Bobby doesn’t mean to fall in love with you, it’s just something that happens throughout the duration of your partnership. You’re meant to be a maternity cover, someone to pick up Eame’s caseload while she’s away as a surrogate for her sister.

When you first appear, he hates your sunny disposition. Eames is sensible, practical, it’s a good balance to his eccentric qualities. You’re too bright, too vibrant, it hurts to even look at you. The worst part is you don’t even try to reign him in.

“You’re an adult. You’re smart enough to know when you’re going too far.” You tell him when he confronts you about it. “You’re just pissed off because you’re missing your partner.”

He pauses then because honestly, he never dreamed that you’d call him out like that. He hadn’t thought it was in your nature. He starts to see you in a different light then, because underneath all of the sunshine and rainbows, there’s a core of steel.

He sees it during interrogations, when you go toe to toe with suspects. You have a way of getting under people’s skin, of deducing their secrets. He has a forensic mind but you, you’re emotionally intelligent. You get people.

“How’s she working out?” Captain Deakins him one night after you’ve gone home.

“We had a rocky start.” He tells his captain, his palm rubbing across his mouth as he stares at your desk with the brightly coloured pens and post its. You’re a visual person, you work best colour coding information, it was infuriating in the beginning but now he kind of likes it. It adds a little something to his day. “But she’s growing on me.”

It’s a Tuesday when he realises that everything has changed. You look up from a report you’re reading, and you give him that smile, the one that makes his heart beat a little faster in his chest. He finds the edges of his mouth tilting up as his gaze lowers back to the paper in front of him.

Yea, you’re definitely growing on him.

Law & Order SVU 14x04: Acceptable Loss

Really only watching this for Eames to hurt myself....

I still say Bobby Goren 'Moving on' from Major Case really made zero fucking since after the Criminal Intent finale. I haven't seen in like 13 years, but I remember Bobby begging for his job to not be taken away.

But I guess I'm glad Alex "decided it was time for a change" soley because that meant she could stay there without Bobby.

But still, the only thing I feel like could drive Bobby away from Major Case was either Alex rejecting him, or him just not being able to handle working with her anymore because of his feeling for her and not wanting to take the chance that he would hurt her (as established by either something Nicole said or that basketball coach, I can't remember because it's a blur right now) or he was afraid of her rejecting him.

Istg, I hope Alex went after him after that little Convo with Benson.

I love Alex so much, this episode made me really hate the SVU team for not listening to her. Like this is fucking infuriating.

I HAVE to assume Kathryn decided to put her hands behind her back in this interrogation scene. That was an acting choice, no director would ask her to do that (unless the person who directed this did CI too). That's a Goren thing and she mimicked it. And that little move there at the end? The way she lifted her head and the angle her eye site was at, and that breath she let out? Goren too. Fucking brilliant, Kathryn, geezus!

UGH. Beautiful. I wonder how much Kathryn put Bobby/Vincent into this episode. How much was her idea. Unless someone was good enough to do that themselves.

Watching Eames, who had to describe to a confused Goren that being a surrogate for her sister was going to take her from her duties as a detective was amazing, didn’t even bat an eye. Then, for her to respond to his question of who his partner would be with "I pity the fool"?

Bobby can’t take his eyes off your lips. The vivid red hue accentuates them as you run your finger over the outline chasing away any smudges from the lipstick.

Forever Together, the shade is called. He knows that because he’d bought you a new one after you’d spent the night, leaving sensual imprints all over his body.

Your eyes flicker up to meet his over the mirror of your compact. You smile that salacious little grin of yours before you snap it shut, depositing it back in your desk drawer.

You know exactly what you’re doing to him. It’s a game, he realises as you adjust the collar of the pretty blue dress you’re wearing, revealing the faint bruise he’d left on the hollow of your throat last night. A way of driving him a little crazy before the two of you go out this evening.

The edges of his mouth tip up into a smile as he turns his attention back to his paperwork, his pen tapping lightly on the table. Eames is the only one that knows about the two of you, she’d cottoned onto it the second she’d returned to work. Everyone else including your partner Logan have no idea that you’re in a relationship.

“I’m going to head out.” You tell him, raising to your feet and picking up your purse.

“Have fun on your date.” He says without looking up.

“Oh, I will.” He hears the light teasing in your voice and his cock stirs at the implication.

 “Oh Bobby, I left the file you were asking about in your top drawer.” You call over your shoulder, the sound of your heels clicking across the wiles as you head towards the elevator.

He pauses for a moment, the lift chiming in the background before you step onto it as he replays the conversations you’ve had throughout the day.

He doesn’t recall asking you for a casefile…

When he opens his desk drawer, he sees the flash of red lace almost immediately. His hand slips inside, his fingertips brushing over the damp material and he clenches his jaw to prevent the moan working it’s way out of his throat. He glances around before he removes your panties from his desk before tucking them into his trouser pocket. He takes his personal cell out of the interior compartment of his suit jacket before he pulls up your text chain and types out his message.

I recently noticed something during two Law and Order: Criminal Intent episodes (I actually noticed it a while ago, but I only now had the time to actually verify it). And because I haven't seen anyone talk about it (I might just have missed it, but anyway), I'm now going to.

That picture is from Season 3 Episode 10. The important part here is the date (Friday, 21. November 2003). Right after that scene, we see Bobby solve the case / get the guy to confess (it was the one with the two game developers where the one killed a gaming girl because he was jealous of her spending time with his partner) and him getting a text message from Alex about her having given birth to her nephew, which makes this day his birthday.

This picture is from Season 9 Eisode 2. Again, important is the date (Thursday, 19. November 2009) Eames is at the office of these two guys, who tell her to fire Bobby. After that, we only see a few scenes of them solving the case (First, the girlfriend of the murderer is killed, and Nichols and Stevens are questioning him and his sister. Then they are at 1PP and the sister confessed, but Goren tells Nichols that they need to let the guy free to finish the mission Captain Ross died for.) and finally the last scene, which is Alex firing Bobby and her resigning in the end. I'm not 100% sure, but I assume that all these scenes take place on the same day or maybe like a maximum of half a week(?).

Now I have this idea that just a few days later (Saturday, 21. November 2009) it's Alex's nephew's 6. Birthday. From the little things we get about her private life and her family (like her talking about him in season 3 or her being at what seems to be a family member's house and some small kids running around in season 6 for, I think, Thanksgiving or something like that), I assume that she is really close with him and will probably visit him on his birthday (or maybe the day after).

Based on these things, I just had an idea for a fanfiction where Eames visits her nephew for his birthday, and they have a party with the whole family (Eames' dad and mum (if she is still alive) and her brother with his family) and she takes Bobby along with her 1. because she always does that (he's kinda part of the family) and 2. to cheere him up after all that has just happened.

I think because the whole firing and resigning thing just happened her family might not know about it, but they find out during the party, and of course they are all shocked and Bobby feels kinda guilty (like he always does) but her family (except maybe for 1 or 2 people) are not angry at him. Even better if Bobby and Alex end up together during/ at the end of the story.

I just thought I would share it here because I'm not really good at writing (from all the ideas I had, I only finished one story, and the ones I started don't seem to get done in the near future) but I would love to read it, so if someone likes this idea, feel free to use it.

I know it’s a small fandom but I hope someone can help me 😅

There were these two gorenxeames videos on YouTube forever ago that i absolutely loved but can’t find anymore. I don’t know if they got deleted or private but if anyone has a link to them or another website I can find them on would be great.

One of them was called Even Now and another was Hard to Love. I believe they were by the same creator.
