Well, it is about time I post something.

Here’s the unfinished overworld sprites for the now outdated version of Dawnlight.

Yes, outdated, I am planning on reworking the AU, but this time without an OST.

Either way, I shall start with some credits.

Credit goes to Perifrog, for making designs for Fuku Fire, Cheerleader and Purple Girl (unfortunately, I only got around spriting purple girl) who take the role of Undyne, while also making the design of Redacted, who takes the role of Chara.

Credit goes to Edmund Endless for creating the base design of Toriel, who takes the role of Papyrus.

As for the unrevealed roles…

Redacted takes the role of Chara. Fuku Fire, Purple Girl and Cheerleader take the role of Undyne. Sans takes the role of Alphys. Flowey takes the role of Mettaton. Gaster takes the role of Asgore. Gaster Follower 1, 2 and 3 take the role of Asriel.

And last of all, as for the OST…

Since I don’t want to list down the entire planned OST of Dawnlight, I will only say that the Alphys replacement was going to be called “better call sans.”, a reference to Better Call Saul, and the MEGALOVANIA was going to be called BLOOD MOON, where you would’ve fought Asriel and Chara at the same time.

okay i know we all like big dom small sub but isnt it so fucking sick when the little one gets to be dominant. I don't just mean in the bedroom, but in the relationship in general.

maybe the giant isn't very confident in themselves. they feel out of place for being big, because they're really not into the whole "social and cultural domination" thing. They really don't mind what their partner does, and is perfectly happy with getting told what to do - after all, if the tiny one decides, they can't possibly be accidentally hurt, right? Just so oblivious and clumsy, sometimes it's best for the one at risk to take the reigns.

on the other hand, imagine being the tiny one. They're like 3 inches tall. No one takes em seriously. No one can hear them, everyone just talks about how cute they are. They're flattered, sure, but isn't it nice to have some control for once? To not feel subjected to the whims and tides of existence as such a fragile being? And to exert that power over a GIANT no less. Someone just like them, but with the stature and power of a god, and their opinion gets to be just as valid. Hell, they even get to be the one making decisions! It'd be an absurd rush of joy and excitement.

I know that g/t is about power - that's the whole fantasy - but I think the role reversal is fun too, and we should talk about it!

randomly got really inspired and finally finished this fic!! the Role Swap/Spider-Hera au continues!!! sneak peek under the cut!

Why am I not leaving right now? Hera wonders, and again, no answer comes to mind. 

But a pair of aquamarine eyes keeps dropping by uninvited.

“Why are you not leaving right now?” comes an irritated voice through Hera’s commlink. She’d explained her plans for the morning to Kasmir when she’d returned to the Kasmiri last night. It made sense to drop Kanan off, since Hera needed to pick up her pay and return the Smoothride (which was a really inaccurate name) to Moonglow. Hera has done both of those things. And yet, here she is, sitting in the pilot’s seat of Expedient (yet another inaccurate name for the ship she’s flown for Moonglow over the past year or so), feeling as if she’s been glued there. 

She’d also promised to comm Kasmir when she was en route back to the Kasmiri in the morning. “You know I’m not a patient guy,” he unnecessarily reminds her.

“Actually, I hadn’t noticed,” she replies dryly, lifting the commlink. “I’m coming.”

Come on, Syndulla. Have you forgotten how your other relationships with causes have gone down?
