gestures of affection that make me absolutely ~weak~

when you're walking with someone and they put their hand on the small of your back, pulling you closer to them

sitting next to someone, and they wrap their hand around your forearm

when someone plays with your hair

when they rest their chin on top of your head

unnecessary hand on thigh, at any time

when they squeeze you a little too hard in a hug

subtle pda, like little kisses here and there for no reason at all

when they reach out and give you a little squeeze - around your waist, on your thigh or arm, to get your attention to say 'hey, look at this!'

when they bury their face in your hair and breathe it in

when they gently move your hair out of your face before they kiss you

when they sit really close so your legs are touching

when they show you something just because they think you will like it.. and it's something you told them about only once or twice, meaning.... they listened.

a kiss on the tip of your nose

cuddles and snuggles just for the sake of cuddles and snuggles

when they wrap a blanket around you because you said you were cold

when they tell you that they told their friends about you

or that they told everyone all about the cool thing you did on your last date

Just - holding hands. Such a simple act that we often attribute to teenagers and even children... but holding hands as an adult... its such a simple and intimate thing. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

It’s hard to separate feelings. I think I fall in love with everyone a little bit. So it’s hard to see them go.

Humans are such detailed creatures. We love, hate, cry, scream, and we live like this. We have likes and desires and complex emotions that are difficult to understand. So when theres a connection there, when two people click together, it feels different.

Two souls that are speaking with each other in a way that only they understand. A language of their own. When a connection comes along like that, I like to imagine what the rest of their life will be…and if I’m there with them.
