Imagine if there is a role reversal AU of the Fire Royal Siblings

8 year old Azula will be cuddling the Earth Kingdom doll Iroh gifted her and 10 year old Zuko will be sadistically brandishing the Never Give Up In Fight dagger Iroh gifted him. Azula will be a runt in the fire royal siblings while Zuko being the firebending prodigy. Zuko stole Azula's Earth Kingdom doll and taunts: "Who's gonna make me Zula, mom?" when Azula tries to get her doll back from Zuko. Zuko will address Azula :"Zula". Zuko will say: "A real general will never give up without a fight and burn Ba Sing Se to the ground".

11-year-old Azula will speak out against the general's idea to sacrifice the 41st division and Azula will be begging for Ozai's mercy and gets herself scarred by Ozai while 13-year-old Zuko watches smirking out of schadenfreude. Azula's Agni kai outfit comprises of a red Tabengman top (Thai woman fighter's top the one Raya from Raya and the last dragon wore)

Azula will have both sides of her head shaved save with her signature top knot due to her loss in the Agni Kai as hair is linked to honor. Her Fire Nation armor and helmet will be identical to Zuko due to gender equality in the Fire Nation however the colour palette will correspond to her book 2 Fire Nation outfit so that she will not pass as a female version of Zuko, and she gets banished by the Fire Nation, the only way to regain her honor is to capture the Avatar. Her non winter Fire Nation outfit in Book 1 will be the outfit she wore in Book 2. She will still wear red lipstick

Zuko will retain original pre-Agni Kai appearance which comprising of his ponytail with full hair, his original Fire Nation armor he wore in Book 1.

Azula will bend orange flames while Zuko will bend blue flames and lightning.

When Azula arrives in the Southern Water Tribe, Sokka will be sexist to her after he got defeated by Azula. Azula took umbrage with Sokka's sexism and retaliates Sokka and retorts:" In my country, men and women are equal!" Azula and Sokka fought. Sokka was defeated by Azula and she was about to finish Sokka off Aang comes to Sokka's rescue by flipping Azula with his penguin , causing her helmet to fall off. Her hairstyle will be revealed and everyone in the Southern Water Tribe laughs at her hairstyle, Azula gets infuriated and firebends at the Southern Water Tribe people, thankfully Aang extinguishes the flames in the nick of time.

Azula will disguise herself as the blue Spirit in order to capture Aang and wield dual board swords.

Azula likens Aang to Zuko after Azula seeks shelter in a cave in the blizzard and tells Aang that Zuko's a firebending prodigy and he is well adored in the Fire Nation and tells Aang that her father remarks that Azula is lucky to be born and Zuko is born lucky.

Zuko will be tasked to capture Azula and Iroh for being the failure and traitor of the Fire Nation respectively under the order of Ozai.

Zuko under the supervision of Li and Lo practices his lightning bending.

Zuko tricks Azula into thinking Ozai wants her back. Azula screeches at Zuko for lying to her once the Fire Nation ship commander accidentally label Azula and Iroh as prisoners.

Zuko threatened the local Earth Kingdom villagers with cruel punishment from the Fire Lord should one of them harbor the traitors.

Azula uses her shuriken knife to cut off her top knot in order to disguise herself.

Azula and Iroh will settle down in Song's apartment. Azula will disguise herself as Li , Li means beautiful in Chinese. Azula will wear a headscarf to cover her nearly bald hairstyle and a Tang dynasty round collar banbi ( a type of Tang dynasty hanfu) and a qun (skirt( with a waistband and a sash and slits on both sides of the skirt) and Qing dynasty female trousers and Tang dynasty female shoes in dark and medium shades of green. Azula disguises herself as the Blue Spirit to rob rich Earth Kingdom merchant's possessions in order to sustain herself and her uncle.

Zuko will recruit his girlfriend Mai and Ty Lee to capture Iroh and Zuko. Zuko greets Mai with a kiss when recruiting her. Zuko decides to capture Aang.

In the Azula alone episode, Azula's hair growsback and sports a boyish hairstyle, forehead showing and he sidelocks framing her half of face and wears a Tang dynasty hat Weimao, Azula will isolate herself and stand up for female version of Lee and stays in the latter's house in Azula Alone episode. Azula murmurs to herself: "Zuko always lies, Zuko always lies." Azula will rescue the female version of Lee with her dual swords and remembers her mother's words to never forget her identity. Azula guides the female version of Lee swordfighting. When Azula's identity as a firebender was revealed due to her act of blending her firebending with her swordfighting Azula introduces herself to Gow :"My name is Azula. daughter of Ursa and Fire Lord Ozai. Princess of the Fire Nation, and heir to the throne." Azula attempts to give the female version of Lee the Earth Kingdom doll however the former was rejected by the latter.

In the Chase episode, Zuko imitates Azula to Aang in order to give the latter a clearer picture of who the former is by saying:"I must capture the Avatar to restore my honour." Zuko and Azula fights over Aang. Zuko gets belly bumped by Iroh and gets cornered by Team Avatar, Iroh and Azula. Zuko pretends to surrender to them and takes down Iroh, much to Azula's horror. Azula violently rebuffs Katara's offer of help.

In the Bitter Work episode, Azula tends to Iroh's wounds. Azula tells Iroh that Iroh wants she and her brother to get along. Much to Azula's surprise, Iroh tells Azula that Zuko is crazy and needs to go down. Iroh teaches Azula on how to redirect Zuko's lightning in case Azula encounters Zuko.

Azula will be recruited by Jet and the Freedom fighters to steal food to sustain themselves during the trip to Ba Sing Se.

Azula's Ba Sing Se casual outfit will be based on Han Chinese woman's Qing Dynasty outfit comprising of top and trousers which comes in shades of green and wears a red lipstick. Azula fought Jet when Jet tries to expose to the tea shop owner that Iroh and Azula are from the Fire Nation.

In Tales of Ba Sing Se, Azula will have a girl's night out with Jin. Azula's outfit will be a Manchu dress in shades of green.

Azula will disguise herself as the blue Spirit so as to steal Appa and bait Team avatar so that she can capture Aang and Azula ditches her Blue Spirit mask in lake laogai , subsequently falls ill for releasing Appa. Azula's hair grows in a bob and her sidelocks will frame her face. Azula dreams herself as the Fire lord and be flanked by the red dragon with Iroh's voice and blue one with Zuko's voice, foreshadowing her situation in Crossroads of destiny.

Azula wakes up in a good mood and assists Iroh in opening the Jasmine Dragon tea shop.

Zuko, Mai and Ty lee defeats and captures the Kyoshi warriors and stole their outfits and makeup in order to infiltrate to Ba Sing Se and conquers Ba Sing se under disguise of the Kyoshi warriors.

Katara will unintentionally misgender Zuko as Suki when reporting to him and his teammates about Azula and Iroh's presence in Ba Sing Se.

Zuko's Dai Lee outfit will be identical to Long Feng's and his hairstyle will be almost identical to Ozai's with a touch of the Dai Lee style . Azula's formal Earth kingdom attire will comprise of a pink peony in her hair and bright green and gold Manchu top with pants and with pink floral motifs.

Azula and Iroh will be tricked by Zuko into thinking that the Earth King invites them to serve him tea. Azula will be imprisoned with Katara in the crystal catacombs. Katara will offer to heal Azula's scar. Zuko manipulates Azula into siding him. Zuko kills Aang with his lightning.

Ozai praises Azula for killing Aang. Azula confronts Zuko for lying. Azula feeds the turtleducks.

Azula blames Iroh for his downfall and hires the Combustion Man to kill Aang. Zuko's hairstyle will be identical to Ozai in Book 3 except for the Beach episode and Azula will revert to her original hairstyle during her return to the Fire Nation.

Zuko will sport a ponytail during his trip to Ember Island.

Zuko crushes the Fire Nation boys' sandcastle with Mai flanking him , hand on Zuko's chest. Ty Lee tries to cheer Azula up and tries to encourage Azula to have fun in the beach. Zuko proposes a kuai ball duel with other the kuai ball players. Zuko gloats: "Yes! We defeated you for all time! You will never rise from the ashes of your shame and humiliation!" In Chan's party, Zuko orders Azula to get Mai some food, reluctantly, Azula gets her some food, walks away, someone bumps into her and she drops the food. Cut to close-up view of the food hitting the ground. Azula snaps:"Hey , watch it! This food is for my friend!" The female partygoer taunts Azula. Enraged, Azula shoves her , breaking Chan's grandmother's vase. Upon hearing the vase break, Mai berates Azula for losing control. Azula snaps back:" Well, at least I feel something, as opposed to you. You have no passion for anything! You're just a big blah!'' Ty Lee tries to intervene. Zuko indifferently sat there. Chan demands what is going on, the partygoer holds Azula accountable for breaking the vase, Azula blames the partygoer. Chan refuses to listen to Azula and kicks Azula out. Azula storms off goes to the abandoned vacation house, where she reminisces about memories of herself as a child with her mother, father, and uncle. She spots a stone imprinted with her own baby hand print, only for her eyes to be drawn to an old family portrait hanging on the wall. Ty Lee finds Azula and tells Azula to go to the beach.

Azula burns her family's painting to help kindle fire to keep them warm, prompting Ty Lee to wonders out loud whys he would burn something so precious. She snaps at her to mind her own business and that she does not understand her. When Mai comes to the defense of her friend, ordering Azula to leave her alone, Azula starts to mock Ty Lee and calls her a circus freak. As Ty Lee bursts out into tears, Zuko laughs.

Azula rants about her life where she admits that she is always angry, but unsure why. Zuko, Mai and Ty lee all pressure her into giving an answer, and she finally screams that she is angry at herself while shooting fire in the air because she does not know the difference between right and wrong anymore. Zuko tells everyone that Ursa thinks he is a monster.

Azula wants to speak out against Zuko's proposal to burn Ba Sing Se to the ground in the war meeting but she can't.

Redeemed Azula's appearance will be her Book 2 outfit and retains her signature top knop and lipstick.

Azula confronts Ozai during the invasion and Zuko holds Aang, Sokka and Toph off.

Azula greets Team avatar :'Hello Azula here." Azula successfully joins Team Avatar. Azula goes with her life changing field trip with Aang, Sokka and Katara during her days with Team avatar. Mai betrays Zuko, telling Zuko that she values her friendship with Azula more than she fears him. Ty Lee chi blocks Zuko before he can fight Mai. Zuko throws Mai and Ty Lee in prison. Zuko raids Team Avatar in the Southern raiders episode, Azula holds Zuko off.

Zuko blurts out to Ozai:"You can't treat me like Azula! when being told by the latter that the former can't burn Ba Sing Se to the ground alongside with the latter.

A schizophrenic Zuko tells Ursa that she thinks he is a monster during his preparation for his coronation as the Fire lord.

A mentally unstable Zuko fights Azula in an Agni Kai. Zuko accidentally injures Azula when Azula takes the lightning for Katara. Zuko being defeated by Katara slips into insanity and Katara heals Azula's wounds. Katara and Azula watches on as Zuko writhes in insanity and in chains.

Azula is appointed as the Fire lord and serves tea to Team Avatar in her spring green and gold Manchu dress with pink floral motifs and her hairstyle is styled in a liangbatou with pink florals and red lipstick in Jasmine Dragon Tea Shop.

KIM KITSURAGI - Before you can say anything more, you fail to notice the lieutenant carefully walking onto the edge of the ice. He looks over the frigid water, a dizzying blue that mirrors and distorts his exhausted face back to him.

YOU - “Kim?”

KIM KITSURAGI - Seconds pass as he looks to be contemplating something. Out of nowhere, he casually takes another step where the ice ends and the sea begins. It happens all too quick for the lieutenant to even voice a call for help— if he even wanted to — his body plunging into the cold water before your eyes.

YOU - “KIM!!!!”
