Before we go, we have to take one last look at just a few family members! Some of them will be left behind for reasons I've already mentioned. I think I'll only be taking Ginevra, Sawyer and then Michael's sisters and their families, to minimize the chances of relatives dating each other.

Ginevra, of course, keeps drinking their potions of youth. They changed hair again.

Erin is an elder now :')) I would take her to the new save too but I can't forget how she wouldn't stop getting together with Stephen. I think we can pretend she went back to Monte Vista to be with her wife and son (whom I forgot to move to Appaloosa Plains)

Twyla is an elder now! Archer's only human sibling.

And well, lots more sims are now elders, but I'm only gonna show you one, because Rose was among my faves out of the relatives.

Rose, Venessa, and Reid went to the Humor & Hijinks Festival to watch the fireworks.

Rose has been doing her best to make friends with Judith Ward, and of course to be seen in public with her.

A pregnant voidcritter looks a bit funny, but Rose pulled it off.

And Rose eventually gave birth to her first son, Jupiter.

It has been a LONG time since I have updated on the Fatal Flaws legacy so we have a lot of progress to get through!

I didn't get great screenshots but all of gen four have left us :'( To be fair, they were reasonably older when they started had kids so it's not a surprise, however...

They got to meet the next gen! Unfortunately not the heir, as this was a teen pregnancy curtesy of the RPO mod, but her name is Rose and I adore her <3

This is guy, Ezequiel, is the relationship of gen five, so he does stick around, for a bit at least

In fact, here is the promise rings exchange! Yeah that definitely lasted...

Safe to say cohabitating was not going well! Neither of them wanted kids, as expected, so the relationship was rough, especially since they moved to San Sequoia of all places (I thought that would twist the knife more). The dollhouse certainly got caught in the crossfire

Harvestfest! Citrine was actually pregnant during the whole event and ended up dropping that bomb the next day so the face Rose is pulling here is fully justified

I totally forgot to take screenshots of the breakup happening but it did, and they moved out to a little cottage in their hometown, with the resultant child! Meet Quartz, the gen six heir!

Sienna is of course still around and a firm member of the family! In fact...

She got engaged! To her high school girlfriend Blakely! They have a child called Carmelo but again I forgot to get pictures

Here's the beautiful Rose now a teen, she's working hard to provide for the struggling family (yeah I didn't realise how hard it is to have a career with the Irresponsible trait, Citrine is a suffering comedian right now)

And the one think you might have noticed, Citrine looks very different! That's because he has almost fully transitioned as a trans man! I adore Lumpinou's LGBTQIA+ mod and I found it just in time for this gen so it fit perfectly! He can't quite afford bottom surgery just yet but soon! Honestly this gen is rough in terms of struggles and especially financially but I love Citrine so much and I'm excited to see where this goes!

Gen 3. Aurora #6 Struggling Sages

Briar Rose's toddler days felt very long.

There was always someone keeping an eye on her, but soon they all needed to get out of the cottage.

They headed to the surrounding forest to do the most random things (these mid-life crises are so out of place, so irritating.). Briar Rose would get exhausted waiting.

While Briar Rose napped, Morgyn took the opportunity to hone his magic skills lest he forget them.

"Watch it, Morgyn! What if Briar Rose sees you??"

At this point L. did the most childcare, as the other two focused on their random desires for adventure...

But sometimes, L. needed a break too.

After she read Briar Rose to sleep, L. had an itch to scratch.

But why does it take so long to clog a drain...Lord Stapleton came by to tell L. this was inappropriate, but she just ignored him. 😂 She also snuck into Gabi's castle and Magic Realm HQ to clog their drains.

At last, L. completed her (game-given) Aspiration, Chief of Mischief.

The great thing about these legacy challenges with occults and storylines is that I explore gameplay I've never tried all this time. This is the first time I've ever finished Chief of Mischief.

So you decide to conceal the Childs origins as best as possible

More sad events for the Thorpe family...

Anna Ruth passed away on the family farm from old age. The family takes comfort that she has been reunited with William in the afterlife.

As if that wasn’t sad enough, Kipper’s time had come as well. (this is why I almost never have pets in the game. I’m too heartbroken when they die)

Anna Ruth and William are laid to rest side by side. The family planted rose bushes near their plot.

Fun fact: I’ve played WAY ahead of this (into the 1930s/Gen 6) - William and Anna Ruth’s direct descendants across the generations number 201!!! 201 sims came from this 1 founding couple - so far!

Mentha: Did you plan on having an alien baby? Did you ever want to use Harley instead of Ruby as your rose gen?

Ruby: Did Ruby always love her son or was it a slow build to their mother son relationship

Aiden:Was Aiden always gay in your mind or did you get the vibe later on

Ashely:Grey Gen made me fall in love with doing the parenting skill when previously I hated that skill. Did Ashley make you love it or was it a skill you didn't or still don't like

Roxa:Was Roxa always the plan or did Amethyst have a chance. Do you regret not picking Amethyst

Amber:How close were you from deciding rather or not to give Amber a redemption arc? How shocked was Amber to discover she was having twins. How did her wife react(sorry can't remember her name)

Valentine:Was Valentine always the heir or did Dahlia have a chance. What made you go down the route of opposite twins but still protective

1. Mentha's alien pregnancy was completely by chance like I didn't want to have anything supernatural on this legacy but Mentha started it early. Ruby was always my picked heir I even asked people which look suited her better before she was even born in game.

2. I think Ruby looked at Aiden like a little brother at first and didn't have that motherly instincts towards him. Add her whole life crashing around his existence to that and she had no connection to him at first. The rest is history so it was gradual.

3. I didn't label Aiden as anything at the start but when he was a teenager I got that vibe from him and decided he was bisexual. Also I instantly shipped him with Maxwell at first sight so there's that too 🤗

4. I always liked parenting and I was even lowkey excited for it so Ashley made it even better. I never bothered with housework and stuff though so she actually made me love those. Like preparing lunch for the kids, setting the table, movie nights, doing the laundry instead of deleting etc. were stuff I used to dread but now I like them thanks to her. My one regret might be making her raise the twins only. She did the rest on her own while I focused on Roxa. I'll go back to that big family thing in blue gen.

5. Actually I had my heart on Amethyst when they were toddlers just like I wanted Ash instead of Ashley. I even had her name set in my mind while I did a quick search for Roxa. But Roxa naturally made me like him more later on but I really tried with Amethyst until she was a teenager. I do wonder how it would turn out with her but Roxa/Ruby are my favorite heirs so no regrets.

6. I wanted to absolutely crazy with Amber with no redemption arc and probably kill her off, leaving her twins to be poor BUT I couldn't handle upsetting Roxa any longer. His soul wouldn't be rest if I made Amber go through all that just to die so it was mostly for Roxa. I also came to like Amber for what she was. The pregnancy thing with Eve was planned so they were thrilled but the twins were a bit of a shock. Amber thought about raising two kids and how much it would cost them but Eve was a great parent she was very happy to be blessed with two babies.

7. Valentine was always meant to be the heir. I even picked their name accordingly and I always wanted the opposite twins route. The protectivenes came later on because I liked Dahlia more than I thought I would. She might be my favorite sibling right there with Amethyst idk maybe even more 🤔
