4 Town x Pregnant Reader

I can't remember who requested this, but thanks for the idea! Hope y'all like this💜

Warnings; Mentions of pregnancy (obviously) and discomfort/pain. Fem reader, not proofread.

Robaire;

As is the case with all the boys and their partners, Robaire would put you, and his unborn child, first. No questions asked. There's a big important meeting to sign new contract with the label? If you're not 100%, he will not be attending.

Ro is definitely the type to do that cute headphones-over-your-bump thing, playing music to your child. And he mostly chooses soothing French tunes like 'La Vie En Rose'. Although he did joke about recreating the 'Baby Got Back' scene from friends. If you hadn't refused, he for sure would've played it.

He's definitely cool, calm and collected. And it's not even an act. He has faith in you and your strength, and in whatever higher being that's up there. He sees your pregnancy as an obstacle-ridden journey, but he treasures the highs and the lows.

Jesse;

Definitely becomes an expert on pregnancy overnight. You're already at an advantage with him being a Dad of two already, and he has so much good advice. When it comes to pregnancy, though? He has quite a lot to learn. He'd already broken up with the mother of his two kids before they were born, so he's lacking in that area. But, fear not! There will be a mountain of pregnancy books on his side of the bed, and yes, he does read them all before you give birth.

Because of this, he's amazing at helping you through the hurdles. He has the magic remedy for morning sickness, cravings, and cramps. And if you find your anxiety spiralling, or mood up and down? He holds you close and gently coaxes you through the rough patches.

He's as responsible and caring as Robaire is calm, but secretly, Jesse is flapping on the inside. Please make sure that you check in with him too. He often worries about how the dynamic will change when you become a family of five, despite being so excited for it all. Remind him of that, and pregnancy with Jesse by your side will be a breeze.

Aaron T;

Oh Lord. I won't lie, he's pretty clueless in every respect. It took him a while to cotton on to what a period is, so the idea of a human baby growing inside your belly? Yeah, it freaks him out.

I feel like the pregnancy may not have been planned, too. So, he was a bit of a panicked mess when you broke the news to him. But, nevertheless, he's always wanted kids and couldn't imagine going into parenthood with anyone but you.

He definitely uses your pregnancy as an excuse for things. But in the best possible way! Like, if there's a press conference or something that he really couldn't care less about, he will be getting out of it because 'he has to be there for his baby mama'.

But he means well. You may have to talk things through with him, or be uber clear about what you need, but he'll take it all on board in a heartbeat. Because he cares so deeply for you, and treasures you and his unborn child above everything.

Aaron Z;

Right, so you know how Z is super overprotective over you and will literally bark down anyone who directs any negativity your way? Well, when you're pregnant, that increases tenfold.

He's definitely pretty anxious about it all, and that manifests into his usual perfectionism. Often, he'll have what you need ready before you even know you need it. You can thank his amazing observation skills, and general adoration for you, for that.

I feel like he'd be quite similar to Jesse, but just a little more stern about it. But not in a bad way! Like, if he notices you wincing when you reach down for something, he will insist on massaging your back right away. And no, he won't accept 'no' for an answer.

But he's also very sweet and sentimental. Sometimes you'll just catch him watching you, maybe while you're balancing a plate of food on your bump while you watch TV, and he'll just have so much love in his eyes. And it's all because you're carrying his child, and he can't wait for a lifetime of memories with you and his little one.

Tae Young;

He's for sure pretty anxious. Sometimes, it'll be you comforting him instead of the other way around. As is the case with T, I think your pregnancy would likely be unplanned, so he worries a lot about what his family and the label will say.

But once he realises what a gift your pregnancy is, he won't able to wipe the smile off of his face. He'll pepper your bump with kisses on a daily basis and spend his evenings off brainstorming names for you. I feel like he'd also start a scrapbook of your pregnancy so that you have it to look back on together.

Your pregnancy is a huge opportunity for growth and reflection for Tae. He knows that his parents probably won't approve, and being a father may not help his image as a boyband member, but he doesn't care. He's going to start a family with you and, in his eyes, that's one of the most precious of life's experiences. He vows to give your unborn child all the nurturing love that he needed when growing up. And he hopes that being parents will strengthen the love you share, too.

Encanto x 4★town

This is where I compare and contrast Robaire and Isabela Madrigal. Why I think they are like each other, what I think makes them different, etc. Idk if I'll do this again with other members but enjoy ✦

Robaire and Isabela Madrigal

I believe they are both forced to be perfect in some way. If you have seen Encanto, then you would know how Isabela was forced to be perfect and marry Mariano who also seemed perfect, but she didn't take interest in him. Isabela was forced to be perfect because Abuela wanted her to have the life that she didn't have. Since Abuela didn't get to have a full life with her husband, she wanted Isabela to have that luxury. Isabela felt that if she wasn't perfect, she would be treated like Mirabel; ignored and outcasted. Isabela ended up not marrying Mariano and was free from perfection in the end.

Robaire is seen to be perfect with his looks, singing, dancing, and being the leader of 4★TOWN. He's almost always the center of everything 4★TOWN does. I feel like Robaire wasn't always perfect, to be honest. Maybe after getting into 4★TOWN he was forced into having the perfect image since he was chosen as the leader and has the best singing voice. Robaire probably never argued with this concept because he felt like he'd be letting himself down for not doing his best and their fans down for not exceeding their expectations.

They both have differences, though. Robaire may have been perfect but he still had a lot more freedom than Isabela. Robaire was considered to be perfect, yes, but he still had the opportunity to not be perfect around his friends or (some) family. Isabela, on the other hand, had to be perfect around everyone since Abuela was apart of the family and the townspeople had gotten the idea that she was flawless. She really didn't have a choice until Mirabel helped her. Robaire has friends and family who doesn't care if he is perfect or not.

BECAUSE NOW, we have two notable animated movies about the hottest boy bands EVER!!! Sorry if I couldn't help it, but Branch and his brothers (BroZone) are like a Troll-fied version of 4*Town from Pixar's Turning Red (as shown in the above pic). So whatever it is, this was a clear comparison to take note of. 😊

From Strangers to Soulmates

Robaire Dumont went inside the bar to clear his head with shades and a hat on to keep anyone from noticing him. He sat down at the bar and waited on a bartender.

Robaire sighed deeply. “Damn it.”

A pretty girl walked over to Robaire and greeted him from behind the bar. “Hi, welcome in. What can I get for you?”

Robaire looked up with sad eyes. “I’m…not sure.”

The pretty girl looked at him concerningly and then analyzed him. “Hmm. How about I surprise you?”

Robaire couldn’t look at the girl and nodded, not really in the state of mind to think about anything. The girl grabbed a glass and made Robaire a Martini.

She sat the glass down in front of him with a smile. “Here. You look like a Martini kind of guy, though I can’t really see you with that hat and shades.”

Robaire grabbed the drink “Thanks..”

“Anytime,” The girl replied.

Robaire drank his drink and the girl looked at him with worry.

“You know, I can tell when someone’s sad without knowing them,” The girl mentioned. “What happened?”

Robaire sighed. “A girl.”

“Ah, so a heartbreak?” The girl looked Robaire up and down. “I’ve met a lot of guys and not a lot of good ones. Most guys I knew would have gotten dumped by a girl and moved on to the next one like it was nothing.”

Robaire slowly looked up at the girl with wide eyes.

“The fact that you’re here tonight, dwelling on the fact that you lost the girl you cared about means that you really valued her,” The girl said. “You must be a really great guy.”

Robaire looked at the girl with sparkles in his eyes. “I, uh…thank you. That means a lot.”

“No problem. It looks like you needed it-”

“Gogo! You can head home now!” A guy yelled from the back.

“Okay!” Gogo yelled back.

“Are you leaving?” Robaire asked.

“Yes. I have some things to take care of.” Gogo grabbed her things and prepared to leave.

“Oh! Before you go, let me pay for my drink,” Robaire said as he got out his wallet.

“No need. It’s on the house,” Gogo assured.

“Are you sure?” Robaire asked.

“I’m sure. See you later.” Gogo waved at Robaire as she left.

After Robaire watched Gogo leave, he then looked down at his drink and formed a small smile on his face.

…

“C’mon, man, you should just forget about her,” T said over the phone. “You’ve been bonkers all day.”

“I know, but…she broke up with me. It’s not easy,” Robaire replied.

“Yeah but she’s not worth it.” T crossed his arms. “I never really liked her, anyway. She ignored my compliments.”

Robaire chuckled while he opened his fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. “Thanks, T. Also, why aren’t you asleep yet? We have to get up early tomorrow for rehearsals and to work on our song.”

“I tried to! But I had to go to the bathroom, then my feet walked to the kitchen, then my hands grabbed some snacks. Now, I’m on the phone with you. Blame anything but me,” T reasoned.

“Right.” Robaire sighed. “Anyway, I’m gonna go. Thanks for cheering me up. See you tomorrow."

“Bye, Robaire!” T hung up the phone.

After talking to T, Robaire sat down on the couch and started writing down ideas for their next song. After almost an hour, Robaire realized something.

“Shoot, I forgot that I needed paper towels and milk.” Robaire got up from the couch, grabbed his things and put on a disguise.

He left his apartment and headed to the convenience store down the street. On his way there, he ran into someone.

“Crap, I hope I didn’t leave my wallet.” Gogo came speed walking up behind Robaire while she rummaged through her purse. “I really don’t want to go back home and-”

Gogo bumped into Robaire’s back, almost making him fall but Robaire caught himself quickly. He then turned around to see that it was the pretty girl from the bar earlier.

“Oh, I’m so sorry! Are you okay-” Gogo stopped herself once she realized who it was. “Oh, you’re the guy from the bar earlier, right? The one who I made the Martini for?”

“Y-yeah. Your name’s Gogo, right?” Robaire asked.

Gogo nodded. “How did you know?”

“I heard someone call your name from the back of the bar earlier.” Robaire scratched the back of his head. “Thanks for earlier, by the way. I was feeling kinda down.”

“It’s no problem, really. Are you feeling better?” Gogo asked.

“Not..really. I’m trying to, though. What you said earlier really helped,” Robaire replied.

“I’m glad. By the way, I never asked you but what’s your name?” Gogo wondered.

“It’s Robaire.” Robaire put out his hand for Gogo to shake. “Nice to meet you.”

“Likewise,” Gogo said while she shook his hand. “I see that you’re wearing a hat and shades again. Any reason why?”

Robaire’s eyes widened, thinking of what to say. “Um..”

“You don’t have to tell me. I was just wondering but I don’t need an answer.” Gogo looked down at her wrist. “It’s getting late. I should hurry back home to get my wallet if I want to make it in time.”

“Oh, okay.” Robaire looked Gogo up and down. “I guess I’ll…see you again sometime. Maybe we’ll bump into each other again.”

Gogo chuckled. “Maybe. I do hope so. Anyway, it was nice to see you again. Bye now.”

“Same here. Bye...” Robaire once again watched as Gogo left.

Robaire smiled to himself as he continued to walk to the convenience store.

Robaire turns to meet your eyes, his own sparkling at the sight of you.

You gulp at his revelation, focusing on his fingers gently tapping against the old leather-bound cover.

"Do you want to hear it, mon ange?"

Well, who were you to say no? A simple nod of the head gave him the queue to read the words on the page;

Of cloudless climes and starry skies;

And all that’s best of dark and bright

Meet in her aspect and her eyes..."

At that, Robaire's hazel-flecked irises meet yours, the window to his soul. And all that he felt for you was clear in that moment as you glimpsed into his...

Jesse; ‘Home’

"I'm sorry the tour bus is a little...cramped." Jesse looks down at you, a gentle blush dusting his cheeks as he scratches the back of his neck.

Little does he know, it doesn’t matter to you if you’re in a grandiose mansion or stuck in a ditch in the back of beyond. Either way, you'd feel the at home, so long as he's by your side.

This fact slowly dawns on him as your gaze locks onto him, your eyes glimmering with care. It takes everything in him not to turn into a tomato as you reach up and press a gentle kiss beside his ear.

"Wherever you are is my home..."

Aaron T; ‘Alive’

"There's so many cool things we can do today!" T gestures grandly to the streets of Toronto, almost forgetting keep a low profile, "The skate park, the mall...oooh the arcade! That's gotta be top of the list..."

Listening to him ramble ignites something in you. An excitement that you believed was lost to your childhood. Watching his face light up at the prospect of sharing a day with you, taking on the world together, makes you come alive.

"Y/N? You alright?"

His deep voice tempers from excitement to light concern in a heartbeat. But a simple nod of your head and a toothy smile brings Aaron's vibrant smile back to life.

"C'mon, then- we got so much livin’ to do!"

Aaron Z; ‘Warmth’

"Sweetheart...hey, hey, you alright?"

In a heartbeat he's at your side, bundling you against him. The steady rise and fall of his chest against your cheek soothes your soul, warming you to your core.

Nodding your head gently, Aaron lets out a soft sigh. No matter your mood, no matter your circumstances, he's always there. A constant light in the dark, a source of warmth that you've come to rely on. When the world feels cold and cruel, his love melts your problems away.

"I've got you, little one...I've got you..."

Tae Young; ‘Sweetness’

Swinging your legs from your seat on the boardwalk, you let out a contented sigh. Taking another lick of your ice cream, you hear a chuckle from beside you.

"Dove, you have ice cream everywhere..."

A blush rises to your cheeks under Tae's sparkling gaze, his eyes flickering between your own and your lips. Usually, his cheeks are the ones permanently decorated with pink, but not today...

"Here, I can make it better..."

A gentle peck to the corner of your mouth is all that's required to get rid of the excess ice cream, and a sweet chuckle tumbles from his lips as you blush more still.

One thing's for sure; life with Tae by your side couldn't be sweeter...

It's them 🤩 (⚠️ spoilers below⚠️)

The video's by yours truly 😌. I really like this song and I was thinking, "What if 4*town sang it from Road to 4*TOWN?" So I got the official art for the fanfic and made it! This goes more with Act l, Tae Young finding who wants to be with his parents barely paying attention to him (also in Act ll so far), Aaron Z running away from coming out to his family, Jesse having to begin again every time he deals with his mom or Beckett talking bad about Marcel or Selina, and Robaire thinking he knows he wants with being the band leader and with his parents.
