so while your friends run off naked to howl at the moon you stay behind to feel that memory you always kept your feelings close to your chest but the silence now is deafening

you close your eyes as a single tear rolls down your cheek

suddenly in this temple to the wilderness you feel electricity as a phantom hand rests on your shoulder the weight and the angle could only be one person you turn around to see the statue of the wild mother in the circle of moonlight

this time she's carrying something she brings a sword between her arms where she had none before a smell in the air like him

so far out here in the wilderness so resolute of mind and spirit you are reminded you aren't alone
