MC: “Everybody is just a person. You are cool.”

Atin, now grimacing and grinning at the same time: “I keep hearing that but what’s so cool about me? I’m just a guy/girl from a farm, not an Olympic champion or something. I don’t even know how to do my own taxes.”

MC, rolling their eyes: “Nobody knows how to do their taxes.”

Quinn: “I do. It’s not that hard. Everything is written on their webpage, I can show you if you want.”

MC, now staring at Atin: “Wait, who does your taxes then?”

Atin: “My mom.”

Roga, whispering to Quinn in the background: “You are supposed to do your own taxes?”

Quinn, lifting an eyebrow: “Yes. I’ve been doing yours for years. Thanks for noticing.”

in the relationship stage, how would the ROs react if they were having a silly argument—nothing serious, like, pizza with pineapple—with the MC, and the MC started kissing them to get them to stop?

Atin would start complaining with a smile, like: “Aii, hey! Stop... stop it! That’s not an... that’s not an argument... Haha... you are not playing fair.”

Roga would try to stay grumpy but then they would push MC down and say “oh, so is this what you want, hm?” then kiss them properly and deeply.

Quinn would start giggling and shout “not fair, not fair!” then they would squirm around to get out of MC’s reach, but only so that MC can easily catch them again 😉

Hiya, how would the ROs react if the MC was being tortured in the room next door and they were tied up/couldn't get out?

Atin would do everything to get out while trying to ignore the sounds coming from the other room. They would be in panic mode though so it’s very likely that they will just break the equipment/furniture and then go on a rampage to get MC out. And they will get MC out or they will die trying.

Roga would close their eyes and try to go into mediation to ignore the sounds. They would try to get out but if they knew they couldn’t, they would just try to endure it as long as help arrives because they trust that their friends will come for them.

Oh, poor Quinn... Quinn is not very good with all this agent stuff that’s going on. They would be absolutely desperate, probably cry and scream at the door to stop it until their voice breaks. They would still hope that their friends will come for them though until the very end.

Awww... Sad ask 😞 But good for that angst 👌

Going back to Ro as kids, how would they react if they saw some kids bullying the MC (or in the case of Quinn and Roga, MC coming out to defend them)?

If they are abusing mc physically, then Atin would totally run there and start beating them up (the bullies, not the mc lol). They would fight them until either they run away or a teacher comes to separate them. They would probably end up in the principal’s office, grinning ear to ear through a bleeding nose and a black-eye :D And later when Atin’s father comes to pick them up, he would tell them that they did good.

Did I mention that Roga was an annoying brat? Because Roga was an annoying brat 😂 So if mc comes there to defend them and chase the bullies away, Roga would still be grumpy at mc and tell them to piss off and mind their own business. It would likely be Quinn who goes there to the disappointed mc and apologises for Roga. Then maybe the next day, after Roga got an earful from their parents (because Quinn totally did tell on them), they would approach mc in a shy way, heavily blushing and mumble “sorry and thanks for yesterday” and then run away.

Quinn would be completely flabbergasted because other kids usually either pick on them or just ignore the bullying. So after mc chases the bullies away, Quinn would probably start sobbing because of how overwhelmed they are from the whole situation. They would need like half an hour to calm down and from that point on, Quinn would totally have a crush on mc 😏

How would the ROs react to accidentally hurting MC? Like, "we're wrestling for fun and, oh, no!, my elbow connected to your nose".

Atin would go “OH SHIT!!!!” and then fuss over MC for maybe two hours straight, constantly apologizing and bringing them anything to make them feel better. Atin is all fun and games until it’s just normal training but they would never hurt MC for real.

Roga would be scared for a moment but then their professional side will come out and they would examine MC to make sure the injury is not too bad. It probably isn’t, but Roga will fuss over it anyway for a while :D

Quinn will probably be more scared than the MC and I think it will have to be the MC calming Quinn down and tell them it’s not too bad because Quinn will totally freak out and probably even hit poor MC again by accident when they try to help them.

I have a sweet question, if the ROs and MC were children, and they went to the same school or lived in the same neighborhood, how would the ROs try to get MC's attention?

Aaaaah! I love this AU! 😳😳😳😳 Okay okay okay...

So Atin used to be the loud popular kid in school who always had like 30 friends low-key and even the teachers loved them (not the bully type of popular kid, more like the sweet pro athlete kid who is nice to everyone). So probably they would invite MC to all of their birthday parties, and invite them to sit at their table at lunch and introduce them to their friends and always make sure MC is included in games and such. After a while, they would even invite MC to their farm to show them the horses and their pet dog.

Roga was a little brat when they were young. So I imagine your poor MC would get mixed feelings because Roga would be the type who is always mean to them, running away from them when MC tries to talk, sticking their tongue out when they catch you looking... but then they would give you a hand-made present for your birthday from your MC’s favourite cartoon that they probably worked on for months, and MC would stand there, confused, like “I thought you hated me.” And then Roga would run away blushing.

Quinn was always very shy in school because they were bullied a lot. So they would need a lot of time to gather up their courage to approach MC. I imagine at first it would go like, MC forgets their pencil at home and Quinn goes there with a blushed face and says “you can use mine if you want”, and MC wouldn’t know that it’s their only pencil. And later they would always escort MC halfway home, saying that they are going that way anyway, when in reality they live in the opposite direction.

Now I want to write a short story for when they were kids. Damn :D

Roga would smile every time, and maybe after a while, they would also send photos of their patients’ dogs when they bring them to Roga. Maybe they would even try a selfie from time to time but that would usually turn out crap cause Roga can’t handle phones.

Quinn would think it’s super cute and they would get a dog plushie to send back a picture with them every time mc sends one. They would probably also put the dog plushie in ridiculous situations, like getting a manicure with Quinn and having a coffee and stuff like that.

Atin likes having their hair played with but they probably won’t do it to MC unless MC asks them to. Not that they wouldn’t like doing it, it’s just not something that they usually do :D But they would be amazing at making hairstyles for MC. Especially braiding hair, Atin is very good at that because they also do it for themselves from time to time.

Roga... wouldn’t mind it, I guess. It’s probably not gonna be their favourite thing but they would be okay with it. They won’t exactly “play” with MC’s hair but they would stroke it sometimes, especially when they are in bed.

Quinn would love it. MC could put all kinds of clips in their hair and they wouldn’t mind it. On the other way around, MC would probably look ridiculous if Quinn tries to do their hair because Quinn is shit at hair styling but they would be very enthusiastic at least 😂

Oh my god 😂 Wait, but how do the ROs know it was supposed to be a proposal? Did MC tell them? Because I can just imagine how that would go down:

Atin: “Why are you fretting? He is such a good boy, look how excited he is to see us!” *proceeds to pet the dog*

MC, panicking: “No, you don’t understand, he swallowed the ring!!!

Atin: “The what? What ring? Why did you give him a ring to eat???”

MC, now facepalming: “Atin, I was going to propose to you and he was supposed to bring in the ring...”

Atin freezes for a moment, processing the info... And then bursts out laughing, so much that they start tearing up: “Ahahahaha well, honey, good luck digging in dog shit later.”

MC, sweating: “Uh, don’t worry... It’s gonna be fine... It’s gonna be... Shit... Roga, do you know how to get a ring out of a dog’s stomach?”

Roga, now lifting their eyebrows: “A ring...? Why did you put a ring in his...? Oh. Oh... *facepalm, thinking why do they even love this idiot* You were gonna propose like this? Sweet ancestors...”

Roga goes to examine the dog and shakes their head: “I think we all know how it’s gonna come out, and before you ask, no, I won’t help you look for it. I hope it didn’t have any gemstones that stick out. It could scratch his insides.”

Quinn goes to kneel next to the dog, gently stroking its back to calm him: “He ate a ring? Where did he get it from? You really shouldn’t leave these things out for him to eat, you know.”

MC, sighing: “I was going to propose to you.”

Quinn, now frowning: “Propose me what? I’m not the one leaving rings around. I think we should take him to the vet.”

Crushing stage: MC that from time to time start to give kisses of good morning/goodbye at the ROs on the cheek

Atin would be uhm... really confused about it :D In the beginning, they would probably even think about asking mc to stop it, especially if mc does it in front of others. However, as time passes and the more they think about it, the more they will realize that they actually kinda like it and don’t really want it to stop 😉

Roga would be taken aback at first. They are not a very touchy-feely person in general, but they have come across a lot of different people with lots of different kinds of display of affection, so they would just accept it as MC’s way of showing that they care. That doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t be a bit embarrassed every time mc does it :D

For the first few moments, Quinn would be like 🤩 and probably also blush... And then as they realize what happened, they would start wondering about why they didn’t dislike it because usually, they do when others kiss them like this. So Quinn would be confused about the whole thing for a while, but they also would wait for it eagerly every day and blush every single time it happens.

How would the ros react to an mc that comes in from the cold, in like the dead of winter, all huddled over their middle like they got hit in the stomach, but then they hear a quiet meow from their coat and the mc just freezes and looks at them before saying "Before you say anything, there is 2 feet of snow outside right now and he was crying." and then a cat wiggles their head out of the neck of their jacket?

It’s funny because I just saw this ask yesterday on another blog and I had a weird feeling that somebody will ask this here as well 😂 It’s such a funny scenario, I love it 😂

Atin would be concerned at first, having thoughts about driving MC to the hospital... and then when they see the cat, they would be relieved but also worried a bit because “We don’t have any cat food at home, should I go to the store? Yeah, there is a blanket on the sofa, just put him in that and I’ll buy some cat food, wait here.” And then they would run down to the shop, and when they get back, they would spend the whole day/night fussing over the little guy.

Roga would also be concerned and when MC reveals the cat, they wouldn’t be any less relieved. They would rush MC indoors together with the cat, but then they would go like “I hope you know that I don’t know how to heal animals. I also hope you know that I can’t eat meat so we don’t have anything he could eat.” They would do their best to provide for the cat, but they would insist to take it to the vet as soon as they can.

Quinn would be... uh... a bit conflicted. On one hand, it’s a cat, and cats are cute and fluffy and the little guy is so miserable that they just HAVE to love him... And on the other hand, Quinn’s apartment is not pet-proof (not to mention their landlord would kick them out if they get a cat). So they would probably let the cat in, put it in a warm fluffy blanket and keep a very close eye on him the whole time. Then the next day, they would insist that MC takes him to the vet and then to their own apartment because they are sorry but he can’t stay here.

Considering that this would probably be one of Atin’s cousins doing it as a joke, Atin would glare at them and shout back: “No you don’t! Shut up!”

Roga would probably freeze and then think about all the different ways they want to murder that person, but when MC whispers “Hey, did you hear something?” Roga would just turn to them and say “No.”

Quinn would probably be so nervous at that point that they would just start crying and the ceremony will have to stop anyway until they manage to calm down.

Atin wouldn’t go anywhere then and try to stop the MC. They will drag them out if they have to.

Roga would also try to stop the MC by talking them down and telling them how stupid of an idea this was.

Quinn would stop and stare at MC, then tell them if they aren’t coming then Quinn will stay too. There is nothing MC can say that will change their mind, so MC better get out quick 😂

I read through like all of your asks and what I learned is-

Roga: herbal tea.

Atin: it’s a flat tire, Roga, you can’t fix everything with herbal-

Roga: [aggressively] herbal tea!

Pretty much, yes 😂 In Roga’s defence, that’s what their mother did when they were young and Roga inherited a lot of her herbs that are used in elven healing. Roga is still using those same plants to this day :D
