Sharon Rooney by Otto Masters for Rollacoaster, Summer 2023
“I think, what Barbie’s taught me is that you can do anything and be everything because she’s a woman who – literally – does everything. I’d really love to write something of my own. I see how clever Greta is and how wonderful she is and such an amazing actress, but she also is a phenomenal director. And Margot [Robbie] as well, she's an outrageously brilliant actress, but she's also got a fantastic production company. Barbie’s been a brilliant job to be surrounded by people like that who are working so hard but are all just really good people. In summary, Barbie’s taught me a lot about just going for it and believing.”
Rollacoaster: 'Featuring in our Summer 2023 issue, Barbie’s @sharon_rooney fan girls over Greta Gerwig, sets sights on a directorial debut and reflects on her beginnings in the My Mad Fat Diary universe 💖'

Dalat, Vietnam
hmmm where did the day start? well at 8am this morning, which feels like the earliest I've woken up to do things all trip.
first on the list was coffee and pastries! a solid breakfast if you ask me. after breakfast we wandered towards the lake in the centre of the city (omg it was so windy). then on the way to start our exciting day we found a sweet garden (we seem to be in a city full of flowers).
a few more kms walk and we found ourselves standing in front of an aspiring artist and architect's dream!!! (aka me). this place was insane! the perfect blend of function and art. it was almost like walking through a fever dream (what I would give to walk through it high XD). it was absolutely incredible! I've never walked through, nevermind seen, something as wild and awe inspiring as that house!
anyway moving on from the work of art we headed up the mountain towards a very cool coaster! I'm not a massive fan of coasters or heights or things that go fast but I truly did have a wonderful time and was rewarded with a waterfall at the bottom!!
also important to note that I made friends with a kitten!
