Sorry for the 6 month hiatus. Hopefully this long story makes up for it. <3

“Good morning children”, Professor Mcgonagall says. You perk up because you know what she’s about to announce. “As you know this year we are hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and we will hold the Yule Ball as well.” You smile to yourself. “Now I know this is all very exciting, but there will be no fooling around, goofing off, or breaking the rules. You nod your head, as she wraps her arm around you and leads you out. You look back at Draco and make contact with his eyes. He tightens his jaw and looks away. You look forward and lean into Hermione.

“Hey you look upset, after dress shopping let’s stop somewhere and grab a butter beer, hm?” You nod. “I’m fine ‘mione but that sounds nice” You guys hop on a short train ride to Diagon Alley. You see Draco get on the train a car ahead of you. The cars for the rich are in the front. You scoff you yourself and roll your eyes. Hermione pulls out a book and you look out the window. The train starts moving and you watch people say goodbye to eachother. Soon you decide to pull out a jumper you said you would repair for Ron. Poor boy is clumsy and has several rips in his clothes. You start sewing things together. You are working on the hem on his sleeve when you accidentally catch your hand on your needle. “Merlin”, you whisper. Hermione looks up, “you okay?” “Yeah, just going to run to the bathroom to wash it. Just clumsy. Guess I’m turning into Ron now.”, you both giggle. You put everything away and get up to go to the toilet. You walk in without locking the door. You start rinsing you finger with warm water when the door opens. His tall figure locks the door. You definitely know it’s Draco from his slicked back blonde hair. You turn around, “Draco what the fuck. This isn’t even your car wha-“ he cuts you off by kissing you gently. You want to let your whole body melt into his but what happened in class runs through your mind. You turn around and continue washing your hand. “Darling?”, Draco asks. You scoff in return. “Okay fine, pout”, he says as he leaves. You watch him in the mirror while your vision blurs for a second. You regain your composure and walk back out to Hermione. Soon the train ride would be over.

When the train stops you and Hermione head straight to Madam Malkins Robes for all Occasions. “Good afternoon ladies”, Madam Malkin says as she smiles at you. You guys say hello and head for the dress section, it’s already pretty busy. I guess everyone thought of the same thing. Hermione starts looking though racks. You start looking as well but glancing out of the window. You see Draco walk past and you quickly turn around. Then your gaze lands on the most beautiful dress. It was a deep burgundy-red ball gown, that was fitted at the top and flowed down. It was satin fabric that was off the shoulder. You grab it and quickly go to try it on. Hermione goes into the dressing room next to you. “Y/N are you ready to show me?” She says standing in front of your dressing room. You step out and her jaw drops. “Y/n you look beautiful” “I could say the same about you.”, you giggle. She had chosen a purple and pink gown. You guys quickly get changed so you guys can get rung up.

After getting rung up you guys make way for the leaky cauldron. Apparently Ron and Harry were waiting there for you guys to be done. While you and Hermione were walking you see Draco walk out of Twilfitt and Tattings with his hand on PANSY PARKINSON’S back. Then she kisses his jawline. You are furious. You grab Hermione’s hand and brush past Draco and Pansy. He notices you and mutters under his breath, “fuck” You go into the Leaky Cauldron and find Harry and Ron sitting with butter beer and food waiting for you guys. After sitting down the three of them start making conversation. You stay quiet thinking about what happened. “Hey Y/n, you’ve been quiet”, Harry says. “Yeah I guess I’m just really tired I think I’ll head back and meet up with you guys later?” They all nod in agreement. Before you could leave they all get up and hug you as tight as possible. This is their way of cheering you up and making you laugh. You giggle as they let go and let you leave.

You make your way into the train car and sit down. You do feel a little tired, especially with the whirlwind of emotions you’ve been feeling. You doze off for awhile until the train stops and announces that you have arrived at Hogwarts. You get off and head inside. You then run into one of the students from the other school. He is tall and handsome and apparently very famous with a gaggle of girls screaming down the hallway looking for him. His eyes scream that he needs help so you push him into a broom closet. “Be quiet or they’ll hear you”, you say putting a finger up to his mouth. He nods with a smirk on his face. You wait for them to pass and then he starts speaking. His thick Bulgarian accent shows through. “Thank you, my name is Viktor.” He says implying he wants to know your name. “The names y/n” you say peaking out of the door. “Cost is clear, nice to meet you.”, you walk out. “For fucks sake.”, you mumble. There’s Draco watching you and another boy walk out of a broom closet. He walks away as you call his name. Your eyes start to tear up and you run towards the dormitory.

“I’m worried about Y/n”, Ron says. “She hasn’t come down for dinner. Hermione would you go talk to her?” “Was already planning on it”, Hermione replies. They all finish and go to the Gryffindor common room. The boys sit down and start eating chocolate. Hermione steals a few before coming up to check on you. She knocks and enters. You are working on finishing Ron’s repairs and the boys Christmas presents. “I got your favorite”, Hermione says holding out the chocolates. You grab one and thank you. “I don’t want to talk about it ‘mione” “I figured”, she says. Instead of pushing you to talk about it she gives you a big hug then leaves to her room. You soon finish your projects and fall asleep.

The next morning you roll out of bed. You don’t really want to but your three friends will worry. You put on your school uniform and meet Hermione in the common room. “The boys are already down there, Ron’s probably already on his third plate.” You both giggle. You both sit down and start eating. “Oh the other schools are getting introduced today”, Harry says. You raised your eyebrows pretending to be impressed. After a few minutes you hear a beat. Then the doors swing open. The Bulgarians walk in. “Bloody Hell that’s Viktor Krum”, Ron squeaks out in excitement. “Who?”, you question. He then explains who he is and stuff. You nod your head but you can’t look away from Viktor. He’s the one from the broom closet. He looks your way and winks at you. You blush and smile. You look over at Draco and he looks livid. He then grabs Pansy’s hand and holds it while he plants a kiss on her lips. You look down at your plate wanting to rush out. But you are way to stubborn for that. Then come in the girls from France. Ron’s starts to drool. And Hermione looks at him annoyed. We both look at eachother and roll our eyes.

After everyone is introduced Dumbledore goes through the goblet rules. You barely listen because you are burning holes into the table trying to ignore the urge to look at Draco. Soon after everyone is dismissed people started putting their names into the goblet. You see Viktor walk up and put his name in. He then makes his way over to you. You stand up to meet him halfway. “Hello y/n it’s so nice to see you again. I would like if you could show me around the school grounds.” He hold out his arm so you can wrap yours around. You look back at Hermione trying to hid your smile. “We will meet you in the common room later.” She winks at you and gets up to talk to Professor Snape about extra credit. “Over here is the edge of the lake. I’ll take you to my favorite spot.” You say smiling. “It’s beautiful”, Viktor says staring at you instead of the water. You lead him in between a bunch of bushes and trees until you find your spot. It’s a small area of grass with trees hiding you from the outside. You start taking off your robe, socks and shoes. Viktor stares at you. “Don’t be shy Viktor, it’s too nice of a day to not get into the water.” He chuckles and starts to do the same. You walk into the water not too deep, and reach your hand out to Viktor. He grabs it and you lead him in, he slips a little bit you stabilize him. “It’s pretty cold”, he says. You nod, “yeah but it’s refreshing it brings you back to reality in a sense.” You guys stand there looking out for a bit. Until you start to teach him how to skip rocks. Then you hear the bell ring which means everyone should be heading back to the grounds for bedtime. You guys quickly get dressed all back up and head back. He walks you all the way until the moving stairs. He hasn’t gotten them down quite yet. You see Draco staring at you out of the corner of your eye. Viktor grabs your hand and kisses it, “thank you for your time today. I had a great time” you smile back, “Of course and I enjoyed it as well.” You then walk up to the Gryffindor Door. You walk through and see Hermione, Harry, and Ron all staring at you. “Sooooo how was your date?” Ron asks. “It wasn’t a date I was just showing him around.” you reply laughing. You sit down with them and tell them all about what happened. But you leave the hand kissing part out. To tell Hermione later of course. You guys start to get tired so everyone goes to their rooms. Except Hermione comes with you. You tell her the exact details. And she starts teasing you about how he likes you. You laugh and start dozing off.

After a few days and a few flirty interactions with Viktor it was time for names to be selected. Everyone gets settled in the hall. First Dumbledore pulls out Fluer’s name. You open your eyes to yourself hovering above the ground. You put your feet down and stand up. Then you brush your hair back into place with your hands.

It took about 10 minutes to get to your spot. When you get there Viktor is standing with a bunch of things in his arms waiting for you. He hands you some of the things so he can lay the blanket he brought down. He then puts down the pillows he brought and the basket he brought. “This is very nice”, you say as you sit down. You would not be surprised if he’s asking her to the ball. Before you could sit down you hear the same sound that you heard when the Bulgarian’s got introduced. You turn around and see that Viktor is walking in with dark red flowers and his friends dancing and chanting all around him. He stops in front of you. He looks nervous, “Y/n, I would love if you would come to the Yule Ball with me.” You smile, “Viktor I would love to.” He hands you the flowers and picks you up and gives you a hug. Looking over his shoulder you see Draco make a fist with his hands. He looks like he wants to kill somebody. While everybody is cheering, you and Draco are making eye contact. She pecks his cheek, “I was just sending our friend back to bed it’s late” “That’s not what I heard darling”, your heart pings with pain hearing that nickname. “Fine I was telling this bitch to back off of my boyfriend”, Draco takes a step back. “Pansy we are not together like that. You are here because of my father.” You look stunned and can’t form words. She huffs, “you bitch.” She looks directly at you and jumps at you. You are underneath her and she is clawing at you. You feel her nails dig into your arm and blood rushing out of the wound. Draco is yelling at her to get off and trying to pull her off. You get you arm out from under her and punch her in the nose. She falls back, “you filthy mudblood you’ll pay for that!” She tries to get back on you with blood running down her face. Draco grabs her, “Pansy I will give you one minute to get dressed and leave” You huffs at him and smacks him across the face and goes back into the room. He picks you up and looks at your arm. You shrug away from him. Pansy comes out and pushes you down again. You get back up and Draco grabs your arm. She leaves and he pushes you into his room. “Here Darling, let me help you”, he says cleaning up your arm. “You don’t get to call me that”, you say in defeat. He ignores you and bandages you up, “she got you good, but you got her better.” You chuckle. He give you a shirt to wear of his. You take off everything else and put it on. “Thanks Dray”, he shudders at that name. “I’ve missed you calling me that. Listen I need to explain a few things.” He goes on about how his father forced him to be with Pansy. And he doesn’t want to be with her, but he can’t let his family down and he ends with, “but I love you.” As soon as he says it he tenses up. “Dray, I love you too.” He grabs your face and kisses you with need. You two then lay down and he pulls you into him. You guys are face to face, “Y/n you are always in my mind. Every second of every day. Thoughts of you plague me.” You kiss him in return, he snuggle up to him. Everything in this moment is perfect.
