A few days after their engagement party, Buck and Laura started planning their wedding. Buck had forgiven his parents for the way they treated him after Daniel died, but he wasn't interested in having a relationship with them, and therefore, they weren't going to be involved in the wedding. Instead of a mother/son dance, there was going to be a brother/sister dance.
Laura was a fan of the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing. She and Buck took a private dance class and asked the instructor to choreograph a dance to I've Had the Time of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.

It was time for Buck and Laura's first dance as a married couple.
Buck stood up.
Buck took his blazer off and hung it on the back of his chair. He made his way to the dance floor.
Laura stood up.
Laura made her way to the dance floor.
The DJ spun a disc, and I've Had the Time of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes started playing.
The photographer was standing a few inches away from the stage. He began videotaping. Laura had asked him to videotape her and Buck's first dance as a married couple and e-mail the video to her.
Now, I've had the time of my life.
Buck put his right hand on Laura's back and his left hand on her waist. He lowered her body backward. She tilted her head back. He swung her to the left. He pulled her toward him until their foreheads touched.
No, I've never felt like this before.
Buck stood behind Laura. She put her right arm in the air. His right hand moved downward until it was on her waist.
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you.
Laura's right arm slowly moved downward. Her fingertips brushed against the back of Buck's head. She turned her head and looked at him. She slowly moved her hand downward and wrapped it around her torso until it connected with the hand he had on her waist.
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I owe it all to you.
Buck used his free hand to push Laura's body outward. She spun and moved his hand so that it was beside her. He pulled her toward him.
I've been waiting for so long
Now I've finally found someone to stand by me
We saw the writing on the wall
As we felt this magical fantasy
Now with passion in our eyes
There's no way we could disguise it secretly
So, we take each other's hand
'Cause we seem to understand the urgency.
Buck put his right hand on Laura's back and his left hand on her waist. He pressed her up against his chest, and they began to sway, their feet following the intricate patterns they had learned for weeks on end. She raised her arms and wiggled them.
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So, I'll tell you something
This could be love, because
I've had the time of my life
No, I've never felt this way before
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you.
Buck made his way to the back of the room, his hips subtly shaking with each movement. Laura stood still.
With my body and soul
I want you more than you'll ever know
So, we'll just let it go
Don't be afraid to lose control
No
Yes, I know what's on your mind
When you say stay with me tonight
Stay with me
And remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of.
Buck turned around with a flourish and made his way toward Laura, his hips subtly shaking with each movement. They made eye contact. He raised his right hand, palm upward, and beckoned her closer by repeatedly moving his curled index finger toward her.
So, I'll tell you something
This could be love, because
I've had the time of my life
No, I've never felt this way before
Yes, I swear
Yes, I swear
It's the truth
And I owe it all to you.
Laura ran forward. When she reached Buck, she jumped and stretched her arms horizontally to the sides. He put his hands on her hips and lifted her over his head.
The crowd cheered.
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched through every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you
Now, I've had the time of my life
No, I've never felt this way before
Never felt this way
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
I've had the time of my life
No, I've never felt this way before
Never felt this way
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
It's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched through every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you.
As Buck lowered Laura toward the floor, she felt the slight pressure of his fingers in her sides. He let go of her when her feet were on the floor.

Buck returned to his seat. Laura stayed on the dance floor.
It was time for the father/daughter dance.
The DJ spun a disc, and I'll Be Your Man by Zac Brown Band started playing. Laura liked that song and wanted it to play during the father/daughter dance.
You're going to make the finest mama someday
Some man will take you away
But until then
Chase down your dreams
Laugh all the time and believe
That love's going to conquer all things
So, until then
I'll be your man.
Rodney walked up to Laura. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and she put her hands on his shoulders. They began to sway. The photographer took a picture of them.
There was a time when I thought I knew love
Until you came into this world
Time keeps on flying
But you're always going be my baby girl
So, as you walk through this life, you will see
The world's what you want it to be
But until then
Go on and dance
Dance like there's no one around
Never stop singing out loud
And until then
I'll be your man
There was a time when I thought I knew love
Until you came into this world
Time keeps on flying
But you're always going to be my baby girl
Go have a ball
Take every chance that you make
You know I'll be one call away
I'll always be
I'll always be your man
Hold on, child
Hold on tight to your old man
Hold on, child
Hold on tight to your old man
I'm going to hold you tight
Under my wing long as I can
Hold you tight
Under my wing long as I can
Hold on, child
Sweet child of mine
Hold on tight to your old man
Hold on, child
Hold on tight to your old man
Hold you tight
I'm going to hold you tight
Under my wing long as I can
You're my, my, my, girl
Under my wing long as I can
I'll be your man.
The DJ stopped spinning the disc.
Rodney let go of Laura. They returned to their seats.
It was time for the brother/sister dance.
The DJ spun a disc, and Jada Facer and Kyson Facer's cover of Hey, Brother by Avicii started playing. Maddie stumbled across the cover on YouTube one day and showed it to Buck, and they decided to have the DJ play it during the brother/sister dance.
Hey, brother
There′s an endless road to rediscover
Hey, sister
Know the water's sweet but blood is thicker
Oh, if the sky comes falling down
For you
There′s nothing in this world I wouldn't do.
Maddie made her way to the dance floor. Buck walked up to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and she put her hands on his shoulders. They began to sway. The photographer took a picture of them.
Hey, brother
Do you still believe in one another?
Hey, sister
Do you still believe in love?
I wonder
Oh, if the sky comes falling down
For you
There's nothing in this world I wouldn′t do
What if I′m far from home?
Oh, brother, I will hear you call
What if I lose it all?
Oh, sister, I will help you out
Oh, if the sky comes falling down
For you
There's nothing in this world I wouldn′t do
Hey, brother
There's an endless road to rediscover
Hey, sister
Do you still believe in love?
I wonder
Oh, if the sky comes falling down
For you
There′s nothing in this world I wouldn't do
What if I′m far from home?
Oh, brother, I will hear you call
What if I lose it all?
Oh, sister, I will help you out
Oh, if the sky comes falling down
For you
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do.
The DJ stopped spinning the disc.
Buck let go of Maddie. They returned to their seats.
The reception ended at 10:00 p.m.
Buck and Laura's ranch
11:00 p.m.
Using her cell phone, Laura checked her e-mails. She saw the video of her and Buck's first dance as a married couple. She downloaded the video.
Laura opened her cell phone's Instagram app. She changed her last name from Smith to Buckley. She changed her username from LauraSmith to LauraBuckley. She posted the video of her and Buck's first dance as a married couple, tagged Buck, and added a caption. The caption read "Our first dance as a married couple."

This Man Was Arrested For WHAT!? #1stamendment#freedom#jesus#god
Protections under the Constitution are not & cannot be suspended, even in a pandoomic.
This was a clear violation of the 1st amendment on the accounts of 1) Freedom of religion. 2) Freedom of speech. & 3) The freedom to peaceably assemble.
First Amendment: "CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
I firmly stand with Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne & any other pastors/evangelists who know their rights & are UNASHAMED of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

A New Creation --  This message is based on a portion of my new book titled, “A New Creation” soon to be published. Let’s foundation this:2 Cor 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. What in all of everything wasn’t finished by the Word, the pre-Jesus of our earth? You, but, and well I won’t go into the fact that all of what we see happening here on earth has, well, already happened in eternity. It more or less started and ended before it began in time. You can read 1 Peter 1:20 for some light revelation regarding that, but for the sake of getting too squirrely on these wet roads, I must get back to the main subject which is that you are a new creation so stop acting like the old created you. What Ken, sharp out the gate? Ha, but hey were friends now right? Remember all of my messages are designed and intended to bring about change. You see you would think that humans think change is some kind of a disease based on our reaction to it when it is that time to do exactly that. Me included. I had my whole life mapped out in my 20’s. Yup, I was going to work at Sierra Pacific Lumber company my whole life and then retire with a 401k and social security. I was going to continue to build show and race VW’s and becoming a small time parts distributor for these lil bugs. Yup, and I was going to be an Oakland A’s and Raiders fan and watch all of their games until I up and died in my retirement chair. All planned out. Oh how small my plan was when after getting saved and looking back over 40-years of life how Gods plan was completely different for my life. When, and I may be getting ahead of myself, but that’s ok as long as I get it in the message, when I became a new creation, all and I mean all, of my plans dissolved over time and I became all together something else. I cannot say this emphatically enough. Every bit of what I thought I would become which really wasn’t much was being erased from my plans for my life absent of God. No my personality and talents remained intact and immature, they were illuminated to me to be a key factor in how I would move forward in life and eventually being prepared to be used more strategically for His, not my, but for His purposes. It was the great exchange whereby I surrendered my very small oh so very small life for His life in me and for me. Oh the greatest exchange to have ever taken place. No like we dream and conjure up these ideas like what if I were a super-hero? What super powers would I have? And yet right standing outside the door of your mind and heart is He the One that gave us the ability to even think about super-heroes. And but if He were invited in, you could in ministry when you are ready, called and matured for it can pray for healing or a miracle, sign, and/or a wonder and it would happen. Imagine Moses touched the shores of a sea and the water folded back on itself until a dry path wide enough for 5000 people arm and arm to cross over at the same time until all of the millions made it to the other side. If that is not super-hero stuff in your mind, you might need to go to a Rodney Howard Brown service and in doing so you will become befuddled at the work of God in humanity.

Spontaneous Revival: The Prophetic Invitation of the Asbury Revival
When you see evidence of a Holy Spirit outpouring, it’s an indicator light.
It’s a supernatural invitation summoning you to do something so that you can experience that same measure of Holy visitation.
Asbury is an Invitation
Presently, we are witnessing the Spirit of God moving powerfully across the Earth—most notably at Asbury University (although, I am convinced we have been experiencing the rumble of Great Awakening for many years now, most notably in 2020 with the CA Beach Revivals hosted by Saturate, the North GA Revival in Dawsonville, the eight-year plus Fresh Start Revival in Peoria Arizona, the culture of revival at the Ramp in Hamilton, AL, and so on).
Bottom line: The “wells” of revival are reopening, as Asbury had at least two notable revivals in the past, most popularly and widely recognized, the 1970 Asbury Revival. God’s movement yesterday should provoke us to expect a fulfillment, or completion of that move today. He finishes what He starts, and Jesus is returning for a church that is compatible with His Second Coming—a glorious bride so in sync and in step with the Holy Spirit that the church and the Spirit are speaking the same language, saying the same thing concerning King Jesus: Maranatha… Come!
God is Not Repeating the Greatest Hits of the 1990’s
Immediately, our tendency is to want to go where God is moving. That’s important for sure. But then I sensed the Holy Spirit spoke to me with sobriety saying, “I don’t want a repeat of the 1990’s.” The 90’s was a historic time of revival, from the 1993’s Rodney Howard-Browne camp meetings at Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland, to the 1994 Toronto Blessing (truly, one of the landmark moves of God in history that impacted the world), to the 1995 Brownsville Revival (which saw over two million people visit an Assembly of God Church in Pensacola, FL and thousands of people either give their lives to Christ, or re-dedicate their lives to Him), and then the Smithton Outpouring in the cornfields of Missouri, where God descended in power reminiscent of the great frontier revivals of Cane Ridge and the Red River Meeting House.
These are all glorious moves of God that must be honored as memorials of Holy Spirit visitation… but a memorial is never meant to produce stagnancy. A memorial should not create a culture of reminiscence; it should provoke us to pray, “Lord, do it again,” and then, become a people willing to “do again,” what they did to experience revival.
It’s time to ASK for the Rain… because it’s raining!
Asbury University is a summons right now. Should you go and visit? Absolutely, yes. But if you cannot make it to Asbury University, I have good news for you: You too can experience the outpouring of Holy Spirit right where you are. No one is safe.
How can you experience this blessing of revival? Zechariah 10:1 tells us exactly what to do when God is pouring out His Spirit: you ask for rain in the time of rain. Obviously, it’s the time of revival and outpouring, so you need to ask for it for yourself.
Generally, we refer to this “asking” as prayer. But there is a kind of prayer that is compatible with revival.  Humdrum prayer won’t suffice.  Kumbaya prayers won’t break open the heavens. We cannot be half-hearted in our prayers.  Back in Christian School (before I was redeemed, of course), I remember we loved “prayer request time” at the beginning of class.  Why?  Not because we were Intercessors-in-the-making, but the longer we focused on “prayer requests,” the less we needed to do in terms of class work. We trivialized prayer. We prayed for Aunty Sally, and my neighbor’s book, and then of course, there would be the kid with “Ten Unspoken” prayer requests. Let’s do an honest assessment of our adult prayer lives: sometimes, does it seem like we are just going through the motions and prayer is a drag? I suggest prayer is a drag because it’s robotically going through lists, it’s sanctified complaining, and it’s “righteous gossip.”
Where are the voices that will shatter darkness and tear open the Heavens over a territory because they contend, travail and intercede until a breakthrough takes place?
Are your prayers compatible with revival?
I’m not suggesting Father God is seated in Heaven with His hands clenched around revival, waiting for the loudest, most intense prayers. Rather, I do believe Heaven is looking and listening at the tone of your prayers—how hungry are you? How thirsty are you? Are you satisfied with where you are in your walk with God—or are you divinely unsettled? Do you read the Bible and wonder, “Why aren’t we seeing or experiencing what is clearly available through the power of the Holy Spirit?” It’s legal to be hungry and thirsty for more than theological knowledge. There is nothing wrong with you if your heart burns to see the words on the page become demonstration in and through your life.  These qualities have historically marked revivalists.
There’s no question about the faithfulness of God or integrity of His Word; we know Scripture is true. So, if the Word is true, and we are not seeing the Word come to pass, it’s a provocation for us to cry out in prayer until everything He promised comes to pass—and I am referring to the great and glorious last-days promise of a Holy Spirit outpouring that impacts all flesh.
When you see and hear about God moving, smile, celebrate, praise the Lord, and then ask for the same rain of Holy Spirit outpouring to saturate your life, your family, your school, your church, your city and your nation. It’s raining… so ask for the rain.  It’s time!
