I hate people who legitimately expected rick Riordan to write the tsats book for mature audiences and whine when it obviously wasn't and scream "well he's aware that he has a lot of adult fans so he should accommodate us" LIKE?? NO??? THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS???

YES, Rick Riordan IS aware you exist but you are no longer his target audience. You can appreciate the book as an adult for being great literature but if you're looking for a mature book THEN GO READ A FUCKING BIG BOY BOOK??

There's plenty of great YA fantasy out there.

Rick isn't going to stop writing books for middle schoolers just because you feel entitled to it?? That's not how it fucking works???

j saw the percy jackson announcement which is great and I'm excited as hell but let's take a moment to recognize that disney is still not meeting the demands of its writers and actors!! a huge company like disney where the ceo makes ~$20mil/yr should be able to pay writers and actors, without whom disney would not exist at the scale it does today, a livable wage.

edit: I wanted to add for clarification: currently neither wga nor sag aftra are asking us to boycott the shows. since this show was made before the strike, you can and should watch it legally bc as ppl in the notes have said it gets the actors and writers their much needed royalties.

A headcannon for when after the events of Hereos of Olympus but before Trials of Apollo.

When Gaia died Jason spent time at camp halfbloof but eventually visited Camp Jupiter he was met with old friends an ex who he had no clue about but they were bestfriends to. He met someone who he used to have a crush on. And a boy younger then him who had seen Jason as an older brother.

Jason had to break all of their hearts in so many different ways by telling them he didn't have his memories. He watched them crumble and walk away to grieve the loss of their friend but one stayed. A son of Ceres.

The son of Ceres guided Jason to their usual table that Jason couldn't remember. He sat Jason down and taught him all over again their favourite game to play, Mythomagic
