I’m finding myself finally understanding robo vore/endo but in very niche situations.

Like imagine a daycare worker or an attendant of some kind to this entertainment animatronic. They work with kids so they’re always exhausted lol. The animatronic is like twice the size of them and sentient. They get along fine, though it’s not really understood how sentient the animatronic is.

The animatronic is nice to the worker and vice versa bc it’s in their nature but it’s really just assumed that the animatronic is following programming to keep kids content and all that jazz. the worker finds it uplifting none the less.

And like, for some reason or another, the attendant ends up in their stomach/chest hatch. Maybe for a safety lockdown, maybe to fix something, maybe because the kids were finally too damn much and they couldn’t take it that day, they were prone to falling asleep standing and the animatronic took charge.

And this was supposed to be a normal, albeit uncommon thing. It’s professional. It’s a safety procedure even.

But the worker finds themselves closed into the robot that has been kind to them, that is literally programmed to be charming, likeable. And they find themselves tuning into the whirrs and clicks of machinery, And they find it….. comforting??? Pleasant?? It might be freaky being at the mercy of machines but it was pleasant being so close. This was their co-worker… their friend? The more time they spend in there the more they realize that yes, these interactions are real and alive. Maybe the animatronic and worker are chatting while this is all going down, and that conversation really hammers it in. They’re inside a kind caring and strong robot who thinks highly of them. They’re the closest they can be.

And the robot, Who now currently has the only adult human that treats them like a person, is stunned. They’ve had other maintenance workers in there from time to time, and it didn’t really matter at all. Not good or bad. Now, this human, who they genuinely care about, is quite literally protected by the robot’s thick layers of metal and machine. The human is protected by something way way way more durable. it can feel it’s power have to work just a little harder to compensate for that weight, their joints moving just a bit slower. And the robot feels a sense of pride. The robot finds something that drives it outside of its programming. The worker.

oh! and obviously, all your OCs (or at least Adam and Max?) opinions on amusement/theme parks, roller coasters, cotton candy, and churros.

Max loves amusement parks. Going to one was a treat as a kid since they didn’t have a lot of money. His older brothers would make him go on the rollercoasters and haunted house that used to really freak him out, but they mostly did it so he would learn to enjoy them (which he eventually did). They also would fight eachother on the bumper cars while their mom watched and took pictures. There was a an abandoned theme park in Detroit around his house that he was pretty sure was haunted or something, but he used to loiter around there as well. Doesn’t really visit in the present day but I think he’d still like it. Prefers hot dogs and funnel cakes.

Adam maybe has been to a proper theme park once in his life? It was when he was very young, so the memories are blurry. He went on the teacups, the little train thing, some other kiddie rides, then scared the shit out of himself on the hall of mirrors bc he couldn’t find Charlie (it didn’t help that they basically looked the exact same back then) and then a clown made him break down in tears… I think he’d be willing to go now, though he’d prefer more low-key rides like the ferris wheel or carousel.

I’m gonna do Abby, Zach, Jude and Ciarán under the cut so it isn’t too long:

Abigail isn’t fond of crowds or noise, and probably just got dragged away from her books as a kid because it was a ‘family’ trip. Typical Abby, she wandered away from the group when she could so she could go explore. She especially enjoyed the haunted houses and the hall of mirrors. No one knows how that one ride went out of commission, but it almost killed her relative… She probably would be a cotton candy lover, and also favours ice cream. I can somehow see an alternate version of her joining a circus as a creepy magician or fortune teller.

When Zach was younger the most leisure activities he took part in were things his dad took him out to do, like hunting and fishing. Later he probably loitered around theme parks and such like Max did, messing about with his posse of buddies he can barely remember the names of now, smoking behind the machinery. Not really into big rides, more stuff like those games where you shoot targets or try to get rings around poles and stuff, good for impressing people with. Liked sandwich wraps and donuts best. Basically got turned off amusement parks altogether when he heard about Subject No. 602 though.

Jude has gone to a few. There was a sort of seasonal fair that happened every year in her hometown that had stuff like corn mazes, some dinky rides, that sort of thing, but never anything huge. Sometimes she went with her parents out to a big amusement park though. Being a horse girl, she loved the carousel and mostly stayed around lower and middle-range rides that weren’t too crazy. She isn’t much of an adrenaline junkie so the only time she went on a rollercoaster is when her then friend, Rachel, bullied her into it. She liked pretzels and tarts and stuff like that. Too busy nowadays to think of going to one.

Ciarán, um… I really can’t imagine him getting through the front door without causing a commotion (unless he can… somehow convince people he’s just wearing a very convincing Halloween costume?) so it’s probably not possible for him to participate. He’ll likely watch from a distance if it’s somewhat in the countryside. He really enjoys the circus because although he can’t really see into it very well, he still catches a glimpse of all the performers. He’s very old, so travelling performers are familiar to him. Some have even made contact with him before…

Figuring out more of my boy s-432's design. He wanted to break away from the 'Rick hair' so he shaved off the sides. Sometimes he lets it grow out. Summer makes him change his shirt color and styles so he doesn't just keep a closet of all the same clothes.

He's a robosexual 😘 He's pan so he's been with all types of beings but he has a soft spot for robots and has been in a few longer relationships with androids. As a Rick he obviously has issues with commitment and is single when he crashes with the Smith family. He specializes in robotics but doesn't date his own robots obviously, too much odd morality to try and parse there. He does upgrade his partners if they want(of any species). As would be expected he also highly modified himself, just keeps a synthetic skin over it all to not scare people haha

I love TIM! TIM is great! Also TIM following Hood around shouting while he's trying to patrol is amazing, 'Largest Human was LEAKING!', 'Where were you?' - He is going to unintentionally guilt-trip Jason so so hard isn't he? Also I'm just imagining Jason's reaction to all of this. Of no-one having told TIM he was dead, of TIM sharing what happened while he was gone, and of course TIM's battles against Dick and Damian... also who gave TIM a blow-torch? Was that Jason?

Jason feels horrible about letting down this small robot!!! As for Jason dying—I'm sure Bruce tried to explain death to the TIM, but it just couldn't process the concept.

And yes, of course it was Jason. It has two settings—cigarette lighter and HUGE STREAM OF FLAME. As it should be. \o/

I'm so glad you enjoyed TIM! Makes it worth digging up those old logs and blowing off the cobwebs. 😅
