since riverdale only has one season left I'm gonna need season 7 to feature a vampironica plot, a hiram lives plot, an explicit and extremely graphic gay sex scene featuring archie, a bret resurrection plot, a jarchie kiss, a betty coming out scene, a dilton zombie scene, a cameo from the teenage mutant ninja turtles, a gay kevin death scene, a scene of tabitha going to hell to kick percival in his demon balls, a tabitha/jughead/archie threesome scene, a scene of betty axe murdering jared leto while discussing the merits of katy perry's prism, and a scene of reggie and veronica teaming up to seduce and kill men together.
People will hoot and holler at the end of shows like Riverdale but realistically the tv landscape is nothing without shows like Riverdale. You people want gay representation and yet you decry the show where every episode they reveal another character is gay just because they feel like it. The after effects of riverdale will be felt for years to come
when I release my 10hour long retrospective on why riverdale was good then you'll all see. you'll watch "the epic highs and lows of gay archie" youtube.com and you'll finally understand why I'm screaming and sobbing and growling and vomiting and gnashing my teeth and ripping my hair out over this. you'll be petitioning the cw to do a spinoff show in which archie moves to new york, comes out as gay, and falls in love with a very prolific serial killer. you'll alllllll get it. you'll be on my side here. just you wait. just you fucking wait.
The end of Riverdale being in sight means that in approximately 5-10 years people will be posting about it like "this was an underrated camp masterpiece"
Riverdale dying, the arrowverse dying... soon we won’t have any alternative weird bad shows to turn to when Big Marvel gets too unbearable and then where will we be
I hope everybody clapping and cheering at the demise of Riverdale Explodes. You people will never understand what's happened here today. They're letting Cole sprouse back into the wild and you people will pay the price
I'm not sad about the Riverdale news at all but I'm just disappointed that something I loved so much is ending (even when we all knew it was going to end) and it has caused such (justified) celebration.
It's understandable. We've not had that thing that brought us all together all those years ago and it's felt like such a slog since 04/17, but this fandom - especially in it's heyday - was such a fun place to be. 6 years together for some of us. It's lame to say that it was about the "friends we met along the way" but it honestly and truly has been. Even those of you who started as RDale friends and have moved on to other fandoms - it's been awesome getting to know you. A privilege.
Now I'm going to wait it out, knowing there's a light at the end of the tunnel, chanting "give them back to eachother, you cowards!" under my breath and dreaming of the Jug and Betts Detective Agency that we know they deserve. I'm happy we get to finish this journey together.
