so delicious. They didn't know he was with Bella's group before the phone call, but they had been stalking him throughout the day.
"Your scent has been driving me insane all day, even with that mutt's scent mixed in with it," Riley said, cupping Mike's face. He could feel the blood flowing through every vein in his body. Mike was shivering as he was terrified. He knew what he was. It didn't help that the man was freezing cold. He ripped Mike's shirt off and thumbed the mark on his neck.
Mike pushed at his chest, but he didn't budge. He felt an ice-like fit under his waist badly and down to prod his pretty hole. Mike's body betrayed him and slicked up. He moaned and lulled his head back, resting on the wall.
"I am going to turn you... you will be my plaything when Victoria is being difficult," Riley whispered in his ear, "I know you hate Bella. I could feel it when the mutt said her name."
"I-I don't, though," Mike whimpered as he rested his head on Riley's neck, letting down his guard as Riley found the vein in his neck before latching his teeth. He screamed and writhed in pain with the venom injected into his veins. The Newborn Vampire widened his eyes as he heard footsteps approaching. He was ready before the door was off the hinges. He vowed to himself that he would finish the job later and fully turn Mike, but he had to book it now.
"Shit..." Edward was torn between catching up with Riley, killing him, and helping Bella's friend writhing on the floor. He was an Omega, so the venom wasn't fatal to him. His body could naturally fight off anything.... but he was an empath. "Mike," Edward really didn't know his name. It was shot in the dark out of three names starting with M's.
"G-Go after him," Mike hissed as tears streamed down his face, "He mentioned Bella," Mike said, trying to be the bigger person as he was going through the worst pain his entire life. He felt lifted and pinned up against the wall in place as Edward was sucking the venom out of him.
Edward really struggled, even more than when he had to suck the venom out of Bella. Slight blood made it through with the venom, making his eyes dilate. It was unlike anyone he had drained before... If human blood was like cocaine for Vampires, the Omega's blood was heroin.
Mike panted as the venom escaped his body. A small amount was left as Edward didn't want to get any straight blood. Edward lapped his tongue over the bite to close it, panting along with Mike as he rested his head on the dirty tiles of the bathroom.
The Employee wasn't coming out of the station. He knew what had happened in these streets. "E-Edward?"
"It's okay, I am okay... just need a minute to recuperate," Edward was fighting the urge to drain Mike. It was good that Carlisle had made Emmett come after them when word got around Mike was in Seattle. Bella was the only human Carlisle had gotten attached to in centuries, but he needed to ensure he was safe with all the opportunities with Mike.
"Eddie, you okay?" Emmett asked, stepping into the bathroom. Mike looked at the corner of the room, not wanting to look into Emmett's eyes. Eric wasn't really a detective. The Cullens knew Mike was a little obsessed with Emmett as he stared at him constantly. "The Douche is going to kill you if you bite him..."
"I'm good... I'm good," Edward licked his lips and dug his nails into his palms. "Take him to his car... I need to eat," He bit his lip, and Emmett quickly relieved him. Edward left a cold gust leaving Mike freezing and vulnerable. He quickly crossed his arms over his chest as he felt a little self-conscious about his budding nipples.
Emmett hadn't touched a human for decades; remembering he had to be gentle, he took off his coat and wrapped it around Mike's shoulder. This bathroom was so disgusting he didn't want to pick the shirt up off the floor and put it back on him.
"Can you walk, or are you lightheaded," Emmett asked.
"Yes..." Mike said and stepped, but the bathroom was swirling in his vision. Emmett chuckled and picked him up, toting him to the car.
"He is safe. Edward is eating," Emmett pulled out his phone and called Bella, knowing that Jacob could hear him. Trying to avoid the mutt was pointless as he snatched the phone from Bella.
"He was bitten, who bit him... I am going to rip their necks off and feed them to vultures while he is still alive," Jacob rambled nonsense, showing Bella how much he cared about Mike.
"He was bitten by the same Vampire that was snooping around Bella's room, Victoria's bitch," Emmett said, snapping in Mike's face and ensuring he was responsive. He heard Alice trying to calm Jacob down, saying he was an Omega and wouldn't turn.
"We will get him later. I can see it... Does Mike need anything? You can feel what he is deficient in," Alice spoke, but Jacob growled, jumping out of the window as he felt himself near shifting. "Em, is he responsive?" She could hear the snaps.
"Sort of. I think he is just nervous around me," Emmett said, and Mike blushed, "When Edward gets back, I will go into the store and buy him some Gatorade and crackers,"
"We need you back here as you're the strongest. Tell Edward he needs to drive Mike back," Alice told him, and Emmett nodded, trying to get Mike to tell him what happened before Edward arrived.
------- TW: Mentioned Childhood Abuse 10:59 PM Mike was still sipping on his Gatorade and trembling as they made it through Elwha. Mike was understandably weary around vampires. It was a little comical that Edward was putting up with listening to High School Musical with Mike on the way home. He turned down the radio slightly to talk.
"Michael..." Edward spoke, and Mike flinched but then looked at Edward, "Michael was the name of the first person I drained the life from... he was a rapist-murderer in London, England. He was a horrible person, but I guess you are okay..."
"Is that why you don't like me?"
"Huh? Of course not," Edward scoffed, "You're not the same person... I don't like humans. You're a good friend to Bella, though, even though it seems she isn't as good to you,"
"So, one of the first things you ever say to me is that I have the same name as a murderer?"
"I didn't mean it like that... I am not a talker. Ask Bella." Edward furrowed his eyebrows and looked over at the innocent human. "I am so sorry I wasn't here earlier... my Uncle used to..." Edward said that before he stopped, no one knew about his childhood trauma. "I'm... I'm just sorry."
"It's not your fault... either one," Mike said, looking down, "The camp counselor at the church camp my parents sent me to when I was six used to touch me... they didn't believe me when I told them and kept sending me back," Mike said, and Edward was surprised at the honesty. It took him over a century to talk about what happened to him.
"What the hell?" Edward asked himself, and Mike widened his eyes as he had just told one of his darkest secrets, "Not you," Edward placed a hand on Mike's shoulder as he pulled over.
"What are you doing? Why are you pulling over," Mike said, and Edward gave an annoyed look as he pointed into the woods. For the first time, Mike saw Jacob in all his wolf glory jumping out of the woods and forming back into his human. They were almost an hour away from Forks, and he had been running since he jumped out of Bella's window.
When he saw him, Mike pulled at the handle, and Edward unlocked the doors. They tackled each other in an embrace. While Jacob wanted to do the same, Mike was sobbing but staying strong.
"Thank you, Bloodsucker," Jacob said, hiding his face in Mike's neck, sucking and licking at his wound to improve it. "I got it..." He said, and Edward gave him a nod stepping out of the Escalade and running back to Bella's house. "I love you," Jacob said for the first time and nuzzled his nose into Mike's neck, comforting him as he cried, "I am so sorry I wasn't protecting you..." The Hunter
Riley Biers x Huntress!mate
Requested @lightmeblackp
Could you please do a one shot of Riley with a huntress mate?
Tumblr media
You were the only huntress in Forks. You sometimes traveled, but if a vampire was out of line, you end them.
The same day you heard about the Seattle massacres, you knew it had to be bloodsuckers. So you traveled down to have a look for yourself. You could have just asked Carlisle, but you didn't trust the Cullens.
You have been trying to take down the Volturi for a few months now, each attempt failed.
When you arrived in Seattle, and you took in the sight of all the damages the newborns have caused, you couldn't believe your eyes.
After searching, hunting down the leader, Riley Biers. You found him. He was gorgeous, more gorgeous than anyone you've ever seen. You caught yourself staring,
"Focus, Y/N." You whispered to yourself. Then a cold hand touched your shoulder.
"Y/N, tell me why you were following me?" He whispered into your ear.
You lost all abilities to speak and think. You have never done this before. He had a strange affect on you.
"Um," You mumbled as he turned you around to face him. "Beautiful." You whispered. Riley smirked at you. Even his smile was flawless.
"You're adorable, but tell me why, or I'm gonna have to kill you." Riley said wincing in pain, like that sentence hurt him.
"I'm a huntress, I was checking out what you and your army were doing here." You said with a straight face.
"Hm, I see." Riley said letting go of your shoulder as he turned his back to you.
"I'm s-sorry if I offended you." You mumbled. This behavior definitely was not like you at all.
"No, no, you didn't. It's quite alright, Love." Riley said brushing a strand of hair out of your face.
"You're very beautiful." You whispered.
"So are you." Riley mumbled.
You snapped back into reality. "Um, yeah, this is uh, pretty awkward, I really must be going now." You mumbled trying to walk past him, when he grabbed your hand. You felt like you were on fire.
"Yeah, I can't let you leave." Riley whispered. He pulled you into his chest and put his hand on your cheek. "Not without doing this." Riley whispered again, giving you time to pull away, he pressed his cold lips to your warm ones. It felt like heaven being that close to him. You never wanted to break that kiss, let alone leave him. You pulled away for air and Riley smirked. He let go of you, you immediately missed his touch.
"Don't be a stranger, Y/L/N." Riley whispered as he walked away.
"What the hell did I just do?" You mumbled to yourself.
As you found yourself walking back to your hotel, you couldn't stop thinking of that kiss. You were here to kill him, not fall in love with him. You knew you were his mate. You knew enough about vampires to know what having a mate feels like. You took many away from there mates. How could you be mated to a vampire? You came from a long line of hunters and huntresses. Were you really about to throw that all away?
You knew you couldn't physically live without him, vice versa.
As you laid down on your bed and closed your eyes. You thought about how you felt towards Riley. Why did you miss him? He was the enemy.
You just couldn't believe you were mates with Riley Biers, the leader of the newborns you were sent to kill.

summary: You and Jessica go to Bella's and Edward's wedding
pairing: Jessica Stanley x fem!Swan!reader
warnings: none
Tumblr media
”OKAY, be honest", Jessica walked out of the bathroom for the fifth time this morning. "Does this make me look fat?"
She was wearing one of your favourite dresses on her actually, deep honey-coloured strapless dress. You always loved it on her because of how it complemented her hair.
You sat in front of her on her bed, in your bright aquamarine-coloured pantsuit and heels. Jessica had done both of your hairs earlier, and you had been glad you had stayed the night when she had been pulling your locks early in five in the morning. That and also you were glad to have been out of Bella's hair as she no doubt didn't need any more hovering she already got from Alice.
"You look gorgeous as always hun", You leaned your arms back on the bed. "You always do, you know that."
"Well, yeah", Jessica somewhat reluctantly, yet smiling, agreed and turned to look at herself from the mirror. As she smoothed down the skirt part and twisted her back to see how it was looking there, you got up and wrapped her into a hug.
"Seriously, you look amazing Jess", you reassured her with a kiss on the cheek. Your phone went off, a message from Bells asking you to come and get her head straight. You huffed at the message, knowing it was probably Alice who had written it.
Grabbing your purse and looking at your girlfriend (girlfriend, it still made your stomach tingle) one more time, you declared you had to leave.
"Wait, wait, wait", Jessica awkwardly fast-walked in her heels with the best of her ability and came over to you with some lipgloss. "Oh, c'mon, it looks amazing with your eyes."
She painted some on as you watched her. After a mandatory 'pop' and a satisfied nod from Jess, you bid her goodbye and went outside to your car. She'd be getting a lift from Mike, so you could drive you both later to your place.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and even though he would deny it to the ends of the world, even Charlie teared up when Bella walked down the aisle by his side. Her gown was beautiful, simple yet stunning. Alongside her, you got congratulations on now being part of the family.
"Ugh I can't wait to get to organize your wedding", Alice cheered happily as the party got going. You stood with Jessica, hands locked together and both smiling stupidly. Jasper sent an amused look to his wife.
"We just have to hope it won't be too long", you said, trying your best to not taint the happy mood. Jessica beamed at your side, always the cheery one.
"We'll get it one day. And besides, in the mean time we can get ideas from others' weddings", She said leaning to your arm, grinning from ear to ear. She was still in the sort of gay-honeymoon phase where everything was so amazing and cool and joyous after realizing this part of herself. You mumbled a 'you're right' and kissed the tip of her nose affectionately before Jess spotted Eric, Mike and Angela on the other side of the dance floor.
You stayed to chat up with Alice and Jasper a bit longer, not having had the chance properly especially after the whole Riley Biers thing.
"You two are really made for each other", Alice smiled sweetly as you stood there blushing. Jasper agreed with her, an arm around her waist.
"I'm glad you've found your happiness."
"Thanks, guys", you said with a happy sigh. Jessica was talking with Mike, Angela and Eric about something, moving her arms wildly animating the story in the usual Jessica Stanley way. It made you smile knowing that was your person.
"I'm glad too."

summary: a chance encounter puts Fiona Tanner in the sights of the Cullen family. Emmett takes an immediate liking to her, but Edward thinks she's a threat to the family. No Emmett x Rosalie. warnings: kidnapping, ooc behaviour? words: 4kish
FIONA TANNER SEATTLE, DAY 1
From the moment her boots hit the cement on the busy Seattle sidewalk, the search was on. Holding tightly to the handle of her suitcase she tried to get her bearings. Fiona Tanner’s sister had been missing for months. The cops had nothing, and they weren’t taking any of Fiona’s advice.
“Let us do our jobs, ma’am. We’ll find your sister…” had not so slowly turned into “we can’t find someone that doesn’t want to be found.” Insinuating that her sister had run away with some boy, over the fact that the cops simply hadn’t done a good enough job. Bree was a troubled kid, who left home in a hurry before she’d turned fifteen. But she always stayed in contact with Fiona. Little messages from burner phones to let her sister know that she was okay.
A person could only drag their sister back just to watch her run away again so many times before they needed an alternative solution.
Like she was going to just sit around and hope that they were right. She was an extra set of eyes and ears. There was nothing that could stand between her, and finding her sister. At the very least she was going to get the truth.
Besides, she knew for a fact that her sister was dead.
The bus dropped Fiona off in front of an old diner. It looked out of place next to two modern buildings, but the charm of it drew her in. The ladies inside were friendly, offering her a table and some coffee. She ordered a burger with fries and a root beer. While the waitress withdrew to the kitchen, Fiona pulled out a map of the city that she had started using as her guide to remember everything. The map and a small notebook she’d bought at the dollar store.
The map had a small blue X over a bookstore just a few blocks over, which was her first stop after getting some lunch. Now seemed like the best time to take stock of everything she knew so far.
Bree’s friends had no idea where she was. But they weren’t the brightest bunch, and not really the trustworthy type either.
Another boy from the area had gone missing recently as well. Riley Biers, last seen in May, 2010. He went missing near Pike Place Market.
Bree wouldn’t ever just run away with someone without telling her. She was in trouble.
And that was it. That was all Fiona knew.
But the family couldn’t just move on. Bree had looked exactly like Fiona did at her age. It became a curse when her own parents would struggle to look into her eyes, preferring to stare into their glass whenever she entered the room. It was like that a year ago, but when she had to tell her parents that she’d been talking to Bree, and hadn’t told them…
Being away from them wasn’t the worst thing right now.
It wasn’t something she wanted to think about at that moment. Her concentration needed to be on her investigation.
“Here ya go,” the waitress said, setting down the plate of food. Fiona smiled, and slid her map out of the way. She was starving.
She picked up a fry and brought it to her mouth, but suddenly felt… wrong. There was a weird feeling in her mind. Like someone was watching. No, not watching. Listening.
Then clear as day she heard it. This tiny little nagging voice that had started harassing her a few weeks ago. It sounded just like her sister, except this voice was deeper, raspy like she was dying of thirst.
Run, Fiona.
She put the fry back and grabbed a twenty from her wallet, strolling up to the counter to pay and get a to go container. Fiona kept her cool, but kept her defences up.
Don’t think about me.
Fiona looked around the diner. There were two teens taking pictures of their milkshakes and giggling. Then there was a couple. A girl and an Abercrombie model. Only one plate of food between them.
As if on cue, the boy picked up one of her fries and put it in his mouth. But Fiona didn’t miss the confused look on the girls’ face when he did it. He whispered something under his breath that made the girl look down, her hair making a waterfall to block out her face. But it didn’t matter, Fiona had his face painted in her memories.
I said, run!
The voice was annoying. But the scary thing to Fiona, was that she could hear dead people. Kind of like a medium, but she suppressed it. Pushed it down, down, down until it was suffocated. Bree, however, always knew how to get under Fiona’s skin.
Please, Fiona thought, just tell me what happened.
I told you, it’s not safe. Go home!
“Lady?” said the waitress, holding out the change to her. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” Fiona said, putting her phoney smile back on. “Sorry, keep the change.” She took her to go box to the table and threw the fries in it, and everything else she owned back in her bag. She flipped it over one shoulder gracefully and grabbed her burger, taking a big bite of it. She looked back at the couple, but caught his narrowed eyes staring at her.
He was the one listening. She tried to immediately cover her thoughts by thinking the alphabet as loud as possible, but she could read from the look on his face that it was too late.
You’re going to get hurt. Bree had been fighting Fiona every step of the way. Putting fake clues in her mind, trying to push out clues that were helpful…
It was annoying.
C’mon Bree, Fiona thought. Gimme a clue.
How about a hint?
Yes, Bree! Please give me a hint.
Okay, go home. That’s your hint. Goodnight.
Goodnight, yourself. It’s not even dark out.
FIONA TANNER SEATTLE, DAY 2
Wake up!! Bree was shouting. It was frantic, unlike anything Fiona had ever heard before. Please, Fiona, please, wake up!! Someone is in the bathroom!
In a second, all of the grogginess was wiped away. Fiona sat up quickly, pulling the blankets to her chest. She had triple, quadruple checked that the door was locked before bed. And she could see that it was still locked now. How could someone have…
I think… they’re leaving.
How?? Fiona was starting to shake. There’s no window in there.
Then something in the air shifted. And the only reason she knew something was different was the tiny breeze she felt on her face, and the fact that the door wasn’t locked anymore.
Who was in here, Bree?
I’m not telling.
But you know?
No.
Liar.
Fiona rubbed her temples. Bree’s yelling had given her a headache. To make things worse, Bree was loudly singing, “go hoooooome” over and over. Fiona got up, changed out of her pyjamas into jeans and a white tee. And pulled her boots on. She has at the edge of the bed for a minute, her head in her hands as she took some deep breaths.
Fiona looked out the window, and noticed something bizarre. There was a girl, standing stiff as a board. And Bree went radio silent.
Know that girl?
When Bree didn’t answer, Fiona dropped down, hiding herself out of view. Holy shit! Do you actually know that girl?
Fiona was getting tired of this. If Bree wasn’t going to talk, someone else was going to. With reckless abandon, she threw open the door and stomped across the parking lot, not really caring that this girl was starring at her.
“Do you know Bree Tanner?” Fiona asked loudly, before she was even close to the girl.
Shut up! Shut up! You have no idea what you’re starting!
“Excuse me?” said the girl. She was impossibly beautiful. The kind of beautiful that wasn’t even fair for the rest of the world.
“My sister is Bree Tanner, and I think she knows you.”
“And how could you know that?”
“She told me.”
“I doubt that.”
“Why? Because she’s dead?”
The girl shut up after that. Fiona was getting sick and tired of no one answering her questions. She knew she was playing with fire, but she didn’t care. If this girl was some drug dealer who got Bree killed, she was going to find out. And she wanted to find out today, right now.
“I don’t care what shit you’re in with the police, I just want to know what happened to her.”
Shut. Up! Or you’ll be dead like me.
The girl didn’t speak again. “Do you know the boy who listens?”
The next five seconds went faster than she could have possibly believed. She was suddenly in complete darkness. With all her belongings beside her. In a small, tight space. Where was she? What happened.
You’re in a TRUNK, dumbass, you just got kidnapped.
Well that, was bad news for Fiona. She wanted to scream but her mouth was covered. She wanted to fight but her hands were tied. How did that happen? How did she miss her own kidnapping?
The boy who could listen was here. Probably in the car. She could feel him in there.
“How could she know this much?” The beautiful girl asked. Fiona had no idea why, but she could hear them in her head. In her mind.
“Be quiet,” he said sharply.
Silence.
“She can hear us,” he said. “I can’t… I can’t look in her mind, I’m just hearing my words echoed back, louder than her thoughts. I think she’s burying them.”
Instead of burying them, she turned it around. Played it loud like shouting into a megaphone. Did you do this to Bree, too? And then she projected Bree’s image. She closed her eyes and tried to push every detail of her sister’s face into his mind. But, he edited it. Saw it the way he saw it, with bright red eyes. She felt the car swerve violently and she cracked her arm as she rolled onto it. It hurt so badly. She hoped it wasn’t broken but the way her fingers stopped responding to her made her worried.
“Knock it off!” he shouted.
“What?” His passenger asked. Don’t be rude, she thought.
Not you, Rosalie. Did the listening boy think that?
It was getting too confusing for her to keep all these voices straight. Rosalie was sitting with the boy who listens. She didn’t know his name. It made no sense, how could she hear them? She could only ever hear the dead, but this wasn’t the same. Bree sounded like she was in the middle of Fiona’s brain, but the other two… they sounded like Fiona was listening to them from a couple feet away. They were on the outside, and Bree was on the inside.
Please, Bree begged, I don’t know how to help you now.
It didn’t matter. Fiona passed out.
EMMETT CULLEN FORKS, DAY 1
Emmett hated when the family went into crisis mode. Jasper didn’t want to play chess because he was too busy fretting over Alice. Edward was having four panic attacks a day thinking that these “loose ends” were going to get Bella killed. And Carlisle and Esme were making Plan B arrangements in case they had to move, which is what everyone kept saying. No one was brave enough to say in case we have to kill her.
He heard Edward and Rosalie driving over the speed limit. Faster than ever, maybe. And he was excited to at least see some kind of action around here. Ever since he got to the house everyone has treated him like he’s stupid. Which he was not.
“Jasper!” Emmett called, beaming up the stairs. “They’re coming!”
“Yes, thank you Emmett. I hear them too.” Jasper spoke normally. Knowing Emmett could hear him through the walls.
Edward skidded his car to a quick stop in front of the house. Emmett happily joined Carlisle and Esme on the front lawn. They had all agreed to greet their guest and try to explain things as civilly as possible. Edward and Rosalie were supposed to go get her, invite her on a tour around town and then invite her for a dinner. Emmett was excited to make a friend, and also excited to watch his family force down a pizza. They all got so miserable after eating human food.
“Oh dear,” Esme said.
Emmett didn’t understand what the big deal was. Edward was out of the car, talking to Bella on the phone. The wedding was still a ways away, this was only supposed to be a minor inconvenience. Rosalie had run off into the woods before even greeting anyone. She hadn’t been coping well lately and hadn’t spent much time talking to anyone. Not that she was very friendly on a regular basis.
Only then did Emmett notice that the car door was open, but he could tell the heartbeat he heard and the blood he smelled was behind a wall of metal. She wasn’t in the backseat. They put her in the trunk?
Seemed a little rude.
The girl was bleeding back there too. Probably why Rosalie had to run. He couldn’t blame her, this girl smelled so good. She smelled like joy would taste.
“Pop the trunk!” Emmett said, laughing at Edward’s constipated expression.
“Emmett,” Carlisle whispered. His dad didn’t want to make a joke out of this. “Edward, please.”
Edward didn’t get off his phone call but clicked open the trunk with his keys. Emmett and Carlisle ran over to examine the damage.
As soon as Emmett saw her, he was smitten. Absolutely smitten. She was so pretty. The most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. Short black hair, round little face with the pinkest lips in the world. And they looked like they would be so fun to kiss. Emmett was aware his brother wasn’t answering Bella, and instead was staring at Emmett, but he didn’t care though. He could see the relation to Bree in her features, but she was definitely older.
“Her arm is broken,” he said. “I’ll bring her to my office and set it, and cast it.”
Esme coughed for a moment, briefly distracted by the pooling of blood in the trunk of Edward’s Volvo. “Need anything from your office, dear?”
Emmett could see the appreciation on Carlisle’s face. Emmett wanted love like these two had. Or like Alice and Jasper. Or Edward and Bella. Or Rosalie and her reflection. Carlisle gave her a short list of things he would need to cast her arm, he was only missing a few things that he had used before they came back to town.
Carlisle reached to pick her up, but Emmett swatted his hands away quickly. Not harshly, as it wasn’t meant to hurt Carlisle. But Emmett had to do it himself. He had to be the one to carry this girl. It didn’t matter what Edward wanted. No one was going to hurt her. Edward doesn’t get to always have everything his way.
“What’s her name again?” Emmett asked, his voice more gentle than they’s ever heard it as he gingerly picked her up.
“Fiona.” Carlisle watched Emmett’s every move.
“Fiona,” Emmett repeated quietly.
He didn’t want her to wake up, so he walked slowly through the house. Setting her down on the space Carlisle made on the desk. The blood didn’t bother Emmett for even a moment. He never even hesitated. He just brushed the hair off her face, and waited while Carlisle worked.
“You seem to have taken to this girl.”
“I just think she’s pretty,” Emmett said. “It’s not her fault about her sister. If one of us went missing, would you not stop at nothing to get us back?”
“You’re right about that.” Carlisle looked pained. “May I ask you something, Emmett?”
“Yeah, of course.” Emmett didn’t look up from the girl’s face, and instead dragged his fingers softly around the edge of her face. Maybe she would be his Bella.
Was it creepy to be thinking this before she had a chance to wake up and meet him? He can’t just claim her, only hope that she was as fascinated by him.
Edward came through the door before Carlisle could ask about what Emmett was thinking. Edward was clearly mad. Esme slipped in, giving Carlisle the things he asked for, but opted to slip out and remove herself from the blood. Emmett understood, Fiona smelled as tempting as a fresh apple pie.
“Why is she untied?” he asked, grabbed the abandoned tie off the ground. It was all he’d had to tie her up with at the time.
“Do you think she needs to be?” Carlisle asks.
“Yes, I do.” Edward crossed his arms. Emmett was getting irritated by the vibe in the room. It was bad vibes in here.
“No, Edward.” Carlisle kept working. “We don’t hold hostages.”
“You’re right, we should just kill her now,” he said, cooly. As if it wasn’t a person they were talking about. Carlisle paused, but continued.
Emmett stood up tall, puffing his chest out and blocking Edward’s view of Fiona.
“You’re not touching her,” he said.
“Are you going to stop me, Emmett?” Edward asked. “You don’t even know her.”
“I know that I’m not a danger to her,” he said. “And you are. So get out while Carlisle works.”
“You’ve lost your…” Edward trailed off, and dropped to his knees clutching his head. Emmett stooped down on one knee, immediately changing from being worried about this girl to worried about his brother. “It’s her.”
Fiona was stirring awake, Carlisle finishing and clearing himself just in time for her to start squirming.
“Oh my god, her thoughts - there’s so many…” Edward tried to clear a path, try to sort between her thoughts and the thoughts of others’ that lived in her mind. “They’re not hers.”
“STOP!” she shouted, sitting perfectly up. “My sister doesn’t know the truth, she’s no danger to the secret.”
“Fiona?” Carlisle asked. Everyone was totally stunned. The girl looked lifeless behind her eyes, like this wasn’t her but a cheap replication of her. Other than sitting up, her limbs were still and lifeless, no sign of pain or distress.
“Bree.”
“Bree?” Esme said, slipping in the door. “Bree is it really you?” Esme fluttered over, putting her hands on the girls’ face. She was close to tears. “I’m so sorry.” Esme had been feeling guilty over Bree everyday since it had happened.
“Esme,” Carlisle said softly. He didn’t want to silence his wife, but he didn’t know how much time they had to talk to her.
“She doesn’t know what really happened. You still have time to lie. Don’t kill her.”
“Don’t worry little buddy,” Emmett said. “No one is going to hurt Fiona.”
“Remains to be seen,” Edward muttered.
“No, it doesn’t.”
“Sounds like family meeting time,” Esme said. “I’ll go find the others.” She slipped outside the office.
“I don’t understand,” Fiona said, her eyes focused. Her voice settled. It was her now. There was life in her eyes, but also fear, and she touched the cast on her arm. Even her voice was beautiful. Is this how the dogs feel? Emmett had never felt stronger than right now. Emmett didn’t move towards her for fear of startling her, she was so small.
“She can’t stay up here alone,” Edward said.
“I trust Carlisle to speak for me,” Emmett said, looking at Fiona. She was frightened, but brave. Trying to establish her surroundings. “I’m not going to let you hurt her no matter what you say anyway.”
“You’re risking everything,” Edward said. “For someone you don’t even know.”
“Sound familiar?” Emmett asked, scoffing. “I always had your back, even when I didn’t get it.”
Edward flashed a look of guilt but shook it off. Emmett knew they couldn’t keep taking risks like this, but she wasn’t a risk, she was a person. As fast as he’s ever run, Emmett grabbed her things from the car, and dropped them right at her feet. She was shaking, clearly terrified.
“How did you do that?”
“Your phone is in there, I checked.” Emmett heard his family go silent. The conversation was a waste of time anyway, it was just Carlisle trying to convince Edward that there were more options than murder. “I won’t stop you from calling 911. We are the Cullens, you’re in Forks. I’ll even give you the number for Chief-”
“Emmett!” Rosalie yelled. But Emmett got to the door first. Holding it shut from Rosalie’s destructive fists. It cracked and splintered under her heavy hits. “If we have to start over you are so dead.”
FIONA TANNER FORKS, DAY 1
Fiona was crying now. Confused by all the thoughts in her head. She could hear the whole family. Pieces of the conversation downstairs. She could hear the listener getting mad. He didn’t like his own thoughts being repeated back to him but she couldn’t help that. There was also the typical voices that she usually had buried, but coming out of whatever happened to her allowed them to flood in. People screaming in pain, or begging for help, or just taunting her for the fun of it. What did the boy who listens make of her?
“I’m not calling the police,” she whispered. “I just want to know what happened to Bree.”
Rosalie stopped busting the door at Carlisle’s request. But each of her exaggerated stomps could be heard as she left the house. She turned on music in the garage and started fussing with her cars. Emmett just looked at her, welcoming her to make the first move.
“You’re Emmett?”
“Yes.” For his huge stature, he seemed so kind and timid to her. She could hear him thinking about her. And it was so, so flattering.
“Are you dead?”
“Yes.”
“Then how are you alive?”
“I don’t know if I should answer that right now,” he said. “Let’s skip for now.”
“Was Bree dead?”
“I thought you already knew she was dead.” Emmett looked down. “I’m really sorry about that.”
“I meant… uhm… when you met her, for the first time, was she already dead?”
“Yes.”
“Explains why I can hear you twice.” She needed a minute to process all of this. How was she supposed to process all of this?
“Can you hear me think?” He asked.
“Yes.”
“Oh,” he said, lowering his head. “That’s kind of embarrassing.”
Fiona smiled, and chuckled. Which made Emmett smile and chuckle. It was quiet in the room for a minute. Fiona tried to sort out her thoughts and Emmett watched her.
“I really don’t want to cause any trouble for your family,” she said. “Can you just tell me what happened to my sister?”
“No one here hurt her,” Emmett said. “We were trying to save her but there are some people who just… get their way.”
“Why did they want to hurt her?”
“Can I skip?” he asked.
She nodded lightly. His vague answers were disappointing but he seemed genuine, and it was probably a “the less you know the better” kind of deal around here. Maybe she should’ve listened to Bree.
You think? Bree thought. She sounded weak after taking control of of Fiona.
“Am I going to die, Emmett?” she asked, her voice wavering.
“No, I’ve got you now. You’ll be safe with me.”
“You promise?”
“I promise.”

Hi! Can I please request a Demetri x mate!human!fem!reader where she’s Bella’s younger sister, and when the Volturi come for Renesmee, the Cullens tell her to stay with Charlie, since they had a bunch of vampires with them plus the Volturi showing up, it’d be bad with a human in the mix. Being related to Bella (haha) she doesn’t listen, choosing to hide behind a tree to try to see how Bella and her family are (she was worried what the Volturi would do). I’m sure everyone would realize there’s a human there, and Aro sends Demetri to check it out, who finds Y/n, and quickly realizes she’s his mate. Ooo that would be nerve racking to Bella because she’d see Dem speed her younger sister over to where all the Volturi are. I’m sure she’d have to go back to Volterra with them, and she’d be a little freaked out. Awhhh it’d be so cute to see them bond, and on New Year’s, she wants to watch the ball drop (because it’s a tradition), and when it’s the New Year, she kisses Dem for the first time!

Summary: Against her sister’s advice, Y/N Swan sets off on a one woman mission to protect her family, unaware of the price she will have to pay to do so.
One of the worst habits you had was wondering the house late at night when you shouldn’t be. It wasn’t your fault really, insomnia didn’t have an easy cure and your sleeping medication was…well, when you woke up in the morning you felt drunk, they weren’t really something you enjoyed using. It had been an innocent quest really, a simple mission – get a warm mug of milk to go back to bed with. If anything, you were perfectly in the right to go wandering your own home. It should have been safe, even at 3:24AM.
Riley Biers shouldn’t have been there.
But he was.
In your living room.
And so were you.
Until you weren’t.
Alice had seen it all in advance of course and whisked you out of that room so fast the venom hadn’t even had time to properly enter your system after Riley bit down. Charlie hadn’t even been woken from his slumber by the time you were whisked into the depths of the forest to a nice little clearing where you could scream to your hearts content and nobody would hear you. Carlisle had saved you that night, sucking the venom out as quickly as Riley had injected it. The night that had followed was a surreal, whistle stop tour of the vampire world and its laws, laws you were technically breaking since you knew about the Cullen’s now. Of course, that meant you knew about the newborn army to, but you decided to stay out of that one. Some things however…some things demanded your attention, and whether you were human or not you simply had to at least see your family would be okay.
After a whirlwind few months your sister was saved, married and knocked up. Come Christmas, your hybrid niece was looking to be nine years old and your father was suspicious but none the wiser to the world you knew all too much about. You had carefully hidden your bitemark with polo necks, a sudden and bizarre choice your father had commented on once but quickly dismissed after you spouted some fashion facts Alice had prepared you with – fashion and Charlie did not mix and he dropped that conversation faster than one might drop a saucepan on fire. Of course, Renesmee (who you had created a variety of nicknames for just to tease Bella because otherwise you…well you’d have to call her Renesmee, and that was just cruel) was unique in every way, and unique and unknown equated to threat and danger in many minds, many minds the Cullen’s had slowly swayed over the few weeks since Alice had informed them of their impending death sentence.
You hadn’t been allowed to visit since the nomads and covens had started arriving, and though you understood the reason it didn’t make it any easier to know your sister, your niece, your extended family, were all in danger and you weren’t getting to spend what might be their last moments with them. It was only made worse when Bella and Edward had brought your father tickets to go fishing out of state, and tried to do the same to you. You loved your TV shows, truly you did, so for them to somehow get you backstage passes for Supernatural of all things was…immense. What you hated the most was how tempted you were to go. Who would say no to a long stay in a five star hotel, all expenses paid for and any bills you accumulated paid for by a Cullen, bottomless credit card?
When Edward and Bella had dropped you at the airport, part of you really had been ready to say goodbye to them, but as you stood in line for the gate the heavy weight of guilt settled in your gut and wouldn’t stop squirming. You had to turn back, you had to go. Nobody knew when the Volturi were going to land exactly, but you knew the day, and with Charlie and Sue gone for their fishing trip you would have nobody to stop you doing the incredibly dumb thing you had set your heart on. The taxi fare home had been extortionate but you couldn’t exactly have called anyone for a lift could you? You called the hotel and told them you were cancelling your stay, having to push your backstage pass for the Supernatural set deep into the depths of your bag to manage the grief of missing that opportunity, but family came first.
A restless night’s sleep later and you were dressing for the snow. It had fell fast and thick since Christmas day, so you had to set out early if you were going to get anywhere fast. Bella was your sister and you loved one another dearly, so of course you had spoken all about the upcoming battle, her hopes and her fears, her plans.
“There’s a clearing to the North of the house, we’re hoping if we engage them there it’ll be far enough away from people to stop anyone else getting involved by accident.”
Clearing to the North of the Cullen residence, right. With your Grandfather’s old compass you had set out, bundled in your thickest woollen coat and decked out the whole nine yards with scarves and hats and gloves. The air was freezing, nipping harshly at your exposed skin till your ears and nose were tinged red. Sniffling, you trudged through the layers of snow, stumbling over your own feet once or twice in the hereditary Swan way before regaining your footing and ploughing on. The trees seemed never-ending, an identical blanket of white on each and every one that towered above you, encroaching from all sides and making you lose all sense of direction. If it wasn’t for the compass in your hand you could have easily gotten lost in the winter wonderland, but a break in the treeline finally made an appearance. Numb as your extremities were, you forced your tired body to cooperate and propelled yourself forward, stumbling towards a tree you might be able to see past.
The forest was eerily silent, not a single scuttling animal or twittering bird to be found today, and the clearing itself was so large and the covens spread so far apart you could barely see a thing either, not with your dull, human eyes. A swarm of black gave away the Volturi, the mismatch of beiges and neutral tones on the left letting you know your family had yet to be taken down. A sigh of relief escaped you and you clapped a hand over your mouth in alarm, heart skipping a beat in your chest. Vampires had extremely sensitive hearing, there was no way somebody hadn’t heard you, and if it wasn’t the sigh that gave you away then it would surely have been the sound of mitten slapping flesh. Pressing into the bark you peeked around the tree trunk, heart hammering in your chest now as you tried to establish what was happening. You couldn’t hear a thing, could barely see. Ness sat atop Jacob, his russet fur glinting in the bright white of the snow-covered landscape.
“It all looks so terribly interesting from this distance does it not?” the smooth voice was right by your ear, and you screamed louder than you ever had in your life. Whirling around you shrunk back from the vibrantly red eyes of an admittedly handsome man, his expression devoid of any emotion as he looked you over. He had boxed you in against the tree trunk, his cloak billowing about him, the shiny, golden ‘V’ hanging around his throat making your chest constrict. Volturi, he was a Volturi guard. With wide eyes you stood in a silent stare-off, unable to decipher the emotions flickering through his eyes as he stood a step toward you.
“Stay away from me!” you cried, cringing back into the bark behind you. His head tilted.
“You came to spy and did not expect there would be consequences?” he asked, not stopping till he was almost on top of you. Your breath hitched. He had the most gorgeous looking face but you could identify the features of a killer in it. The glowing red irises didn’t look at you with malice however, more…confusion. His sharp, pearl white teeth weren’t bared to take your throat out but carefully sealed away behind plush lips. You could almost believe he didn’t intend on hurting you if his hands weren’t still reaching for you.
“You’re here to butcher my family, I had to…” you trailed off, because in reality what could you do? What could you possible say to this vampire that wouldn’t make him laugh? You were human, you stood no chance. He had paused, waiting patiently for your answer, yet when you gave him none he proceeded to pick you up like you weighed next to nothing, your feet being whisked out of the numbing snow to dangle over his arm. His eyes never left yours.
“Hold tight little one.” He suggested, his voice devoid of any emotion. If there had been any part of him you might have been able to appeal to before it was gone now, hidden behind a stony exterior. The world blurred around you and the jarring movement thew you off balance as he set you on your feet again, your body tilting in a way it shouldn’t till he was forced to grab you and hold you steady. Nausea rose quickly in the back of your throat, the world still spinning and blurring your eyes. You could see the edges of black cloaks swirling in your vision as you fought back the urge to be sick. There was no way to hide your anxiety now, your heart hammering away for all to hear, your breathing too quick to be normal.
“You seem to have distressed our dear friends, Demetri.” The smooth voice was sickeningly sweet, entirely false to your ears. Trying to take a steadying breath, you forced yourself to look up at the three imposing figures before you. A giant stood behind them, two young twins to their right. The three were quite obvious to you form the stories you’d heard, and your shudder had nothing to do with the cold this time. Demetri, the man holding you, had yet to let go of your waist, and his hands felt strangely soothing, their firm grip something that felt grounding and reliable despite your terror in this moment.
“An intruder who has already seen too much, end her now as yet another of the Cullen’s mistakes.” The blonde sneered. You swallowed, mind spinning. You were dead either way, right?
“My niece is not a mistake.” You retorted. You were proud that your voice didn’t waver once, though the grip on your waist tightened slightly and you weren’t sure if it was to warn you or scold you. Caius hissed, eyes narrowed in a vicious glare.
“Your niece? May I, my dear?” Aro stood before you, taller than you had expected with hair almost as long as yours. You knew it wasn’t a request, but you found yourself desperate either way to avoid touching him and shrank back from his extended hand, straight into Demetri’s chest. His hand was hesitant, but it lifted from your waist to lightly skim down your arm, his lips close to your hairline as he whispered, “Do as you are told now, little one.”
He carefully extended your hand for you, noting the tremor in it once more as Aro’s eyes flickered between you. He removed your mitten with a flourish, your hand immediately clenching and unclenching at the sudden blast of arctic cold it had previously been shrouded from. Aro’s skin was somehow even colder and your shivering grew in intensity. Very vaguely, you could hear Bella shouting something, but the distance was so great and the clearing so vast it swallowed the sound. His eyes flickered over yours, completely pinning you to the spot, and then they looked past you to whatever was happening behind you. Demetri was blocking your view when you tried to see what Aro was seeing.
“Sweet Y/N, your bravery in coming here is applaudable. I can only hope our own dear ones are as dedicated to our family as you are to yours.” Aro sighed, a hint of melancholy in his voice. You flinched, knowing the next words from his mouth would most likely be spelling out your death sentence. The sound of the breeze was all that filled your ears for a moment, the anxiety and anticipation growing in your stomach making it difficult to hold onto the meagre breakfast you’d forced yourself to eat. It occurred to you in that moment that this would be your final moments with your family, your last chance to say goodbye, and they could hear it. Squaring your shoulders, you held your head high.
“I came because I love them, and I don’t regret that. You can’t destroy my family, their witnesses are proof of that. My niece was created out of love and the legacy of love they would leave behind will be far too great for you to overcome. So go ahead and do what you have to to me, if I can die with half their grace then I know I’ve done them proud.” You clenched your fists at your side, prepared for the bite that Aro would deliver, maybe Demetri. Caius looked most upset by your little speech, hissing quietly and looking prepared to spring towards you. More muffled noise from behind you let you know your family had heard, even if you couldn’t hear their goodbyes you felt them in your heart.
Aro’s head tilted slightly, his expression cold, and then his mouth opened slightly and he was leaning forward. You closed your eyes, flinching as you braced for the pain of a bite you knew well, but instead you felt cold air, and when your eyes snapped open you were shielded from Aro’s bite by a tall, lean body, one strong arm curled backward to keep you caged against his spine. Demetri.
“Master…please.” He extended his hand, ripping off his glove with his teeth as he went. Aro eagerly took his hand, probably as desperate as you were to know why one of his most treasured guard would so openly defy him. Some of the Volturi’s people were starting to whisper behind them but a lethal look (from the giant of a man you guessed was Felix from Bella’s stories) silenced them. His grip on your hip tightened for a moment, the silence deafening before Aro chuckled.
“Ahhh…così si forma un legame eterno.” he murmured. You scrunched your nose, having no idea what he meant since you didn’t speak Italian. When Demetri carefully moved aside, giving Aro as slim a chance to access you as he possibly could, and your heart twisted with gratitude that he would even bother to try. You swallowed, doing your best to keep your fear from your face.
“Aro.” Caius growled. Aro held his hand up, forcing his brother to heel even if he couldn’t placate him.
“You are intriguing, Y/N. The Volturi do not offer second chances, but for the sake of our dear Demetri we are willing to bend the rules just this once,” Aro smiled, a shark-like grin that made your stomach sink, “You have a choice before you. Your family are quite innocent in regards to the accusation against your niece, for that we will deliver no justice-“ there was some uncomfortable shuffling behind him Aro dutifully ignored, “-however you are a law broken, yet another example of the Cullen’s inability to guard our secret from humans. An example must be made, you must be dealt with appropriately. Either you turn here, now, or you come with us, and we turn you.”
It was a Hobson’s choice. What Aro was really asking was how dead did you want to be? Dead dead? Or undead dead? If you let Carlisle bite you now in the clearing there were so many unpredictable nomads around. Bite your wrist and it would take forever for the venom to reach your heart and really start the change, you would be tortured right in front of them, a punishment for them all no doubt. Bite your throat and blood would spill, blood so many of those nomads wouldn’t think twice about feeding from in any other situation. So, what did you do? Did you choose the option where you ended up far from home but safe? Or did you choose the option that did not guarantee your safety but did guarantee your family would suffer watching you suffer?
For the first time since you entered the snow you felt warm, warm with so many eyes on you. Swallowing thickly, you tried to will your mind to work faster to outwit the vampire before you. In the end, you could only think of a compromise.
“My father’s not home right now. If I chose to come with you, could I have time to pack some clothes?” your voice was slightly weak, your heart aching in your chest. Your father would never see you again, he’d have to believe you just ran off, that you were the same flighty woman your mother was. Bella might never get a chance to see you again either, an eternity of knowing you would never lose your sister, but that you would never be reunited. It was painful however you spun it. Aro’s smile only widened, knowing he had successfully backed you into a corner.
“But of course! Such a…noble, sacrifice, must be rewarded. You have earned that much my dear. Demetri will take you now.” Aro gave his tracker a nod and Demetri seemed to relax, swiftly turning on his heel to march you across the snow. His hand was gentle on your arm, but the speed he set almost had you running to keep up, like he was desperate to get you out of there lest Aro change his mind. As you were escorted out of the clearing, you dared a single glance back at Bella, her face the very picture of horror as Edward held her back. All you could manage was a weak smile as your sister disappeared from view for what was possible the last time.
Once you were far enough into the trees that the clearing was out of sight for you, Demetri suddenly came to a stop, exhaling sharply and dropping his hand from your arm. It ran through his hair but barely ruffled it. Whatever he was thinking, you weren’t about to be privy to it as he slung you across his back with ease. You gasped, clinging on tight.
“Hey! What are you doing!” you protested.
“Taking you to your home. You are slower than I am.” He retorted, his voice quiet and his grip on your thighs firm. You held on tight, heart rabbiting in your chest.
“You don’t even know where I live.” You squeaked. Demetri chuckled, the sound vibrating through your gut.
“No, but I know where the Cullen’s live, and I find it hard to believe that in all this snow you walked all the way here. Now hold on tight and try closing your eyes, it may help with the nausea, cara mia.” He gave you seconds at most to bury your face in his shoulder before he took off, maybe…or not? You weren’t really sure but you didn’t dare lift your head to look. He made sure his gait was smooth, every stride flawless so he didn’t so much as jostle you, and by the time he gently encouraged you to unwind your legs from his waist you were in front of the Cullen’s house. The only reminder you had ever ran anywhere with him at all was the windswept state of your hair – it was unfair his still looked perfect.
He had been right of course, you had driven to the Cullen’s today. It was hard to imagine him sitting beside you in your small car, his cloak about him and his outfit all…well, what even was he wearing? Why did that even matter when this Volturi guard was escorting you to pack things that would be your only reminder of home? Demetri was quiet, watching you carefully as you stared at your car. Nothing made sense. Why had Demetri saved you when he was the one who hauled you out in front of Aro? Why had it felt like he was protecting you? Why was everything so…comfortable? Being around him was like being in the company of an old friend, it was familiar and warm, inviting, the silences felt natural.
Demetri quietly called your name, his expression questioning, but you didn’t bother to give him an explanation, simply pulled out your car keys and got into the driver’s seat. The radio chased away the silence, your fingers clenched tight around the wheel as you tried to figure out what to pack.
“Where are we going?” you asked him finally. Demetri kept his eyes on the horizon.
“To our home, to Volterra. You will be joining us in Italy.” He answered. Italy? You didn’t know the first thing about Italian culture. What was the food like? The people? The language? You’d need to pack warmer clothes, and they didn’t accommodate turtle-necks – not that you needed to hide a bite from vampires. It wasn’t really until you pulled up in the driveway of your home that it really struck you, the weight of the deal you made hanging heavy on your shoulders as you idled in front of your childhood home. In your mind you could see yourself running up the drive, your suitcase abandoned for your father to pick up as he welcomed you to stay for the summer. Other winters where you had opted to spend Christmas with Charlie over Renée flashed through your mind next, dilapidated snowmen and strung up lights over the porch flashing bright. Tears stung your eyes.
“I’m never coming back here, am I?” you whispered. Demetri remained silent, and you were grateful for it. There was nothing he could say to make this better and you suspected he knew that. Furiously wiping at your eyes, you rummaged for your house keys and cleared your throat. “You should wait until I open the front door, it’ll look suspicious if you follow me in and any of the neighbours see.” You muttered, already climbing out of the car before he could argue. It was a slow walk up the drive, a walk where you desperately tried to imprint the bumps in the concrete, the muddy smells of the forest surrounding you, and the awful netting in the windows’ you father hadn’t changed since your mother moved on, into your memory.
The smell of stale beer from the cans in the recycling box beneath the sink hit your nose as the door opened, the familiar smells of Charlie’s aftershave and Sue’s perfume coming next. The house was cold, quiet, desolate even. Demetri was in front of you in the blink of an eye as you shut the door behind you, nobody would have seen him enter for sure. He glanced around himself, obviously curious at the choice in décor and the photographs along the walls – you couldn’t bear to look at them. With a soft sigh, you left him in the living room, knowing he would do what he liked anyway regardless as to whether or not you invited him upstairs.
The suitcase you had packed for your trip would need to be unpacked, some of your jumpers and long-sleeved shirts would not be needed in Italy after all. It would be hot, and heat was not a friend to wool. Your wardrobe doors flung open, you were contemplating what to put back when Demetri interrupted you.
“Vampires do not feel temperature the same way humans do. When you turn it will be no issue to wear jumpers, if they are what you prefer.” He said. Brows crinkling, you subconsciously lifted a hand to your throat.
“It’s not really a fashion choice,” you murmured, “But I guess I don’t need to really hide a bitemark from a bunch of vampires, do I?” Just like that the air changed; you no longer felt comfortable with Demetri, not when he was giving off such a sour energy. He radiated danger, anger. He took a breath to visibly compose himself, but his eyes were still darkened by anger, near black with the rage he radiated. The leather of his gloves squeaked as he clenched and unclenched his fists. You took a step back from him, biting down on your lower lip as your heart skittered.
“Show me,” he said, eyes blazing. You shook your head. “Show me.” He growled, stepping forward this time. Gulping, you reached up with a shaky hand to pull the turtle-neck down as far as you could, thankful the material stretched slightly. Demetri peered past the fabric to the silver crescent shapes of Riley’s teeth, emblazoned on your skin until Volturi venom decided to buff out that imperfection. He hissed quietly, his fingertips tracing the mark and sending shivers down your spine. He was freezing cold, cold as a corpse actually since that was technically what he was, so why did his fingers leave a blazing trail of fire across your skin?
“It’s just small, it’ll go away anyway if-“
“It will not, go away.” Demetri ground out, his eyes fixated on the scar. He looked genuinely disgusted and you couldn’t tell if it was at you or the bitemark, you couldn’t tell quite why it bothered you so much either. Why did you care so much that this upset Demetri?
“It won’t?” you asked weakly. He winced a bit, letting his hands drop and looking away. You counted ten whole seconds before he dared turn back to you.
“No, it will not. Venom is what will immortalise you, petrify your system, it has had a chance to do so to those cells it has touched already and they will be forever changed by it. My only hope is to bite down there, that by breaking the surface with my teeth it heals over with my venom.” He almost growled the word at you in his frustration and you swallowed, blinking in surprise.
“You’re going to be the one that turns me?” you questioned. Could he even do that? Did he have the self-control? You had thought Aro would do it if you were honest, though you couldn’t say you were over the moon to have that old coot’s teeth in your throat it was guaranteed to at least be safe. What right did Demetri have to steal your life? Why was he so angry over the thought of another vampire biting you? Had he claimed some weird sort of vampire dibs?
“Of course. The Volturi have laws they enforce but when it comes to affairs between mates, they leave well enough alone.” He informed you, head tilting. Your breath caught in your throat.
“Mates?” you whispered, mind reeling.
“You do not feel the pull?” he asked. He had yet to step back from you, unbearably close and yet somehow not close enough. For a moment you couldn’t say anything, simply trying to desperately scramble to think coherently enough to consider answering.
“I don’t…I barely know you, you can’t just…say that.” You stammered. Demetri very gently grasped your chin between his fingers, tilting your face upward so you were forced to maintain eye contact with him. You weren’t sure what he was searching for, if he found it or not, but he dropped your chin with a sigh.
“Pack, tesoro, we have little time.” He murmured. You were relieved when he stepped back – it gave you a chance to breathe.  Mate? Demetri thought you were his mate? You knew what that meant, Edward had explained to you what his connection with Bella was like after Riley had introduced you to his world, trying to help you understand how awful the months leading up to Bella’s running away to Italy had been for both of them. Is that why he had been so protective of you on the field? Is that why he was so furious another vampire had dared mark you? It crossed your mind then just how selfish your decision actually looked to the outside world. In your head, you had been saving your family from suffering, but to them it probably looked like you had chosen to run off with your mate because you didn’t trust they would take care of you. How were they ever going to forgive you for this?

Tumblr media
Masterlist   Part 2 here
Pairing: Riley Biers x female!reader (Victoria’s sister)
I don’t own any of the characters/plots from Twilight, that all belongs to Stephenie Meyer & Summit Entertainment
Warnings: angst, profanity, mentions of death.
Prompt: The day Edward first saw Victoria on the baseball field, he saw a glimpse into her past. There, he saw a woman with fiery red hair similar to hers and memories indicating how close the woman is to Victoria. With the threat of her newborn army on the rise heading straight for him and Bella, Edward takes the risk of seeking out the woman in the flashbacks he remembered the year prior in hope she could be the one to stop Victoria on her path for vengeance. Little did they know, things were going to become more complicated when the two face off for the first time in almost a century, and the discovery that Victoria’s prized second in command Riley, is the one the woman has been waiting for all her life.
Word count: 1222
“How did you find me?”
“You weren’t hard to locate?”
“You said your name is Edward, yes? Well Edward, I find that hard to believe. I’ve hiding from my sister and her sadistic tracker of a mate for almost a century and have been very good at staying hidden. So how is it you, a mere mind reader after seeing me in her thoughts one time, managed to track me down within a few days after remembering said memory? You had to have had help, and I want to know how you did, why you did it, and what does my sister have to do with it.”
“To answer your first question, my sister can see things as one would say. See the decision of those before it is made. I asked her to see where you would go next, and she was able to see you here in Miami. For the second question, the simplest answer is I need your help, and I need it now. You sister is after me and my human mate, Bella, wanting to kill her as revenge for me killing James--.”
“You killed James,” a scoff followed by a chuckle, “How the hell did you manage to beat him at his own game?”
“It’s a long story...”
“An unpleasant one I assume. Let me take a guess, having been around him and fallen victim to his game before, James was tracking your mate and instead of just turning her so he wouldn’t desire her blood anymore, you kept her human and it led to a wild chase of cat and mouse with a fight between the two of you. I don’t believe for a second you were the only one involved in killing him, James was one tough son of bitch, you had to have help.” He only nodded to confirm. “Wow, I have to say I’m impressed. Good riddance to him though.”
“Your sister is creating an army of newborns not far from where my family and mate resides,” his voice had an edge to it, indicating how serious the situation was, “We don’t have much time before they head for us.”
“And what is it you need me for, Edward?” her brows narrowed at the vampire before her suspiciously, but she already knew the answer, “You have a family with strong members, you have siblings with gifts and you also tell me a wolf pack has also come to your aid. Why did you travel all this way to find me, when you know of the history her and I have. My sister is no longer my sister, she made that choice when she decided to go with James and leave me alone. To play along with his sick games which has had me on the run for decades. I have been hiding from her for a reason, and you expect me to just drop everything and help you? I don’t even know you.”
“I know you’ve been running from her for years, but James is gone and can’t influence her anymore,” his voice was soft, “I saw in her mind the memories of you when she laid eyes on my family, she missed you although she would never admit it because she knew James would try to find you again. If you can try to convince her that avenging him is not the answer, then maybe she will put aside her anger and stop herself from getting killed.” Edward took a step forward, but not too close so he didn’t invade her personal space, “I understand your resentment for her, but Y/N she is your sister. Deep down I know you still care for her. While you stand there and say all this, your mind says other things. You want to see her.”
“You don’t know what I want!!” The scream shook the room, the glass cups shattering around her causing Edward to step back. “Stay out of my head, Cullen,” she hissed, “Or I’ll rip your arms apart with a simple thought.”
“I’m sorry,” he apologized, “I didn’t mean to offend you.” When it appeared she had calmed down he stepped forward again, but her face remained hard so he mentally noted not to anger her again. “Please, Y/N. I wouldn’t be asking you for this if I didn’t believe you wouldn’t be able to get through to her. I wouldn’t have came all this way if my sister said there was no chance you would agree.” This made her face soften a bit, thought she kept her eyes narrowed on him but Edward felt a sting of hope.
“So you’re telling me your sister, the one who can see the outcome of decisions, has already seen me agreeing to help you? How is that a fair chance of choice if the answer has already been decided.”
“Alice didn’t see you agree, she only saw this conversation happening and there was a strong chance you would. There is still a chance you will say no, but I’m here to convince you to say yes and help us against your sister. Stop her from consuming herself with revenge so she isn’t killed.”
The woman stood silent, moving to overlook the balcony where the Miami nightlife was in full swing. Edward waited patiently, listening to her thoughts and feeling more hopeful while she contemplated. The thoughts leaning toward his favor.
“I’ve been on the run from Victoria for almost a century, Edward,” the tone Y/N spoke with was solemn, as though she were in mourn, “I tried to get her away from James when I saw him for what he was. I had the feeling he would only bring her to her downfall and told her she was blind for her love for him. That he didn’t care for her in the way she did for him. But she was naive, and stupid.” She spat, eyes closing as the painful memory played in her head, “She betrayed me, Edward. She stood by his side, even following him when he decided to track me and kill me after she told him what I said. Her own sister. She played his game with him knowing the outcome would be me dead if he got to me, and she did nothing.”
She spun around to him, face full of pain an sadness, “She didn’t listen to me the first time, what makes you think she will listen to me this time around?” There was a pause, her moving toward the mind reader until she was directly in front of him, “What do I have to gain by facing her after all these years?”
“Like I said, James isn’t here anymore. He can’t control her or her decisions. The urge for revenge is consuming her, making her irrational and think she’s doing herself a favor by creating this army to kill Bella and I. If you can convince her otherwise then there is a chance for you two to make amends, have your sister back.”
“And if I can’t?” There was silence from the man while he listened intently to her mind. When a certain thought popped into her head, well aware he was listening, Edward had to bite back the smirk trying to make its way onto his face.
“Then you get your revenge.”

Heartbreak - Riley Biers
Summary: A fight with Riley leads to the end.
Requested: yes
Warnings: no happy ending
Pairing: plus size!fem!reader x Riley Biers
My Writing | Join my taglist
Tumblr media
All your life everyone had compared you to someone. Most of the time they compared you to slimmer girls because you were a bit chubbier. It affected your self-esteem until a couple of decades ago when you got turned. Once you became part of the Cullen’s clan, things took a turn for the better. They became your support system and made you see things in a different light. You learned to appreciate your curves and how they made you who you are.
You hadn’t been compared to someone in decades. You weren’t used to it anymore. And then those words slipped from Riley’s lips comparing you to Victoria, the woman he had loved until she died. The woman you helped Edward kill.
That day is etched into your mind, especially Riley’s face after Victoria abandoned him so she could go after Edward. It was in that moment he realised she was only using him to avenge her one true love, James.
As soon as you knew Edward had the upper hand again, you left them and followed Seth and Riley. Yes, he had made the army that came after all of you to get to Edward and Bella, but she had deceived him. He hadn’t known any better. He had truly loved her and believed she loved him too. He’d been protecting her. You made Seth halt his movements and said you would take it from there so he, Edward and Bella could join the others back at the clearing.
Riley had eyed you wearily as if you would still kill him, but something in his face had looked heartbroken. You’d felt his pain seep into your bones. You had lead him back towards where the tent was; thinking he couldn’t possibly look worse than before. But the moment he had seen her body burning, a look of grief had settled on his face and he collapsed. He had sat on his knees while you were standing next to him. You weren’t sure if it was okay, but you had softly settled your hand on his shoulder. He didn’t shrug your hand off, instead just sitting there quietly looking at the pile that had once represented the woman he loved, the one that betrayed him.
You had wanted him to be free of her and the only way that could be, was by telling him the truth. So you told him about James, about him being Victoria’s mate, about him attacking Bella and getting killed because of it, about Victoria’s oath to seek revenge, about what Laurent had told you —and how he had died because of Victoria and her motives. And you’d told him about Victoria’s ultimate plan to hurt Edward by killing Bella in front of him. He didn’t believe you at first, but you brought up evidence, like Bella’s scar, Harry Clearwater’s death because of Victoria, police reports about animal attacks. By the end of it all, you had seen the little cracks in the vision the redhead had made him believe.
What you hadn’t expected was that you would start dating him.
After that day, he’d sought out your company and come by your place a lot. You thought all he had needed was a friend, a companion to talk to, but it soon blossomed into something more. Into something worthwhile, or so you thought.
 -----
You got into a fight about moving someplace else, to get a fresh start for the both of you. He yelled that he didn’t want to go anywhere else, that this was his home and Victoria wouldn’t have made him leave. He didn’t stop there, he had to point out your insecurities too. He said the only reason he started dating you was because he was lonely, he had just lost the woman of his dreams and you were right there, willing to do anything. And then came the thing that cut deepest: “I couldn’t even be attracted to someone like you. Someone with so many curves, so heavy.”
You walked out right after he said it. You didn’t even care about your things that were still laying in your shared appartement. You hopped into your car and drove.
Riley was still angry with Victoria and what she did to him. She turned him just so he could be her puppet; how stupid he was to believe her. And now he had to face the reality that he couldn’t stay in places because people would get suspicious of him not getting older. He lashed out at you because he was in his own head thinking about the injustice of it all. He knew you meant well, but something took over and it wasn’t until it was too late that he realised what he had said.

Discovering who you are
Tumblr media
Pairing: Cullen family x newborn!reader
Warnings: None
Request for: @twilightlover2007
Request:
If I could make a request! I'd love to see the Cullens with a newborn that was changed and left on her own. She has the ability to become transparent and over time even invisible. She's still new in her ability and it mostly kicks in when someone tries to attack her. When her powers are active they would go right through her. Please and thank you! I'd love to see her as someone's mate too(whomever you feel most comfortable writing).
***
You had a whole life ahead of you, you were young, just starting out the next chapter in your life, which was something that you looked forward to as well as for everyone else in the world.
The last thing you can remember is driving home after a late night out with lifelong friends at the local bar, driving home in the night and with the street lights so dim, you can only make out a silhouette of a man standing in your way, you swerved to miss him and that resulted into a violent crashing into a tree off the side of the world. When your world went black, you thought that was the end, until you woke up with the knowledge of something was not as it should be.
Something was off and it was the very thing you wanted more than anything right now to know what was happening. If you lived in the state of Washington, anywhere you turn to look around, all that you would be surrounded by is the woods. You were a young citizen in the city of Forks and lived there all your life, so you knew the area like the back of your mind and you although you don’t know it yet, but that’s why they had chosen you to be part of their army of newborns. As you were trying to process your thoughts, a figure of a man was walking towards you, a stranger you didn’t know and didn’t want to know. The closer he got, the further you tried backing away from him and when he got close up enough for you, the first thing you notice is the ruby red eyes.
Unaware, that’s now the same eye color you have and you didn’t know what that meant. A sinister laugh escapes his lips as he drops down to your level; you still being buckled in your ruined car while remaining in the driver’s seat. When you spoke, you hear your own voice beginning to waver from fear as you start asking the questions.
“What did you do to me?”
Suddenly, you were hit with a strange sense of thirst. Not thirsty for water but for blood, for human blood by all means.
The raging thirst scared you even more, you felt more dazed and confused as you stare back at the man in front of you, a man you would later learn gone by the name of Riley Biers. It’s been over a year since his disappearance, and you remember seeing missing posters of him everywhere in town, that’s when it hit you that this is indeed, Riley Biers. At first, he doesn’t respond, but you go to ask again and his response is frightening. It frightens you enough to have picked yourself up and run away from this situation.
“I’m so…”
“Yeah… I know. We will find you someone to drink. Just try not to get killed.”
With that, he left you pretty much on your own and you took that as a sign that you needed to get out of there.
So you did and that’s when you meet the Cullen family, who took you in with loving arms, treating you as if you’re one of their own. They were the antidote to the rough patch you were in, they helped you to understand your new life and when it came time to test your abilities and new powers, it was an exciting moment for you, as you discovered a lot about yourself. So far, you have discovered of having the ability to become transparent and overtime, even invisible. There’s no other vampire known to have this ability, so it had become a rare gift and you had it, and you were going to use it for good use.
For the power of good.
Having to still be fairly new to your ability, the only time you really ever allow it to kick in and present it is when someone tries to attack you or your new family. When your powers are active, they will go right through you, but you are better trained with self control so that it prevents from anyone getting hurt when not intended. Ever since you had become part of the family, you wanted to still have a semi normal life and it was going well for you. It all started with some online courses you had previously looked forward to, and you got yourself a part time job. Most of the time, you part time shifts took place during the day, but you were scheduled to work during night hours at the local gas station.
When the family learned of your schedule, they were unsure because of how you’re still looking over your shoulder in fear of getting attacked again. You reassured them that you would be fine and promised to return in one piece, which seemed to give them some peace of mind before letting you go for the night shift. That would turn to be a huge mistake, you were the only employee working and as you were taking out the garbage, you had what you didn’t see coming. An intruder had come out of the shadows and started demanding for your wallet, locking you in place from behind and with a knife to your neck.
The fellow didn’t know who he was messing with, that he just made the biggest mistake of his life. Since you were stronger than he was, it was easy for you to get yourself freed and buckled on him until he was on the ground and under your control. It was a scary situation for you, but you handled it better than most would, you were very independent than before. After tying his hands together behind his back, you kicked the knife away from reach and drug him inside, calling the police to come fetch him. After the man was gone, your manager allowed you to go home once she learned what happened and after telling the Cullens the story, they almost didn’t believe you until they saw it on the news.
The only thing that was mentioned was of being cautious of using your ability/powers, even if the only power used is strength. Thanks to now having self control, you were allowed to be apart of the battle against the newborn army, the very same one you had run away from just nights ago. Not only did you win the battle, but you got your own personal vengeance once Riley Biers, your assailant was defeated. Riley had become your own personal battle while Edward and Bella battled and took on Victoria, defeating her in the end.
Once the battle was over, you could truly move on without any attempts of letting the evil that was drill into a happier future.
A beautiful future.

Could you please do a Riley biers and plus size human Cullen imagine where she’s his real mate please??
Hii, omg I love Riley he deserves better. Hope you like this and sorry if its short.
Mate.
Pairing: Riley Biers x plus size! human! cullen! fem! reader.
Summary: After knowing that Victoria's army of newborns was after Bella and the Cullens, your family decided to "hide" you with bella but instead of being hide, you end up meeting your mate.
Tumblr media
The cullens adopted you not long enough to be honest. All of them were vampires but you were the only exception. You were an orphan and you were really delicate of health.
Carlisle took care of you in the hospital, he thought he may have to turn you but luckily he didn't. You started to feel better and Carlisle end up adopting you anyways.
At the beginning it was a little bit because he didn't know how better you were but also because he grow up to love you as if you were one of his kids.
It's has been months since that happened. You were more than happy with your new family. Your brothers and sisters welcome you with open arms just like your parents.
Even Bella liked you, she was the girlfriend and "mate" of one of your brothers, Edward. She really was the sweetest and you really liked her too but you would lie if you said she didn't bring some troubles to your family.
But there wasn't something they couldn't handle. You admire them for that, they would do anything for anyone in the family and also for anyone related to someone in the family.
Even if you knew that your family was the best and most brave one, you couldn't help but be scared when they told you how Victoria was making an army that was coming for Bella and Edward but also the rest of the Cullens.
That obviously included you, and you weren't just the most new member but also the only human. It was obvious that if someone was vulnerable it was Bella and you.
You didn't argue when your family told you to "hide" with her. It was kinda awkward and you wished you could be with your family and fight along with them it was impossible, they wouldn't turn you just for this.
Once you were hidden, Edward told you to don't get out no matter what but once you started to hear the argument that was happening outside you couldn't help but take your head out of the tent to see a little.
Edward was talking to a boy, Riley, about how Victoria was tricking him into thinking he was her mate when in reality her mate was James. You peeked a little to see how the boy was but once you look at him, you two made eye contact.
You wanted to look away but it was like suddenly you just wanted to look and be with him. He looked at you in shock, as if something had just made sense just to later look at Edward and Victoria.
Edward looked at you and sighed a little bit understanding what was happening. When he looked at Riley again he was attacking Victoria. You panicked a little bit worrying about him getting hurt instead.
She didn't look like this was her first time fighting someone for sure. But somehow he ended up winning and decapitating her, Edward then set her on fire and Seth tried to push Riley into the fire too but you and Edward told him not to.
Seth and Bella were both confused, even you were a little confused on why you liked and cared so much for him being that you didn't even know him but it all make sense when Edward said that you were his mate.

Tumblr media
You were exhausted. You felt as if you could fall asleep right here as you leaned against the sink. Instead you rub your eyes and pull the plug from the drain letting the water level lower. You left the dishes to air dry before moving through the living room towards the stairs.
You paused by your father and looked at him sympathetically. You grabbed a blanket and put it over him before placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.
You picked up a few things off the floor and straightened up before making your way to your room. You massage the back of your neck trying not to think about all the work, both school and in the house, you have to do that you're pushing off to tomorrow.
You knew Bella would help you. You wouldn't give her a choice. You've been letting her bounce between Edward and Jake the last few days but now the chores were beginning to weigh down on you. She could spare one day to help you catch up.
You barely made it into your room when you felt as if you weren't alone. You turn around thinking one of the Cullen's had come to see you. Most likely Rose. She always preferred you over Bella.
Only it isn't Rose.
Your entire body freezes when your eyes meet ruby red ones. You don't notice your hands shaking or your heart racing. You just focus on the vampire in front of you praying he doesn't hurt you.
You couldn't move. You didn't want to set him off. You knew you wouldn't even be able to get to your phone and it's only in your back pocket. If you managed to even grab the mobile device you'd never be able to call a Cullen before he ripped your throat out.
You just hoped he'd be satisfied with you and not go after Charlie.
You didn't even a chance to scream when he grabbed you and jumped out the back window. You clung to him out of instinct and fear. If felt like seconds before he was stopping and you had no idea where you were.
"Who-Who are you?" You whisper when he lets you go. He doesn't respond. He just stand way to close and stares at you with an intensity that just worsens your anxiety.
He breathes in deeply and moves in so close his nose brushes against the skin of your cheek. You close your eyes and whimper quietly. His eyes snap back to your face at the sound and his hand reaches up to cup the bottom of your jaw.
You jerk back on reaction which causes his hand to wrap around the back of your neck to keep you still. You whimper again and force yourself to keep your eyes closed.
"Riley," He whispers, loosening his grip. You don't relax but your eyes slowly open. "I'm Riley," He says, moving his hand back to the side of your face.
"Y-Y/n," You introduce yourself. "What are you doing? Are you going to kill me?" The instant the question leaves your lips he growls. His other hand attaches to your hip and pulls you against him. You gasp but quickly shut your mouth.
"Nobody is going to kill you," He says. There's a long pause allowing his statement to process in your mind.
"Why did you take me?" You ask quietly. The question brings out the conflict in his face.
"I-I don't know," He answers, letting you out of his grip. He creates distance between the two of you and you don't know if if helps or just makes you more anxious. "When... When I saw you..." Riley paces and runs a hand through his hair. "I had to have you," His eyes return to yours. "I didn't want leave you behind,"
"Why were you in my house?" You ask and his face instantly hardens causing your body to retense.
"Bella," He spits. "I had to get her scent," He says.
"Why?" You ask, taking a step closer before you even realize what you're doing. Riley stares at you for a minute.
"I don't understand," He whispers, closing the distance once again. You tremble as his nose burrows into your hair. He breathes in deeply before wrapping his arms around you. "I though Victoria was..." His voice dissipates.
"Victoria?" You ask, lifting your head to look at him. "You're with her?"
A new found fear races through your body. Ever since the whole incident with James Victoria has been more than determined to kill your sister. There were times she had almost killed you as well. Had it not been for the wolves and the Cullens you'd be dead.
"She won't hurt you," He promises, resting his head against yours. "I won't let her near you,"
"Why?" You ask. A low growl rumbles from his chest.
"You're mine," He says seconds before pressing his lips against yours. You don't return the kiss at first. You just met the man and he literally kidnapped you from your bedroom.
But something felt different with him. You had been terrified of him up until this point. Until he promised he wouldn't hurt you and that he would keep you safe from Victoria. You believed him.
"Wait, wait," You whisper, pushing him. Thankfully he listens instead of forcing himself onto you. "You have to take me back home,"
"No," He growls, holding you in an iron grasp. Instinctively, you place your hands on the sides of his face and gently shush him.
"If you know about Bella and Victoria then you know about the Cullens," You say. He growls again and you're quick to calm him down. "The Cullen's don't just protect Bella, they protect me. They'll find us and take me from you if you don't take me back," You explain to him. "Besides, I'm not sure how long you've been a vampire for but this isn't exactly how you win a girl over," You say, lightly joking to break some of the tension.
"You're right," He whispers before smiling. It's the first time you've seen it and it doesn't fail to bring one onto your lips. "I'm sorry... I don't know what came over me. When I saw you I just had to have you," He says.
"Maybe next time you see a girl you like... Try taking her to Applebee's or something?" You suggest.
"Is that where you want to go?" He asks, tilting his head.
"Why don't we start with just going back home?" You say. "You won't be able to stay. The Cullen's will take you as a threat,"
"Not if I give Victoria to them," Riley says. "I know what she's planning and where she is. I'll give her to them,"
"What were you planning?" You ask curiously.
"A newborn army," Riley says. "An army to take on the Cullen's while Victoria kills Bella,"
"Oh... Wow," You mutter.
"That won't happen," He vows. "I'll tell them everything I know and I'll help them take the army apart for a date to Applebee's," He bargains.
"Deal," You promise kissing the corner of his mouth. He smiles and picks you back up. His grip is gentler. He cradles you into his chest making sure you're comfortable before taking you back to your home.
Almost instantly you're surrounded. Rose tries to take you from Riley but he doesn't let that happen. She's flung away which angers Emmett. Sensing the threat, Riley sets you on the ground and promptly shoves you behind him ready to take Emmett on.
Jasper sees the opportunity to grab you. You squeal when he pulls you back. Riley snarls as he turns around leaving himself vulnerable to Emmett.
"Stop!" You shout, fear coursing through you when Emmett's large arms go around his neck. "He knows where Victoria is!" This causes everyone to pause. "He's willing to give her up. Please! Listen to him!" You beg.
Riley doesn't say anything. He doesn't need to nor gets the chance. Edward sees everything in his mind and vouches for what you said.
When Jasper lets you go and Emmett releases Riley the two of you instantly return to each other. Riley glares at everyone around him while you avoid their gazes.
Riley stayed true to his word. He told the Cullen's and the wolf pack everything he knew. When the time came he helped take apart the army. It helped that they didn't suspect him as a traitor. With his aid killing Victoria was almost too easy.
It took over two weeks before everything was over. You and Riley were practically inseparable. You kept him relaxed and focused. You hated to admit but you finally understood Bella's feelings towards Edward.
When everything was said and done Riley took you out to Applebee's. He took you on multiple dates but had to be careful to not be seen by anybody who could recognize him. He couldn't face his family and you weren't going to force him.
Today marked one year. One year since Riley stole you from your bedroom and has rarely left your side since. He wanted to do something big. So, you both settled on a weekend away from Forks and all it's drama.
You told Charlie that it was a girls get away trip. Bella was gonna stay with the Cullen's to make it seem like she was with you.
You and Riley weren't going anywhere fancy but it was nice to get away from dreary Forks. Carlisle offered one of his properties in California.
The house was gorgeous. It's in the woods on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Completely secluded for you and Riley to have privacy. Riley wouldn't have to worry about people seeing him in the sun and you wouldn't have to worry about people in general. People sucked.
"You know if I begged Carlisle enough I could probably wear him down enough to let us have this property," You said, leaning against the open French doors over looking the ocean. You listened to the waves crash against the cliff and breathed in the salty air.
"Hmm, you are good at begging," Riley whispers, appearing behind you. You smirk settling into his arms when he pulls your back to his chest. "There's only one problem with that though,"
"What? You don't like this place?" You ask, turning your head to look at him. If he didn't love this place as much as you did it would break your heart.
"It's a wonderful place," Riley concedes. "It's just... Carlisle doesn't own it," He tells you. Your eyebrows frown and you rotate in his arms. "Welcome home, gorgeous," He whispers.
"Are you shitting me?" You whisper. He smirks. "How did you know I'd want this place?" You ask.
"Because I know you," He says, lowing his hands to cup your ass. "And since I plan on kidnapping you, again, I might as well have a nice place to keep you," He says, lifting you off the ground.
"And how long are you going to keep me this time?" You ask, wrapping your arms around his neck. He carries you to the bedroom.
"What makes you think I ever let you go the first time?" He asks, smirking.
"Touché," You whisper, resting your head on his.
The bedroom is as miraculous as the rest of the home. The bed is beyond comfortable. When Riley sets you down it feels like he's laid you on a cloud. The windows are open and the temperature is perfect. The crashes of the ocean fill the background but you're hardly paying attention to that.
No, you're watching Riley watch you. His hands are going down your sides and towards your pants. You're laying on the bed with your knees bent over the edge. Riley's standing in front of you in between the space between your legs.
He hunches slightly to unbutton and pull your jeans from your legs. His eyes are clued on your thick thighs as he kneels on the ground. Your breath quickens but you don't dare look away from him.
He forces your leg wider and pulls you closer to the edge. His nose brushes up the panties. Your breath shudders when your feel his hot breath against your pussy.
“You smell divine,” He growls, kissing the inside of your thighs.
“Bet I taste even better,” You say, with a small smirk.
“Is that a hint?” Riley asks, glancing at you. You wiggle your eyebrows at him. He moves up enough to grab the top of your underwear. You bite your bottom lip as he pulls the piece of clothing down your legs exposing your bottom half completely. “It’s been far too long since I’ve had a taste,” He growls practically giving into your cunt.
You release a fast breath when you feel his tongue devour you. He licks from one end all the way up to your clit. Your hips jerk when he flicks his tongue over your button. You whine as his attacks the sensitive nub. He suckles, licks and even nips at it before returning to long licks over your entire slit.
Your back arches when he slips a finger inside instantly curling it to massage that spot. His lips reconnect to your clit as his finger works on the inside. He soon adds another and then another.
“Riley,” You whimper when his fingers move in and out of you with inhuman speed. “Riley, please,” You beg. “Please, I’m so close,” You whine, trying to grind your hips against him. “Riley,” You whisper, your back arching off the bed. He doesn’t let up even when your moaning and twitching from your release. “Riley!” You cry out from the overstimulation. “Riley, please!” You beg.
Although, are you begging for him to stop or for him to keep going? At first you think it’s the former. At first you want mercy. But then he brings that feeling back. That feeling where you’re so close you’re desperate for a release. Like the wonderful boyfriend he is, he helps you get it.
Only then does he have mercy. You body twitches from the aftershocks. Riley caresses your curves and peppers kisses all over your body as you try to recover.
It wasn’t hard to tell what kind of mood Riley’s in. It’s one of those nights where he’s going to devour you, worship you, and own every orgasm you have. You knew it was going to be a long night and you were excited.
He helps you lay completely on the bed before tenderly undressing the rest of your body. He caresses every newly exposed skin and places a kiss upon it every so often.
You pout when he uses his speed to undress himself but he is quick to kiss it away. He knows that you enjoy watching him undress but he was too desperate to begin touching you again. He was too needy and selfish to give you a show but mentally promised to make it up to you.
“You’re so perfect,” He whispers more to himself than to you but you still blush at the praise. “I gotta be inside you baby... You are ready?” He asks, coating his cock in your dripping excess.
“Please,” You beg, grabbing at his hips. “Fill me up baby, please,”
He doesn’t make you wait. He thrusts inside of you, sheathing his cock in your pussy in one push. The fullness has you jaw dropping and your eyes rolling back. He groans and drops his head onto your shoulder.
“God, your pussy was made for me,” He moans. “You feel so good and you’re taking me so well... You always take me so easily... Such. A. Good. Girl,” He grunts thrusting in and out of you.
Your hand slips between the two of you and goes for the clit. You moan as you rub it trying to keep up a pace with Riley but he just goes even faster. Before you could beg him his lips claim yours. You don’t hesitate to return the kiss.
“Such a good girl...” He whispers kissing you cheek, nose, forehead, chin, everything. You pull him in for another kiss, basking in the love. “You close, baby girl?” You whine in response. “Come on, precious. Words,” He whispers in your ear.
“... Yes,” You whisper. “Please, Riley... Please, please, please,” You beg. Riley smirks nipping at your neck. His hand grabs one of your breasts and plays with your nipple until he pinches and pulls it roughly. The stimulation is just enough to push you over the edge. You cry out and begin to convulse on the bed. Your pulsing cut is enough to bring Riley over with you.
His cool body rests on top of yours. He kisses and caresses you while you calm down. He whispers gentle praises in your ear. Once your body begins to relax completely, he gently pulls out of you causing you to wince.
“Shh, it’s alright,” He whispers, kissing your cheek. “I’ll be right back, baby,” He promises. He’s gone and back before you can blink. Lazily, you open your eyes. He smiles and kisses your forehead before gently cleaning you.
“I love you,” You whisper. Riley smiles, laying beside you. You roll toward him and cuddle into his chest. He kisses the top of your head and holds you tight.
“I love you too, baby girl,” He whispers.
“Thank you for the house,” You whisper causing Riley to grin a bit wider.
“I’m glad you like it,” He says. “I think it’s perfect... I get to keep you here all to myself,” You smirk and kiss his chest. “All mine,” he whispers pulling you impossibly closer.

Hi y’all, so unfortunately after a lot of thought I decided to leave the group. A lot of changes are going on in my life and as much as I want to be here, I really need to focus on my life, friendships, long-term goals, etc. My impulsive nature of friends is acting up again, where I decided, ‘what if instead of replies, I get my ear pierced with my friend’ and just enjoying the summer for while it lasts. Unfortunately, I will never be able to rock out a tan but I can rock out a new piercing. Life has taken be my surprise so many times this year, for the worst, for the best – and after a lot of hard thinking, me leaving is definitely for the best. Unexpected Visitor
Riley Biers x Reader
Requested @volturi-coven
Hey can you do Riley Byers, totally up to you for the theme or whatever 😂
A/N: Thank you for your request! :)
_________________________________________
You and Charlie were home alone, Charlie was asleep on the couch. While you were in the shower. You dried your hair and put on your shirt. You weren't wearing pajama pants because you were going straight to your room anyways. You opened your door, and you flipped on your light. You looked up to see a man standing by the window, he had blond hair, icy skin, and glowing red eyes, you just stared. He was probably the most attractive man you've ever seen. You grabbed your pepper spray and held it towards him.
"Who the hell are you?" You asked looking at him with wide eyes. Pepper spray still in hand
"I'm, Riley." He simply said. Riley? That name suddenly clicked in your head. "Get away from me!" You yelled.
"I'm not gonna hurt you, in fact, I would want nothing more than to protect you." Riley said. His voice was soft, like wind chimes on a windy day. "And you can put that down, because it wouldn't do anything to me."
"How did you get the screen out of my window?" You asked looking at your open window. You put your pepper spray back down on your desk
"I can rip a tree out of the ground, a screen is nothing to me." Riley said grinning.
"If you aren't going to kill me, then why are you here?" You asked.
"Well, I was going to track your sister, with this." He said throwing a baggie of clothes at you. "But, seeing you, changes things." Riley said looking you up and down.
"Oh, yes, boy do I love getting compliments by a psychotic vampire." You said backing up in until you hit the wall.
Riley scoffed. "Another is here, I gotta go." Riley said walking over to the window.
"Be careful!" You said furrowing your brows. Where did that come from?
"I will be." He said jumping out the window. You ran over to the window, Riley looked back at you and blew you a kiss.
How were you going to tell Bella about this?
