Well hi guys! I plan on publishing a hard book and this is a chapter from the book, I want public opinion and if is hould spend time writing it all. I hold them very very close to my heart and I would love if u give it a read, it's pretty small :) it's about a man I love, his name isn't stated :D do leave a comment I really badly need to know :)
A dinner and a dance
Its snowing here, floral dress and brown boots, I see you there. We met a month and a few days ago, a bond stitched with care. It happens in a million years; baby we’re rare. You’ve always been older but your charm? Dear, it wont fade. This should go as planned, for years I’ve prayed. I smile at you and wave… Aphrodite, she smiles down “This pair, for each other they’re made.”. I walk to you, we’re closer…smiles they won’t die down. It’s your eyes, that specific green shade. Remember that name I call you, refer to you as mine? You won’t forget it I know, Mr. Smiles. Said our greetings we walk in the restaurant, “it was pretty cold outside…in here its warm.” Taco Tuesday I reckon it was fun, I saw you laughing a ton. Smiles you know you’re my number one…vanilla, sandalwood, jasmine, chamomile and musk. It’s a dinner,I hope we can dance, long shot and tough luck I’m stuck in trance. Maybe if the piano plays, we can give it a chance. Amiable ambiance it’s a pleasure, for Venus darling we’re a treasure. Pull me a seat, we’re sitting together, going through the menu…glances changed and eyes referred. Faint clattering of cutlery but it all seems to go to waste, looking at you everything else seems of no taste. Any sort of grasp these fingers chase. Oh, dear smiles you’re a closed book, strange I know…difficult to read, yet in all my subjects you aced. Each time I giggle I see you smile; stars they tell me I picked someone who was right. My dress a shade of cream; it’s all nice, ill crack another joke just to see those pearly whites. Maybe its our lucky day or the planets have aligned, piano it shall play for us all night. “Wanna do something? It’s a surprise.”, you see where I’m going, let me steal a dance for the first time. We both know how to dance but let’s pretend we don’t this time, we can trip on our feet and grin at each other…partners in crime. On the dancefloor, eyes on us…your gaze like fresh wound with lime. Brown soil it supports the dominant vines; melanin orbs, the only thing warming this wintertime. Fingers locked, vision on a merry crusade. Cheeks flushed, bodies in full sway. Untangle a pair only to let me away, pulls back with a passion…nature of a waiting lover at the bay. Mercury, she has no moons; nobody willing to stay. Uranus, he has had his share, Umbriel, Titania, Ariel and so many more to name. Planets after planets, a chase yet to take place. We came here as friends yet the dynamic for now has changed. Rapture in your greens, burns craters in this planet; he’s willing to stay. Music in your life, it has an integral part to play…each word of yours if aligned it makes a blinding array. If emeralds they’re hard to mine…brown embers they’ll dig up your cravings in no time. Nothing to conserve, we’ve got no shame. This dance was meant for us, Pendants both locked for the other’s name. The song for tonight it draws to an end, day and night for us they’ll bend. Boundaries guard your smiles, loving at the core…soon to be mine. Said you’re much older, you age like fine wine. We’ll do the cliché ending now, pull me in for the last time. Arm on my back, half bent to the floor…another supports my thigh. A kiss could seal the letter…red wax on a paper creased tight. Smirk plastered on your lips, irises fully blown…black engulfs your malachite eyes. We liked it more than we should, vines of patience…we’re both confined. “I loved it.”. I said, sipping white wine. You pack the letter with a narcissistic smile, the letter…I got it. It says, “The pleasure’s all mine.”.
Thank you sm for reading pls pls pls tell me how it was :)))

Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
Pages: 391
Rating: 5⭐️
Review (spoiler free).
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I’ve heard people mentioning that this book was life-changing to them, and yes. It is.
The description and maybe some readers would say that this is a historical romance about a successful Hollywood actress and all her marriages. I can only tell you that this is not what this book is about. This is a story about a famous woman who, after seven decades, decided to wear off her mask and show to the world who was behind it.
What I really loved about this book was how the writer brings up very important topics, those that are not enough in the books. I’m talking about race, sexuality, misogyny and societies norms.
One of them being the sexism in hollywood industry that Evelyn experiences during her whole career, making her only a valuable actress based on how sexual she presented herself for male consumption. Not far away from what we see nowadays, huh?
“I didn’t need boys in order to feel good. And that realization gave me great power.”
“I felt myself pulling back, trying to take it all in. It shouldn’t have felt so scandalous, and yet it absolutely was. Women have sex for intimacy. Men have sex for pleasure. That’s what culture tell us.”
The writing was beautiful, smooth, descriptive, and passionate. There’s no dull moment throughout this story where you feel bored. I was literally struggling to put down the book, and I’ve read it between 2 flights and 2 train trips. The. Same. Day.
“People think that intimacy is about sex. But intimacy is about truth. When you realize you can tell someone your truth, when you show yourself to them, when you stand in front of them bare and their response is “You’re safe with me” — that’s intimacy.”
I’m really happy I’ve decided to buy a physical copy of this book.
What I’m taking with me is that life is very, very short to be pretending to be someone we aren’t not just to please others, but society.
Pick up this book. A must read.
Trigger/Content Warnings: death of a loved one, death of a child, talk of suicide, unhealthy dieting, underage sex with an adult, abortion, talk of miscarriage, a lot of physical abuse, cheating, dunk driving, and homophobic slurs.

Review: Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
Pages: 501
Rating: 4.5⭐️
Review (spoiler-free).
“For the first time, I wonder if maybe Sel’s right, and I am born of shadows. Or maybe those shadows aren’t who I am, but I keep finding my way to them anyway.”
I guess everyone is very familiar with the legend of King Arthur but I've never expected to read about it this way. This is a fast-paced novel, with intense character development and amazing writing. THIS, this book is how you write a YA contemporary fantasy.
I guess everyone is very familiar with the legend of King Arthur but I've never expected to read about it this way. This is a fast-paced novel, with intense character development and amazing writing. THIS, this book is how you write a YA contemporary fantasy.
The story goes around Bree Matthews, who joins this new residential program for high schoolers at UNC-Chapel Hill, who is also grieving the death of her mother and wants to disconnect from her family memories/childhood home. So, this new campus is the perfect escape, or she thought.
The first night of school she witnesses a magical attack off-campus, and a Merlin tries to erase Bree's memories - but somehow, that magic does not work on her. AND YOU'LL HAVE TO READ THE REST! I think it's also worth mentioning that Tracy does an amazing job portraying the racism and sexist behaviors that Bree experiences during the whole book, in a way that makes your blood burn.
“Typical anger can hinder or help. But the kind that burns in your gut? That’s fury. And fury is meant to be used.”
This book is an important read for teenagers. I wish I had this book when growing up, gender neutrality through the whole book is there and it’s amazingly well written.
I also really loved how all Bree’s relationships develop slowly through the story, especially Sel.
“He can’t be more than eighteen, but something about his features doesn’t belong to a teenager—the cut of his jaw, the line of his nose. His stillness.”
There's also romance in this book. You can expect a love triangle, which for me was a bit unnecessary, but it plays well because you will be very indecisive between Nick and Sel.
Dropping half star because there was too much fantasy info at the beginning and I was a bit lost. It was a bit hard to understand the world-building of Arthur's legend in this modern fantasy world. Also, the romance was a bit 'I've known you for two days and I love you'.

Maybe if I had loved him better. Maybe if I had said something different. Maybe if I had held his hand longer. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.
