Day 20: Roy x Riza

Another literal power couple. Riza trusted Roy so much that she showed him her father's research. The same is true with Roy that he asked Riza to shoot him if he deviates from his path. The anime and manga also hinted at their relationship when both would lose their cool when the other is in grave danger.

Is Royai incredibly codependent to an unhealthy level? Yes. It is nowhere near the healthiest relationship ever.

However, they've been through enough together that no one else could possibly understand and they are everything to one another... In their situation it makes sense and there isn't really a way to resolve that.

Couples therapy doesn't cover committing war crimes together and overthrowing the government.
